00:00You can go, I'm sorry.
00:03You can go.
00:06Have you told Colin?
00:07No.
00:08Yeah.
00:09Are you kidding me?
00:11Told me what?
00:12The last time I saw my dad, he pitched the backyard
00:15as a wedding venue.
00:17I really don't have words.
00:20I'm really just trying to wrap my head around it all.
00:23Hey, Mom.
00:24I would like to have, like, a sleepover,
00:26like a hangout with you.
00:28I'm surprised that Beckner requested
00:30to have a sleepover with me,
00:32because, like me, he suffers from anxiety.
00:35Hola, como estas? Muy bien, YouTube?
00:38Muy bien.
00:39How you doing, man?
00:40Good.
00:41You guys want to have this damn sleepover?
00:44Decided where you're having your wedding at?
00:46We got no idea.
00:48Well, there's always an open option.
00:51The backyard.
00:53I know exactly who put Beckner up to this.
00:56Thank you, Alan.
00:58I don't really know how to say it,
01:01but I do have anxiety, yeah.
01:03What are you anxious about?
01:05Like...
01:06Everything?
01:07Yeah.
01:08Do you care if I talk to you for a second?
01:09Yeah, no, that's fine.
01:12Beckner expressed to me his anxiety.
01:14Yeah.
01:15It's a really big issue.
01:17I was talking to Beckner last night and he opened up to me about his anxieties and some of the OCD traits that I see.
01:31Yeah.
01:31It's a really big issue.
01:32I see a lot of myself in Beckner.
01:36I see a lot of myself in Beckner and from my own journey and from my own standpoint, I do worry a little bit that Beckner could develop OCD and without help, you're just swimming in your own thoughts all day.
01:50I mean, I think he's definitely aware of it.
02:05Are you aware of it?
02:06Yeah, and I'm aware of it.
02:07We're aware of it too.
02:08Okay.
02:09Balen approaching me about Beckner kind of implies at first, like maybe I didn't know what was going on with him.
02:19But this is not the first conversation that we've ever had where she has concern about a sibling.
02:26This is just who Balen is.
02:28Like she has such a level of deep love for her siblings, not just Beckner.
02:34He does a really good job of hiding it and putting on his big, tough Beckner act.
02:39Beckner doesn't hold back much with being open about his thoughts and his feelings.
02:45We just take it day by day.
02:47If we found out that Tourette's was already in the family and OCD already ran in the family, then we would be able to like as parents have that like awareness before like the kid.
02:58Does that make any type of sense?
02:59Totally makes sense.
03:00That's why generational diagnoses mean so much.
03:04But Beckner doesn't have a diagnosis.
03:06So that means he can't get treatment for it.
03:08We have been tackling these family generational disorders for years that have genetic components to them.
03:16You know, the ticks and the Tourette and the OCD.
03:20But these are abstract conditions.
03:23This isn't you go in for an MRI, they tell you what's wrong, and they come up with a fix.
03:28There is not a recipe of knowing when you need medical help.
03:33Could he get to the point where maybe he needs some sort of interventional therapy?
03:37No, but it's about the diagnosis.
03:40Because if Beckner found out all of these things now, and he was able to treat them now instead of at 15 years old.
03:47I'm not medicating an 11 year old. I'm not.
03:51It's not about medication, but for him to get treated for it.
03:55He needs the diagnosis.
03:57I mean, obviously, my eyes are open to it.
04:00Right? You know what I mean?
04:03I don't know. Beckner is such a good kid.
04:05I don't know.
04:06I don't know.
04:07I don't know.
04:08With my own medical journey, and the pain and the hurt that I went through, I turned it into passion.
04:17And it's helped me be 100% more aware of other people and their emotions.
04:30I think that she's taken those pieces of struggle and transformed them into power.
04:36And her ability to see the lost, broken, hurt parts of other people, because that's who she was.
04:43I'm really glad that you brought that up.
04:47I think it's just important to keep the conversation alive.
04:51You're always trying to stay ahead of the game.
04:53Because when you let things go, like I feel like we let things go a little bit with Balen, then you're backpedaling.
04:59And it's not fair to them.
05:01But with that being said, I feel like we've gotten a little bit better at it.
05:05So my gut tells me that I will know when it's time to seek more help for Beckner if needed.
05:13Why are you stacking them?
05:23I'm going to start out here with one board and screw it down.
05:25Oh, hey, dude.
05:26What's up?
05:27What's up?
05:28Doctor, do you want to help me?
05:29What is this?
05:30Why is one higher than the other?
05:32This is a registration location for Balen's wedding.
05:35Al's always ahead of himself on projects.
05:38I have plans.
