00:00Dance is about sad brides, and you're giving me nothing.
00:02I know you all know someone who's gone through a breakup before,
00:05so pull from that if you have to.
00:07Audrey, what?
00:08Nothing stops.
00:11Your advanced small group winners are something old,
00:15something new, something new, something new.
00:18Audrey, you had a little meltdown.
00:20Well, maybe if her teacher wouldn't have made her upset.
00:24I'm so disappointed, didn't you?
00:25Tammy, I do a lot of things that I could be
00:27disappointed in you for it, too, including letting her kid get away with it,
00:30and that's why she doesn't learn.
00:31Tammy's days of being exempt from everything are numbered.
00:44I'm up to here with Audrey and Tammy.
00:46It's been constant distractions.
00:48I want to just keep things calm, keep things cohesive,
00:52get through this season so there's no more disruption to this team,
00:55and they don't have any more chaos.
00:58The problem is Tammy doesn't think Audrey does any wrong,
01:02dance-related or not.
01:04I swear.
01:05Hopefully, Audrey being on probation again this week
01:07will put a stop to Tammy's pattern of causing a huge drama fest
01:11every time Audrey isn't the lead or she gets a dance correction.
01:15I mean, the week she quit, she wasn't the lead,
01:18and I don't think that's a coincidence.
01:20I think the best thing for Audrey is to be here and focus on dance.
01:24We just need to say a prayer that we survived these last three weeks before nationals.
01:29Woo! The big trophy!
01:32It's so big.
01:33How do you feel about, like, how the competition ended with me and Kaylee kind of getting into an argument?
01:39I don't like to see you guys fight because that can, like, mess up, like, my relationship with them.
01:43Audrey, your relationship with them will never change no matter what.
01:48Glow and Kaylee love you.
01:49Even if I had a fight with them or are falling out, their love for you would never change,
01:53so I don't want you ever to think that.
01:55Okay.
01:56I like that my mom defends me, but sometimes I think it's best that, like, you just don't say anything at all.
02:04Ashley!
02:05Welcome back, Ashley!
02:08Um, I'm really excited to be back in the studio, especially because I was sick last week,
02:12but I was just a little bit confused because when I see Audrey,
02:15the last that we heard is that, um, she quit the team.
02:18Okay, go stretch.
02:20It's just like, it's gonna stop.
02:23Your hair's, like, fly a ways.
02:24I don't care.
02:25Use this.
02:27No, that will hurt.
02:28All right.
02:29Ashley.
02:30I'm trying to stretch your form.
02:32Hey, you can stretch.
02:34I can do it while you're stretching.
02:37Let me get this one on the side.
02:40I don't like you.
02:41Ashley, stop.
02:42Hey, everyone!
02:43Time for pyramid.
02:44I already did it.
02:45I don't know.
02:46I don't know.
02:47I don't know.
02:48I don't know.
02:49I don't know.
02:50I don't know.
02:51I don't know.
02:52I don't know.
02:53How are we all feeling?
02:56Good.
02:57I'm not sure if the three of you who were missing last week heard,
03:00but Audrey's back, and we got our sixth group win in a row.
03:07The further this winning streak goes, the scarier it kind of gets, right?
03:12We have the potential to have an undefeated season,
03:15but I still haven't seen this group dance to the best of their ability.
03:20On that note, pyramid.
03:26Smiley.
03:30Ashlyn.
03:36Lily.
03:37Lily.
03:38You were all sick last week, and you didn't dance.
03:41And last on the bottom row.
03:46Audrey.
03:47You danced well.
03:49Still on probation.
03:50You had a little meltdown, and you threw off the group.
03:54You could have just taken a minute to calm down, focus on the task at hand, which is go on stage.
04:01Either that, or you should have politely removed yourself.
04:04Not disrupt the kids right before they went on.
04:07At the end of the day, we are setting them up to be people that can work professionally.
04:12That's the point.
04:13Well, she was upset, and I'm just asking that you are a little sensitive to your little sister,
04:18who is going through a really hard time in your life.
04:20And I want you to think about your family and how hard it is going through something difficult.
04:26Yeah, Tammy, everybody goes through hard things in their life.
04:29I was a kid when my parents separated too, but I still remained professional and kept my composure when I was at dance.
04:36Audrey has been in my life for a decade now.
04:39I know that Audrey has what it takes to become a real professional dancer, but I'm trying to get it to sink in with her,
04:45that the older you get, the harder you have to train.
04:48And she's not training more, she's training less.
04:50And the reason for that is Tammy, with all the distractions that she's caused.
04:54Tammy needs to get out of my way, get out of her daughter's way,
04:57so that I can help her become the professional dancer that she says she wants to be.
05:00I can't understand how you can come down on her,
05:04because her reaction to bringing up something that is very awful for her in her life right now.
05:09This is where she should be loved and supported.
05:13And she most certainly is, which is why she wants to be here, I think.
05:16Audrey, you're allowed to be upset, but if I can help you learn to focus that emotion into your dance while remaining professional, you'll be unstoppable.
