00:06:17Nancy
00:06:23Hold on
00:06:24Oh yeah

00:06:29Hi people
00:06:30My name is Babatunde Aleshe
00:06:31And I'm best known
00:06:32For being a stand up comedian
00:06:34I was like
00:06:35I just get to make people laugh all day
00:06:39That's just the best job ever
00:06:41Pack it up
00:06:42Pack it up
00:06:43What I like about dancing
00:06:44Is watching other people do it
00:06:47I'm not supposed to be doing something like this
00:06:49I don't dance
00:06:50I mean I'm looking forward to like
00:06:53Challenging myself
00:06:54And seeing what I could do
00:06:55But there's no turning back from this
00:06:57I can't act hard anymore
00:06:59Like the man am I going to be like
00:07:00Nah bruh you're a ballroom dancer
00:07:02Oh god what am I doing

00:07:18Yeah they say less is more
00:07:20But not with the Charleston
00:07:22More is more
00:07:23More more more more
00:07:24You can do better
00:07:26How Nancy is teaching me
00:07:28Is by chasing me around the room
00:07:30Telling me to do it again
00:07:33I love you
00:07:34Do it again
00:07:36When it comes to the show
00:07:37I'm going to be a bag of nerves
00:07:39I'm a bag of nerves now
00:07:40But I'm getting the hang of it
00:07:41Bit by bit
00:07:45In my dance
00:07:46I am the naughty elf
00:07:47I'm trying to convince Nancy
00:07:49To be naughty
00:07:50But I think she needs some practice
00:07:51So we are at a group rehearsal
00:07:54I've given Nancy an air piece
00:07:56And I'm going to make her mess with some of the dancing
00:07:59This is going to be so much fun
00:08:02Okay Nancy nod your head if you can hear me
00:08:04All right

00:10:56You have a cheeky little elf, aren't you?
00:10:58That's what is all in the Christmas mood
00:11:00Dancing on the telly on Christmas day
00:11:03How does that feel?
00:11:05It's good. I feel good. Yes. I'm tired. Yes. Now, I know a George who happens to love a Charleston.
00:11:12Let's see if he's going to be naughty or nice.
00:11:15I do love a Charleston and I like being naughty. That is true.
00:11:21For me, that was a little laid back. I've got to be honest.
00:11:24Boo! Boo! Boo! Boo! Boo!
00:11:31It looked like you were dancing after you just had your full Christmas dinner. Well, he has.
00:11:36But you know what? The swivel was absolutely brilliant. Your timing was exceptional.
00:11:43And your musicality was wonderful. It was a really great routine. Excellent.
00:11:48He's very fussy about the swivel. I know. Moxie.
00:11:51Well, it wouldn't be Christmas without a naughty elf on the shelf.
00:11:56And you gave us to be a part. A naughty elf on the shelf and dancing.
00:12:02You were excellent. We love the musicality. We love your personality.
00:12:10Thank you. Great work, guys. Thank you. Shirley.
00:12:14A very, very delicious Christmas cake. Very naughty but very nice. I like Christmas cake.
00:12:20I have to say, everything in that was tasty, yummy and truly scrumptious, wasn't it Anton?
00:12:26Oh, no, it was. Oh, we loved it.
00:12:28And the swivels and the connection and the timing was just the star on the cake.
00:12:32You were absolutely divine together. Well done, you.
00:12:36Thank you. Thank you. Well done.
00:12:40Oh, hello, swivel. What about that swivel?
00:12:44Come on, on your own, giving it plenty. I like it. Very clean, great timing, lovely partnering.
00:12:50I enjoyed it enormously. Well done. Thank you so much. Thanks.
00:12:56Sounds like the judges love an elf who can swivel. Absolutely, yeah.
00:13:00Congratulations. Oh, thank you. Go and enjoy the party upstairs. Thank you, guys. Thank you, Baba.
00:13:04Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Baba and Nancy.
00:13:08Come on. Come on. Come on.
00:13:12Well done. We just opened the Christmas show. Yeah.
00:13:22How did you find it? I found it really good. I'm tired. Yes.
00:13:26My lord. I know. This is the Charleston. I know.
00:13:30Why did you guys do this? This is tiring. You did have the most tiring dance. It's hard work, right?
00:13:36Yes, but do you know what I said to him?
00:13:38Come on. Yeah. Accept at the moment.
00:13:40Uh-huh. You can do the Charleston.
00:13:42Then you will feel great
00:13:44in Christmas night. Yes.
00:13:46Because you can just sit there or sit in the bed
00:13:48or lie in the bed having any food in your bed without guilty. That's right.
00:13:52I plan to do that. Don't worry about that. Yeah.
00:13:54You absolutely smashed that. How happy are you about the judges' comments?
00:13:58Well, maybe another time, maybe you might see a better Charleston. Who knows?
00:14:04I've never seen a better Charleston than that. Not what you saw tonight. Tonight was the one.
00:14:08Christmas. That's right. Correct. Christmas Charleston.
00:14:11Yes. Ten out of ten. Good luck to both of you. Thank you. Scores are in.

