Day two of inaugural World Sports Summit in Dubai sees focus shift to athletes' well-being

Dubai Sports Council organised the event under the patronage of Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

00:06with conversations spanning athlete well-being, innovation and the future of global sport.
00:12UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov opened the day sharing his perspective on where mixed martial
00:17arts is headed.
00:18British UFC fighter Michael Venom Page was also in attendance taking inspiration from
00:23some of his own sporting heroes and hoping to pass on that motivation to the next generation.
00:28It's understanding that you need patience and things like this to keep motivating yourself
00:34to want to keep getting back into it so even being here in a short space of time I'm inspired
00:39and eager to get back to training, inspired and eager to go back and you know put the
00:44work into push for my next fight.
00:46Believe to God, believe yourself and hard work focus and you will achieve all those you're
00:53dreaming for and make sure that you're dreaming for to make a legacy.
00:59Legacy that can help and be an inspiration to the next generation.
