00:00In four seasons of tag, a runner has made it within one leg of their wind location.
00:05Two years ago, Adam made it one ferry ride from his destination of Borkum before getting caught.
00:09Now, Adam and Michelle are only 15 miles away from their wind location,
00:14the Gornergrad Observatory in Zermatt.
00:16They're on the train to Zermatt now, which is connected to the observatory by a cog railway.
00:20The trouble for them is, due to a curse, they can't use their phone,
00:23so they don't know when the cog railway leaves, whether they can afford it, or where to board it.
00:28To make things more difficult, while Toby and I are nowhere close to them,
00:32the chaser team of Ben and Brian are hot on their tail,
00:35about to board the same route to Zermatt, just one train behind them.
00:39If they can catch up and tag them, they'll get to be the next runners.
00:42If not, Adam and Michelle will become the first team in tag history to reach their final location,
00:48winning the game immediately.
00:50Now, we go to Zermatt.
00:53We're this f***ing close, Brian.
00:56Here it is.
00:58Adam and Michelle, stop.
01:04Please, stop.
01:07I'm begging you, stop.
01:09Just for a second.
01:10We're going to be out there.
01:23Oh, my God.
01:24Why are we stopped here?
01:26This is no mistake.
01:29It's just, the train's just taking a breath.
01:30My guess is that we are waiting for a train to pass.
01:33No.
01:33I see, there we go.
01:38We were waiting for this train to pass.
01:41Okay, more delays have appeared on the board.
01:43Okay, so the delay is longer now.
01:49It's up to six minutes.
01:50Again, six minutes.
01:53It's by itself not a problem.
01:58Here's what we're looking at.
01:59Now it's at seven minutes.
02:00So now we're at a seven-minute delay.
02:05Seven minutes is still okay.
02:07Again, it is a question of, we were at five before, now we're at seven.
02:12If it keeps going up, I start to get worried.
02:15Because if we end up in like a 15-minute delay, then they're only 15 minutes behind us.
02:20And I don't know what the odds are that our connection is that short.
02:24You know what I mean?
02:25Again, they might not be behind us at all.
02:27I bet that they are in freaking France right now.
02:37Toby, look.
02:38Look where we are.
02:41We're in St. Louis.
02:43Wow.
02:44Where are we?
02:44In France.
02:45Yeah, we're in St. Louis, France.
02:48Look, I'm pretty confident at this point we're not making the catch.
02:51Ben and Brian, we don't know where they are.
02:53If I get a text that just says, catch, I'll be so elated.
02:58Yeah.
02:58So elated.
03:05Oh, we're really starting to go up.
03:09Hopefully Adam and Michelle just get distracted by all the natural.
03:13You know, if we get a little bit too confident.
03:15That's just like, maybe.
03:18Maybe they're just like, you know what?
03:19We don't need to take the first.
03:21I could see Adam taking more time than he needs to just setting up a really nice shot somewhere.
03:29Which I love that about it.
03:31Please, Adam, get the perfect shot.
03:33That's so pretty.
03:35Maybe we should be on this side.
03:36Are the views better?
03:38Yeah.
03:38Please switch seats because the stuff, there's more stuff on this side.
03:43I think they certainly chose the most beautiful region.
03:47It's true.
03:48These little houses.
03:50Is this a cog train where it's like, it takes three hours to get to the top because this thing is so vintage?
03:56No, I don't think so.
03:57I don't think so.
03:58My guess is that, well, this is the other thing.
04:00We have to determine if it's longer than 53 minutes.
04:03Because if it's longer than 53 minutes, then we will have to do a challenge.
04:06I mean, that seems like a long commute for an astronomer.
04:11Sure.
04:12You know what I'm saying?
04:12Yes.
04:13I agree with you.
04:14Some of this stuff feels kind of perilous.
04:22I could have used the grappling hook.
04:24I know.
04:25I can't believe we got rid of the grappling hooks.
04:27We could have, even if they got the cog railway, maybe we could have, like, climbed up the hook and cut off of them.
04:32That was what the grappling hooks were for.
04:36They were so close.
04:38Yeah.
04:39Right, but over, like, a couple sounds behind them.
04:42Like, they're just, come on.
04:44I mean, it's literally just going to be a question of, are they able to get on the cog railway straight away before we get there or not?
04:56And I just, I don't know.
04:58There's no way I'm not.
04:59So here's the, here, so camera, I love camera, let's assume this.
05:03We get in at 11.24.
05:05They get in, I think, like, 11.47-ish.
05:11If they are a half hour behind us, which we assume they are.
05:14Is there a train up to the observatory between 11.24 and when they get in?
05:24Because I have no idea.
05:25I truly, like, I could see a world where it's like, oh, yeah, the cog railway, it runs every 10 minutes.
05:30It's like a total freaking joke.
