00:00To take on Extraordinary Challenges, this merry little lot are hoping they'll be good enough to have £5,000 popped into their stockings, also gifting us with their presents and placing their bets on our challenges, TV legend Alison Hammond, give us a kiss, actor and comedian Nick Mohammed, he's going over to barbecue, we need a barbecue,
00:29and all round funny guy Rob Peckett, what about me? Merry Christmas Rob, okay, this is You Bet On Tour, at Christmas, come on!
00:47Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way, oh what fun it's to ride in a one horse on the stage, or a Ferrari, ha ha ha!
00:58Jingle bells, jingle all the way, what were your Christmases like growing up?
01:03Oh, I loved Christmas growing up, I was obsessed with Chinese food when I was a kid, I sent a letter to Santa, I wanted spear ribs, king prawn fried rice, wow!
01:11I don't want to be some sort of weirdo, but I quite like a bit of turkey gravy, at Christmas, yeah!
01:16It'd be nice to be the You Bet Champion on Christmas. That would be something special.
01:22Because then you've got it for the whole year, exactly, yeah.
01:25Okay, I am one of the weirdo, you want this, do you?
01:27I've decided what I might do this time is say they can't do it, and then as they're doing it, try and intimidate them and put them off.
01:33Now I might just shout, you're gonna lose, you're wasting your time.
01:39I mean it's not very Christmas spirit-y is it, but I want to win.
01:42I'll tell you what, look at that guys, welcome to Kim Bolton Castle.
01:46Ooh, lovely!
01:52Hello everyone!
01:57Here we are, soaking up the beautiful December sunshine in the incredible castle grounds for our first challenge everyone!
02:04Yeah!
02:05Right, let's just get over there, chuck chuck!
02:07Nothing brings seasonal joy like a cosy wood fire, but it's always a hassle chopping and collecting wood.
02:17That's where Timber Sports stars Georgia and Glenn come in.
02:21They bet they can chop through four logs faster than a chainsaw can.
02:26Here's how it works.
02:27First, tree surgeon Jack and his trusty machine will chop through these four logs.
02:33Then Georgia and Glenn will use four different timber sports techniques to chop through their four logs.
02:39And to pass the challenge, they'll need to do it in a faster time than the chainsaw.
02:44If they can see and saw off their competition, then that five grand is theirs!
02:52So can they cut it, or will they face the job?
02:56It's Glenn and Georgia everybody!
03:00Good to see ya!
03:01Lovely to see ya!
03:02Yes, keep those down there!
03:04Yes!
03:05Welcome to the show guys!
03:06So, how do you know each other?
03:08So, we're a couple, we've been together for three years now.
03:10Oh, okay.
03:11Are you married?
03:12No, not married.
03:13Not married?
03:14Yeah.
03:15Oh, three years, won the Christmas show!
03:17It could be the perfect moment, Glenn!
03:18It could be!
03:20Yeah, you tell us!
03:22Now listen, you guys are banging to your timber sports.
03:25Just explain to everybody what it is.
03:28So, timber sports takes traditional wood cutting and forestry techniques and turns them into competitive events.
03:33Okay.
03:34How good are you at this?
03:36This year I actually won my fourth British title in a row, so yeah, I'm quite good.
03:41Oh, love it!
03:43Good one.
03:44What about yourself, Georgia?
03:45So, I came second this year at the British Awards.
03:48Nice!
03:49So, we have got the real deal here on our You Bet Christmas special.
03:52Now, you are going up against your competition, which is Jack, first name Lumber, and he is, um, keep up with me, would you?
04:00Um, on paper, it feels like he's got the advantage.
04:04Yeah, he's got the chainsaw, so he's probably got the advantage there, but we're going to give it our best and try and beat him.
04:09Jack's a tree surgeon, right?
04:10What do you do for a living?
04:11Does it, like, kind of help you in any way in terms of this, or...?
04:13Um, so I'm a builder, so I'm used to working with wood, I suppose.
04:16Yeah.
04:17For Georgia, it's a bit different.
04:18Yeah, I'm a finance assistant for local authorities, that's, like, completely different.
04:22Ah!
04:23Your job panel, of course, is to try and guess whether you think they will succeed in their challenge, yes or no.
04:27Get it right, and you'll back those all-important points, and whoever has the most points at the end of the show will be crowned our Christmas first-ever You Bet champion.
04:36So, Nick, we're going to come to you first.
04:38I can see the logs, they just look too thick.
04:40I'm so sorry, but it feels impossible, I'm going to say no.
04:43We're starting to read a no!
04:45Right, Rob!
04:46Again, I don't want to be negative, but it's...
04:49No, come on, guys!
04:51I just, I just think, and you're just going to tie out, and it's going to be close, but it's a no.
04:54Oh, okay, so two no's.
04:57Alison?