05:25Your mom's not getting that point.
05:28It makes sense why they would want me on probation.
05:31It makes sense why they want to, like, test me for how I'm going to react to things, and I get it now.
05:37Me and my mom are just going through a lot, and I think it's, like, my right if it gets talked about,
05:42or, like, my mom's right, I guess.
05:44But she's the one who keeps bringing it up, and I think that's, like, the problem.
05:49We're moving on. On the second row.
05:54Bellatrix.
05:56The emotion was less than desirable.
06:01Next on the second row.
06:04Layla.
06:07Layla.
06:08I need to dive up.
06:09You did. You moved up a little bit.
06:10Layla, you did a good job in the group.
06:12You did a great job on your solo.
06:14Sometimes it's just not those judges' cup of tea.
06:20Last on the second row.
06:28Gina.
06:29Gina.
06:30You haven't been a standout emotionally, and I think that you're really getting there.
06:37Finally.
06:38You did a great job.
06:40I'm back once again, baby.
06:42On the top of the pyramid.
06:45Mia.
06:48We had a first place win by Mia.
06:51That was one of the best solo performances we've had on this team.
06:53And you performed ballet steps that you've never even heard of or done in your life.
06:58I'm so happy that I'm on top of the pyramid again because it's where I belong.
07:04Come on.
07:09We're in week seven of this season, and I'm looking to see who is going to be dancing at Nationals.
07:17Nationals is three weeks away, and with everything that's been going on with this team, I haven't even had a chance to think that far ahead.
07:24So starting this week, I really need to keep my eyes on all of these girls to see who is ready to have a featured role at Nationals and who is capable of helping Project X win its first national championship.
07:37This week, we will have two solos.
07:40First solo is going to Ashlyn.
07:45Your solo is called the Declaration of Independence.
07:52Second solo is going to Lily.
07:56Lily, your solo is called the Flower Queen.
07:59Lily has had a rough few weeks.
08:02I wanted to be proud of myself.
08:05You should be proud of yourself.
08:07And it has been disappointing that Ashlyn hasn't lived up to that performance at Nationals last season.
08:12But I'm looking to see who can have a breakout performance and handle the pressure of Nationals.
08:19So maybe they're the ones.
08:21The two of you will be competing against each other, and this might be your only chance.
08:27This week's group is called Ballet Boys.
08:32We're having a little bit of a redo.
08:35Redemption week.
08:37Gina and Bellatrix will be dancing on point.
08:39Audrey, you will be the lead of the ballet dance.
08:44And you will be on point, too.
08:47And Kaylee is doing the choreography.
08:52Right now, you are on probation.
08:54I want to make it very clear, yes, you are the lead.
08:57Because we deserve to see you fight for your life to be on this team.
09:01Last season, I choreographed a ballet number, and I was really excited about it.
09:04It was going to be great.
09:05And then my lead, Audrey, did not make it on stage because she injured her foot backstage.
09:11Want an ambulance?
09:12I want someone now.
09:14I'm a little bit pissed.
09:15I think it was her easy way of getting out of it because she was nervous.
09:18And it was just the perfect excuse.
09:22Your job this week is to go lead this team to a ballet victory.
09:30I think Audrey does know that she is so much better than other girls in the group.
09:36So we want to challenge her because I think that will keep her more focused on dance and not about what's going on around her.
09:43Well, she's definitely going to be challenged this week.
09:46The whole dance is really hard technically, but especially Audrey's part.
09:50You guys ready?
09:51Let's get stretched.
09:52You guys get out.
09:55Do not come in there.
09:58Get your hands in.
10:02Here we are again, having to really count on Audrey.
10:06And it seems like you're sitting here like everybody's friend, everything's hunky-dory.
10:10I feel like you've done a really good job of like making me forget what happened because I haven't seen you in a while and I am happy to see you.
10:18But the last time I saw you, you were the one who was accusing us of stuff that like honestly heart my feelings.
10:24What I don't want to do is walk my child into an environment where we're not being welcomed back with open and loving arms.
10:33We love Audrey. We've been saying that time and time again.
10:36It's honestly upsetting to us that you're having this perspective.
10:39It was hurtful.
10:41Yeah, I know. I came at you guys really defensive and I was hoping for a little grace because Audrey's 14 and, you know, going through stuff.
10:50I don't know who she thinks she is. All of us have done nothing but support her and Audrey.
10:59I mean, I think that we have been empathetic and supportive of you and all we want is the best for you and Audrey.
11:04But it's just so hard because this has happened like multiple times over multiple years, like even before the divorce.
11:10I just want you to know how your actions affected you guys. I know it. I'm really sorry. I feel awful. I love you guys and I love your children. I'm sorry. I don't know what else I can say. You guys can keep telling me what I did wrong and I know I did wrong. I know I am wrong.
11:28Tammy gets overwhelmed by any little thing. And when she's doing the waterworks game, it's hard for me to have a conversation. But the problem is we can never hold her accountable if she's always crying. It makes us look like the bad guys. This is emotional manipulation at its finest.