00:15:12D'or!
00:15:13But I now feel Christmassy.
00:15:32so i'm mel and i'm going to be attempting to dance i used to be in a band in the 90s called
00:15:43all saints it was amazing being with my best mates traveling the world but the dancing was a lot of
00:15:49plodding around there was a lot of shoulder bopping back in those days i don't think there's
00:15:54going to be any comparison to dancing on strictly i've always been nervous when i sang so this is
00:16:01going to be like times a million i am at the point in my life where i know that i need to challenge
00:16:07myself i mean you know it's a once in a lifetime experience i'm just going to give it my best
00:16:16we are going to be dancing the etta jazz it's sort of fred and ginger-esque a lot of sort of posing
00:16:24i'm actually really enjoying it and that's probably got something to do with kai as well
00:16:28i mean he's so lovely i'm holding on to you for doing that that's okay that's normal i wouldn't
00:16:32say i'm in my natural element here because i've got scoliosis and i've got my odds in my spine and
00:16:37that makes me quite stiff yeah and let's give it gene kelly so if my life on strictly wasn't hard
00:16:43enough kai decided to bring umbrellas into this relationship it's just like to me a spiky weapon
00:16:50i don't like doing anything half-hearted whether i can put it off i don't know but i'm gonna give it
00:16:58a good go so we've been so busy rehearsing and kai's been so amazing teaching me this dance i thought
00:17:06i'd take him to the fairground and let him have some fun on some rides what a lovely idea mel had
00:17:13to bring me to the winter fair it's not really mel's cup of tea i love it i've never seen a
00:17:21fully grown human man enjoy fairground rides as much as kai it's really really joy watching him
00:17:27love it so much oh my gosh we're trying to get mel on the roller coasters all day but she's finally
00:17:41agreed to one and i've heard it's really scary are you ready yes come on let's go
00:17:54it's been an amazing night we've had so much fun and now i'm just ready to get on that dance floor

00:24:31Oh Tess now now before you carry on I just you know there's there isn't an Argentine tango in the show tonight but
00:24:39And we all know it's your favorite dance so the four of us we've had a whip round and we decided to get you one for Christmas

