03:26the oldest child of Sharon Elizabeth and William Bruce Rose.

03:36His parents separated when Rose was approximately two years old,
03:39prompting his father to abduct and allegedly molest him before disappearing from Lafayette.

04:41Rose and his former L.A. Guns bandmate, Tracy Guns,
04:44formed Guns N' Roses by merging their respective bands,
04:48Hollywood Rose and L.A. Guns.
04:51In July 1987, Guns N' Roses released their debut album, Appetite for Destruction.
04:57Although the record received critical acclaim,
04:59it experienced a modest commercial start,
05:02selling as many as 500,000 copies in its first year of release.
05:06In November 1988, Guns N' Roses released the stopgap album,
05:11G&R Lies, which sold more than 5 million copies in the U.S. alone.
05:16With the success of Appetite for Destruction and G&R Lies,
05:20Rose found himself lauded as one of Rock's most prominent frontmen.
05:24By the time he appeared solo on the cover of Rolling Stone in August 1989,
05:28his celebrity was such that the influential music magazine
05:32agreed to his absolute requirement that the interview
05:35and accompanying photographs would be provided by two of his friends,
05:39writer Del James and photographer Robert John.
05:42In September 1991, with enough material completed for two albums,
05:47Guns N' Roses released Use Your Illusion 1 and Use Your Illusion 2,
05:51which debuted at number 2 and number 1, respectively, on the Billboard 200,
05:55a feat not achieved by any other group.
05:58On April 20, 1992, Axl performed with Elton John
06:02at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert at Wembley Stadium,
06:05singing Bohemian Rhapsody as a duet with Elton,
06:08and also sang We Will Rock You.
06:11Guns N' Roses played its final show of the Use Your Illusion 2 tour
06:14on July 17, 1993, at River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires.
06:19It proved to be Rose's last live performance with the band
06:23for seven and a half years.
06:26In August 1995, Rose legally left the band
06:29and created a new partnership under the band's name,
06:32a step he said he took to salvage guns, not steal it.
06:36Rose resurfaced with Guns N' Roses at Rockin' Rio 3 on January 14, 2001.
06:42Together with the other members of Guns N' Roses' classic lineup,
06:45Rose was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012,
06:49their first year of eligibility.
06:51On April 16, 2016, Australian rock band ACDC
06:56announced that Rose would be joining them
06:58and performing as the lead singer

07:58Axl reportedly pushed the house's gate open
08:01and hosed down the property.
08:03Opening the gate also made it easier for firefighters
08:05to eventually gain access to several nearby houses that were threatened.