11:46I'm sorry. I feel for Tammy having to deal with the repercussions of what the other moms are feeling. But I think Tammy is getting way too much for this. Audrey needed space and she did what she thought was right. There's just a lot going through her head and I know she feels guilty. I think there's a little bit of regret. But at the end of the day, Tammy's going to do what Tammy's going to do.
12:16Well, it's so fun to be back. One big happy family. Can I just ask one silly question? What the f*** is hunky-dory?
12:29For the rest of this week, you can't rely on your mom for anything. You get to do it all on your own.
12:34I'm just a kid. How's this called? Dance moms, not just a daughter. I want to prove myself to Ms. Glow. I want to get a solo at the National. It just gets, like, a little stressful.
12:43Can't you nail this solo with everything else going on and all the pressure?
12:47What? Why are you kidding me?
12:51I'm failing so freaking much to just kick us off.
12:55More boys, have fun.
12:56This dance has so many things right now.
12:59I feel like I'm about to go to work.
13:00The group dance this week is called Ballet Boys. It is inspired by the movie Mad Max. You will be portraying post-apocalyptic soldiers who will go to any length to survive.
13:19There's going to be a lot going on. It's going to be intense. It's going to be strong.
13:22And I know Kaylee well enough to know she's going to make this really, really hard because ballet is either right or it is wrong.
13:2999% right is wrong.
13:32Kaylee is a phenomenal ballet teacher, and I'm happy to have her taking the lead on choreography because she knows what hard work it takes to get to the top.
13:42People who don't grow up and do all this, they have no concept that ballet is so much harder than other forms.
13:49Like, they have no idea that this is super impressive.
13:52I mean, I can imagine wearing those pointe shoes for an extended amount of time. It starts to hurt your feet.
13:581, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
14:028, not 9.
14:03I have a reputation in the ballet community, and last year I set a number on these girls.
14:08That was supposed to be a really big moment for me as a choreographer, and the version that ended up going on stage was a complete disaster and nothing I was proud of at all.
14:19Audrey injured herself right before she went on stage when she was practicing her scorpion.
14:23They all had to learn new parts, and Bellatrix stepped in, but the version of the scorpion that she did on stage, a lot of people do on stage.
14:31But Audrey is totally advanced enough to be able to do this scorpion on pointe, but with all the distractions this season, she has lost a lot of technique and a lot of flexibility, so it's really going to be hard for her to get this.
14:42We're not thinking about our technique as much as we can.
14:44Your body was going all over the place, and I think that you need to practice the scorpion at home as much as you can.
14:49You have to be better than you've ever danced on this team, or ever.
14:53I think this is definitely your most important performance on this team, by far.
14:56I'm really excited to have this challenge this week because I have to do a scorpion on pointe, and as you get older, like, you grow and your muscles start to, like, get harder to, like, stretch.
15:05So I'm going to have to work really, really hard if I'm going to want to even come close to doing a scorpion.
15:10But I do really look up to Miss Kaylee, and I want to make her proud, knowing that she's the one who basically taught me ballet.
15:16What?
15:24Audrey, you have to stop.
15:26It's not here, and then crash down, and then try to pod right after.
15:29Wherever you're going to step, step.
15:31Oh, yes.
15:32Don't.
15:33I really got to shoot when I come.
15:36I'm sorry.
15:36So girls on pointe, they need to ice their feet tonight.
15:39It hurts so much.
15:41I can't feel the top of my shell.
15:42Okay.
15:44Let's get out.
15:45We're done.
15:45Take it, go, go, take it, I'ma go.
15:50Do you want me to help you and stretch?
15:52No.
15:53Are you getting annoyed now?
15:54Stop asking so many questions.
15:57We're the only ones here.
15:58I'm not going to sit here in silence.
15:59Just talk to the wall or something.
16:01Hi, wall.
16:02How do you think your solo is going to be today, wall?
16:05Wall doesn't have a solo.
16:08I feel like she's just, like, annoying me to annoy me.
16:10I mean, the wall doesn't talk back.
16:13Yeah, the wall doesn't talk at all.
16:15Good morning.
16:17Solo week.
16:18Our favorite week.
16:21Ash, Lily, Corinne, Lisa.
16:24Come on in.
16:27Hello.
16:28Good morning, Miss Flo.
16:29Hi, ladies.
16:31We're going to start solo rehearsal.
16:32Two of you are going head to head,
16:35so you're going to be against each other.
16:36Both of you have potential to win,
16:38but I expect one and two.
16:41My expectations for Lily and Ashlyn
16:44are really high this week
16:46because they each have their own set of unique skills
16:49that are fascinating to watch.
16:51But neither one of them
16:52has had a breakout performance this season.
16:54I think a big part of that
16:55is because of the way their moms affect them.
16:57All right, so, Corinne,
16:59I don't want you dumping any of your anxiety
17:01on Lily this week, okay?
