Little boy finally gets his pet dog after years of wishing and waiting

Chloe shared how her little brother dreamed of having a dog of his own.

''Every birthday, every Christmas, it was always the same wish—but our stepdad was allergic, so he had to settle for just the thought of one,'' she told WooGlobe.

''One day, he named his Minecraft dog 'Dennis' and even got a little Dennis teddy to cuddle at night.''

He figured that tiny Dennis toy was the closest thing to having fur in the house.

But the story didn’t end there.

''We spent weeks searching for a dog he wouldn’t be allergic to, keeping it a secret all along,'' she added.

''When the day finally came, and he met his real-life Dennis for the first time, all those years of wishing came pouring out in tears.''
