00:00Hi sweetie.
00:02Hi sweet girl.
00:04She had a really small little blue
00:06water bowl that was pretty dirty
00:08and she just sat in it.
00:10Hi sweet girl!
00:14Look at my house!
00:16It's a kiddie pool for puppies!
00:20So I brought her a kiddie pool,
00:22brought her some food, a new collar.
00:24I got you food!
00:26Chaining is illegal in the
00:28sea to California, so I
00:30brought a proper runner system.
00:38Hi sweetie!
00:40I went back a couple of times to bring her
00:42just more and more supplies and talk with owners about what
00:44they needed. Owned animals belong in their
00:46homes, not in our shelter. Typically,
00:48surrendering is always our last
00:50option, our last resort.
00:52Every single time she saw
00:54me, she just was so excited,
00:56tail wagging, jumping up.
00:58Just wanted so much attention.
01:00Can you see her?
01:02Can you see her?
01:04Can you see her?
01:06I brought her some toys, some bedding
01:08and some more dog food.
01:10We went out again.
01:12Her situation was kind of the same.
01:14We talked to the owner about their options
01:16and ultimately they decided that they just
01:18didn't care for her anymore.
01:20So we offered to have them surrender her
01:22and they decided ultimately that was the best decision
01:24for the dog and for the family.
01:34Brought her back to our shelter.
01:36She was definitely fearful.
01:38She had only known her home.
01:40She had never been anywhere else, so it was really
01:42great for her to be a new environment.
01:46And then a rescue called Rocket Dog actually pulled her
01:50and then they helped find her her forever home.
01:52And we immediately had a deep attachment to her
01:58and knew that we wanted to give her a better life
02:02and a loving home.
02:04When she first brought her home, she was a little
02:06bit apprehensive.
02:08When she actually entered into
02:10our home, she immediately
02:12plopped onto the couch
02:14and cuddled with me.
02:16She acclimated
02:18really well to our family.
02:20Every morning
02:22I get her out of her crate,
02:24give her a big snuggle
02:26and then I walk back to my bed to go make it.
02:28She will like jump
02:30into it and then just like
02:32look at me and wait for me to pet her.
02:34And it's like my favorite thing every morning.
02:36You silly girl.
02:38Bea really is the light of our life.
02:46What we wanted to do for her
02:48is to provide her with
02:50a fun day at the beach.
02:54She absolutely loved it.
02:56And that's what we wanted for her.
02:58We wanted her to know
03:00to know that the beach and the water was
03:02something fun and a good memory
03:04for her to have.
03:10Hey, honey.
03:12Wow.