05:33No, it's no freaking problem at all.
05:35I could also see a world where it's like, oh, the cog railway?
05:37Yeah, it's every 90 minutes.
05:39I'm literally imagining the Polar Express.
05:42It's what we're going to be for me.
05:44I think that that must be it, right?
05:47Do you see it?
05:49Do you see the cog?
05:49Do you see that line going up?
05:52Ah, over there.
05:54It looks like they are just getting into Zermont now.
05:57The only question is, are they still going to be there when we get there in 20 minutes?
06:02I sure hope so.
06:03I really want to see the look of their face.
06:13Arriving at Zermatt, Terminus Station, the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway thanks you for traveling with us and wishes you a pleasant day.
06:23This is truly where we...
06:27This is where we find out...
06:28If we're going to win the game or have done all of this for nothing.
06:34Zermatt?
06:37That...
06:38Hold on.
06:40Do you see that coming up?
06:41Corner Grat?
06:42Isn't that where we're going, Adam?
06:43Corner Grat is where we're going, yeah.
06:45What's this?
06:45Corner Grat.
06:47Does this turn into the cog railway?
06:51Is this continuous?
06:52Okay, let's figure this out.
06:54The train to Corner Grat is in five minutes.
06:58Coming down to the wire.
07:00If they don't get on this cog, then we'll get there before the next one.
07:08This is going back to this.
07:10This is going back to this.
07:12Ah, Adam, it had a picture.
07:15What did that picture look like?
07:17It had like a...
07:18Yeah, yeah.
07:19...unice icon like this.
07:21Yeah, yeah.
07:21We just need to find a departure point.
07:24Corner Grat railway.
07:26Yes.
07:26Best view.
07:33Corner Grat.
07:33Okay.
07:35Yeah.
07:35Here's a question, Brian.
07:41Is the train to Corner Grat on the Eurail Pass?
07:45Oh.
07:47No.
07:48I doubt it.
07:49The train to Corner Grat is not on the Eurail Pass, which means that...
07:52It's extra time.
07:53Extra time.
07:54Have to get tickets.
07:55Every...
07:56And hopefully there's a big line.
07:58Could be.
07:59Okay, okay.
08:01This is our cog.
08:02We need to find out how long the journey is also.
08:05We just have to make sure there are tickets.
08:07Journey time, 33 minutes.
08:08Okay, we can afford that.
08:09Should we try to buy it the...
08:11Yeah.
08:12How about I stay in line?
08:13Okay, yeah.
08:13We'll go over there.
08:14We'll go there.
08:14Okay.
08:14Okay.
08:14Come on.
08:38Come on.
08:38Come on.
08:41Come on.
08:44Oh, my God.
09:03Adam, it's already boarded.
09:09Oh, my God.
09:10Oh, my God.
09:11It's our boss.
09:12Oh, my God.
09:13If we had not hustled it out of there...
09:16No, I know.
09:16If the delay had been three more minutes...
09:19I know.
09:19If we had had, really, if the delay had even been three more minutes, probably wouldn't have
09:22made it.
09:28I think that's that, Michelle.
09:32Heart rate's over 100 from that run.
09:35I think that that's that.
09:36And that's why you train?
09:38Michelle, I think that's that.
09:40Oh, my gosh.
09:41They figured it out.
09:50Yeah, they're on it.
09:57Well, Brian, I think that's such...
10:03Everything went perfectly for them.
10:05They literally got off the train and went straight to the next one.
10:07Yeah, I think that's CT.
10:09Well, now I'm making it my life mission for Sam to come last.
10:13Sam, you know how you were saying before that it's statistically unlikely we could ever lose?
10:18Right.
10:18Sometimes cataclysmically rare events do occur.
10:23One cataclysmically rare event is happening today.
10:26Either we lose, or they're trained to the observatory falls off the tracks.
10:32Well, yeah, but just delicately off, right?
10:36Softly into the snow.
10:37Do you think it'll be cold?
10:39A little bit.
10:39I'm emotional.
10:46Well, it's very beautiful.
10:47It's so beautiful.
10:48It's a very beautiful sight, and it's a very beautiful thing that we've achieved, which is winning.
10:52Something that we both love.
10:54That is the Matterhorn.
10:57And there's an awesome roller coaster inside of it.
11:00Ladies and gentlemen, we will be arriving at the Bournemouth Park in just a few minutes.
11:18Please have your tickets ready for the electronic tour site.
11:21It's kind of a nuts situation here at the Gorner Grad Observatory.
11:32All right, Michelle, the observatory is up there.
11:35That's our finish line.
11:36We've got to cross the bridge.
11:37That's where we have to go.
11:38Adam, this is like a lifetime experience.
11:40Should we run it?
11:43Absolutely.
11:44Always.
11:45One speed.
11:46The fastest.
11:48Okay, the air is very thin.