05:39Are you channeling the field of dreams?
05:41Oh my gosh.
05:42I am building the field of dreams.
05:44If I do build it, maybe they will show up.
05:46Maybe it will happen.
05:47I'm lost.
05:48Yeah, we're all lost.
05:49Vector, did you talk to Balen for me?
05:51Yeah.
05:52I feel like I did a pretty good job.
05:54Of convincing her?
05:55Yeah.
05:56To here?
05:57What?
05:58Yeah.
05:59I almost feel like it's kind of low of Al to use Vector as like this vessel to creep in and like push forward with the backyard venue.
06:10I'm not working.
06:11That's a brilliant idea.
06:13And if anybody Vector knows what's going on, he's smarter than the majority of us.
06:18I'm still waiting on my payment.
06:20You're good.
06:21You're good.
06:22It's in the mail.
06:23Done.
06:24Look at that.
06:25You want me to take it from here?
06:27Yeah.
06:28I'm going to go play games.
06:30Wow.
06:31Thanks for the help, buddy.
06:33Good luck on...
06:35I don't even know what that is.
06:37It's here.
06:38Did you really tell him to put in a good stinking word about the backyard?
06:43Yeah, I did.
06:45I wanted Vector to kind of give me an idea.
06:47Have they found a place?
06:48Have they not?
06:49I don't know.
06:50I'm just in the dark.
06:51We have no idea how many people.
06:54We have no idea about timeframe.
06:57Like what month?
06:58Or did we pick today?
07:00I mean, I know it's their thing, but hopefully she incorporates Sammy and me.
07:07Since Balaam got engaged nine months ago, I'm aware of almost no plans.
07:12The doors have not been opened for me yet.
07:15I'd love even like some pictures when they're like checking out these places.
07:19Like, hey, mom, this is where we're at.
07:21Oh, I don't know.
07:23I'll ask her eventually.
07:24I'm just trying not to be so intrusive.
07:27That said, something else that came up at the sleepover is her concern about Beck's obsessions and compulsions.
07:36And the idea of like a formal diagnosis, like...
07:40For what?
07:41OCD, anxiety stuff.
07:46My immediate thought, honestly, is that he's being a boy, he's being rambunctious.
07:52I'm not too concerned about it.
07:54But having Balaam look after him is priceless to me.
07:58I think that her concern is coming from a good place because her OCD rules her life.
08:04But Beckner's so high functioning.
08:07He just let him be a boy for a while.
08:09I look at him as more gifted at this point.
08:12Yeah.
08:13Having multiple children with OCD, it's like anything else in life.
08:17It comes and goes.
08:18It falls under that like general anxiety, where if it becomes every single day it's starting to build up,
08:24then it's like, whoa, hang on a second, what's going on?
08:26Then it's a different conversation.
08:28We listen, we know when to act, but it's never ignored.
08:33Beckner's doesn't warrant attention.
08:35But Al, she's so preoccupied that these things run in families and that is smart to know.
08:40It's super important.
08:41Yeah.
08:42And if she and Colin have kids, there's a good chance they're going to need some kind of medical intervention and good health insurance.
08:48That's why it's important that that's your number one priority when it comes to searching for jobs.
08:55The importance of medical insurance, especially when you're younger,
08:59is so imperative that without it, it almost guarantees you a path to poverty.
09:06One car accident, one mishap, one medical condition, and you will now be poor.
09:16It doesn't hurt to have a conversation and throw health insurance back in there.
09:21You are going to have a wife with Tourette's syndrome, and we don't know if it's ever going to get better.
09:27They might think that we're nagging, but I think it's just a poke, like just remember this is worrying us.
09:34We don't know yet what Colin's future job will be, and I would feel a little bit more comforted if I knew he was going to do something where I felt like that they were both going to be taken care of.
09:46For the children.
09:47So I want to talk to you about something. Over the last several months, I have had a lot of stress regarding what to do with my career after the military.
10:05This allows me to be me and make the decisions that I think are right.
10:09So welcome to Airely.
10:12Oh, it's like romantic.
10:15This wedding venue feels more like us.
10:19Now, as far as pricing, it could be anywhere from $12,000 to $50,000.
10:23Oh, wait, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. What is that? Oh, that's a fat pimple. Her name's Susan.
10:42We're on our way to a wedding venue about an hour outside of D.C.
10:47And I'm so excited to get back into touring wedding venues and getting in like the wedding mood.
10:56He's thrilled.
10:58So I want to talk to you about something.
11:01Over the last several months, I have had a lot of stress regarding what to do with my career after the military.
11:09So before we reach this new wedding venue, I have something really important to tell Balin.
