01:30And I'm here because I'm excited to celebrate a new chapter in New York City, one where the working class finally gets representation and we finally get the concession.
01:58I mean, we finally get the things that we've been fighting for for decades. We're finally getting that free child care. We're going to get that freezing the rent. We're going to get the fast and free buses. We're going to get so many policies because we finally have somebody in office who's willing to fight for us.
02:13Really, really excited about the new era for the city that's going to start today as Mayor Mamdani takes office and swears in as the first Muslim immigrant mayor in city history as a first generation immigrant.
02:25This moment means so much to me. I brought my hat, which my father gave to me and handed it down to me. He passed away in 2017. I wish he was here to witness what this moment will mean for the one million Muslims that make up the city.
02:38I remember I'm really confident that this is like a movement that is going to build and I'm really excited for that. I'm a native New Yorker. I've watched the city like just become less and less affordable, less and less livable.
02:50And I'm really excited for this to be something that, you know, for regular people to get some power back again, you know, and then I've just been really moved by the campaign. I've also been volunteering pretty much since day one out in the cold, heat, rain.
03:07And I met some really amazing people like we met through the campaign. So now we're here together. But yeah, it's just an exciting moment for New York.
03:37Come on.
03:43Let's let's make this one you know.
03:46What I thought it could possibly be. It's perfect. It's passionate. It's setting me free.