04:58I know it's going to be close, but I believe in love, I believe in you two, I know you've got this, and I'm going to say yes!
05:05Right!
05:06Two no's and a yes before the show, we asked a hundred of our You Bet fans what they thought of your challenge, and I can tell you that 42% believe in you, they say yes, but, of course, 58% are saying no, but it's still close, it's still close.
05:21So, first up, Jack will saw through his four logs using his chainsaw to set the time that you two need to beat.
05:27Let's go to our marshal now, George, in your own time.
05:30Ready?
05:31Three, two, one, go!
05:34And we're off!
05:41He's doing what he does best as a tree surgeon.
05:43That is fast, isn't it?
05:44That is super fast.
05:49Log one done.
05:50Oh my God!
05:52George and Glenn are going to have their work cut out beating this.
05:58It's like a no through butter!
06:01This is what he does day in and day out.
06:07Two logs left to chop.
06:11What are you thinking as he's doing this?
06:13Yeah, he's quick.
06:14He's quick, he's looking quick.
06:15He is quick.
06:18He's a big old boy, isn't he?
06:21That heroic pose is my favourite.
06:23I want to see that from you as well.
06:27Last log now, that time is looking quick.
06:30Look at him go.
06:33Has he done it?
06:34Yes!
06:35And he's finished.
06:36Right.
06:38Nice one, Jack.
06:40Glenn and George, that was an impressive start, wasn't it, from Jack?
06:42It was, yeah.
06:43He was really quick there.
06:44So, yeah, we're going to be up against it.
06:46The time that Jack has just set that you need to beat by chopping your four logs is one minute, 38 seconds.
06:52What do you feel about that?
06:53You just looked at each other.
06:54What did that mean?
06:55I think it's going to be a close one, but I think we've got, yeah, all the chance in the world, I think.
07:00Oh, listen, I really hope you do it.
07:01Can they do it?
07:02Yeah!
07:05Right, you both go and get yourselves ready.
07:08Come on!
07:11Gang's up first.
07:12138 to beat.
07:13Time to hand over to our Marshal George.
07:16Off you go.
07:17Athletes ready!
07:19Three, two, one, go!
07:23Glenn is doing the first log alone.
07:25Yes, he's good!
07:26By using what's called a single butt technique.
07:29I reckon I could cheese through that in five seconds.
07:31Look at him go, he's like a machine!
07:38Stop the clock!
07:40That's an incredible start.
07:41That was fast.
07:43One down, three to go.
07:46Georgia, you're up next.
07:47Take your position.
07:48There's one minute, 21 seconds left on the clock.
07:51Athletes ready!
07:52Three, two, one, go!
07:55Come on, Georgia!
07:56This is the underhand shot.
07:58Looks dangerous.
07:59Oh, my God!
08:00It's so close to her feet!
08:04It's hard to watch.
08:08Yes, Georgia!
08:09Go on, Brad!
08:10This is taking a lot out of her.
08:12Come on, Georgia!
08:16Go, Georgia!
08:17This second log's taking a long time.
08:22Keep going, keep going!
08:26Go on, Georgia!
08:27Go, Georgia!
08:28They're not through the second log, and there's only 40 seconds left.
08:32Come on, Georgia, keep going!
08:33Keep working!
08:35She's tiring out.
08:38She's losing a lot of time here.
08:41You can do it! Come on!
08:46Stop that clock!
08:48Well done!
08:49That's two logs chopped, but two more in 24 seconds is a tall order.
08:56Glenn looks like he's ready.
08:58This is the standing block chop, and they will need to go like the clappers if they're going to have a chance of winning that 5,000 pounds.
09:04Come on, Glenn.
09:05Three, two, one, go!
09:08Go on! Look at him go!
09:09Never mind a chainsaw!
09:10Glenn's like a machine!
09:13Yes!
09:14Yes!
09:19Go on, Glenn!
09:20Go for it!
09:22Stop the clock!
09:24Yes!
09:26Wow!
09:27That was a superhuman effort from Glenn!
09:31It's literally unbelievable.
09:33It now means you've got eight seconds on the final log.
09:37What is the fastest you've ever done the double saw?
09:4110.2 seconds.
09:44Oh, my gosh.
09:46Get yourselves ready.
09:47Let's get behind him, everybody.
09:49Come on!
09:51This is so close.
09:52Can they do it in eight seconds?
09:54This chop could be worth 5,000 pounds.
09:59Updates ready!
10:02Three, two, one, go!
10:05Are they going to do it?
10:07Five, four, three, two...
10:12They've done it!
10:16Yes!
10:18Come on!
10:19Yes!
10:20And you said yes!
10:21Yes!
10:25Guys, you did that last log in 7.5 seconds!
10:297.5!
10:32And the 5,000 pounds is safe.
10:35What are you going to spend it on?
10:36Oh, we've got a trip planned to New Zealand.