00:25:05Oh, thank you
00:25:06Oh, thank you
00:25:09Oh, thank you
00:25:10Yeah!
00:25:15A little bit too much stuffin' with the turkey.
00:25:17Hello, I'm Brian McFadden.
00:25:19You probably know me best for being in Westlife.
00:25:22Being in Westlife was one of the best experiences of my life,
00:25:25getting to travel around the world, being a pop star,
00:25:27which is something I never thought I was going to be as a kid.
00:25:31My house was always full of dancing.
00:25:33It was a huge part of growing up in Ireland.
00:25:35I wasn't very good at it, but I absolutely loved doing it.
00:25:38You know, Strictly, it's an institution.
00:25:41It's part of British history.
00:25:42But the main reason I'm doing this is for my daughter Ruby.
00:25:44She's absolutely obsessed with Strictly.
00:25:46I can't wait to see her little face when she sees me on Christmas Day.
00:25:54The jive is very, very difficult.
00:25:56It's not an easy dance.
00:25:58You know, it's fast.
00:25:59You need really good stamina for it.
00:26:01It's hard.
00:26:03You see, there's this preconceived idea that being in a boy band
00:26:06means you're a great dancer.
00:26:07But my Westlife days, our biggest dance move was
00:26:10getting off the stool for the key change.
00:26:15So today was a little bit of a break from the norm
00:26:17and we had my wife Danielle and my daughter Ruby come down and join us.
00:26:20Hello!
00:26:23How are you, sweetie pie?
00:26:24Do you want to watch us do our dance?
00:26:26Merry Christmas.
00:26:27I don't want to miss out on the holidays.
00:26:29My daddy's the best dancer in the world.
00:26:33Dad!
00:26:36I think my daddy's going to win Strictly.
00:26:38I heard that there's a great choir on in Somerset House singing Christmas carols, so I'm bringing
00:26:47Michelle to see what I do every day.
00:26:49Can't wait!
00:26:50It is Merry Christmas.
00:26:53Everybody's having fun.
00:26:56What a little treat for Christmas.
00:26:57To be able to hear all those voices around you.
00:26:59So beautiful.
00:27:00It is really magical.
00:27:01It's the best thing in the world.
00:27:03Hey!
00:27:05Now that we have you here, there actually is a particular number we sing.
00:27:08Oh, really?
00:27:09About flying.
00:27:10I'll fly without wigs.
00:27:13I wasn't really prepared for that, but I've been singing that song for 27 years now, so it's in there.
00:27:19Everybody's looking for that something
00:27:24One thing that makes it all complete
00:27:28When Brian was singing, it did feel quite emotional. It's a beautiful song.
00:27:31Well for me, it's waking up beside you
00:27:36To be able to sing with a big choir like that, that was a pretty special moment.
00:27:40Sunrise on your face
00:27:42Now, it feels like the night before Christmas. Everything's ready to go and now, focus on the dance.
00:27:48We
00:27:51Woo!
00:27:53Woo!
00:27:57Dancing with a giant, Brian McFadden and his partner Michelle Chakis.
00:28:01Show checkers.
00:30:03I mean, not many people could manage that after a Christmas dinner guy drive.
00:30:09Way too much to reckon.
00:30:10You can have a lie down in a minute.
00:30:12Oh, a minute.
00:30:13Not just yet.
00:30:14Let's go to the judges to find out what they thought first.
00:30:16You've got a pretty good view there, Anton.
00:30:18Oh, yeah, I had too close.
00:30:24You were thrilled with that bit there, weren't you?
00:30:25Enjoying this film?
00:30:27Yeah.
00:30:28He gets an extra point.
00:30:30It did make me think I must go home and crack some walnuts.
00:30:35I know how they're doing now.
00:30:37What a clinching going on.
00:30:40I thought this...
00:30:41This was...
00:30:42This was great.
00:30:43I love this.
00:30:44Absolutely magical.
00:30:45I mean, a rock and roll number from a rock and roll star.
00:30:52You were magnificent.
00:30:53I thought that was terrific.
00:30:54Oh, thank you.
00:30:55That's what we like to hear.
00:30:56Great.
00:30:57It did lack a little bit of precision.
00:31:04Oh, it's Christmas.
00:31:08That's the only negative.
00:31:10The energy was absolutely fantastic.
00:31:13You even had retraction in your kicks.
00:31:16I love that.
00:31:17It was full of fantastic content.
00:31:20You styled it out.
00:31:22I didn't know what was happening here when you were climbing up.
00:31:25That next two of us.
00:31:27That next two of us.
00:31:28But, you know, I enjoyed that little bit.
00:31:30That little...
00:31:31Our personal moment together there, darling, was rather nice.
00:31:35Just for you, Craig.
00:31:36I think it was great.
00:31:37It was fantastic.
00:31:38Really good.
00:31:40What a man!
00:31:42Oh, my God.
00:31:43Oh, my God.
00:31:44Oh, my God.
00:31:45Rock and roll Rudolph.