11:15And I'm a little nervous.
11:17I'm seriously considering real estate as a possible career option after the military.
11:27I'm not going to say that it's like shocking to me to find out that this is what you want to do,
11:32because I've known that any job you got outside of the military was not going to be...
11:38A corporate job.
11:39Yes.
11:40Yeah.
11:41I was really interested in real estate before I joined the military.
11:45I even did a course in course exams.
11:48I just never took my state licensing exam.
11:50I joined the military instead.
11:52So I've always had the interest in it.
11:55It's just never been the right time.
11:57It's a career where I can see myself going into work every single day and like being happy.
12:04Like it's not like a nine to five.
12:06I'm getting paid whenever I close on a house.
12:09So there might be like three months where I don't collect a single paycheck.
12:14What benefits does it come with, Dick?
12:17Freedom.
12:18Okay.
12:19But not the benefits that you are talking about.
12:23It's a big benefit, but it's also like a really big risk with not having actual any literal benefits.
12:30I mean, yeah, but you make enough money, hopefully, that you can afford health care.
12:37My medical bills are a lot.
12:40I'm currently covered under my parents' health insurance.
12:44However, a couple of years from now, I won't be.
12:47Like that's kind of like...
12:49So how do people do it at first?
12:51If you're barely making any money at first, how are...
12:54Paying out of pocket, how can you save?
12:57Colin is very ambitious and very hardworking,
13:01but there is a lot of uncertainties with no benefits and no health care and not a steady paycheck.
13:07So that's just scary.
13:09How would we even pay for that?
13:12I don't know.
13:13I'm still trying to figure everything out.
13:16First things first, we need to find a wedding venue.
13:21Figuring out what we like and what we don't like is so much fun.
13:26We're getting really close to when we want our wedding to happen and we don't have a venue yet.
13:32The indoor wedding venue was kind of a bust.
13:35Her dad pitched the idea of his backyard being a venue and I'm glad that we're back on the road looking at actual venues.
13:44Do you know what color suit you want to wear?
13:48Some kind of blue or...
13:50I'm going to be honest.
13:51I don't dig the blue.
13:52Because my eyes are blue.
13:54So anytime I wear blue, my eyes pop.
13:57I'm like the creator of the wedding and he's like the... whatever he is.
14:05You're more of the planner and I'm more of the decorator and that's why we're not wearing blue.
14:12Who ends up winning?
14:13Me.
14:14Yeah, there's going to be a lot of compromise.
14:15For you.
14:20I hope that we can like envision ourselves getting married here, you know?
14:24Yeah.
14:25Oh my gosh, no.
14:29This place is amazing.
14:47It's so open.
14:49It's so gorgeous.
14:50It's giving me old money vibes.
14:54This place is so pretty.
14:56It's like a mansion.
14:57Yeah.
14:58It's effing huge.
14:59Hello.
15:00How are you?
15:01Nice to meet both of you.
15:02Nice to meet you.
15:03Nice to meet you.
15:04Nice to meet you.
15:05I'm Erica.
15:06So welcome to Aeriali.
15:07So for the tour today, we're going to look at where ceremony would be.
15:11We'll move to cocktail hour.
15:12We'll look at reception.
15:13You are more than welcome to interrupt me for any questions that you have.
15:16We'll go through everything.
15:17Perfect.
15:19You're welcome.
15:20Let's go.
15:21Sweet.
15:22Oh, it's like romantic.
15:25This is so pretty.
15:27This is so pretty.
15:28That's like a little mushroom.
15:30So then we come down here and this is where ceremony would be.
15:33Oh my God.
15:35Bitch.
15:37Okay.
15:38Running.
15:39So you have multiple different spaces that you could stand.
15:43So you could stand right where you are and have the archway as the background.
15:46You could also stand over here in front of the hydranias.
15:50Oh, wow.
15:51And you would come out of the garden.
15:54I would come out of the garden like a fairy.
15:56Yeah.
15:57Like a fairy.
15:58Fairy.
15:59This wedding venue feels more like us.
16:02I feel really comfortable ticking because it's outdoors and it smells fresh.
16:08Literally.
16:09My parents' backyard smells like horse manure.
16:11This place is a step closer towards our vision and it's just like your mouth has dropped
16:15the whole time.
16:16Okay.
16:17Here's one of the most important questions.
16:18Okay.
16:19Do you guys allow animals?
16:20Absolutely.
16:21Sweet.
16:22We do.
16:23We have bunnies, deer, foxes.
16:25Do you have horses?
16:26We have, not at the moment we don't have any horses, but we do allow horses.
16:31What about, have you guys ever had alpacas?
16:33No.