10:38So, yeah, it's definitely going to go towards that.
10:40So, yeah, I'm so excited.
10:41Listen, I hope you have a lovely honeymoon.
10:43Fantastic time.
10:45And, of course, Alison's smiling all the way to the leaderboard.
10:48Do you know what?
10:49I never doubted him.
10:50Love conquers all.
10:51I'm so proud.
10:52I'm going to buy a little fascinator for the wedding.
10:56Everyone, one more time.
10:57Glen and Georgia.
10:58Yeah!
11:06I'll tell you what else Alison will love.
11:07The cheese top of the Christmas tree after the first bet.
11:10But there's plenty more where that came from.
11:12Don't try this at home, because it can be dangerous.
11:14Here's...
11:16Yuba!
11:37Welcome back to a very special Christmas edition of Yuba On Tour,
11:40where Kim Bolton Castle is hosting our festive soiree.
11:45Guys, here we are in the beautiful drawing room,
11:47the perfect setting for our next challenge.
11:53When it comes to prezzies under the tree,
11:55we've all had a sneaky shake.
11:58But shop assistants Naya, Lily, Abby and Madison
12:01are taking it to the extreme.
12:03Under our Christmas tree are 50 wrapped presents,
12:08ready to be gifted.
12:10All selected from the 10,000 products on sale
12:13at the discount store our challengers work at.
12:16Using their encyclopedic knowledge of the store's inventory,
12:19the team must work together to correctly identify the gifts
12:22without unwrapping them.
12:24They'll need to get five out of a possible six correct
12:28to win the five grand.
12:31So do our shop assistants have this challenge all wrapped up?
12:34Or have they taken on more than they bargained for?
12:37Please welcome Naya, Lily, Abby and Madison.
12:44Here they are.
12:46Good to see you ladies.
12:48Welcome to the show.
12:49Now tell us the shop that you're actually from.
12:51We work in the best shop in Liverpool, Barneys Bargains.
12:54Is that right?
12:55And yeah, it sells from sofas to sheds to clothes.
12:59Just so you know, this isn't an advert.
13:00Just so you know.
13:01Sorry!
13:02So, what do you love about working in your store?
13:04What's the best thing?
13:05Oh, it's like a big family really.
13:08We're all having a blast.
13:10We're all constantly laughing, gabbing.
13:12What's the worst item in your shop?
13:14As it goes through your till you go,
13:15who would want that?
13:17Um...
13:18Rob's book?
13:20Reduced to clear.
13:24The wooden panels.
13:25They're so popular.
13:26Just non-stop with them.
13:27It's funny, cos I've got a wooden panel over here.
13:32Just like in Barneys Bargains, they're cheap.
13:37How long have you worked there?
13:40I've worked there for seven years.
13:41Who's worked there the least amount of time?
13:43Me.
13:44How long have you been there?
13:45Four months.
13:46Four months, OK.
13:48Do you all have your own specialist subjects?
13:50So, I'm on till, so I see these things quite often.
13:53I have my own aisles where I do household laundry.
13:56Especially subject over there.
13:57Oh, especially subject.
13:59So, panel, it is time to place your bets.
14:02Right, Alison, what are you thinking?
14:04This is so difficult.
14:06Especially the boxes.
14:07I don't know how you're going to do it.
14:08So, unfortunately, girls, it's a no from me.
14:11Oh, we're starting with a no.
14:12A Christmas No Nick.
14:14I think cos there's four of you and you're working together and you've worked kind of across departments and for various amounts of time.
14:21I'm going to say yes.
14:22I think you can do it.
14:23Oh, got a yes.
14:26Go on in, Rob.
14:27No, I think they're quite everyday products or so.
14:30Even if you haven't sold them personally, you might have an idea of what it is.
14:34And I just think between you, I just got a good feeling.
14:36I think you're going to do it.
14:37I'm going yes.
14:38Oh, come on, right.
14:39Of course, we always ask 100 of our You Bet fans what they think of their challenge.
14:44I can tell you now that a massive 78% have said yes.
14:49No.
14:5022% are saying no.
14:52Lots of points on offer here if Rob and Nick are right.
14:54So, panel, here's how it's going to work.
14:56You're each going to say two presents from underneath the Christmas tree for the ladies to try and identify.
15:03For everyone they get right, you get to keep.
15:06Oh, yes.
15:07Yes.
15:08Bit of festive spice thrown in there.
15:10Let's get this challenge started.
15:12Alison, do the honors, please.
15:14Right, okay.
15:15Anything I want.
15:16Anything you want.
15:17Anything at all.
15:18Okay.
15:19Right, I'm good.
15:2050 presents, don't forget.
15:21Anyone you want.
15:22I've got to get five correct.
15:23I'm going to go for this one.
15:24Oh, you're going to go for that one.