17:04Ashlyn, does your mother drive you crazy sometimes?
17:06Yeah, like, she just kind of, like,
17:09says, like, things over and over again,
17:11and she tries to be funny,
17:12but it's just, like, kind of annoying.
17:17She's, like, really annoying.
17:22She hasn't said a word.
17:23She thinks she's helping, but she's not.
17:26She's making things worse.
17:29I think she probably...
17:30I don't know why you're about to start laughing
17:31because nothing's funny.
17:32I'm not laughing.
17:33I can see her in the mirror.
17:35Calm down.
17:38Can you stop laughing?
17:40Wow.
17:41Your mom hasn't done a thing
17:43since she walked into this room.
17:44When you're, like, a teenager,
17:45like, you're kind of, like, growing up,
17:47and, like, you have, like, a lot of emotions,
17:49and, like, sometimes when, like,
17:50your mom's, like, bugging you,
17:51it kind of makes you mad and stuff like that,
17:53and, like, you're kind of, like, very sensitive
17:54because it's hard being a teenager.
17:56So this is what I need you to do.
17:58I want you to go make a list
18:00of all the things your mom does to annoy you, okay?
18:03Lisa, I want you to make a list
18:06of all the things you do for Ashlyn.
18:07We'll come back in, and we'll talk about them, okay?
18:10All right.
18:11Okay.
18:12Ashlyn, fun.
18:13We're gonna have fun.
18:18Well, you're gonna be the flower queen.
18:20Everybody's like, oh, she's beautiful, she's beautiful.
18:23But underneath, there's this sinister, dark character.
18:27So it's all about maybe this internal struggle
18:29of the good side of you and the evil side of you.
18:32So you need to think about that
18:33when the music turns dark.
18:35Does that make sense?
18:36I really, really like my dance.
18:37I'm, like, still, like, a little unsure about this.
18:39Like, I kind of understand it,
18:41but I want to prove myself to Ms. Glow.
18:43I want to get a solo at Nationals.
18:44It just gets, like, a little stressful.
18:46Keep everything strong, even if it's easy.
18:49It's got to have energy behind it.
18:51Karinny, you have to not bother Lily today.
18:54Like, stay away from Lily
18:56because she feeds up your energy.
18:59Is this anxiety or happy tears?
19:01Anxiety.
19:03Dude.
19:05She's your own worst enemy.
19:07You cannot lose your mind this week.
19:09I know.
19:10I mean, her last solo, she forgot it on stage.
19:16I forgot the ending.
19:17I'm just going soft.
19:19We're so close to Nationals.
19:21You can't do that again.
19:22You're great when you're in your comfort zone,
19:24but I want to see more of the character now.
19:26Make every step matter.
19:27This is her shot.
19:29This is a really big deal.
19:30This isn't like, oh, it's just one dance.
19:31It's not.
19:32Glow's going to use these performances
19:33to help her choose who she wants
19:35to represent the team at National.
19:37I'll do my best to hold back my anxiety
19:39from stressing Lily out,
19:41but if I think that she needs
19:42that extra push and motivation,
19:43I'm her mom and I'm going to give it to her.
19:45Can she nail this solo
19:47with everything else going on
19:48and all the pressure?
19:50Dance mom Corrine.
19:51It's a little intense.
19:58I'll be scared of you
19:59if you were my dance mom.
20:00I don't think I'm scary.
20:02I'm fun.
20:02She embarrassed me.
20:20She's cringy.
20:23What are you doing?
20:25Do you guys want to help me write some things?
20:27Yes, yes, yes.
20:27Okay, so she can say
20:29she always says dude a lot to you.
20:31And she's just unfunny.
20:33Oh, she's very clueless.
20:34Oh, yeah.
20:35Put like a bunch of exclamation points after that
20:37because that's the biggest one.
20:39The main one.
20:40The main one.
20:40I know there's a lot of things
20:41that my mom does to annoy me,
20:43but I know that there was this many things.
20:45My friend just kept on writing.
20:48Hey, Ashley, Lisa, let's go.
20:50Oh, that's a long paper.
20:54How many pages did you got?
20:56Four.
20:57How many do you have?
20:59One.
21:00I realized I had so much stuff.
21:02Lay it on me, kid.
21:03Let's hear what you got.
21:05She does weird dances.
21:07Always trying to help when not needed.
21:09Ruins my makeup.
21:10She always gives me bad pep talks.
21:13She doesn't give me an allowance.
21:15She doesn't have swag.
21:18She likes my dog more than me and my brother.
21:21And then that last one,
21:22you tell everyone everything that I do.
21:26All right, Lisa, let's hear yours.
21:27Okay, I would be happy to read mine.
21:30Are you listening?
21:31Okay.
21:32I buy her food, clothes, and shoes.
21:35I provide a roof over her head.
21:37I help her to save money for her future.
21:40I give her money when she asks for it
21:43because I love Ashlyn,
21:45and when Ashlyn's happy, I'm happy.