11:51Come on, Adam.
11:56All right, ready?
11:56One, two, three.
12:00Michelle, we have won season 15 of Jet Lag the Game.
12:06Let's go.
12:12That was, uh, we did not need to run, but I like, I think that vibes-wise, it was a great call.
12:21Okay, so Adam and Michelle made it to their end location, meaning they have secured first place in this game of Tag.
12:29But you're thinking, there's 30 minutes left in this episode, and it isn't even the finale.
12:33What's going on?
12:35Well, alongside the jet lag first of a team making it to their win location comes another jet lag first, a runner-up round.
12:42And while the rest of us make our way up to the Gornergrat Observatory, I'll explain how it will work.
12:47The remaining teams retain our current win areas and coin balances.
12:50However, Adam and Michelle's area becomes a neutral territory, and they become free agents available to be drafted onto our teams.
12:57Even though it's not quite a catch, because Ben and Brian reached Adam and Michelle first, they will start as the next runners, and Toby and I get to draft first.
13:05Also, now that there will only be one team of chasers at a time instead of two, the freeze and cloak power-ups are gone.
13:11Other than that, the rules remain the same.
13:14You win by either making it to your final location, or running out of time on day three with the runners in your win area.
13:19And just by the way, it's only midday on day two, meaning we're only about halfway through our allotted game time.
13:25A lot can still happen, and trust us, quite a lot will.
13:29So, let's get started.
13:31Okay.
13:32Um, we're gonna go ahead?
13:35And, uh, start our run for second place.
13:38All right, we have to draft.
13:39Yeah, who's your player?
13:41Yes, uh, you guys get to pick.
13:43Okay, we'll take Michelle.
13:45Don't sound so sad about it.
13:47All right, we're actually very happy.
13:49All right, we're going.
13:50Okay, we're going.
13:51What are they doing?
13:53But why are they going in there?
13:54Because they have to buy the tickets.
13:56Oh, why didn't they just already do that?
13:57Because it was...
13:59Oh, we just bought round trips.
14:00All right.
14:02Yeah.
14:05No, we really got more data.
14:10We really got more data.
14:12Okay.
14:19Listen, Adam, we're already enemies because we didn't get our group shot.
14:31We didn't get our group photo with the Matterhorn.
14:33We were waiting here for four hours, and I had this, like, image of all of us getting a group
14:39photo together, and then it just turned into chaos.
14:42I didn't know it would be like this either.
14:44I thought we would all hang out for a minute.
14:46We knew that when that handoff happened, we had to get right back on the train that they were on.
14:51Oh, my gosh.
14:52Adam, welcome to the team.
14:54I'm thrilled to be here on the team.
14:55Well, this was big.
14:57This was big.
14:58We managed to make this.
15:00I don't think we would have had any chance if we didn't make this.
15:02Here's the deal, gents.
15:04We've got 19 hours of gameplay left.
15:07A whole lot to do.
15:08It's just going to be a question of how we get into the German rail network, and if at any point
15:14we can sort of swerve them.
15:16Because the problem right now, as I can tell, is that, like, our path back is pretty linear.
15:22So, we're going to want to get creative.
15:27Um, back to your test time.
15:30Woo-hoo!
15:31It's great to have your energy added to the team, and I can already feel it's shifted us,
15:35because Sam and I have been a little depressed all day.
15:37No!
15:38Well, I mean, you must understand why we've just kind of just been sitting on the train saddled.
15:43Yeah.
15:43Let me tell you, my first enemy in this game was Adam and Ben.
15:47I told Adam, we're enemies to friends to enemies again.
15:50Game on.
15:52Okay, well, we've been looking at routes.
15:54There's, like, two main routes into Germany, as far as we can tell.
15:59There's sort of going back the way that Adam and Schell came, go straight to Basel, go up
16:05through there.
16:06The other way, though, is to go to Zurich, and to go up from Zurich to, like, Stuttgart.
16:12Which I like more, because I think it's a little bit more unexpected and away from their win
16:20region, so if we get tagged, it gives us more of a chance to tag one back.
16:23I think Zurich makes sense, then.
16:27Do we have enough coins to get to Zurich?
16:29We need 2,350 coins to get to Zurich.
16:33That's perfectly doable.
16:35We just need a little combo somewhere along the way.
16:38And I think we have enough time to do a challenge.
16:42We pull a card.
16:44Once we get down to Zermatt, we have 16 minutes before our next train.
16:47Hopefully, we can knock it out.
16:49If not, we're going to have to keep going and do this in the future.
16:53Yeah.
16:53Welcome back to Zermatt.
17:01Welcome back.
17:05Okay, so we have about 15 minutes before our train back to Visp, so I think let's find
17:11a spot to pull a card.
17:13Yeah.
17:13Okay.
17:14Here.
17:15Right here.
