Blossom Toes — We Are Ever So Clean 1967 (UK, Psychedelic, Pop Rock)
The debut album by a London band. The music is quite typical for 1967. Live performances were difficult for the band, so most of the recordings were done in the studio. All backing music was recorded with an orchestra and session musicians. The album is full of quirky, sometimes naive psychedelic compositions, the best of which is considered to be "I'll Be Late For Tea." The album was produced by Giorgio Gomelsky. It's worth noting that the album was included in Record Collector magazine's list of "100 Greatest Psychedelic Records."
