The Somali government strongly condemned Israel’s recognition of Somaliland, describing it as a deliberate attack on Somalia’s sovereignty. In an official statement, the Foreign Ministry reaffirmed that Somaliland remains an integral, inseparable, and inalienable part of the Federal Democratic Republic of Somalia. Authorities declared that any recognition to the contrary is null and void under international law. Egypt, Türkiye, Djibouti, and other nations also joined Somalia in rejecting Israel’s move.