15:25It's quite heavy.
15:26Oh, she's got such a hard one.
15:29There you go.
15:30Right.
15:31Ladies, it's over to you.
15:33So, there's a lot of space, innit?
15:34Yeah.
15:35Oh.
15:36I think I have an idea.
15:37Yeah.
15:38I think it's the...
15:39Natural Himalayan salt lamb.
15:40Natural Himalayan salt lamb.
15:41Yeah.
15:42Natural Himalayan salt lamb.
15:43Oh, I hope it's right, because I'd love one of them.
15:45Let's find out if you are right.
15:48Open it up.
15:49Happy Christmas.
15:50Happy Christmas.
15:51Thank you so much.
15:52Come on.
15:53Oh, my God.
15:54You're an animal.
15:55What's happening?
15:56She's not messing about.
15:57She's doing presents.
15:58Yeah.
15:59Oh, it is.
16:00Yes.
16:01Wow.
16:02Look at that.
16:03That's amazing.
16:04Beautiful.
16:05Well done.
16:06Wow.
16:07A lovely present.
16:09Oh, you're doing so well, girls.
16:11Yeah, but you don't want them to...
16:12No, I do now.
16:15First one correct.
16:16Four more tickets.
16:17Right, Nick, your turn now.
16:18Right.
16:19Go for it.
16:20Go for...
16:21Right.
16:22I'm going to...
16:23I think I'm going to...
16:24Oh, yes.
16:25I think I'm going to go for a big egg.
16:26Oh, there we go.
16:27Yes.
16:28Go on, Nick.
16:29Go on, Nick.
16:30There you go, Nick.
16:31Yes.
16:32It's really heavy.
16:33Yeah.
16:34I'll get this side.
16:35I mean, it is really heavy.
16:36Go big or go behind the egg.
16:43I found a tin.
16:44It's a barbecue.
16:45Yeah.
16:46I think they could bake.
16:48Yeah.
16:49Right.
16:50What are you saying?
16:51Yeah, yeah, yeah.
16:52Yeah, yeah.
16:53What do you want to say?
16:54Erm...
16:55I think it's the...
16:56Uniflame.
16:57Grill barbecue.
16:58Two...
16:59Two...
17:00Two...
17:01Two burner gas.
17:02Two burner gas.
17:03Two burner gas.
17:04Look at Nick.
17:05He can't believe his luck.
17:06If they've got it right,
17:07he's going home with a barbecue.
17:08We need a barbecue.
17:09What a lovely present.
17:11It's bigger than him.
17:16Hang on.
17:17Hang on.
17:18Oh, oh.
17:19Oh, fuck.
17:21It is.
17:22It's a two burner gas barbecue.
17:24Yeah!
17:25Yay!
17:26Yay!
17:27Yay!
17:28Yay!
17:29Yay!
17:30Thanks, you're done.
17:31Nick.
17:32Best show ever.
17:33Happy Christmas.
17:34I'll tell you something there, Lily.
17:36Abby and Madison, you are doing very well so far.
17:38Two for two.
17:39Rob, you're up next.
17:40I'm going to go for a hard one because you're so good.
17:44I want to test you out.
17:45I'm going for generic box.
17:47Ooh!
17:48There you go.
17:49Generic box.
17:50There you go, babe.
17:51So you're having a little squeeze.
17:55It is.
17:56It is.
17:57It is.
17:58What are you thinking, ladies?
18:00It's very...
18:01It's heavy.
18:02Heavy.
18:03Heavy.
18:04But it's soft on the inside.
18:05So whatever's in it, it's been pushed, it's been condensed smaller.
18:08So what's in the shop that fits that description?
18:10We've got a blow-up, like, boat type thing, and we've also got a blow-up mattress.
18:15Right.
18:16It could be one of the two.
18:17OK.
18:18So you do have the pass, but it's your shout?
18:22I don't.
18:23I actually don't know.
18:24Going to have to push you on this one?
18:27The actual, like, the name for it.
18:29See, they seem to know the other one straight away.
18:32It looks like they're panicking.
18:33I feel like they're panicking.
18:34I'm thinking it could be the air bed.
18:39I think the air bed.
18:41What are we going to go with?
18:42We'll go with the boat, then.
18:43You're going to go with the boat?
18:44Yeah, we'll go with the boat.
18:45What's the name of it?
18:46The wet set boat.
18:47Pro boat.
18:48The wet set pro boat.
18:50OK.
18:51The wet set pro boat is locked in.
18:54Naya was thinking it was the bed.

21:40It's now become real, isn't it?
21:41Yeah, it has.
21:42OK, Nick, it's your present that could win on the £5,000
21:46and win you 78 points, so go for it.

21:53Ooh, another box.
21:55Mmm.
21:56Yeah, maybe this.
21:57Maybe that.
22:04Do you want to maybe give it a little feel?