17:15All right.
17:17Brian, would you like to do the honors?
17:18Yeah.
17:20Find the mystery object.
17:23Find the mystery object.
17:26Amy is thinking of an object.
17:28Check Amy's hint about what the mystery object is.
17:31You may now position yourself anywhere you like.
17:33Then, reveal what the mystery object is.
17:36You have five minutes to find it.
17:38If you fail to find it, this card is automatically vetoed.
17:41We have as long as we want to think about the hint.
17:44We want to check the hint and then try and do it.
17:46Maybe somewhere else, maybe here, depending on what our guide is.
17:49Yeah, let's look.
17:52Okay.
17:53Amy says, to me, this object is a lot like a hat, but it's not clothing.
17:58It just has a hat-like function among the objects it hangs out with.
18:04Umbrella.
18:06Maybe.
18:08Maybe.
18:10That's a pretty good guess.
18:11So, here's the thing.
18:14There's a lot of shops here.
18:15There's a co-op, which is a grocery store, an outdoor store.
18:18Yeah, I think we should just do it.
18:19Reveal logic.
18:21Lampshade?
18:22Okay, start the timer.
18:23Five minutes.
18:24I mean, we don't...
18:25Yeah, we don't have to buy a lamp, we just have to find a lamp.
18:29Hotel.
18:30Hotel.
18:30Wait, um, there's a tourist office right here?
18:33Yeah, check that out.
18:39There's a million hotels right now, sir.
18:41Yeah, let's go to a hotel.
18:43All right.
18:44Where are we going?
18:47Uh, you're just trying to find a hotel.
18:50Okay.
18:50Hotel is like you'd have a lamp.
18:55Uh, eight minutes.
19:02Hello, you okay?
19:04Yes, sorry.
19:05We're looking for a lamp.
19:07For a scavenger hunt.
19:09A lamp.
19:10Are there any lamps here?
19:12No.
19:12Okay, all good.
19:13Thank you, thank you.
19:17How do you get up last?
19:31Um, like three minutes.
19:33Okay, if you go down...
19:34How do you get in?
19:41I don't know.
19:47That's a lampshade.
19:49That's a lampshade.
19:50That's a lampshade.
19:51That's a lampshade.
19:51Okay, cool.
19:55Hi, sorry.
19:56For sure, mate.
19:58Thank you so much.
19:59Sorry.
20:02Okay, so yeah, get back to the train station.
20:03All done, well done.
20:06Good job, boys.
20:14Okay.
20:15Good stuff.
20:21We can get to Zurich, at least.
20:23Sam and Toby, the chase is on.
20:26Oh, I'm Michelle.
20:27Right.
20:28Michelle has joined your team.
20:36All right, we're free.
20:38We're so back.
20:40We're so back, and we're no longer enemies.
20:42That's true.
20:42That's nice.
20:43They're only one hour ahead of us, which, in the grand scheme of things, like, that's
20:48about the lowest head start a team could have.
20:50So, I'm feeling decent, but they're going to be crafty.
20:53I kind of doubt they're just going to do the most intuitive route.
20:57I think they're going to try to find something tricky.
20:58And there's nothing more tantalizing to Adam, in particular, than getting both first place
21:05and second place in a game.
21:06I'm really annoyed, and you know why?
21:09Because when they, when they left, they were, they were looking a little too excited.
21:14Yeah.
21:20Onward.
21:22It was very nice up here.
21:25We came empty-handed and left with a new teammate.
21:41Good?
21:41Okay.
21:43Okay.
21:43Here.
21:44Don't worry.
21:45There are no cars that can hit us here.
21:46Oh, here we go.
21:52Made it.
21:54Good stuff.
21:55All right.
21:56Good job.
21:57That was a little tight.
22:00Just a little.
22:01Just a tad.
22:02Just a small.
22:02Well, we love a little drama.
22:04Yeah.
22:05I think that train was a minute or two late.
22:07That's the thing about the, it's like every time with the Swiss Rail Network, they have
22:10such perfectly timed connections that it's always, like, stress.
22:15Yeah.
22:15Okay.
22:16They should be getting into this.
22:17Yeah, pretty soon.
22:18Momentarily.
22:19Yeah.
22:20So, I mean, we need to monitor when they leave to be able to, you know, cross-reference
22:28with the train departures and try to figure out which train they're on.
22:31Yeah.
22:32But doable.
22:34Yeah.
22:34Goodbye, Zermont.
22:37Bye.
22:38Bye.
22:54Okay.
22:56Well, welcome to Visp.
22:58We're going to make a quick transfer onto the train to burn and just keep on trucking.
23:03That's the update from Team Ben Brian at, um, Ben, it's not really a portmanteau.
23:09Ben, Ben, Brett, Brendam.
23:13I got it.
23:18Okay.
23:18Maybe it's four.
