00:29inilahad sa plenaryo ni Senate Finance Committee Chairperson Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian na edukasyon pa rin ang may pinakamalaking alokasyon ng budget sa 2026.
00:381.35 trillion pesos yan, katumbas ang historic na 4.4% ng ating gross domestic product o GDP.
00:48Dagdag niya, pinatibay rin ang pondo para sa kalusugan na may 447.6 billion kasama ang pagpapalakas ng zero balance billing sa DOH Hospitals at piling LGUs.
01:01Ilang ahensya naman na nakinabang sa realignment ng pondo ng Department of Public Works and Highways o DPWH.
01:07Kabilang ang sa PhilHealth na tumaas sa 129.78 billion pesos dahil sa mahigit 16 billion peso na realignment mula sa DPWH.
01:17Nasa 39.8 billion pesos naman ang pondo ng NDRRMC na nadagdagan ng 4.2 billion peso realignment mula rin sa DPWH.
01:27Pinakamataas din sa loob ng mahigit isang dekada ang 214.39 billion pesos na pondo ng agrikultura.
01:35Kaya ang pondo na ito, direct na raw mararamdaman ng taong bayan.
01:39Pero kailangan pa rin magbantay kung paano nagagastos ang budget.
01:42Noong pisan na po natin ang mga reforma para sa isang bukas na proseso sa budget.
01:49Ang mahalaga ay magpatuloy, magpursagi at huwag magpatinag sa dating gawi at baluktot na sistema.
01:56Ilan sa senador na nasa plenary ang bumoto para maratipikahan ang BICAM report pero mayroong reservation.

06:10Ngayong naratipikahan na ng dalawang kapulungan ng Kongreso, ang BICAM Report, ukol sa General Appropriations Bill, ipapasa na ito sa Pangulo para sa kanyang pirma.
06:21Una ng sinabi ni Executive Secretary Ralph Recto na sa unang linggo ng 2026 sinasahang pipirmahan ng Pangulo ang national budget.
06:29Kognay naman ang report ng PCIJ o Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism na ang distrito niya ng kanyang kapatid at Speaker Bojie D.
06:39Ang may pinakamalaking DPWH insertions sa 2026 budget, sabi ni Swan Singh.
06:45Wala pong insertions sa ating budget, wala pong tago na mga pondo na o programa na isiningit sa budget.
06:53Lahat po ito ay dumaan sa masusing deliberation ng Kongreso at lahat po ito ay nakabase doon po sa mga in-endorse ng mga district engineering offices ng kanya-kanyang mga distrito base po sa mga pangangailangan.