21:49Well, like, I'm not trying to be mean,
21:50but, like, it's kind of your job
21:52because you're my mom.
21:55I don't think you get it yet.
21:56I don't think you realize
21:57how much she really, really does
21:59and how much you might miss it
22:01if you didn't have her to do that.
22:03So for the rest of the week,
22:05you can't rely on your mom for anything.
22:08You get to do it all on your own.
22:10That should be a relief for you.
22:13Okay, I love you.
22:16I think Ashlyn has convinced herself
22:18that she does not need her mother for anything.
22:21When Lisa is anywhere in Ashlyn's vicinity,
22:23all hell breaks loose,
22:25and it's usually right before
22:26she's about to go out on stage.
22:28And I don't know that Ashlyn
22:30will ever give her best performance
22:32unless she learns to coexist with her mother.
22:35Your dance is about someone
22:36who is trying to get her independence
22:39from her mother,
22:40and it's called
22:41Declaration of Independence.
22:44Okay?
22:45You want to try the round off?
22:46When you go into it,
22:47don't push at all.
22:49Totally split.
22:51And then turn it up.
22:53I don't know if she's just, like, tween,
22:55but things that are just normal mom things
22:59about me irritate her,
23:01and, like, I don't really know why.
23:02It absolutely makes me sad.
23:05You're, like, her punching bag
23:06because she knows you love her unconditionally.
23:08Yeah.
23:09Sometimes I feel like
23:10I need to let my kids struggle a little bit
23:12so that they can be independent.
23:14If she does struggle,
23:16are you going to fight the temptation to help her?
23:19I'm going to have to try.
23:22Ashlyn just thinks a lot of the things
23:24I do for her are either overbearing
23:27or I'm not doing enough,
23:28which, you know, might be true,
23:30but there should be some level of, like,
23:33appreciation and not expectation.
23:36I'm hoping that this lesson
23:37can help us find what that middle ground is.
23:41This is a good style for you,
23:43and it's, like, I like seeing a little bit
23:44of a softer side of you
23:45rather than just, like,
23:47or crying or whatever.
23:49Find moments of happiness even in this
23:51because you're making this decision for you.
23:55Okay.
23:55Let's put on costumes.
23:57There you go.
24:00Walk through the beginning.
24:05Here, let me have that before you destroy it.
24:07You're responsible for the wig,
24:08all your costume pieces.
24:09This has to be attached and not fall off.
24:12Okay.
24:13Got it?
24:13Mm-hmm.
24:14All right, put that on real quick.
24:18What's the matter?
24:19I'm just, like, a little bit overwhelmed.
24:22I still need help with, like, my hair.
24:24I always appreciate when she does that.
24:25Do you tell her that?
24:28Does she like to know you appreciate that?
24:30Well, I don't feel like the pretty car,
24:32but I say thank you.
24:34Okay.
24:35Go see your mom.
24:41It's okay.
24:42Take a deep breath.
24:43It's okay.
24:44It's your butt.
24:44Why can we do all this?
24:45Okay, okay, okay.
24:46I'm myself.
24:47I can't do that.
24:48I'm just a kid.
24:50How am I going to remember my...
24:51bring my costume.
24:52I have so many other things
24:53that I have to worry about.
24:55This is called Dance Moms,
24:56not just a daughter.
24:58You're here for a reason.
24:59Hi.
25:00Are you going to help me this weekend?
25:03I'm not sure you are.
25:04For me, it just feels like
25:05you never need my help.
25:08Let's see how it goes, okay?
25:13Got a brand new attitude
25:14Like, bing, bang, boom,
25:15on a pink balloon
25:16Like, I just do what I want to do
25:18Like, ooh, ooh, brand new
25:20Winning this week is more important
25:35than ever for some of these girls.
25:37Ashlyn and Lily will be going
25:38head-to-head in solos,
25:40and I'm hoping this gives me
25:41a really good indication
25:43of who is prepared for nationals.
25:45I need the hairspray,
25:47and I need the brush.
25:49This group dance is a second chance
25:50for me to show
25:51what I can do as a choreographer,
25:53but it's also a chance
25:53for Audrey to show
25:54what she's capable of
25:55as a ballet dancer.
25:57This is Audrey's chance
25:58at redemption,
25:59but Kaylee is very proud
26:00of this piece,
26:01so I think that it will be
26:02a huge disappointment to her
26:03if they don't pull it off.
26:04If you're not doing a solo
26:06this morning,
26:06go get bald.
26:08No, no, no.
26:08I'm going to make your hair cut.
26:09Lily, you know,
26:10you can brush your own hair.
26:11You know what's becoming
26:12so much more obvious to me?
26:14What?
26:14How much Lily needs her mom?
26:16She does,
26:17and she's respectful about it.
26:18I wouldn't throw stones, Lisa.
26:20We're just observing.
26:21Okay.
26:22It's really tight.
26:24One thing I've learned
26:26this week with Ashlyn
26:27is she is more independent.