23:19Yes.
23:20I mean, that goes to burn.
23:22Yeah.
23:22Track four.
23:23Okay.
23:24It looks like they've taken the train to burn.
23:45Well, that's the Basel train, so they could get off at burn, which I think is kind of
23:50likely.
23:51It would be a nice place to get off, and there's lots of connections onwards from there.
23:55Seemingly, they didn't do a challenge in this?
23:58No, I don't think so.
23:59Because that was like a four or five minute connection.
24:00Here's what I know about them.
24:02At least when it was Ben and Brian, I know that they were really heart-set on going rat
24:07mode or goblin mode and doing crazy stuff.
24:10And this is it.
24:11They've only finally got a chance to do that.
24:12So I expect maximum rat and goblin is from them.
24:17I agree.
24:18But with that, if someone's in rat mode, the best strategy actually is to follow behind
24:23them directly, because a rat you can't catch by going in front.
24:28Yes.
24:28Only someone predictable you can catch by going in front.
24:31True.
24:32That's like a life lesson.
24:33I love it.
24:34All right.
24:35We're so back.
24:38Yeah.
24:38We've looked at all of our options.
24:40And we have sort of taken an excruciating look at Google Maps and Apple Maps and all of
24:48the maps.
24:50And we believe that we have a plan.
24:53Yeah.
24:53That we like.
24:54Yeah.
24:54I like it.
24:55We like it enough.
24:56I think it's the best option we have.
24:58Which isn't...
25:00We don't have a lot of good options because they can catch up with us so easily.
25:03So I think our strategy is to make it as difficult as possible.
25:09So tonight, pretty soon, we're going to Zurich.
25:12Spend the night in Zurich.
25:13Start early.
25:14We're going to try to get through some challenges.
25:16We need coins.
25:17That's our main challenge.
25:19So we need a bunch of coins.
25:20And then if we can get from Zurich to Stuttgart.
25:23And then go from Stuttgart to Nuremberg.
25:28And they can catch up with us probably in either of those locations.
25:32Can't they?
25:33Yes.
25:34If they figure out what we're doing.
25:35They can't catch up with us unless we miss a train.
25:40As far as I can tell.
25:41Yeah.
25:41But if we at any point don't get the coins that we need, we're done so.
25:49The first leg of that route, Zurich to Stuttgart, is kind of expensive.
25:55But we have a half hour tonight and a half hour tomorrow morning to earn some coins.
26:00I think we can probably pull it off.
26:02We've got 700 in like three minutes.
26:05Right.
26:06We'll need to earn like, I think, 1,400 in order to make that train tomorrow morning.
26:11If we don't make that train tomorrow morning, we're in big trouble.
26:16Because I think then we get stranded for a couple of hours.
26:19Yeah.
26:19So we'll just have to get to Zurich and pull some cards and hope for the best.
26:25Right?
26:26That's going to require a lot of luck.
26:29A lot of luck.
26:30A lot of luck.
26:32But everyone else has had a whole bunch of luck this season.
26:36Time for us to have a little bit of luck.
26:38Yes.
26:40Well, I believe we follow them.
26:44Rat time.
26:48Watch out the rats.
26:49These terminators are in town.
26:51And that's us.
26:54Let me check our connection onward.
26:55All right.
26:57So on first glance, I don't love our train options because it seems like they had a really good
27:06connection towards burn.
27:08Whereas we would have to wait like 30 minutes.
27:11So that's not awesome.
27:12And I actually think that this train might be rescheduled to get in at 6.35.
27:33Um, okay.
27:36It's showing delayed on Apple Maps.
27:39Oh, but this is a station.
27:41Is it not?
27:43No.
27:44No, this is Wankdorf.
27:46What?
27:46Okay, so the train we want to take.
27:54Okay, we are about to get it.
27:55Do you know what platform it's on?
28:01Platform, please.
28:03It's 6.30.
28:06Train's at 6.31.
28:07Yeah.
28:07Unless it's too late.
28:09Yeah.
28:10I don't think it's the end of the world.
28:11We can get another one.
28:13Next place?
28:13As long as we get to the center tonight, we're still going to have the hour.
28:20Yeah, yeah.
28:21So we're going to 8?
28:228.
28:29We're going up, bitch.
28:42The one that's leaving?
28:43The one that's leaving?
28:45The one that's dragging.
28:48Okay.
28:50What the f***?
28:51The whole challenge.
28:53Yeah.
28:54Here.
28:54Okay.
28:55We'll have to take the train that leaves in half an hour, which means we'll lose our challenge
28:58time tonight.
28:59So, challenge now.
29:01Ryan?
29:03Oh, I'll give us something good.
29:06Bury this treasure.
29:06Bury this treasure.
29:10Bury this card under at least three inches of dirt or sand.
29:13Don't worry, it's biodegradable.