22:06That's a hard one.
22:07I do, but if you just want it, if you just want it, pass.
22:09Ooh, hang on, they're debating it.
22:11What are you thinking right now?
22:13Um...

22:15Yeah, 50-50.
22:16Ooh!
22:17Ooh!
22:18Oh, hang on, so which two do you think it could be between?
22:20Um, the waffle maker or what's the other one, the panini?
22:23The panini press.
22:24The panini press.
22:25Yeah, panini press.
22:26So, right, OK.
22:27So how are you going to work this out?
22:30It's round.
22:31Waffle round.
22:32I feel like it's round as well.
22:33It's round.
22:34Was the panini one square?
22:35Yeah.
22:36OK.
22:37Yeah.
22:38So are you going to go with the panini or the waffle maker
22:41or are you changing your mind again?
22:43I think we're going to go with the Jeepers waffle maker.
22:46Yep.
22:47OK, let's find out.
22:49I'll tell you something.
22:50Lily's looking nervous.
22:53So we need it to be the...
22:55Jeepers waffle maker.
22:56We need it to be the waffle maker, Nick, for £5,000.
22:59OK.
23:07Right, here we go.
23:08Oh, big moment.
23:09For £5,000.
23:20It's the waffle maker!

23:29Yes!
23:32Wow, that was absolutely incredible.
23:36£5,000.
23:38You've done it.
23:39You said you could do it.
23:40You absolutely have.
23:41What are you going to spend it on?
23:42I'll probably just blur it all, but...
23:45What are the people at the shop going to be thinking?
23:48All they're going to be buzzing.
23:50I'll tell you what, a grand each?
23:51And you could put a grand to, like, a Christmas party
23:53for the rest of them.
23:54What do you think of that?
23:55Yeah.
23:56That's gone down well.
23:57Yeah, we'll see.
23:58Let's hear it for them, everyone.
24:01Legend.
24:05The boys wrapping up that 78 points means they're joint top.
24:08Alison's training, but it could all change
24:10as we head to Quick Bets.
24:15These challengers aren't here to play for the £5,000,

24:59Come on, Rob.

25:59Yay!
26:00And who's next?
26:02So, come on then, what is your name and what is your bet?

26:21Oh-ho-ho!
26:22He's oozing confidence.
26:23I think yes as well.
26:24Nick?
26:25No, sadly.
26:26I think no.
26:27That's interesting because 65% of our UBET fans think Tom can do it,
26:3035% think he can't.
26:32Let's find out.
26:33Take it away on your own time.
26:35Baby, all I want for Christmas is you.
26:5515 seconds left.
26:5715 seconds left.
27:0310 seconds left.
27:10Three!
27:16And that's amazing.
27:20You were losing breath then, weren't you?
27:21That's the first time I've ever done that.
27:23No way!
27:24It's the first time you've

27:44using only my nose. Wow. And burst it within 30 seconds. Is he decorating the rubber glove like
27:51a turkey? Yeah. Come on. No, not in that amount of time. It's too much. Okay. Absolutely not. No way.
27:58He's not going to come here without practicing. Of course he can do it. Don't try this at home
28:04because it can be dangerous. All right, here we go. Three, two, one, go. He's off.
28:1310 seconds gone. It looks like a turkey. Halfway through. No pop yet. Yes, mom.
28:2810, 9, 8. Oh, come on. 5 seconds left.
28:36Can he pop it? 30 seconds. He's done it.
28:40I feel it. What a Christmas treat. Allison, 51 points, coming your way.
28:50So let's see what it's done to the leaderboard.
28:53Ho, ho, holy mistletoe. Allison's retaking the lead after quick bets,
28:58leaving Rob with that much Christmas cheer at the bottom.
29:03This is dangerous. Oh my goodness. Oh no, they're colliding.
29:07Oh, you're all right, guys? You don't need to kiss a lot of love there.
29:20Welcome back to You Bet On Tour, where everyone's in the Christmas mood.
29:25Come on, mate. Come on.
29:26Just hear those sleigh bells sing.
29:28Come on, mate.
29:30Alice and Alan. Come on, it's lovely weather.
29:33We're going to sleigh ride together with you.
29:34Come on, sir.
29:36Outside the snow is falling and friends are calling you.
29:41One lovely weather for us.
29:45They were magic and we were tragic.
29:48Sweet for yourself. Thank you.
29:49Can we do it again?
29:52I see those sleigh bells jingle and ring, ding, ding, ding, ding.
29:56Come on, guys, get yourselves in the air.
29:58It's lovely weather for us.
30:00Come on. Come on, guys.
30:01Ooh.
30:04So here we are in the stunning castle grounds for our next challenge.
30:08CHEERING
30:09Now, you've heard of Cirque du Soleil, but it's Christmas,
30:13so they are Cirque du Soleil.
