00:00Trump allegedly said releasing Epstein list would hurt his friends, Green claims.
00:05Marjorie Taylor Greene spilled the tea on one of her final conversations with Donald Trump
00:09before the two turned on each other. While the congresswoman used to be a vocal supporter of
00:14the president, she switched up her tune once he went back on his campaign promise to release the
00:19Jeffrey Epstein files in full. Greene said Epstein was the key reason for her fallout,
00:25adding she spoke with Epstein's victims and pledged to support them if they chose to publicly
00:29name his associates. Greene said that when she directly asked the POTUS why he was refraining
00:35from releasing the list, he told her, my friends will get hurt. She claimed she also suggested that
00:41Trump couple invite some of the victims to the White House to show he was supporting them,
00:45but he allegedly shot down the idea because he felt they weren't deserving of the opportunity.
00:50Greene said she lost some supporters after distancing herself from the president,
00:54explaining she hasn't changed her views but has matured, gained perspective, and recognized how
00:59broken Washington is. The Epstein files represent everything wrong with Washington, the mom of
01:05three emphasized. Rich, powerful elites doing horrible things and getting away with it. And the
01:10women are the victims. Trump's name has been mentioned in the files, but he has not been
01:14incriminated. White House spokesperson Davis Ingle brushed off Greene's allegations stating,
01:20President Trump remains the undisputed leader of the greatest and fastest growing political
01:25movement in American history, the MAGA movement. On the other hand, Congresswoman Greene is quitting
01:31on her constituents in the middle of her term and abandoning the consequential fight we're in?
01:36We don't have time for her petty bitterness. As OK, reported, the tension between the two
01:41Republicans was one of the reasons Greene resigned from her role, with her last day being Monday,
01:46January 5th. She criticized Trump for calling her a traitor, saying defending abused women shouldn't
01:52lead to threats, and added she refused to be the president's battered wife.