26:29As a mom,
26:29it's, like, hard
26:30to make that transition,
26:32and I need to know
26:34when to let go, too,
26:35but she's doing great.
26:37I did it without my mom.
26:38Doing a fantastic job, honey.
26:40This is the first time
26:41I've stood in my wig on my own.
26:42I'm pretty sure
26:43I know what I'm doing.
26:44I'm a little bit scared
26:45because, like,
26:46I don't want to fall off.
26:47I just poked my ear.
26:50I kind of wish
26:51I had some help right now.
26:52Ashlyn needs to know
26:54what it feels like
26:55to be independent,
26:56so I need to give her space.
26:59How do I tie this?
27:05Mom.
27:07She stepped out, sweetie.
27:12You can do it.
27:16You got it.
27:16Actually, you can't figure it out, baby.
27:19Because I want to be, like,
27:20stretching and stuff.
27:21Okay.
27:22Well, then hurry up.
27:23Then you can.
27:25Okay.
27:26Got it.
27:26Just take the bobby pin in.
27:27You're good.
27:28It's kind of unfair
27:29because, like,
27:30Lily doesn't really have
27:31that many things
27:31that she needs to do,
27:32but I had to, like,
27:33put on, like,
27:34all these, like,
27:35accessories,
27:36and, like,
27:37I had to do my hair,
27:38and I have to put on this hat,
27:39and it's hard to get ready
27:40for, like,
27:41getting it by myself.
27:42I feel like I'm going to do bad.
27:47You know how important this is,
27:49right?
27:50This is your opportunity
27:51to show this glow.
27:52Okay?
27:53We've been waiting for this.
27:54I'm scaring me.
27:54Why are you scaring you?
27:56I'm just saying.
27:57What?
27:57I'm just scared.
27:59I know.
27:59I'm just trying to help you.
28:00Corinne,
28:01give her some space.
28:03Free Lily.
28:05Lily's biggest challenge
28:07is to not crack
28:08under the pressure
28:08of her mother.
28:09She wants everything perfect,
28:10and she expects Lily
28:11to be perfect.
28:12She's not going to be.
28:14We're getting down
28:15to the end of the season.
28:16There's a lot on the line
28:17for both of you.
28:18Whoever scores the highest
28:20keeps you in the running
28:21for a solo at nationals.
28:23May the best man win.
28:26Everyone wants a solo
28:27at nationals
28:28because it's a huge honor.
28:30Studios from all over
28:32put their best dancers
28:33up to compete.
28:34And big-time choreographers
28:36and casting directors
28:37watch those performances online.
28:39Kids go viral off of this.
28:42If Lily and Ashlyn
28:43want to earn a solo there,
28:45it starts with them
28:46overcoming their issues here.
28:48Up next,
28:48we have Ashlyn
28:49with Decoration of Independence.
28:51I was nervous about doing it
29:04on my own
29:04and getting ready by myself,
29:05but I really want Miss Go
29:06to be proud of me,
29:07and I want to show her
29:08that I can have a lead
29:09at nationals.
29:09Next, we have Ashlyn
29:10with Decoration of Independence.
29:12можно Ben Toad
29:17to be in architecture,
29:17looking at me.
29:18Again, Ashlyn
29:19comes at me tomorrow.
29:20Calls me in life.
29:22It's the air
29:23that makes me feel alive.
29:26I got this fire inside me.
29:29And I'm ready.
29:31Not waiting for a sign.
29:34This is my moment
29:35I was born to rise.
29:37I'll step out
29:38and take this ride.
29:39I feel alive
29:41So I'm gonna stand my ground
29:45Got something to believe in
29:47Even if I fall back down
29:50Nothing's gonna stop me now
29:53Cause now I'm part of whoo
29:56Now I'm standing tall
30:05This is the moment I was born for
30:08Won't let this pass me by
30:11I'll come alive
30:13So I'm gonna stand my ground
30:16Got something to believe in
30:19Even if I fall back down
30:22Nothing's gonna stop me now
30:24Cause now I'm part of whoo
30:28Cause now I'm part of whoo
30:38I'm proud of myself
30:48And I'm happy that
30:49Like I accomplished all these things this week
30:51And my waist stayed on
30:53But I still need my mom sometimes
30:54I know this solo is perfect for me
31:01So like I wanna do it extra good
31:03I'm just really nervous
31:04Corrine, clean your camera
31:08What?
31:09That was blurry
31:10Clean your camera
31:12It's dirty
31:13One job
31:15Up next we have Lily Flower Queen
31:18Ring our
33:24Ashlyn was great, but I'm just so impressed with Lily right now.
33:27Even though I wasn't completely able to stop acting anxious around her, she still killed
33:31it.
33:32She's not only a strong dancer, but she has strong work ethic, and that's a huge asset
33:37for our team.
33:38I was just like so focused because I'm not letting myself do it wrong.
33:42Once I hit the ending pose, my heart rate went from like 10 million to 100.
33:48Yay!
33:49Good job, girl.
