00:00I think it's I think it's an exciting time for them because William is very much um William and
00:06Catherine are very much um taking a lead these days if I can say that and obviously we see a lot
00:14of them and there's a massive um drive and and can I say support uh for William and Catherine
00:21and also for the the King Queen and I think going into next year I think William and Catherine's
00:28um roles I think are going to become more poignant I think they're going to undertake more duties I
00:36think we're going to see um them more as a family I love it when you get to see them with the children
00:41I think it's really nice because that's I think what they're trying to to show the world is this
00:46is the future of the monarchy and they are uh you know that family are very close obviously
00:52and that's what they're trying to show everybody is that you know that this is the future
00:58you know that they are the future of the monarchy and obviously supporting his father
01:02uh and and stepmother is very important to him as well so I think that's what 2026 is very much going
01:10to be the King seems to be very keen on kind of getting you know kind of very much getting on with
01:16the job if I can say that and I think you know next year it looks at the schedule looks pretty full
01:22as well my writing scene is also a tour to the states coming up so it's going to kick off quite
01:27fast so I think um they'll take their time out over Christmas as they always do we'll see them over
01:32Christmas then there's a period when they all kind of anything goes quiet a little bit into January
01:37and then I think as soon as that period has passed then we'll see them getting into full swing for the
01:41for the royal the royal year which can I also mention the royal year it very little changes I mean
01:47you don't know that from a journalist point of view you could you're not you could it's like
01:51Queen Elizabeth you almost know what they're going to be doing almost you know like we always know
01:56that January it seems to be Scotland's Sandringham time um then it's high growth time then you get
02:03into Easter which is normally Scotland time um then you get into June which gets into the Wales week
02:08time then you get into the summer uh we've seen a lot of engagements in London then you get into
02:13August 10 October with a backup in Scotland then you do I mean it it doesn't really change a huge
02:18amount so what's also interesting going into 2026 we're all getting used to our new royal family
02:24that let's be realistic we are getting used to a new royal family I think some of us do still think
02:30of you know the past and Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh but it's now becoming the norm
02:35I mean Colin and the King singing the national anthem it's becoming the norm and I think that's the
02:39thing about each year it becomes you know you get that little bit further away from the past and
02:44you're moving into the future little George is doing more and more actually a lot more I've noticed
02:51I say a lot more I don't mean he's off doing engagements or anything like that at all but very
02:55much he's seen a lot more and it's it's interesting because I was asked about that a wee while ago but
03:00if there's a reason for that yes there is a reason for that well two reasons one is the public want to see
03:05him and that's what they're doing they're giving everybody the chance to see him but it's also getting
03:09little George used to his role because you know let's be realistic you know this is his future
03:14and they're very keen from a young age to help them understand this is normality this is your life
03:20and also little Charlotte I've noticed Charlotte isn't she beautiful I mean she's she's she reminds
03:26me so much of Princess Margaret's daughter Lady Sarah I don't know why but she reminds me so much
03:33Princess Margaret's daughter and we're getting to see more and more of her and the reason being these
03:39these these three Louis Charlotte and George are very much the future they are very much future so
03:45you know one we all want to see them and and we love it when we see them and everybody everybody
03:51just loves little naughty Louis beautiful little Charlotte and and little George you know we all
03:57love kind of seeing them and I think and for them it is just getting them used to this this the future
04:04you know this is getting used to it from a very young age which is what royal children have always
04:08had to get used to they've always had to get used to the fact that one day probably more so now because
04:1223 years ago we didn't have again the media we've got today we didn't have all these devices they get
04:18seen all the time so they've also got to be aware of that so it's good that they're teaching them from
04:23a young age and I think William did mention he's been very careful hasn't he with technology and social
04:28media with them but at the same time he will be making aware of of of what you know all these
04:34the modern world and the modern technology you've got and how if their every let's be realistic that
04:40every move is is literally watched the king made sure that William uh and Harry both had as normal
04:48upbringing as possible to the latest point and I think that's something William will be keen to with
04:53his children to give them even though he's teaching them and it started young he will be keen that they
04:59have as normal life as possible up to a certain point