29:15Send the other team a picture of its exact location and its coordinates.
29:19That's a good one.
29:20Love that.
29:21Under three inches of dirt.
29:23Love that.
29:23You should need to find some dirt.
29:25But they could dig it up.
29:25I guess it doesn't matter.
29:26Right on.
29:30Maybe up here?
29:33Let's go up there.
29:35Yeah.
29:38Perfect.
29:38I think, like, just under this bush is fine.
29:42Like right here.
29:44But we might need concrete or something.
29:46Yeah, I do feel concrete.
29:48Yeah, we need three inches.
29:52I wish I had my grappling hook.
29:54I'm going to go look for softer dirt.
29:56Okay.
29:57Just in case I can find it.
29:59If you can find something.
30:00Okay.
30:08We're going to do this.
30:18Welcome.
30:20Visp!
30:21So, it's worth saying we lost a little bit based on...
30:27This swipe.
30:28Yes, because they happen to have basically an instant transfer.
30:32Mm-hmm.
30:33So, we're going from a 60 minutes...
30:36We're going from following 60 minutes behind to going following 90 minutes behind.
30:40Just based on trine tables.
30:41Trine timetables.
30:42There's nothing we can do about that.
30:43We just have to, you know, accept it.
30:47Kind of have a jet lag, you know?
30:51So, but at the very least, they got to get out and burn probably in about an hour or so.
30:58So, that's cool for us.
31:00I'm nearly there.
31:01I'm nearly there.
31:01Can you focus on finding something to measure it with?
31:06Um, yeah, yeah.
31:09Just give me something to measure.
31:10Okay, I'm working.
31:11I'm going to do what they stick, okay?
31:13I'm like a dog with a f***ing bone, buddy.
31:15I'll dig a f***ing hole.
31:17I think this is hitting three inches.
31:18This is more than three.
31:19This is more than three inches.
31:21We have that.
31:21We have that.
31:21We're done.
31:22Here we go.
31:23Measure it.
31:23Confirm.
31:24Yep.
31:24That's way easily.
31:25This is three.
31:28That's definitely below three, but it needs to be all the way down there.
31:31Yep.
31:31And we have to take a picture and send it to them.
31:35Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
31:37Make sure, do we have the same coordinates?
31:38Yeah.
31:39Uh, yes, but we'll send them a Google pen.
31:42Yeah, don't put this stick into Marquette.
31:43Yep.
31:44Take a picture.
31:48We just got some coordinates.
31:50Oh my God.
31:51That must be the...
31:52Bury.
31:53Yeah.
31:53Bury the card.
31:54So, how does that work?
31:56Okay.
31:56They bury a card, and then if we pick it up, we get 1,000 points.
32:011,000 points, but...
32:02But they've just made 750, something.
32:05Mm-hmm.
32:05It's a little annoying.
32:06That's really quick and easy coins.
32:10On the other hand, it's right outside of the station.
32:12Don't we have to be runners when we pick it up or something weird, though?
32:15Oh, yeah.
32:16We can't pick it up unless we're runners.
32:17There is a 702 to Zurich that would get in right before the rest period.
32:22Oh my God.
32:23Where are you seeing that?
32:25Ah!
32:26But if they took that, we would be an hour behind them in the morning.
32:31Rather than 90 minutes.
32:33Yes.
32:33Yeah, because if I were them, I would stay on the fastest route, knowing that we can take the fastest route.
32:40And the fastest route in the direction that is best for them is to Zurich.
32:43I mean, what we can hope right now is they have 15 minutes of that train.
32:47Hopefully, they don't pull another challenge at risk of a veto and just kill that time to the train.
32:53I don't think anyone's failed a challenge.
32:57No, but here's why I don't think they're going to do it.
33:01If they fail it, they'll miss that train.
33:03Yeah.
33:03Okay.
33:04Do we want to risk?
33:05This is the question.
33:06Do we want to pull another cart?
33:07Because I don't know that we do, because if we have to veto it...
33:11Then we're done.
33:12If it's something that forces a veto, then we...
33:15If we veto, we can't get on that train.
33:18We have to go up a little bit, but then we're just right in front of them.
33:22Right.
33:23I feel like it's the lower risk move to take this as a win and to believe that we could get another...
33:29Okay.
33:29We still have another half an hour.
33:31Okay, let's get back to the station.
33:32We can technically pull a card tonight.
33:35Yeah, we could pull a card last thing tonight.
33:38Yeah, as soon as we get in.
33:40But let's just get to Zurich.
33:44Because most important thing is we make it to Zurich.
33:47We have to get out at the event.
33:48Yeah.
33:48They're going to be here in a few hours.
33:52I don't really know that we can get out.
33:54Let's go.
33:54Let's find that other train to Zurich.
33:56Ports there.