33:50Good job.
33:51Yes.
33:52Amazing.
33:53Oh, I see smiles.
33:55That makes me happy.
33:56How do you feel?
33:57Good.
33:58Ashlyn, did you feel calmer doing all this on your own?
33:59I guess I learned throughout the week that I don't show my mom enough appreciation and I
34:13don't think I realize how much she actually helps me.
34:15And I think I just like take advantage of that.
34:18I'm sorry for like, not like.
34:23I love you.
34:26I'm sorry for like, I guess taking advantage of you and not like, I guess like appreciating
34:33what you do for me.
34:34I have to learn too.
34:35I get it.
34:36I need to back off too a little bit.
34:38I love you so much.
34:40I'm gonna get you.
34:41I'm gonna get you always.
34:43You're gonna make me cry.
34:44This dance has so many things right now.
34:47I'm like, having heart palpitations.
34:49Ballet can only be perfect or it's wrong.
34:51I'll be damned if they're gonna lose their winning streak with my choreography in my genre.
34:55Winner!
34:57He just wants to make everything about her.
34:59I feel like I'm drowning.
35:01Like, I'm just so upset.
35:03I'm scared.
35:04Let's go, girl!
35:06Come on!
35:07Woo!
35:14Okay, war boys.
35:15Let's see what your makeup looks like.
35:17Oh my God!
35:18I need everyone to get ready.
35:19There are a lot of pieces that have to go on the costume also.
35:23Hey!
35:24I need everyone to get ready.
35:25There are a lot of pieces that have to go on the costume also.
35:30My war boy name is Rage.
35:38I'm a war boy.
35:39I'm not afraid of anything except for being good.
35:43I'm a little afraid of that.
35:46This is a huge way, Kareem.
35:47This is kind of like the make or break week for me.
35:49This is my one shot to prove that I deserve to be back.
35:54We don't want a repeat of last year.
35:55And it would be unreliable of me if I let any more things happen again.
36:00I want to get better, so I'm trying to work to get better.
36:04Audrey, go stretch.
36:05You're a scorpion.
36:06Can you pull me?
36:07I love you, but I'm wearing all white.
36:09Go stretch hands later.
36:10Do you have free back?
36:11Okay, free back.
36:13Okay, now turn this way.
36:14Now go.
36:16You're going to get dirt all over me.
36:18Let's go.
36:19Stretch yourself.
36:20Go, go, stretch yourself.
36:21I need her to pull my legs.
36:22Pull your own legs.
36:23Don't speak to her like that.
36:24Sorry, I'm sorry.
36:26Audrey was having such a good week up until this moment, but at least we didn't have to
36:31call any ambulances.
36:33I'm not going to address this right now because I need Audrey to stay focused.
36:36And if we lose Audrey again, there is no revamping this routine this time in five minutes.
36:40Okay, but if I had acted like that to you and you were Tammy in that situation, there would
36:45be a stretcher with your name on it.
36:48Yeah.
36:48One hundred percent.
36:50I'm a ballet dancer.
36:52It's what I'm known for.
36:53It's what people expect you guys to be the best at because I'm your teacher.
36:57This is the hardest dance that you've probably ever done.
37:01You are performing right now.
37:03Audrey, I'm counting on you.
37:04The dance as a whole is so good.
37:07But if one part of it isn't so good, then it's less than perfect.
37:11Ballet can only be perfect or it's wrong.
37:13Kill it, please.
37:15Wake up, guys!
37:17I'm like having heart palpitations.
37:19I'm freaking out a little bit.
37:20If they go on stage and don't get their best performance, I'm just going to be really sad
37:24because it can be spectacular.
37:27I'll be damned if they're going to lose their winning streak with my choreography in my genre.
37:32More boys, half-life, more boys!
37:34This number has the potential to be one of the best routines that we've ever put on stage.
37:39It just all depends on them.
37:41This dance has so many things to write about.
37:43Like, it's my redemption from last year.
37:46I hit a mic guy and I had to go to the hospital.
37:49It's my redemption for probation.
37:52I'm scared.
37:54I feel like I'm about to go to war.
37:59Let's go, girls!
38:00Come on!
38:19Go!
38:32Go!
38:33Let's go!
39:38That was her assignment, to be perfect.
39:39And that was not perfect.
39:40That was not worth getting off probation.
39:42Here we go.
39:52Juniors, ages 9 to 12, overalls.
39:55In fifth place, Copycat Dance by Cammy.
39:59Nationals is three weeks away, and I need to think about who can handle the pressure
40:05and secure a win when it matters the most.
40:07If Lily and Ashlyn can't score high with the judges here, there's no way they're going
40:11to score high at Nationals.
40:12In fourth place, Declaration of Independence, Project X Dance Company.
40:22Well, I thought I was going to place, like, at least third place, not fourth.
40:33I'm kind of speechless.
40:34In third place, Still Have Me, Anna-Marie School of Dance.
40:46In second place, The Flower Queen, Project X Dance Company.