00:31:46You rocked the dance floor, honestly.
00:31:47You left no Christmas crumbs to eat.
00:31:50Great choreography.
00:31:51Michelle.
00:31:52Really well done.
00:31:53Well done, Michelle.
00:31:54Honestly.
00:31:55Really well.
00:31:56Very musical.
00:31:57Very musical.
00:31:58Lots of fun.
00:32:00Shirley.
00:32:01I think after a few tipples of Sherry, that would be the kind of number that my mother
00:32:04and I had like in our kitchen.
00:32:06Both of you rocking it.
00:32:07I'm telling you.
00:32:08Kicks, flicks, highlights.
00:32:10Just a superstar.
00:32:11Michelle, your choreography was absolutely out of this world.
00:32:14Thank you so much.
00:32:15You kept in sync.
00:32:16You kept in time.
00:32:17It was everything that you would expect and more at Christmas.
00:32:22Thank you so much.
00:32:23You're just brilliant comments.
00:32:24Brilliant, yeah.
00:32:25Thank you so much.
00:32:26Amazing.
00:32:27We're happy with that.
00:32:28I'm not going to lie.
00:32:29I'm so glad that's over now.
00:32:30It's me going back to singing now for a while.
00:32:32It's me going back to singing now for a while.
00:32:33With Claude.
00:32:34Thank you, Brian.
00:32:36Michelle, everyone.
00:32:37Shall I show you what to say?
00:32:38I have to.
00:32:39Yes, Brian.
00:32:40Yes, Brian.
00:32:41Well done.
00:32:42Brian and Michelle.
00:32:43Brilliant comment.
00:32:44I know.
00:32:45It's a lot, right?
00:32:46I'm not going to lie.
00:32:47I couldn't hear anything they said.
00:32:48My ears were going .
00:32:49I was just nodding.
00:32:50You did fantastically well.
00:32:51It is a very fast dance.
00:32:52You chose to do it in pleather respect.
00:32:53I know, yeah.
00:32:54Yeah, absolutely.
00:32:55You must be boiling in that.
00:32:56It's very, very hot.
00:32:57I have to say her choreography was amazing.
00:32:58Yes.
00:32:59I really designed this choreography based on Brian.
00:33:03I told him when he was on the judges' stage,
00:33:05I had never seen a lot of people who were like,
00:33:07so I would have just got a couple of people who were
00:33:10out there.
00:33:11We were all out there.
00:33:12We were all out there.
00:33:13We were all out there in the show.
00:33:14We were all out there, Michelle.
00:33:15We were all out there.
00:33:16I really designed this choreography based on Brian.
00:33:18I told him on the when he was on the judges table. I was like, you just do you show me what you've got
00:33:26You you're a cool guy and that was a cool choreo
00:33:40Okay, good luck this goes the judges have their scores Craig revel Hall nine
00:33:49Motsi Mabuse
00:33:57And Tom dubai
00:34:11Audience vote combined with the judges scores that will decide who will be crowned strictly Christmas champions
00:34:172025
00:34:18They are over the moon
00:34:20Our next Christmas celebrity is Jodie Aounsley and her partner Neil and as a gladiator Jodie's used to going head-to-head in some extreme
00:34:28Physical challenges, but how will she fair tonight as she enters the Strictly arena for a street commercial showdown
00:34:34Merry Christmas
00:34:37Merry Christmas
00:34:40Merry Christmas
00:34:41I'm Jodie Aounsley, but you might know me best as fury on gladiators
00:34:45I've been in sport my whole life. It started with world code carrying championships. I then became British champion in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and then I represented England in rugby, which was amazing
00:35:00So I was born profoundly deaf, but when I was 14 months old, I had a cochlear implant fitted music. I can't hear it. We'll get round it
00:35:10My dancing experience non-existent, but I'm always up for a challenge and I'm just going to give him my absolute all
00:35:17What's the worst that can happen?
00:35:20Between dancing and gladiators dancing is harder. I'm telling you
00:35:27Every time when I came into it, I was thinking oh gosh, I'm gonna have to be all elegant, but the dance is so me
00:35:37That's it. Yeah, we're gonna be dancing street commercial. It's power. It's agility. It's fun, but also with a bit of sass as well
00:35:45I think normally you see the guys doing all the lifts, but I may flip Neil over my back and I think that is so refreshing
00:35:54Hopefully he'll survive to the end
00:36:00Neil's brought me back on the rugby field to attend the world record of pulling the most crackers in a minute
00:36:07Jodie's got two Guinness world records, so I thought team up together and I might have a chance of winning my very own
00:36:14Jodie, Neil the minimum to beat is 63. Are you ready? Yes. Let's crack on
00:36:21Sorry in three two one go
00:36:29The adrenaline because we were both shaking
00:36:32I was trembling

