00:00For the Marlins they hand the
00:01ball to Pablo Lopez it'll be his
00:0319th start of the season.
00:04Of course last time he faced the
00:06Braves just one pitch figures to
00:07go a little deeper today open
00:09has been a bit taxed of late.
00:11Yeah there have been a few days
00:13over the course of the last four
00:15or five where it's been four
00:17innings from one pitcher out of
00:18the bullpen but a good start for
00:20Pablo he gets his first strike
00:21out this afternoon and there's
00:23one away Freeman two for four
00:25yesterday with a home run has
00:26had a big series against the
00:29Marlins three for seven couple of
00:31home runs 0 to pitch a swing and a
00:33miss he got him on a change up so
00:35six pitches in back to back K's for
00:37Pablo Lopez forget the history
00:40against the Braves we're living in
00:42the present Ozzie Albies in this
00:44series two hits nine at bats has an
00:46RBI double and Pablo gets the
00:50strikeout wasn't immaculate but it
00:51was still pretty good strikes out
00:53the side in the first sad news
00:55yesterday of Ronald Acuna Jr's
00:57season-ending injury as Chisholm
00:58wearing the yellow batting gloves to
01:00honor his buddy Ronald Acuna Jr.
01:02today change up tipped into the glove
01:04of Kevin Smith a first-inning
01:06opportunity for the Marlins with
01:07Jesus Aguilar at the plate first
01:09couple of free passes issued by
01:11Anderson his 0-1 pitch coming and
01:15Aguilar sends one out to left field
01:17that's deep that is a three-run first
01:22inning home run Jesus Aguilar first
01:26ball of the day to actually put in
01:27play by either side and it's a three
01:30run shot now partner wasn't in play
01:33for a long time and they got out of
01:35here in about two seconds that left
01:38field wall second home run of the
01:40season for Aguilar here at Lone Depot
01:43Park starting to find that home run
01:44stroke and now Sanchez out toward
01:50left center field the Braves had
01:52Garcia playing nearly in the corner
01:55and that one falls in for a knock now
01:58Roa still just one out and Miggie
02:02finds a hole on the right side
02:05Sanchez will stop at second and the
02:07Marlins are really taking advantage
02:10of Anderson here in this first
02:11inning and he chased another one
02:17high fastballs take care of Pablo
02:19Lopez but a three-run homer by
02:21Jesus Aguilar gives Miami an early
02:23lead saw the cutters on the curve
02:25ball first the four-seamer in the
02:27changeup now he is four for four
02:32today he has struck out every brave
02:34to this point down the last three on
02:36the changeup that's how locked in he
02:38is right now Pablo's got a 395 ERA
02:42and nine starts one two swing and a
02:43miss how about that five batters in
02:46five strikeouts for Lopez
02:500-2 to Swanson swing and a miss six up
02:53six down all K's for Pablo Lopez
03:00two and two and a called strike three
03:03that's the Marlins record right there
03:05seven in a row to start the ball game
03:08for Pablo Lopez now that change has
03:11been so effective that hitters are
03:14starting to guess already 0-2 on Kevin
03:17Smith here's the pitch swing and a miss
03:20and Pablo Lopez has tied a major league
03:22record eight consecutive strikeouts to
03:26start a ball game absolutely dialed in
03:30this afternoon you give him a lead I
03:32mean he's just gone on the attack
03:34since the minute this game started his
03:37tempo has been outstanding his pitch
03:39execution right on point
03:44one ball two strikes and here it comes
03:49called strike three major league
03:53record
03:53Pablo Lopez nine strikeouts in a row to
03:58start the day Sanchez at third Rojas at
04:03first one two on the way to Sandy
04:06Leone and that's a ground ball right
04:08side Alves gets to it gets it to first
04:11then an RBI ground out makes it for
04:13nothing this guy's playing catch at
04:15ninety two and eighty eight looks
04:17smooth looks fluid it's right where
04:20he wants it to be not that one
04:22though is the Braves have their
04:23first hit who better than Freddie
04:26Freeman to break up the perfect game
04:28bid that is his 14th double and
04:31there's a start for Atlanta one on
04:33one out as Ozzie Albee's batch for
04:35the second time sharply hit and
04:41through for a base hit Freeman's
04:42going to get the green light Cooper
04:44loads up here comes his throw it is
04:47late and Ozzie moves up on the
04:49throw to Sandy Leone Ozzie Albee 61
04:54RB eyes in the Braves right back
04:56it's for one even though I know he
04:58struck out the first nine it felt
05:00like eight nothing the way this game
05:01was going but off the end of the
05:06bat into right center field that's
05:07down for a hit the Braves are back
05:09in the game it's four to two what
05:13you do is you protect Coop you
05:15protect Aguilar from you know too
05:17many opportunities that I only you
05:18know avoid the double plays what I'm
05:21saying sure it's one way to get to
05:26the beginning that is a hot shot
05:28pass Riley will get all the way to
05:30the wall Marte comes in to score
05:32Garrett Cooper cruises into second
05:34base and the Marlins get one back on
05:36the double by Coop all sixty two
05:38Aguilar 61 I'll be 61 but let's
05:41amend that Cooper is going to get
05:42green light around third here comes
05:45the throw from center it's off the
05:47mark another RBI for Jesus Aguilar
05:50and the Marlins answer back with two
05:52more and lead it six to two and a line
06:00drive caught by Ozzie Albies who
06:02timed his leap perfectly showing the
06:05ups a good job by Ozzie because it
06:08looked like it was hit harder than it
06:09was Chip and Matzik got in on him and
06:11Ozzie did a good job of waiting to
06:13time that jump and he has struck out
06:17and he has walked and he unloads to
06:22left center deepest part of the
06:25ballpark and it is gone Dansby
06:28Swanson with a two out home run
06:30number fourteen for the Braves
06:32shortstop his great series
06:35continues that's his fifth hit in
06:37Miami and the Braves are down three
06:39now that's down the right field
06:42line that'll wake up a few pushes
06:45in the ballpark it gets caught under
06:47the wall Sanchez on his way to
06:48second but he is not going to stop
06:50there on his way to third with a
06:52two out triple Biggie hanging tough
06:55it'll be a three two pitch and it's
06:57off the glove of Freeman Albies gets
06:59to it throw to first is not time and
07:01a real score Miguel Rojas with a
07:05hot shot to first off the glove of
07:07Freeman four game hitting streak will
07:10be carried into the break for
07:11Swanson he's eight for sixteen in
07:13that stretch and Dansby hits another
07:19one a country mile he's got a two
07:21homer game might want to rethink
07:26this all star break there I was
07:27going to say Miami trying to finish
07:30off the first half with a win and
07:32they will do just that it's a
07:35Marlins win Anthony Bender gets
07:38the strikeout and it ends the way
07:40that it starts Pablo Lopez setting
07:42a major league record nine
07:44consecutive strikeouts to begin the
07:46ballgame.
