Hundreds of activists stormed London’s Westfield Stratford City shopping center, forcing dozens of stores to close and bringing the complex to a standstill. The protest sought to raise awareness among the British public about Israeli actions in Gaza, which since October 7, 2023, have claimed the lives of nearly 71,000 Palestinians. Demonstrators joined the growing global rejection of Benjamin Netanyahu’s government and its policies against the Palestinian civilian population.