30:15Oh, wow.
30:16Do you know where we're going with that, yes?
30:20Tis the season to eat, drink and be merry.
30:22And to celebrate, we're preparing a Christmas feast for 12 esteemed guests.
30:27But somebody has forgotten to lay the table.
30:32That's where circus troupe Ember, Eden, Harry, Jordan, Felix and Marcus come in.
30:38Flipping and flying through the air, they must attempt to lay the table for all 12 guests
30:42in just three minutes.
30:45First, they'll need to lay out 12 plates on the 12 placemats.
30:49Followed by 12 sets of cutlery, 12 crackers and 12 glasses.
30:55Finally, they'll need to remove the three cloches before the big finish.
30:59Pulling a Christmas cracker in mid-air.
31:02So will our circus troupe be somersault into success,
31:05or will their heads be less spinning?
31:09And here they are.
31:13I'm loving the energy already, this is unbelievable.
31:16What sort of experience do you need to take it on?
31:18We all work year-round as circus performers.
31:21I also was a waiter, so...
31:24That all helps, when you're doing double flips and all that sort of stuff.
31:28So how dangerous can it be?
31:30Of course, anything like this can be very dangerous,
31:33but we train to hopefully minimise the risk, but they're never zero.
31:37Yeah, so any injuries amongst the team?
31:39I broke my back when I was about 14.
31:42You broke your back?
31:43Yeah.
31:43Were you laying at a Christmas dinner table when you did it?
31:45No.
31:45No? Okay, good to know.
31:46And how hard is this really?
31:48We're going to be doing lots of somersaults, lots of vaults.
31:51I don't want to give away too much, but it's definitely challenging to be precise.
31:55Now, remember, panel, your job is to bet whether you think our challenger will succeed, yes or no.
32:00Alison, what are you thinking about the circus troupe?
32:03Believe it or not, I used to do a lot of tumbling when I was a teenager.
32:07Break your back?
32:08Never.
32:08She'd never bring her back at any work.
32:10No.
32:13I was really good at tumbling, and if you practise a lot, you can get this down.
32:18So I'm feeling very positive.
32:20For me, it's a yes, I believe in you.
32:22Right, a yes from Alison.
32:24Rob, what are you thinking?
32:26Again, these guys seem really confident, and they've been injured in the past,
32:30which tells me that they're just going to go for it.
32:32Do you know what I mean? They're not going to hold back.
32:34Yes, I believe in you.
32:36Yes, Rob.
32:37Two yeses, but, Nick, what are you thinking?
32:39I, you know what, I used to do gymnastics when I was younger as well,
32:42and so I really want to believe that you can.
32:46I can see those placemats just look quite small, so I'm actually going to say no.
32:50Although I hope I'm wrong, but I hope I'm wrong.
32:51OK, so we've got two yeses and a no, but of course, as always,
32:54we do ask 100 of our YouBet fans.
32:5641% have said you can do it, so 59% have gone no, no, no.
33:02You've got to prove those losers wrong, no offense.
33:06Let's show them what we can do.
33:07That's fighting talk, I like it.
33:11Good luck, guys.
33:12Go and get yourselves warmed up, and we'll see you in a bit.
33:14Thank you very much.
33:15Nice one. See you in a moment.
33:16You've got this.
33:17Yes.
33:20I never knew that you did gymnastics or uni.
33:22Yeah, I did it till I was, like, 15.
33:24Anything you can show us?
33:25Absolutely not.
33:26Great.
33:28I'll tell you something, panel.
33:29They've got their game faces on.
33:31Oh, they are?
33:31They look ready.
33:32They do, yeah.
33:33Guys, you ready to nail this?
33:34Yeah.
33:35OK.
33:36Good luck, guys.
33:38You've got this.
33:39Remember, they've got three minutes to lay all 12 settings.
33:42That's 48 items in total.
33:43They'll start by laying the 12 plates.
33:47Time will begin in three, two, one.
33:51Come on.
33:52Here we go.
33:53Here are the plates.
33:54Here are the plates first.
33:58Oh, yeah.
33:59That was great.
34:02What a start.
34:03Eight plates down.
34:05Oh.
34:07One plate is filled off.
34:08Remember, they need to flip again to correct any mistakes.
34:11And that will cost them valuable time.
34:14Great.
34:14All the plates are all in place.
34:16Like cutlery now.
34:19Come on.
34:20Come on, guys.
34:20This is fantastic, this is you.
34:23Eight down.
34:24Four more cutlery to plate and...
34:27All the cutlery and plates are now done.
34:29Oh, well done.
34:30Now the 12 crackers.
34:32I'll tell you what, if you think this is impressive,
34:34you should see how they load the dishwasher.
34:35It's amazing.
34:38Yes, please.
34:42Merry Christmas.
34:43This is better than circus to slice.