16:34So there's an alpaca or a llama farm right up the road actually.
16:37Yes.
16:38For sure.
16:39It is fate.
16:41If Bailyn gets her alpacas, then I'd definitely get my horse.
16:46Only if it's attached to a carriage.
16:48Nope.
16:49This would be reception space.
16:52Maria!
16:53You can just head on in.
16:57You're welcome.
16:58Look at the lights.
16:59This is sick.
17:00This is insane.
17:01Mm-hmm.
17:02So this is the pavilion.
17:04What is great about this space is all of these windows are actually doors, so they
17:07can open up for an indoor-outdoor feel.
17:10It's so gorgeous and it has so much natural lighting.
17:14But indoor spaces can set off my ticks, so it's really comforting knowing that all the
17:18windows and doors open up.
17:21And as far as like the food.
17:23You can do buffet or plated.
17:25I'm not sure if you guys have an idea of which way you're wanting to go, but we can do
17:28either or in this space.
17:29Do you guys do like grilled cheese sliders?
17:31So we do all kinds of things.
17:33We have a late night bites list that has chicken and waffles.
17:36It has cupcake bar.
17:37It has the fry time.
17:38Do you have any ice cream?
17:40We can make ice cream.
17:41A queso fountain.
17:42I have a wedding doing a queso fountain here this August.
17:44Do you really?
17:45August.
17:46I do.
17:47I mean, when I hear the words queso fountain.
17:49Diarrhea, bitch.
17:50Sorry.
17:51I mean.
17:52Cha-cha-cha .
17:57And for our guests, where is the closest place for them to stay?
18:03Here.
18:04Like 180 people could stay here.
18:06We have 123 rooms on property.
18:07Holy .
18:08We also have two cottages.
18:09So you would actually get a complimentary room the night of your wedding.
18:13It's an all-inclusive.
18:15That's just amazing.
18:16And we haven't seen a venue like that.
18:19Now, as far as pricing, how would it be for a weekend between May and June?
18:25Pricing is a very wide range.
18:28So like a day of wedding, it could be anywhere from $12,000 to $50,000.
18:32But I do send you a proposal so you have a good idea of what it would look like.
18:37Everything about this place seems perfect.
18:40But then when the price is brought up...
18:43Your heart drops to your ass.
18:46You guys have any questions for in here?
18:48I do not.
18:49I'm just obsessed with the whole property.
18:53I can very much see myself getting married here.
18:57The price has got to be right.
18:59Why ain't it?
19:00This is what the case of that one's going to look like.
19:02Yep.
19:03You guys are getting married.
19:05You're going to eventually want children.
19:07Colin's not 100% sure what his next path is.
19:11Like a medical plan is probably the number one thing when it comes to jobs.
19:16At some point, you're going to have to trust me to be able to take care of your daughter.
19:37You got this girl!
19:40How are you?
19:41Good to see you.
19:42We're going for doggy outfits.
19:44Okay, perfect.
19:45So that's what we're doing?
19:46Basically, I need to organize them to see if they still fit them or not.
19:50Okay!
19:51These puppies have more clothes than I do.
19:54Here's Tootsie's Sunday finance.
19:56You're good Tootsie!
19:57Would you wear these at the wedding too?
20:00Huh?
20:01Hey Tootsie, does Baylen have good taste when it comes to your fashion?
20:05Fluff.
20:06Fluff.
20:07You like this dress?
20:08She goes, absolutely not mom.
20:09Fluffy!
20:10What do you think about your dress?
20:11Fluff.
20:12You like Tootsie's bathing suit?
20:13Nothing but modest in this house.
20:14Okay!
20:15This is .
20:16Colin would want me in for the wedding.
20:17I'd be like, this is it!
20:18Speaking of that, how is that going?
20:19It's going.
20:20It's going.
20:21It's going.
20:22We just got done looking at a wedding venue and it was gorgeous, but I'm just scared
20:25to see how much it's going to cost.
20:26So it might be out of our budget.
20:27So are you excited about looking at dresses, trying them on?
20:31I'm so excited, but I'm a little nervous to try them on.
20:36I need to get in shape for six months.
20:38I'm so excited about looking at dresses.
20:40I'm so excited, but I'm a little nervous to try them on.
20:43I need to get in shape for six months.
20:45I'm so excited.
20:46I'm so excited.
20:47I'm a little nervous to try them on.
20:48I need to get in shape first.
20:50My new med, which is a mood stabilizer, makes me gain weight like crazy.
20:56Two years ago, I took a medication and it made me gain 30 pounds in a month.
21:03Not 13, 30.
21:05So I'm a little bit more than concerned going down this route again.