33:57It's the one at 7.02 to Roman Shore.
34:03Yeah, Platform 2.
34:04Roman Shore and Platform 2.
34:07Wait, I need to wash my hands.
34:08Is it?
34:08I think it's delayed.
34:09Wait, is it delayed?
34:1215 minutes.
34:13That's going to get us in too late.
34:1615 minutes spotter?
34:17I think that's what spotter means.
34:20No, no, no, no.
34:22Okay.
34:22Okay, let's think this through.
34:28Well, we can go further up this line.
34:31But I don't like going further up this line.
34:32I don't like going further up this line either, but I don't think there's any other way.
34:35But is there a train later that goes towards the same direction?
34:39I mean, we can go further up this line and then go from there to Zurich, but we won't make it tonight.
34:43Well, we need to get out of here.
34:47We have to get out of here before what time?
34:50They don't get here for an hour.
34:51The reason why, as long as we get out of here in an hour, we're fine.
34:54But then, like, we're right next to the morning.
34:57F*** it.
34:58That, just f*** it.
35:00That, our backup train got to link.
35:03Yeah.
35:03Our first train got to link, and you were like, it's fine.
35:04You have a backup, and now we're back.
35:06All right.
35:07On the train.
35:08Zurich.
35:08So, they haven't left Bern yet, and the Zurich train was at 7.02.
35:21What?
35:23So, maybe they're doing something else.
35:25Do you think they got ready and pulled another challenge, and they vetoed it?
35:34No, I don't think so, because...
35:36Yeah, I kind of doubt it.
35:37They would have not stayed standing there like that.
35:40Yeah, and also, with most challenges, you can kind of choose when you veto it.
35:45Which one words do you think they won't be going to take?
35:48Did you say this one?
35:49Yeah, IC81.
35:51That's small solution.
35:52Yeah, that's delayed.
35:547.17.
35:56Every minute that we stand here, we're at least getting...
35:58I know, I know, I know.
35:58Can we go to Geneva?
36:00Um, that's the wrong way.
36:02I know, but...
36:03I think that it would be better to go north than to go to Geneva.
36:05Okay.
36:06We can go to Alston.
36:07Alston.
36:08Alston.
36:08Can we look at that?
36:09That leaves in 21 minutes from Platform 9.
36:12Okay.
36:13And it gets us in before the rest period.
36:15Okay.
36:15And then from Alton, is there a train in the morning that we could take from there to Zurich?
36:20That gets in before the Stuttgart?
36:22It gets in before the train to Stuttgart.
36:23We can get...
36:24No, it takes 50 minutes to get to Zurich.
36:26It takes 50 minutes?
36:27Yeah.
36:27Because if we can't get out of Zurich going where we need to go, then they'll catch us in Zurich.
36:31Yeah, yeah.
36:32Because I think Alton is not an efficient way to get to Zurich.
36:34No, no.
36:35I mean, all we can do is get to Alton.
36:37All right, let's try to break down the problem.
36:39The one thing that we know is that we have to leave here before the end of the day.
36:44Alton is our plan A right now.
36:46Alton is plan A, but I don't like Alton.
36:49I think that that means that you just catch us in Ulton.
36:50Yeah.
36:51But I agree that Alton right now is the best one.
36:55There, maybe?
36:56Well, we just couldn't get it.
36:57Yeah, yeah, yeah.
36:58So, okay, we're in Berg.
37:00Alton is there.
37:00It's on the way to Zurich, so I see that.
37:03Lucerne, yeah, there's just not a good...
37:04We get into Lucerne, too.
37:07We can get into Brug.
37:10Brug?
37:11By 7.59.
37:13We can get into Brug, then, by 7.59.
37:15Okay, what time is that train?
37:16That's not bad.
37:16Can we get from Brug to Zurich in the morning?
37:18Can we get from Brug to Zurich in the morning before 6.30?
37:23That's the question now.
37:24We could get into Zurich at 6.24, but that train is at exactly 6 a.m.
37:30Well, then we just have to position ourselves right on the floor.
37:33Adam, we can get to Zurich tomorrow morning at 6.24, leaving from Brug at 6 a.m.
37:40But we won't have enough points.
37:42We don't have enough points right now.
37:44We have 10 minutes.
37:45I think we get onto the...
37:46Should we pull a challenge?
37:47Can we get onto the train?
37:49Let's pull one.
37:50Just pull one.
37:51I think we have to pull one to see.
37:53Maybe it's a person we, you know...
37:55I was looking for...
37:56Sorry, tissues.
37:58So I don't look like a crazy person.
38:00Juice.
38:03Juice.
38:04Using any fruits or vegetables creates and drink half a cup of juice.
38:08The juice must be strained, and fruits and vegetables must be acquired whole.
38:13No way we can do that in 10 minutes.
38:15Let's go see if there's stuff.