00:37:08I have a special guest with something for you.
00:37:11Congratulations, Santa!
00:37:14We absolutely smashed it, got the world record.
00:37:16Hopefully now we can do the same with a dance
00:37:18and, you know, win that glitter ball.
00:37:20Bring it on.

00:38:58Everything this season's been missing
00:39:01Now that I'm here
00:39:02Making it clear

00:39:48There was a vibe
00:39:49You were strong
00:39:50You were sharp
00:39:51And I understood the storytelling was a lot of fun
00:39:55So much fun

00:40:03Yes
00:40:04She was in charge
00:40:05It was like a fight scene with the family on Christmas day after too much wine
00:40:08You know what I mean?
00:40:09It was absolutely terrific
00:40:11You are a star young lady

00:40:48Following Harry's mistakes
00:40:50What a bowler
00:40:51He's good
00:40:52He's really good

00:41:03Because that stuff is not easy
00:41:05I particularly love, love, love the rugby tackle
00:41:09Seeing Neil go down
00:41:11That was my favourite bit
00:41:12Yeah
00:41:13Because he deserves that sometimes
00:41:15I thought
00:41:16The whole thing was formidable
00:41:23I think all the judges enjoyed Neil going down, Jodie
00:41:26And they certainly enjoyed your performance
00:41:28Congratulations
00:41:29It was brilliant
00:41:30Go and get your scores, be Claude
00:41:32Thank you
00:41:33Thank you
00:41:34Thank you
00:41:35Thank you
00:41:36Thank you
00:41:37Thank you
00:41:38Thank you
00:41:39Thank you
00:41:40Well done, Jodie
00:41:42You did so, so well
00:41:46And it was a hard routine
00:41:47It was hard
00:41:48It was really hard
00:41:49It was really hard
00:41:50Did you enjoy it, Jodie?
00:41:51Well, it was like a hit class
00:41:53I thought we were dancing
00:41:54But that hard
00:41:55Like, I'm absolutely glowing
00:41:57You were magnificent
00:42:00How much does it mean for you to be here?
00:42:02Well, I think, obviously, it's been a pretty hard time.
00:42:07Because last week, I sort of lost my dad, which was a shock,
00:42:11and he was going to be here tonight to watch me.
00:42:13So I think, if anything, it's actually been amazing
00:42:16to be around these guys, just getting me through it.
00:42:22To be honest, I just danced like he was in the audience,
00:42:25and I'm just happy my mum's here as well, and she's, you know,
00:42:29got out on that, so, yeah, it meant a lot.
00:42:32You did brilliantly. We love you, Jodie.
00:42:35Neil, how has it been working with this extraordinary woman?
00:42:38Honestly, it's been incredible.
00:42:40And, you know, we all turn around every time and say,
00:42:42oh, they're great, they're working hard.
00:42:44I said to you, I sent you a message, and I said,
00:42:46if my daughter can be like you when she grows up,
00:42:49I will be the happiest man in the world.
00:42:52APPLAUSE
00:42:54You're amazing. Good luck. The scores are in.
00:42:57Will the judges please reveal their scores?