21:09When I tell you nothing fits, my jeans don't fit, I'm surprised my sweatpants do, my bras.
21:16I don't know what's going on.
21:18I need to be able to walk down the aisle, not be rolled, okay?
21:23But having said that, I've looked at pictures online of like dresses, but I've never, haven't
21:28tried any on.
21:29Should we look at some?
21:30Let's do it.
21:31That's the thing.
21:32Let's go look at them.
21:33There's two types of style dresses that I can envision myself in.
21:38Either princess style or a boho dress, but also I change my mind too much.
21:48Okay.
21:49Cute.
21:50What do you like about this one?
21:51So I like...
21:52The ruffles at the bottom.
21:53Yeah.
21:54It's like a start to the ruffles.
21:55You want to have tiers.
21:56You want to have layers.
21:57Yes.
21:58Yes.
21:59So that's like the bottom.
22:00Okay.
22:01This is cute.
22:02I like the silk, but it's too simple.
22:05Okay.
22:06I love this.
22:07That is really pretty.
22:08I like...
22:09Do you like lace?
22:10Yes, but I like the sleeves more.
22:13My sister's going to hate me when she's going to have to button all that.
22:17Is she going to be your maid of honor, right?
22:19Love that.
22:20Yeah.
22:21I know that my mom would love to be as involved as possible.
22:25But, well, without a date and without a venue, I don't got no information to give.
22:31But I do know my mom and my sister would be very devastated if I did not take them wedding dress shopping.
22:36Would they even talk to me?
22:40Like...
22:44Pink.
22:45Like, would you be open to not having a...
22:46Okay.
22:47I could do pink, just not this color pink.
22:49What does Colin think about?
22:50Colin doesn't know what I'm wearing when I go down the aisle until I walk down the aisle.
22:55I know Colin wants everything traditional.
22:57White shoes, white veil, white dress.
22:59That sucks.
23:00I will not not be in color.
23:04Okay, that is so pretty.
23:06I like that pink.
23:07I like the train.
23:08I could dig that.
23:10Oh, yes!
23:11That's cute.
23:12This is perfect.
23:13There we go.
23:14I like the swirls.
23:15I like how big it is.
23:16It looks so fun to, like, throw around, you know?
23:18Yes!
23:19I am prepared to wear whatever dress, whatever color, whatever style dress I want in hopes
23:25that he will be jaws to the floor.
23:28I want that dress.
23:30What is he going to say if I come down the aisle in a pink, bright pink dress?
23:33What is he going to do?
23:35Say no?
23:36No.
23:37No.
23:38You won't get your waist off!
23:39I'm glad that Leela was able to watch the babies.
23:57Yeah.
23:58So we're heading to Roanoke this weekend, and I'm excited to fill my family in on the non-existent
24:06wedding planning that's going on.
24:08But we have made a little bit of progress.
24:10Chuck's bald.
24:11Marlene's a dirty, fat, filthy, horny, whore.
24:16Because of the new tick I have about Marlene, Marlene's a dirty, fat, filthy, horny, lying
24:21bitch.
24:22Whore.
24:23We think it's best that we stay in a hotel for the night.
24:30I hope I don't say that take in front of your mom, even though you told me to say it
24:35in front of your mom.
24:36Yeah.
24:37She knows that you can't control it.
24:39So look her right in the eyes, into her soul.
24:41Marlene's a dirty, fat, filthy, horny, whore, you bitch.
24:46Yep.
24:47And you say exactly that.
24:49No.
24:50I want her to get over the fear that she's having, or this anxiety that she's having,
24:56that my mom's going to, like, hate her for saying that.
24:59She knows she's not a fat, dirty, filthy whore.
25:02Horny whore.
25:03It's just, like, to have a tick about Colin's mom, it's so inappropriate.
25:09You're bald, sir!
25:12You woke up bald!
25:15Bald o'clock!
25:17Chuck is bald!
25:21Hi, Mom.
25:22Hey, Dad.
25:24Hey, Dad.
25:25I'm with Colin.
25:26We're on our way to Roanoke to hang out with the fam.
25:28Okay.
25:29Um, I just wanted to thank you again for being so insightful and compassionate and not afraid
25:37to talk to me about, about Beckner and some of the things that you saw.
25:43And it kind of prompted your dad and I to think about things.
25:47Okay.
25:48And since you and Colin are obviously in the car together, you guys are really well aware
25:54at this point what the familial genetic combination is with some of the things that are going on
26:00with the family.
26:01Mm-hmm.
26:02Mm-hmm.
26:03And you guys are getting married.
26:04You're going to eventually want children.
26:06Colin's not 100% sure what his next path is, whether it's staying in the military, most
26:11likely leaving.
