01:31and was officially communicated to the Election Commission through a letter dated Tuesday.
01:37He said the three seats would still be vacant until the next general and state election.
01:42On December 24, PAS announced that the three assemblymen were expelled by the party after
01:49signing statutory declarations to remove Mohamad Shukri Ramli as Perlis Mentri Besar.
01:54The three are Saad Siman, Fakhrul Anwar Ismail and Mohamad Ridzouan Hashim.
02:01Additionally, five other Bersatu assemblymen in Perlis also signed statutory declarations.
02:07On December 25, Mohamad Shukri resigned, citing health reasons, and was replaced by Bersatu's
02:15Abu Bakar Hamza, who was sworn in as the new Mentri Besar on December 28.