00:43:18Huge congratulations.
00:43:19You're over the moon.
00:43:20I'm just speechless, to be honest, right?
00:43:23You know, I just wanted to get through that dance,
00:43:25never mind that, so I'm honestly chuffed.
00:43:27PHONE RINGS
00:43:29Oh, so sorry.
00:43:30Someone's there.
00:43:31It's the door.
00:43:32Hello?
00:43:33Oh!
00:43:3447 mince pies for a Miss Tea Daily.
00:43:37Yes!
00:43:38We live together.
00:43:39I'll take those.
00:43:40There was a few more, but I got a bit hungry.
00:43:42LAUGHTER
00:43:43Tuck in.
00:43:44Yeah, go on.
00:43:45Everyone, get in.
00:43:46Yes.
00:43:47Oi, save me a mince pie, you lot.
00:43:51It is time now for something romantic.
00:43:54So, snuggle up on the sofa, give your loved ones a cuddle,
00:43:57and watch a beautiful Viennese waltz from EastEnders star,
00:44:01Nicholas Bailey and his partner, Luba.
00:44:04Fancy little snuggle, Craig?
00:44:06Come on.
00:44:07I've always wanted to do this.
00:44:10Snuggling.
00:44:11Ah.
00:44:17My name's Nicholas Bailey.
00:44:18I've been a professional actor for 35 years.
00:44:21I'm best known for playing the part of Dr. Anthony Truman
00:44:24in EastEnders.
00:44:25I really loved you!
00:44:27I think being an actor will help me in my dance journey.
00:44:31There's an extent to which you've got to be in the moment,
00:44:33you've got to connect with an audience.
00:44:35I love to dance.
00:44:37Any time there's a beat, I'm the first on the dance floor,
00:44:39but in terms of formal dance training,
00:44:41there's no experience whatsoever.
00:44:44When I step out there onto the Strictly dance floor,
00:44:47there will be pressure, but I think you need that little edge.
00:44:50Hopefully, that's when the magic happens.
00:44:56I've always wanted to do a Viennese waltz,
00:44:58but when I turned up, I realised how technical it was.
00:45:01Ta-ta-ba-da-boom.
00:45:03It's very specific, so it's tough trying to get your head around
00:45:06exact form and structure.
00:45:08So, you...
00:45:09Oh, that's lovely.
00:45:10It feels great to do the lifts.
00:45:12Ah!
00:45:13I'm just worried that I'm going to drop Luber,
00:45:15I'll spin her off the stage, but she's very, very kind,
00:45:18very, very patient.
00:45:19Beautiful.
00:45:20Gorgeous.
00:45:21There you go, yeah.
00:45:22There you go, yeah.
00:45:23It's amazing when you make a breakthrough,
00:45:25and you just see the smile break out on Luber's face.
00:45:28Well done!
00:45:29When people say it's transformative,
00:45:31they really are right.
00:45:32It's pretty amazing,
00:45:33and I'm really enjoying the experience.
00:45:40Luber, thank you so much for teaching me how to dance,
00:45:43and as a sign of my gratitude,
00:45:44I thought I'd bring you down to the amazing Albert Square
00:45:47for a spot of acting.
00:45:49Yes!
00:45:50I love it!
00:45:51Yeah, let's go.
00:45:52Luber, Luber, guess what?
00:45:54What happened?
00:45:55Someone broke into Ian's gaff overnight.
00:45:57No way.
00:45:58Yes, and stole all his mince pies.
00:46:00How did they get in?
00:46:02They think perhaps they got in through the chimney.
00:46:04Who can that be?
00:46:07Well, don't look at me.
00:46:09I was in the Queen Vic all night.
00:46:12At least there is some honest people still around.
00:46:16It was lovely to take Luber on to Albert Square.
00:46:19Get out of my pub!
00:46:21Listen, if I was an agent,
00:46:22I'd sign Luber in a heartbeat.
00:46:24Oh, hi, guys.
00:46:25I found your birth certificate, Santa.
00:46:28Let me see that.
00:46:29Santa, it says here,
00:46:31Luber's your mother?
00:46:33You're not my mother!
00:46:35Yes, I am!
00:46:37Nick, thank you so much.
00:46:42This has been wonderful.
00:46:43It's been lovely having you.
00:46:44After a bit of acting with Luber,
00:46:46now I'm ready to get back on the dance floor.
00:46:48And just have a great time.
00:46:54Dancing with Viennese Rolls,
00:46:56Nicolas Daly and his partner, Luber Woostert.
00:46:59It's the most wonderful time of the year.
00:47:16With the kids jingle belling and everyone telling you,
00:47:22be of good cheer.
00:47:26It's the most wonderful time of the year.
00:47:35It's the happiest season of all.
00:47:43With those holiday greetings and gay happy meetings
00:47:48when friends come to call.
00:47:52It's the half happiest season of all.
00:48:01There'll be much mistletoeing
00:48:03and hearts will be glowing
00:48:05when loved ones are near.
00:48:09It's the most wonderful time.
00:48:13Yes, the most wonderful time.
00:48:17For the most wonderful time of the year.
00:48:36Yeah!
00:48:38Well done!
00:48:39Well done!
00:48:40How about that?
00:48:43Nicolas!
00:48:45That was totally charming.
00:48:48You warmed my heart.
00:48:50You look like you're having the best time ever.
00:48:52Oh, amazingly.
00:48:53Yeah, I had a fantastic time.
00:48:55Well, that's a little warm as well.
00:48:56Is it?
00:48:57It's going quite fine.
00:48:58It was brilliant.
00:48:59A gift for us all, Shirley.
00:49:01My heart's warm too after watching that.
00:49:04I just thought it was beautiful.
00:49:06That is a gift worth giving over and over and over again.
00:49:10Like a night out and the Ritz on Christmas Day.
00:49:13Oh.
00:49:14You are debonair.
00:49:15You are sophisticated.
00:49:17You swept across that floor.
00:49:19It was pure class on Christmas Day.
00:49:24He's right.
00:49:25Amazing. Thank you.
00:49:26I can't wait to hear what Anton thought of it.
00:49:29Oh.
00:49:30Oh.
00:49:31Oh.
00:49:32Oh.
00:49:33Just gorgeous.
00:49:34I have to tell you, it was a bit of a surprise.
00:49:37Because it was really, genuinely good.
00:49:40I mean, your hands.
00:49:41Yes.
00:49:42It's the sweepity sweepity sweepity sweepity.
00:49:46Hands and lovely and your top nine immaculate.
00:49:50You look like you've been doing this for months, not days.
00:49:53It was absolutely beautiful.
00:49:55Great.
00:49:56Well done.
00:49:57My favourite dance of the night.
00:49:58Oh.
00:49:59Beautiful.
00:50:00His favourite dance of the night.
00:50:02I can't wait to hear what Craig thought about those hands,
00:50:04because he's quite particular about them.
00:50:06Well, you had a small little incident, a little moment there.
00:50:10Oh.
00:50:11I'm just pointing out what I saw, darling.
00:50:16But you know what?
00:50:17I was as surprised as Anton.
00:50:19I was going to say, it had flow.
00:50:21It had rotation.
00:50:23You used the floor extremely well, darling.
00:50:25You were like a grand conductor out there.
00:50:28Yes.
00:50:29And the hands were fantastic.
00:50:31Yes.
00:50:32I love it.
00:50:33Yes.
00:50:35That's amazing.
00:50:36Truly, truly, truly beautiful.
00:50:38I love the way you used your standing leg,
00:50:40and honestly, your frame was unbelievable.
00:50:43How about that tail suit?
00:50:44That tail suit.
00:50:45Oh.
00:50:46You know what?
00:50:47You go in and do a New Year's Wiener Walzer.
00:50:51So, so.
00:50:52Oh.
00:50:53Very, very nice.
00:50:54It's very nice.
00:50:55Thank you so much.
00:50:56You've been a full-on Christmas surprise for the judges.
00:50:59Looks like it.
00:51:00That's got to feel good.
00:51:02Oh, yeah, it's amazing.
00:51:03And when we're gliding together, and we're just connected like that,
00:51:05I just want to keep going into the car park and down High Street.
00:51:07Well, we wish you would.
00:51:08Very well-deserved comments.
00:51:10Thank you so much.
00:51:11Off you go and get your scores.
00:51:12Thank you, Nicholas.
00:51:13And never.
00:51:14Awesome.
00:51:15Oh, fuck you.
00:51:16Yes.
00:51:17Yes.
00:51:22Yes.

