00:00Popular celebrities. They're chestnuts. I'm an open fire. Let's get roasting. This is The Weakest Link.
00:15Behind me are eight wise men and women, all being led by a star. You're welcome, guys.
00:21They're each trying to win up to £50,000 for charity, but to do that, they'll have to work
00:25together. Seven will leave with nothing as round by round we lose the player, voted The Weakest Link.
00:31Let's meet the team.
00:35I'm Lou, a comedian from Kent.
00:39I'm Ross, broadcaster from Glasgow via Hollywood.
00:44I'm Eddie, a comedian and presenter from West London.
00:48I'm Martine and I'm an actress from Hackney.
00:52I'm David, I'm a comedian from Dublin.
00:55I'm Jess, a TV personality from Essex.
01:01I'm Blue, a drag queen from Northern Ireland.
01:05I'm Eddie, a Paralympian TV presenter and originally from East London.
01:13Do you know what, guys? I was running out of Christmas cheer for a bit, but
01:16hearing you say your names and where you're from, it's really perked me up, so thank you so much.
01:21I feel so Christmassy. Okay, here come the rules.
01:24In each round, the aim is to answer enough questions correctly to reach your target within
01:29the time limit. The target for round one is £2,500.
01:33The fastest way to get there is to work together to create a chain of eight correct answers.
01:39Get your question wrong, you break the chain and you lose all of the money in that chain.
01:44But if you press your button and say bank before the question is asked, the money is safe and you
01:50begin a new chain from scratch. You've got two minutes and 30 seconds for this round and we're
01:56going to start with the person most likely to bang on about Die Hard being a Christmas movie.

04:45Genuinely, so impressed. You reached your target of 2,500. Come on, Chris!
04:50Yes!
04:52I love you guys for now. That money will go through to the next round, but one of you
04:57will not. This is going to be very difficult. I know.
05:00Oh, come on. Yeah, sorry. It's like, yeah, it's Christmas, isn't it?
05:03First there's fun, and then there's a bit of disappointment when you realise the reality of life.

05:20One of you is about to leave with nothing. It's time to vote off The Weakest Link.

05:35Choose who hesitated, or whose costume's better?
05:39Voting's over.
05:43It's now time to reveal who you think is The Weakest Link.

06:29Your banking is, um, you're obviously keen on making sure you get that right.
06:33Yes. We're trying to raise money for charity here.
06:37Uh, can I ask why it is that you voted for Lou?
06:39I just felt, costumes-wise, she was the only one that could compete with this, and I want her out of
06:46here.
06:46Got you. And are you at all worried about her reaction?
06:50No, I'm going to block her on everything and never speak to her again.
06:56Um, Blue, I really do feel for you, because there were no incorrect answers, but
07:01the dear question, your face lit up initially, and then panic set in, and then it was, there was
07:06a little bit of hesitation, wasn't there?
07:08I think I'm just too glam for everyone here.
07:12I mean, I expected this because, uh, I'm in a room full of very famous people, and I'm just a
07:18lonely drag queen. No, I'm just kidding.
07:22Well, listen, Blue, I do think some of the votes are just because you're the most fabulous of the
07:25contestants, but I'm sorry to say that with four votes, Blue, you are the weakest link.
07:30Goodbye.
07:32It's going to be a blue Christmas without me, okay, guys?
07:36I preferred Anne.
07:39You know what? It is a bit embarrassing to be the blueser.
07:42It is sad to go home first, but it's more sad that my family are watching me lose over Christmas dinner.

12:27Aww.
12:28Aww.
12:29All is forgiven.

17:49It's like they're having their own separate bad answer competition.

19:19The smart mathematicians amongst you will have discovered that we've got a tie.
19:24We have Jess and Addy on the same number of votes.
19:28And in the case of a tie, it's down to the strongest link from the last round
19:31to decide who goes, and that is you, Ross.

19:43to change your mind?

20:14I'm so done.
20:14Yeah.
20:15No, it's good.
20:16I'm glad I got this far.

20:23Jess, you're very classy.
20:29Well, Jess, it's been wonderful to have you on this show.
20:32And I hope you can now go and enjoy your Christmas, but I'm afraid to say that with three votes,
20:37you are the weakest link.
20:38Goodbye.
20:46I could have got through, but yeah, no, unfortunately, Ross made the call.
20:51He was sticking with his guns and that was how it went.
20:54I've had an amazing time and I just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
21:03Round four, you have banked £3,100
21:05that have a potential prize money of £10,000.
21:09There are just five of you left and we are taking another 10 seconds off the clock.
21:13So you only have two minutes to bank a possible £5,000.
21:17We're going to start with the strongest link from the last round.
21:19As we know, that's you, Ross.
21:21Let's play the weakest link.
