00:19On December 25th, the woman allegedly died by suicide in Bengaluru.
00:23Her family accused her husband, Suraj Shivanna and his relatives of Tauri harassment and
00:27filed a police complaint, triggering protests outside the husband's residence.
00:31Following the registration of the FIR, Suraj fled Bengaluru with his mother and travelled
00:35to Nagpur.
00:36They checked into a hotel in the city.
00:38Late at night, both allegedly attempted suicide by hanging.
00:41The 30-year-old Suraj Shivanna died on the spot, while the 60-year-old mother survived and is
00:45currently undergoing treatment.
00:47Hotel staff alerted the police, who rushed to the spot.
00:50The body has been sent for post-mortem and investigations are underway.