26:12And I start thinking about medical insurance and I have some concerns.
26:17Mm-hmm.
26:18Like, a medical plan is probably the number one thing when it comes to jobs.
26:23It's not like, what do I want to do because I think it's fun and cool.
26:26It's, what does a medical plan look like?
26:29And then second is, will I make enough money to survive?
26:33So what does this have to do with Beckner?
26:37We're just trying to really help better equip you with, you know, an advantage compared
26:42to figuring it out on your own and making some really serious decisions that may have
26:49difficult consequences.
26:52Balen's concern about Beckner is extremely important.
26:56That's why it's up to us to explain to our kid and our fiance, this is why you need healthcare.
27:04Balen has a few more years left on my plan.
27:07A few more years from now, when you have children, your child is not on our plan.
27:12You need to do the best you can do for your family, because if not, you better fix yourself.
27:17It's not just about medical insurance for you, Balen, but it's for your kids.
27:23Can someone just get to where this is going?
27:26Because I'm so confused.
27:28Like, what is going on?
27:30Is Beckner okay?
27:31We're just watching him go.
27:33He's just a rambunctious kid.
27:34And at this point, we're just really not pursuing anything.
27:37So you guys came to the conclusion that you guys aren't taking him to the doctor?
27:42No.
27:43I think that we are, like, a safe, secure spot for him.
27:46And if it gets to a point where things seem to change, then, like, we've already been
27:51through this where we're like, uh-huh, so...
27:53Mm-hmm.
27:54I'm a little disappointed in them not taking Beckner to the doctor, but I trust them with
27:59whatever decision they make.
28:01They're parenting, not me.
28:03Well, I appreciate you guys telling me...
28:06Well, we won't keep you.
28:07We love you guys, all right?
28:08All right.
28:09Love you, too.
28:10Okay.
28:11Bye.
28:12Okay.
28:13Love you.
28:14Bye.
28:15Anywho, I know what my parents mean with health insurance.
28:19I mean, my medical files are, like, this thick.
28:21And a lot of my siblings are pretty thick, too.
28:24I mean, your dad kind of lost me when he said stability and having health care is more
28:31important than doing something that you enjoy.
28:34I know that Colin's happiness isn't in the military, but I know it's hard for my parents,
28:39especially my dad, to trust that everything's going to work out just fine.
28:43He wants to know that there's a plan in place for a stable future.
28:47It's our life, our family, it's our household that we're going to be building.
28:53We need to be able to make decisions by ourselves.
28:57And if that involves a job that doesn't provide health benefits, like real estate,
29:03then that's something that we would have to figure out on our own.
29:08I understand that Valen's parents are worried about their daughter, but we're about to get married.
29:14And at some point, you're going to have to trust me to be able to take care of your daughter.
29:20But at the end of the day, nobody's going to tell me what job I'm going to choose.
29:25Let's get up.
30:03It's just, I like talking to them a lot.
30:05Oh, I'm glad you got to come in.
30:06I'm seeing you.
30:07I mean, it's been months since they got engaged,
30:10so I'd love to just get an idea of where they're at
30:13with all of the planning.
30:14I haven't heard anything.
30:16I just, I like details.
30:17What have you guys been doing in the meantime?
30:19Well, we're...
30:20We're still looking at, uh,
30:23we're still looking at venues.
30:25Um, that was good.
30:28Pretty accurate, if I do say so myself.
30:31Oh, Lord.
30:32Um, we've went and seen a couple venues.
30:35One was indoor.
30:36Like, all indoors.
30:38High-end, like, chandeliers everywhere.
30:40Like, everything was marble.
30:42It was very echoey, like...
30:43That's why we didn't really like it,
30:45because it just, like, made her feel like
30:47she had to hold in her tics.
30:48So then we looked at this other place.
30:50It was really beautiful.
30:52It was, like, on this, like, compound.
30:53But we just don't know if it's gonna be within our price range.
30:57And then we have a cheaper option.
30:59Yeah.
31:00My parents' backyard.
31:01Oh.
31:02They brought that up.
31:03Okay.
31:04Have you thought about any around here?
31:07I haven't looked at any around here.
31:10Well, maybe you can check out some places around here on your way back.
31:14See if there's some you can look at.
31:16Yeah.
31:16That'd be awesome.
31:17Colin has a lot of older persons in his family.
31:19His granddad, his grandma,
31:21a lot of them take a lot of medication, too.
31:23So he would probably get more family members
31:25to come to his wedding if it's closer.
31:29Ride the horse.
31:31Colin wants a horse.
31:32Yeah, I do want a horse.
31:34And I want a pack up.
