00:00JFK's granddaughter, Tatiana Schlossberg, has died after a battle with acute myeloid leukemia. She was 35.
00:07The JFK Library Foundation, on behalf of Schlossberg's extended family, announced the sad news on Tuesday.
00:13Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts.
00:18Eight family members signed the statement, including Tatiana's younger brother, Jack Schlossberg.
00:23He is currently running for Congress in New York's 12th district.
00:27The Kennedy scion, known as Jack Uno on social media, previously shaved his head in solidarity with his sister after she was diagnosed with cancer and began losing her hair during treatment.
00:38In November, Tatiana shared her cancer journey in an essay for The New Yorker.
00:42She wrote that doctors told her she had a year to live. The cancer was discovered after she welcomed her second baby in May 2024.
00:50I did not, could not believe that they were talking about me. I had swum a mile in the pool the day before, nine months pregnant.
00:58I wasn't sick. I didn't feel sick. I was actually one of the healthiest people I knew.
01:03I had a son whom I loved more than anything, and a newborn I needed to take care of.
01:08Tatiana shared a three-year-old son and a one-year-old daughter with her husband George Moran.
01:13Schlossberg's cousin Maria Shriver, who was also notably Patrick Schwarzenegger's mom, previously shared her support for her on November 23rd, writing,
