00:00Welcome back folks to a brand new video you might think a large country like the
00:13United States is the most visited in the world but you'd be wrong France takes
00:19that honor and in 2019 alone 90 million international visitors traveled to the
00:26country so just imagine Paris at the time so you've seen Rome seen London so let's
00:33take a look at 10 beautiful places to visit in Paris
00:39number one the Eiffel Tower
01:00the Eiffel Tower or as the French call it a tower I found to one of the world's most
01:06recognizable landmarks an absolute must see and a tower that was designed as a
01:13centerpiece in 1889 at the World Fair in Paris it was meant to commemorate the
01:20centennial of the French Revolution and to show off France's modern mechanics
01:25proves all on the world stage so if you're looking for the best view you
01:32must visit at Trocadero stop you'll be able to get that perfect picture of you
01:39and the Eiffel Tower in the background now most of the tour buses stop right here
01:45so it's pretty hard to miss
01:50one thing you must do though and hopefully the vendor is still there is it is a
01:56little place where they sell crepes freshly made with either chocolate or
02:03Nutella which I wouldn't advise but you have the background one of the most
02:10beautiful sights in the world with delicious food hard to ignore
02:16number two
02:22Palais Garnier
02:27now if you ask a lot of people in France they will tell you that pound for
02:36pound this is easily one of the most impressive venues that you will visit in
02:41the city inside the Palais Garnier you will be able to see the extravagance and
02:48the real attention to detail of the building such as the gold trim and the
02:53beautiful architecture now one of the most impressive parts of the opera is the
02:58grand foyer with gold leafing and stunning mosaics and it's where you would
03:03even chat with other people during the intermissions of the theater
03:09so overall the Palais Garnier is really a remarkable building
03:19number three the Louvre
03:24it's the world's largest and most visited museum located in the heart of Paris a
03:31magnificent museum that's home to over 38,000 works of art and artifacts some of
03:38which date back to even the prehistoric times
03:43so you can imagine with over nine million visitors just in 2019 alone it's
03:50one of the busiest places to visit in Paris which means you really got to do
03:56your thinking a must is to book online in advance and of course to go as early as
04:04possible doing this you will ensure that you will get to see as much as you can in
04:11several hours and as I mentioned it's that big you won't be able to see
04:16everything but what you will you'll be pleasantly surprised
04:21number four
04:44Montmartre
04:49now once a separate village Montmartre has been part of Paris since 1860
04:55its winding lanes its many trees and picturesque hillsides still make it seem
05:01like it's a place of art
05:03now this is easily my favorite neighborhood you can stroll past the many
05:09cafes and cabarets and you can imagine the artists musicians and the writers even
05:15the poets who made it their home over a hundred years ago when rents were still
05:20cheap now the most famous site is the gleaming white basilica of the Sacre Coeur
05:27built in Italian Byzantine style and visible from most points of Paris you do
05:35get a wonderful view in that area so as you can imagine the tourists often pack
05:42the area around Sacre Coeur and the Moulin Rouge theater in Pigalle but most
05:48actually interesting miss the parts of the neighborhood so make sure you go
05:53actually behind and you will see many other sites that you may have missed
06:12number five Luxembourg Gardens
06:17without a doubt one of the best places to visit in Paris
06:21it's free so that's a bonus in itself and it showcases a vast array of beauty
06:28plants and blooming flowers
06:31firstly make sure you see the stunning fountain which was built in 1620 on a
06:39summer's day it's well worth it the garden itself covers over 23 hectares and it
06:46features over a hundred statues monuments and of course fountains but it's a place
06:53that's known for a relaxing stroll so after a hard day of searching and
06:58wandering all these beautiful attractions this could be the perfect halfway stop
07:02and since you will find small benches scattered all around the gardens it will
07:08be common to see the locals taking a break and relaxing in the summer so with
07:14gardens like this it's easy to see why Parisians love their city
07:35the palace of Versailles
07:42located around 20 kilometers southwest of the center of Paris the magnificent palace
07:48of Versailles hands down one of the most popular attractions in Europe
07:55it's also UNESCO court heritage site and a fine example of 18th century French art
08:02now the palace was once the principal residence of the French kings and today it's still revered
08:13for its opulent royal apartments and its extravagant features such as the ceremonial hall of mirrors
08:20the gardens are scattered with fountains canals and flower beds and groves so it's the gardens here which are a simple wonder for you to explore
08:35the palace is easily one of the most popular places that people visit in Paris so needless to say it's wise of you to book the tickets online
08:47number seven
09:02Zen River Paris
09:06now this is another Paris favorite
09:08which is taking a nice cruise along the river zen
09:12now I particularly think you're going to really enjoy this one especially the boats at night
09:21or even during the day in the summer
09:24that way you can enjoy the sun or watch the light show on the Eiffel Tower
09:31so when traveling to Paris especially when it's your first time in the city
09:36you should book a river cruise
09:39now there are many kinds of boat trips that you can book
09:43you can cruise up and down the river on a tour boat to see Paris' most beautiful historic buildings and its bridges
09:50all from a unique perspective to get that experience of the city in a much different way
09:57it's a different way
10:26Next up is the Arc de Triomphe.
10:34Hard to miss, the massive Arc de Triomphe is one of the most recognizable Paris attractions,
10:41commissioned in 1806 by Napoleon, to honor his army's victories across Europe.
10:48The Arc de Triomphe is surrounded by a busy rotary traffic, where there's 12 major streets,
10:54including the western end of the Champs d'Elysees.
10:59Now although you can easily see it at a distance, you will get the best views and experience when you're close to it.
11:06You can also get a ticket and climb the stairs to the observation deck, which is at the top, for that wonderful 360 degree views of Paris.
11:33You have to wonder why countless writers, painters, even screenplay producers, have all been enchanted by this city alone, called Paris.
11:53Even the Parisian cafes, which are the social lifelines of the people, where they come to meet their friends, their business partners, or even just to sit alone to enjoy a coffee.
12:09With wide boulevards that encompass even wider pavements, the streets of Paris provide that perfect backdrop for anyone to sit and enjoy a golden cup of coffee.
12:24It's a great city to wander around and experience all that it has.
12:34So go inside, get a feel for the place before you sit and just enjoy where you are.
12:41Because in itself, that's the reason why you would go to Paris.
12:45Just to experience what everyone else does.
12:47And finally, number 10, Musée d’Ossé.
13:11The Musée d'Ossé is one of the largest museums in Europe, and features mainly French art dating back from 1848 to 1914,
13:24home to the world's greatest collection of Impressionist and post-Impressionist classics, including works of Monet and Renoir.
13:32It's housed in a beautiful old building, along the Zen, and there is plenty to see here.
13:40Perhaps even too much.
13:43But wander through the galleries that interest you, and simply move along.
13:49For me, this is hands down the best for overall experience.
13:53And there you have it, folks.
14:07That was Paris, one of the best cities that you can visit in Europe.
14:12Yes, not every single attraction will be on this list, but if it's your first time to the city,
14:17these 10 will definitely give you the best start.