40:54I worked really hard this week, so I am a little, like, bummed that I didn't get first.
41:03But I still have two weeks to show Miss Glow that I deserve to have something at Nationals.
41:07Take a bow, everyone, congratulations.
41:13We are going to do 11 to 14 top groups in third place.
41:23It's getting bad again, Dance by Cammy.
41:28I felt bad for Kaylee.
41:30There were far too many mistakes in the group dance.
41:32It was not the dance I was expecting to see on stage.
41:35Considering how the solos did, I doubt we're even going to place.
41:41And now in second place, this is...
41:45Show Off Dance by Cammy again.
41:51Are we sure they place?
41:54And now in first place...
42:00Ballet Boys, Project X Dance Company.
42:04Ballet Boys, everybody come down here.
42:08Wow.
42:09Okay.
42:10Yes, let us see you.
42:11Come on in here.
42:12All right, tell me your studio.
42:14Project X Dance Company.
42:16And who choreographed this routine?
42:18Kaylee.
42:20Kaylee, shout out to you.
42:23Congratulations.
42:23I just want to say,
42:26we are so excited to announce
42:29we are going to have Nationals in New York City.
42:33Do you think that you can make it to New York City in three weeks?
42:37Yeah!
42:38I can't wait to see you.
42:40Let's have a round of applause for the Ballet Boys.
42:43Take a bow.
42:45Very good.
42:47I'm kind of surprised that we won
42:49because I kind of just think it was luck.
42:51I think you're going to need more than luck
42:53to win the Nationals.
42:55I don't really care
42:56because I just want to go to New York
42:57and I want to see Broadway shows
42:59and I want to be on Broadway
43:01because I want to keep going on the stage
43:03and I want to act and sing
43:04and I just really want to go to New York.
43:05I can't wait.
43:06It's going to be so fun.
43:09Yay!
43:10We win!
43:10More putt!
43:11More putt!
43:12More putt!
43:13More putt!
43:13More putt!
43:15The good news is we are undefeated
43:21but guess what you have to do to stay there
43:25especially for Nationals.
43:26Do good.
43:27In the words of the 10-year-old,
43:29do good.
43:31You guys need to realize
43:33Nationals is a whole different beast.
43:36You're going to compete against
43:37some of the best dancers in the entire country.
43:40Yay we got first.
43:41Yay we have another trophy.
43:42But I want better for you.
43:44You should not have been
43:45scared out of your minds
43:46but from the second you walked on stage
43:47I could tell that you were.
43:49It was a lot wrong.
43:50Audrey, you didn't hit Scorpion.
43:53You were wobbly before you ever went into it.
43:56A smart dancer would not have
43:59tried to go up on point
44:00when they were falling over
44:01or just standing on one leg.
44:03Yeah I don't think you've done
44:04what you need to do
44:05to be off of probation.
44:07Unfortunately.
44:08So you said that it was based on her behavior
44:10not on the dance.
44:11I mean when she spoke to Bella like that earlier
44:13that wasn't behavior.
44:14Right, yeah.
44:14Audrey stretch yourself.
44:16Go, go.
44:16I need her to pull my legs.
44:18Go, go.
44:19Don't speak to her like that.
44:20Yeah when she yelled at Bella
44:22that was absolutely not good behavior.
44:24You yelled at Bella?
44:26She raised her voice.
44:27Why did you talk like that?
44:29You did.
44:29Audrey you did.
44:30You did.
44:30No you did.
44:31No.
44:32It's not what you said.
44:33It's the way that you spoke to her.
44:35I didn't realize like that it came out
44:40so like disrespectful as it like
44:43I think I just said it
44:44and I think it was just like in the moment
44:46like fast.
44:47I appreciate your apology
44:49but let's just learn from this and move on.
44:52You need to just you know take a breath.
44:54All right.
44:56I need the girls.
44:57I want you to pack up, head out.
44:59I want to talk to your moms for a bit.
45:04Anyway, as you all know
45:06next week we're competing in our hometown
45:08and I've been planning to include the dads.
45:11What if their dad can't come?
45:16I think the kids are going to be disappointed.
45:18Well the kids will be disappointed
45:19but is there a punishment to them
45:21if their dad doesn't show up?
45:23If their dad can't make it
45:24are they still part of the dance?
45:26I never said that the kids were going to be punished.
45:28I'm just worried about it
45:29because I'm trying to get Audrey's dad to come.
45:31I have literally begged him
45:34which is so embarrassing
45:35that I have to beg him.
45:37Now she's still in probation
45:38so there's still a punishment.
45:39I feel like I'm drowning
45:41like I don't
45:43I'm just so upset
45:45and I'm failing so freaking much.
45:47I don't think it's something
45:48that we need to dwell on right now.
45:49I think being upset here right now
45:51isn't going to help.
45:53Just kick us off.
45:55It's not mine.
45:59I just ask simply
46:01that everybody does everything they can
46:03to get the dads to come.
46:04Yes?
46:05Yes.