38:17Like, maybe we can do...
38:17Half a cup?
38:18Let's see if we can buy some fruits really quick.
38:20How much time do we have?
38:22We have to understand...
38:23Okay.
38:23We need to get some...
38:24We need to take them.
38:25Can we maybe get some...
38:26There's a co-op there.
38:27Can we maybe get some...
38:28Yeah.
38:28We can get to a co-op.
38:31Let's...
38:31I'm going to refresh you from there.
38:42Let's go.
38:44This is where I think it's...
38:45They're...
38:45They're riding.
38:47I don't think they would yet.
38:48We think that they won't rat until they cross the line into their territory.
38:54Or at least for a while, I think.
38:56I mean, we can monitor where their line goes.
38:59The co-op is over there.
39:01It's like there was a co-op up here somewhere.
39:02I know, but we just...
39:03We have several...
39:04I know.
39:04We've got to look for it.
39:05I think that one's just...
39:17Let's get off.
39:23Here we go.
39:35Let's go.
39:35Go, go, go, go.
39:45Careful.
39:48Steep.
39:48We got nine oranges.
40:18That's more than enough.
40:21Here's our co-op.
40:23So we just have to turn these into juice.
40:26Yeah, but we can't get our train.
40:27And we're only going to have...
40:28How many minutes?
40:32I don't know.
40:33We just have to figure out if in that one minute we can get to the right platform.
40:38Oh, right.
40:39Because when we get there, we need to sprint to the right.
40:41But we don't know what platform's going to be on tomorrow.
40:43Sometimes it comes up early.
40:45Okay, well, let's try to figure that out.
40:46Because you're right.
40:48If the train's at 6 a.m., we don't start until 6 a.m.
40:51We need to be at the platform at the end of the day so we can step on the train.
40:55I am soaked and covered in dirt.
41:00You did good, Ryan.
41:02You did good.
41:02Okay.
41:04Um, are we...
41:07Did the train was supposed to leave a minute ago, right?
41:11Supposed to leave 7.04.
41:17What's our margin?
41:18Five minutes.
41:20I'm not trying to freak anybody out, but we're now at two minutes to wait.
41:25So we're getting us down to three minutes.
41:27Because if we don't make it to Brugue, our chances of doing Zurich to Stuttgart are gone.
41:37Can we...
41:39Can we, guys?
41:40We're at two and a half minutes.
41:41I think, can we start looking at what else we would do if we have this list?
41:45What can we think we're stuck in England?
41:47Well, what if we continue on to pay some funds?
41:49We can't get there.
41:50We can't get there.
41:51We can get in too late.
41:51Okay, well, the train is leaving three minutes late.
42:02We have a five-minute transfer.
42:03That gives us a luxurious two minutes to get on the train to Brugue.
42:07We just went and got oranges.
42:09We've got nine oranges.
42:13We're professional athletes.
42:15We're professional athletes, and we're the best at this.
42:17And once we get it, we'll get into Brugue one minute before the rest period, and we
42:22will have to board a train from Brugue the following morning with zero minutes of marching.
42:33So that's the situation we're in.
42:39Well, well, well, well, well, well, well.
42:43Wasn't I supposed to do the intro?
42:45Well.
42:46He took my job.
42:47I was supposed to do the intro.
42:48I was supposed to thank you for watching this on Nebula.
42:50Well, I'd like to thank you as well.
42:53I'd like to thank you for watching Michelle and I win this season of Jet Lag.
42:57What are you talking about?
42:58The season isn't even over.
43:00What are you talking about?
43:00The season is not over, and yet it's been won.
43:03I've yet to see a trophy.
43:04I've yet to see any trophy.
43:05And isn't that sort of incredible?
43:08No.
43:09Here's what I actually want to say, and I do think we should take the minute to say this.
43:12Listen, what remains in this season is, I think, some of the most fun tag gameplay we've ever had.
43:17It gets, like, really good.
43:19It's like we really hit our stride.
43:22This season is just so freaking weird.
43:23It's a weird season.
43:25But stay locked in because it actually just gets better.
43:27You can hear us talk about, you know, winning and then also the second place round and how we've decided how that was going to happen.
43:35We cover all of that in the layover with our guest, Michelle.
43:39And to tying you over after you've listened to that, why don't you check out some of the other stuff we've made that is also on the wonderful platform of Nebula.
43:48We've made documentaries.
43:50We have made a pilot season of this show, which is, well, kind of of this show, which is exclusive to Nebula.
43:55We made, of course, The Getaway, which is like a crazy high concept travel show with other people.
44:04It was really fun.
44:04And then soon after this season is wrapped, we've got a docu-series directed by Mr. Adam Chase about the biggest scavenger hunt.
44:14It's almost four things.
44:15Yeah.
44:16Bye.
44:17Okay, love you.
44:17Bye.