00:51:24Yes.
00:51:25Yes.
00:51:26Yes.
00:51:27Amazing.
00:51:28That comment.
00:51:29A bit sweaty here.
00:51:30A bit timely here.
00:51:31Nicholas.
00:51:32You've never been on the dance floor before.
00:51:33Never.
00:51:34And then you went and did that.
00:51:35Yeah.
00:51:36What just happened?
00:51:37I had an amazing teacher.
00:51:38Yeah, Louber.
00:51:39My maister.
00:51:41Louber is amazing.
00:51:42You were quite nervous about that.
00:51:43Yeah, yeah.
00:51:44It's odd.
00:51:45I felt like a sense of excitement, but once we locked into one another,
00:51:47it was just like the world just disappeared.
00:51:49It was a really amazing experience.
00:51:51It's good.
00:51:52Do you want to feel a bit?
00:51:53Do you want to feel a few butterflies?
00:51:54Yeah, of course.
00:51:55It's very important.
00:51:56I love the fact that you said Louber is the greatest teacher
00:51:59and she has some interesting techniques.
00:52:01Yeah, she does, don't you, Louber?
00:52:03Yes, I do.
00:52:04I do.
00:52:05Well, I made him dance with a chair, with a scarf,
00:52:07with a broom, with elastics.
00:52:10What else I did?
00:52:11That's right.
00:52:12That was about it.
00:52:13Yes, sir.
00:52:14Whatever was in her bag.
00:52:15He doesn't have me by his side.
00:52:16He can keep dancing.
00:52:17That's right.
00:52:18We've only partner.
00:52:19It's been amazing.