31:34Think about it.
31:35Just think about it.
31:36Instead of having a getaway car,
31:38that's our getaway car.
31:39The horse.
31:39We get on the horse and we ride it.
31:40I thought she didn't like horses, though.
31:41I don't.
31:42Put the horse in front of a carriage.
31:44I'm getting a carriage.
31:45Well, then you're not on the horse.
31:47You're not on the horse, though.
31:48How are you gonna get on a horse in a tux?
31:50You're gonna rip your pants.
31:51I'm not gonna wear tight pants.
31:53I don't find a way to get on that.
31:54Oh, my gosh.
31:55Even if I rip my pants.
31:56This is not gonna end well.
31:58No, it's honestly not.
32:00And that's why I just let him run.
32:01I didn't even go.
32:03He used to have this stick horse
32:04that he would ride around the house, too.
32:07But only with his gun holster.
32:09That's it.
32:11Butt naked.
32:11I'd be butt naked.
32:13My horse head on a stick.
32:14Ride the horse.
32:15Every night?
32:17No, it was any time I had to take a shower.
32:19Right before the shower.
32:20Sounds a little OCD.
32:21I would just get, like, the zoomies or whatever,
32:23and I'd be like,
32:24oh, I'm so excited for my shower,
32:25and let me go ride my horse.
32:27Ride the horse.
32:27Well, you're never that excited anymore for a shower.
32:30So it's okay.
32:31I did a lot of things when I was three and four, too.
32:33So Mom told me the other day
32:35that you weren't feeling well.
32:37Are you still feeling bad?
32:38You're bald.
32:39Yeah, that, too.
32:42Sorry.
32:43It's okay.
32:44I have a really very...
32:46Marlene's a dirty, fat, filthy, horny whore.
32:52This specific tick is really uncomfortable for me
32:56because nobody wants to be called any of those things,
32:59especially Colin's mom.
33:02I'm just going to let that out now
33:04and say you have a very extensive tick,
33:06and I don't want you to be offended.
33:10That's okay.
33:11Okay.
33:11I am not going to be offended.
33:13Okay.
33:13I think in that moment,
33:16she might have been embarrassed.
33:17Hmm.
33:17So I think she might have some inner feelings
33:21about her ticks
33:22and that she can't maybe express them fully
33:25in front of us yet.
33:26But for me, I've gotten to the point
33:28where her Tourette's is her Tourette's.
33:30I know where her heart is,
33:31and I know how she truly feels about me,
33:34so I just want her to know that it's okay.
33:36It's been eating away at me.
33:38My mom's reaction was that she just didn't care.
33:42And she wouldn't be offended,
33:43which was really, really nice.
33:44I know, but I needed to hear it from her,
33:46not from you.
33:48I'll take a bow.
33:49Take a dick.
33:50Take a dick.
33:51Take a dick.
33:55I mean, there's so many things
33:56that go into a wedding.
33:58What is the number one thing for each of you?
34:02For me, it's budget.
34:04I want the wedding to be as colorful as possible.
34:07That's just everything I can hope.
34:08I'm going to be wearing pink.
34:09Please!
34:11Please!
34:12I tried to get Colin in a pink tux,
34:14and he's like, I will not wear that.
34:15Don't blame me.
34:16I'll wear pink tux.
34:17I love pink.
34:18Yes!
34:19Can I wear shorts?
34:20Nope.
34:21Skinny jeans.
34:21Skinny jeans with holes.
34:23No, I'm not getting skinny jeans.
34:25All right.
34:26All right, well, I'm going to start
34:27cleaning up some of this stuff then.
34:28It gets me excited to know
34:29that his family is also excited.
34:33Now we're talking.
34:34Now we're talking wedding.
34:36We'll definitely find ways
34:37to get y'all involved,
34:38but I do think that we should check out a place
34:40on the way back to D.C. tomorrow,
34:42like a venue.
34:42I agree.
34:44I would like to have some involvement
34:46with Colin in the wedding,
34:47but it needs to be their day.
34:49It needs to be what they've planned,
34:50what they wanted,
34:51but I'd be more than happy
34:52to be a part of anything
34:53that they would like for me to have.
34:56Let me see what the heck's going on.
34:58Hey, Galeen.
34:59Can I talk to you real quick?
35:01Sure.
35:01I want to talk to my sister
35:06because besides Baleen,
35:08my sister really knows me the best.
35:10I have a lot of things on my mind right now
35:12with wedding planning,
35:14the job after military,
35:16and Alan's opinion
35:18that job stability
35:20is more important than happiness,
35:22which is just crazy to me.
35:24It's a lot.
35:25What's up?