34:47All 12 crackers are on the table,
34:48but they'll have to move two of them,
34:49because remember, they need one on each mat.
34:52Are they having to go back to straighten them up?
34:53Look, so he's got to straighten it.
34:55He's got to sort these crackers out.
34:56He's got to do it again.
35:01Oh, guys.
35:02Well done.
35:03All the crackers are now sorted.
35:06We're now on to the classes.
35:08Here we go.
35:08It's glass.
35:09Be careful, guys.
35:15Yes!
35:19This is dangerous, you know.
35:24Oh, my goodness.
35:27Oh, no, they've collided.
35:28Oh, you all right, guys?
35:31Guys, are you all right?
35:31Oh, gosh.
35:32They're all right, okay.
35:33I ain't no first aid.
35:34You don't need to kiss a lot of time there.
35:37They've lost time.
35:38Come on, guys, be quick.
35:40And there's still one more glass to go.
35:42Come on, big dog.
35:43Come on, big dog.
35:44Whoa!
35:46How's he doing?
35:47It's too big!
35:48All the cars are down, but the clock's ticking.
35:51They need to remove the three clutches and pull the Christmas cracker in just 20 seconds.
35:56They've done the clutches in one.
35:58I can't believe it.
36:02Beautiful.
36:02Just a cracker to go.
36:04They haven't got long.
36:05Go!
36:06Go!
36:06Go!
36:07Cracker!
36:07Cracker!
36:08Ten seconds!
36:09Nine!
36:10Eight!
36:10Go!
36:15They've done it!
36:19Unbelievable.
36:21Seriously.
36:21Wow, guys.
36:22Thank God it's Christmas.
36:25That was very close, guys, but listen, full respect.
36:29They did do it!
36:30Yes!
36:335,000 pounds!
36:35Wow.
36:355,000 pounds.
36:37That was absolutely amazing.
36:40Happy Christmas, guys.
36:42Merry Christmas, Stephen.
36:44One more time for Ember, Eden, Harry, Jordan, Marcus and Felix.
36:50Thank you, Ross.
36:50Thank you, Ross.
36:51Thank you, Ross.
36:53Well done.
36:54All right.
36:55Happy Christmas.
36:56Do you know what?
36:57I think it's time for a bit of a leaderboard update, guys.
36:59Yes.
37:01So, Alison remains at Christmas number one going into the final challenge,
37:04but Ross still in the game.
37:16Welcome back to Yuba on Tour at Christmas time.
37:18And boy, have we got a festive finale for you.
37:22So, Pamela, here we are in the castle courtyard for our final challenge.
37:28And this is a good one.
37:30Quick question for you and you at home.
37:31What was last year's Christmas number one?
37:33Oh, I have no idea.
37:35Well, if you think that's hard, wait until you hear what our next challenger is going to attempt.
37:39Meet memory expert, Katie.
37:45She has memorised every UK top ten single since 1952 when charts began.
37:52That's over a whopping 700 songs.
37:54Our Yuba choir will sing the first line from five of these songs.
38:01From that information alone, she must give the song title, artist, the year and its chart position
38:07on Christmas day.
38:08She'll need to get four out of five correct to pass the challenge and bag the 5K.
38:13Will Katie hear the sweet sound of success?
38:16Or be left with the Christmas blues?
38:20Please welcome out, Katie.
38:25Katie, welcome to the show.
38:28So when did you realise that you had this skill?
38:30When I was about three, um...
38:32Three?!
38:33When I was about three, I used to know which which footballers played for which teams.
38:38So people started saying I had a good memory.
38:41And then one day I found out about memory techniques,
38:43and I started competing in memory competitions.
38:46So I'm ranked number seven in the world.
38:49Ooh.
38:50How long have you prepared for this today?
38:52It's been taking a few weeks, there's over 700 songs.
38:54And my family have had to listen to all these Christmas songs and other songs.
38:58I've been testing myself, and it's been a lot of hard work.
39:01We're not just saying this is the song, you just hear the first line.
39:04Yeah.
39:04So you have to memorise the first line of all these songs,
39:07as well as the chart position, the year, the singer, and the...
39:11Because the first line might not be the name of the song, right?
39:13No.
39:14So, yeah.
39:14It's a lot.
39:15So, panel, it is time to place your bet.
39:17What are you thinking, Nick?
39:18I'm thinking it's a phenomenal thing to do, but I think that Katie's got it.
39:22I'm going to say yes.
39:23Oh, a nice yes from Nick.
39:25Alison.
39:27Oh, I just feel like it's a lot.
39:30It's a lot of pressure, the audience and everything like that.
39:33I really want you to do it.
39:34However, I'm feeling in my heart that she's not going to be able to do it,
39:38so it's a no.
39:39Oh, it's a no from Alison.
39:40Sorry.
39:41Okay, Rob.