35:26So, aside from the wedding,
35:41there's a lot of, like,
35:42big life decisions that I have coming up
35:44that I have to make,
35:45and I know that you are doing real estate.
35:47Yeah, yeah, yeah.
35:48I've always been super interested in real estate,
35:51so I wanted to ask you,
35:53how's it going?
35:54What's your thoughts about it?
35:56Yeah.
35:56I mean, for me,
35:57I have a full-time job,
35:59and I do real estate part-time.
36:01What are you thinking?
36:03It would be a full-time gig.
36:05Okay.
36:05Why real estate?
36:07Because you could go months
36:08without having a paycheck,
36:11and that's definitely something
36:12that you have to
36:13not only financially prepare for,
36:15but mentally prepare for.
36:17Yeah.
36:18So.
36:18It is scary to think that
36:20I couldn't make a single paycheck
36:22for an entire year, so.
36:24Yeah, there is a risk,
36:25but if this happens,
36:27I'm going to give real estate
36:28everything in my body
36:29for it to succeed.
36:31Yeah, I just, like,
36:32had a lot of outside noise
36:33and pressure.
36:34Who's causing the outside noise?
36:38That would be
36:39Alan, her father.
36:41Okay.
36:41I think that as long as it benefits
36:44you and Balin,
36:46that's all that matters.
36:48Okay.
36:49Just shut out the noise.
36:51They're creating a life together.
36:54I think the outside noise
36:56can create a lot of distraction.
36:59It's not my parents,
37:01it's not her parents,
37:02it's their life.
37:05I appreciate that.
37:06Of course.
37:06I love that my family
37:08has my back
37:09and I know that
37:11I'm going to regret it
37:12if I don't even just try.
37:14Simply because it's something
37:16that I've been wanting to do
37:17for a very long time
37:18and it's very,
37:20very important
37:21to have
37:22Balin believe in me.
37:24For the longest time
37:29It's been me and you
37:33I won't touch me right here
37:38I know the look on your face
37:41Don't back, don't back away
37:44Cause I don't want to lose you now
37:48This is country roads right here.
37:54So we're still waiting
37:55on the early budget proposal
37:57and right now
37:59it's the one to beat
38:00but today we are
38:01taking my mom's suggestion
38:03to look at a venue
38:05closer to Roanoke
38:06and we found a beautiful location
38:08that would fit us in
38:10last minute for a tour
38:11right before we head home.
38:13I'm so excited.
38:16I just hope
38:17I hope it's in our price range
38:19because
38:19Oh my gosh.
38:22Look at this.
38:24Oh my gosh.
38:30Look at this side.
38:31Oh my God.
38:32It's a barn.
38:37Oh my God.
38:38I don't think we need
38:38to look for anything else.
38:41This is crazy.
38:43Home suite.
38:44Let's get eloped today.
38:46I'm in a dress.
38:48I don't see a horse
38:51getting up here.
38:52That's all I got to see.
38:53What do you mean you don't see a horse?
38:54I don't see a horse getting up.
38:55I'm not taking a horse
38:56and carriage down that road.
38:59This is a private tour, right?
39:01Yeah.
39:02Yeah.
39:02Where are they at?
39:05Who is that?
39:07That's my mom and my sister.
39:08I asked them to join us.
39:09You didn't want to share
39:12any of that with me
39:13until they arrived?
39:14I really want my family
39:18to be involved
39:18in the wedding planning.
39:20Why couldn't you tell me
39:21they were coming?
39:22Because I wanted them to...
39:24Hi.
39:25Hi, guys.
39:26So I invited my mom
39:29and my sister
39:30to look at this venue
39:31last minute
39:31because I don't know
39:33when they're going to be able
39:33to help us out
39:34in the future.
39:36Hey.
39:36Hey.
39:37I always wonder
39:38why we were waiting out here.
39:39Oh, thanks for having us.
39:40Yeah.
39:41I don't understand
39:41why Colin couldn't just tell me
39:43that he invited his mom
39:44and his sister on this tour.
39:46Don't get me wrong.
39:47I love Colin's family.
39:49I just know that my mom
39:50has been dying
39:52to be a part of wedding planning
39:54and the last person
39:56I want to hurt
39:56is my mom.
39:57I feel ambushed.
40:03Valeria!
40:04It's margarita time.
40:06Ew.
40:07I've never needed
40:08to drink more.
40:09I've done with you.
40:11So we went
40:12and saw a wedding venue
40:14that we decided
40:15last minute to see
40:16and Khalid and Marlene
40:18surprised me there by coming.
40:21So your dad and I had
40:22like this little idea
40:23It's the last little idea
40:25you had.