39:42No, I don't want to be the mood hoover, but...
39:45Obviously, you're amazing with your memory and things like that,
39:47but I just think it's too much to do over a couple of weeks, so I think no.
39:51Right, okay, so two no's and a yes.
39:53Sorry.
39:54Now, Alison and Rob, you might regret this because a massive 79% of our UBET fans said yes.
40:00Yes!
40:02Yes!
40:0221% saying no.
40:05What do you think here, audience?
40:08Well, I really hope you do this seriously.
40:10And as it's Christmas, we thought we're going to push the boat out,
40:13so please keep the applause going for our UBET choir.
40:16Here they come.
40:23The choir are going to sing the first line of a song.
40:26We need the title of the song, the artist, the year it charted,
40:30and the chart position on Christmas Day.
40:33Here's your first song.
40:35Here we go.
40:36Bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye.
40:42When the snowman brings the snow.
40:47That is it.
40:48When the snowman brings the snow.
40:50We need the song title, the date, and the chart position.
40:56What's going through your mind?
40:57OK, so this is quite a well-known one.
41:00It's back in the 70s.
41:02So the title is I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day.
41:08The artist is Wizard.
41:10And the date...
41:151973.
41:19And the position was four.
41:23So you're saying Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day by Wizard.
41:251973.
41:27And charted number four.
41:28Yes.
41:29Is that your final answer?
41:33Yes.
41:34OK.
41:35We've locked that in.
41:36It's time to find out if you've got the first one correct.
41:39Choir, take it away.
41:43That is correct.
41:49That's how you reveal if you're right or you're wrong.
41:52Oh, I wish it could be Christmas every day.
41:58So let the bells ring out for Christmas.
42:09It must be lovely to get the first one under your belt.
42:11Yes.
42:12That's really good.
42:13OK, ready for the next one?
42:14Yes.
42:15Choir, if you wouldn't mind, do your thing.
42:17Ba-da-ba-ba
42:19Welcome to my Christmas song
42:25How short was that?
42:27Welcome to my Christmas soul.
42:30OK.
42:30You know, when you have to think of the whole song in your head to try and remember the...
42:36Right.
42:42OK.
42:43So I remember the artist and I'm seeing him sitting at a piano.
42:47So it's Elton John.
42:51Right.
42:53And the title is Step Into Christmas.
43:04So obviously this is an older song, but when did it actually come into the Christmas charts?
43:1020-20.
43:19I'm going to say position 10.
43:22Are you absolutely sure?
43:27Final answer locking in?
43:30Yes.
43:32If you've got this right, you are one step closer to winning at £5,000.
43:36OK.
43:37Time to find out if you're right.
43:40Da-ba-da-ba-da-ba-da-ba-da-ba-da-ba-da.
43:42That is correct.
43:44Come on!
43:48Day a bit of Christmas, we're joined together.
43:51We've been wanting to fall for forever and ever.
43:54We've been to be merry from the long day and meet.
43:58Day a bit of Christmas, be a wish in the street.
44:02Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh.
44:06Two for two.
44:07You're two for two.
44:10You've got to get two more correct to win the £5,000.
44:14OK, to song number three.
44:15You're the star upon the tree.
44:18So quick.
44:21You're the star upon the tree.
44:23Very quick.
44:28So, it's Sam Ryder.
44:31The song title...
44:33..you're Christmas to me.
44:37I don't even know that song.
44:39Never mind, remember it.
44:42And it was quite a recent one.
44:44Uh, 2023.
44:46Position two.
44:52You're confident?
44:53Yes.
44:54OK, let's lock it in.
45:00Choir, take it away.
45:01Da-ba-da-ba-da-ba-da-ba-da-ba-da.

45:26This is amazing.
45:27Honestly, that's three songs identified perfectly.
45:31Alison and Rob, your bets aren't looking so good at this moment.
45:33No, they're not.
45:34But I'm glad, you know, because I want you to get the money.
45:37One more to get.
45:38Here's the first line of your fourth song.
45:41Identify correctly to bag the £5,000.
45:47Good luck, Katie.
45:48You bet choir.
45:49Please do your thing.
45:52They said, oh, my gosh, I see the way you shine.
46:00Oh, my God.
46:01They see the way you shine.
46:03I know the pressure's on on this one, but take your time.
46:13Trying to work out which song it is.
46:19So, it's called Dance Monkey.
46:25Artist is Tones and I.
46:27But when was it in the chart?
46:33This is the bit that's always the trickiest.
46:36I think the year is 2019.
46:46But where, where is it?
46:48It's position 10.
46:59Are you sure?
47:00Remember, this is for £5,000.
47:03Yes.
47:03OK.
47:04This is it, the moment of truth.

47:35Yeah!
47:37What are you going to spend it on?
47:39Maybe a nice holiday with my family, two kids.