00:52:40Well done.
00:52:42Nicholas and Louber, please do remember.
00:52:46It's a studio audience combined with the judges' scores
00:52:49that decide who will become our Strictly Christmas champions.
00:52:53You're not going to believe this.
00:52:55It's the door.
00:52:56Oh.
00:52:57Hello.
00:52:58Oh.
00:52:59Hello.
00:53:00Hello.
00:53:09It's Carol Singers.
00:53:10Hmm.
00:53:11Mm-hmm.
00:53:25Oh.
00:53:26Yeah?
00:53:28MUSIC PLAYS
00:53:44So sweet!
00:53:46Our final couple tonight is taking us out-out for a cha-cha in a club.
00:53:51Some of the judges are keen to head out too,
00:53:53but I wasn't sure if it might still be a little bit early.
00:53:57It's never too early to go clubbing with Shirley.
00:54:03Let's go!
00:54:05Whatever you say, head judge.
00:54:08It's Scarlet Moffat and a partner Vito.
00:54:16Woo! I'm here! I'm excited!
00:54:19I'm Scarlet Moffat and I am most famous for being on the telly,
00:54:24probably for being a professional couch potato.
00:54:26On Gogglebox.
00:54:28I feel like I've just been so lucky that I've got to do crazy shows.
00:54:32I feel like this one might be my favourite.
00:54:37I've always loved dance.
00:54:39So To Do Strictly has been on my Christmas list since I was 13,
00:54:42since the show started.
00:54:44I'm so excited to meet the judges, you know.
00:54:47I really, really want to impress Shirley,
00:54:49because she's like the Latin Queen and I'm doing a cha-cha-cha.
00:54:53I just can't wait to strap my dance shoes on and just get on that floor.
00:54:57Run, run, step.
00:54:59Train with Vito.
00:55:01I've already worn that glitter ball because I'm just having the best time ever.
00:55:05Oh yeah, candles burning low.
00:55:07Vito literally threw me in the deep end and by that I mean like actually threw me to the floor.
00:55:13Oh my God!
00:55:15I've not been thrown about like that ever.
00:55:19So, you know, Merry Christmas.
00:55:21Bend the front leg.
00:55:22Big one.
00:55:23Shoo, shoo, stretch.
00:55:24So I have learned a new word which is bogies.
00:55:27When Scarlet was spinning around there was a bit of bogies come out.
00:55:30Oh my God, I've got snot on my face.
00:55:32As a teacher it makes me very proud.
00:55:34It means that you are spinning really quick, you know.
00:55:36So I say like, good bogies.
00:55:38This is my dream and it's come true.
00:55:40I just want to enjoy every single second of it.
00:55:46So me and Vito are having some well-earned rest from training
00:55:49and I really wanted Vito to meet my fiance Scott and my little boy Jude
00:55:53and we're going to go on a magical Christmas light trail.
00:55:56Oh wow Jude!
00:55:57Look how many lights are over there.
00:55:59What colours can you see?
00:56:01Are you cuddling daddy?
00:56:03We've only just introduced the idea of Santa to him,
00:56:05so hopefully he gets excited when he meets him.
00:56:10I think so.
00:56:12Hello there.
00:56:13Do you want to give Santa a high five?
00:56:15I'll give you a high five.
00:56:16Thank you very much, you're very kind.
00:56:19What would you like for Christmas?
00:56:23He's off.
00:56:24I just don't think he was that keen on Santa.
00:56:27He's more interested in the lights, bless him.
00:56:30Jude.
00:56:31So cute.
00:56:32Sorry, he's wrong.
00:56:34Two year olds do what two year olds are going to do.
00:56:37This has been so wholesome, experiencing the madness of Christmas.
00:56:43And I'm just so excited now that Jude gets to watch his mummy and Vito on Christmas Day.
00:56:50Dancing the chapter.
00:56:51Scarlet Moffat and her partner Vito Coppola.
00:58:28That's the only thing I want to see that's the only thing I want to see.
00:58:36Awwww
00:58:56Dave Arch, his band, and our brilliant singers for tonight's soundtrack.
00:59:00Merry Christmas, guys.
00:59:03Love you all.
00:59:05Oh, and you love a cha-cha, Motsi.
00:59:08How was that?
00:59:09I love a cha-cha, but a good cha-cha, oh my goodness.
00:59:13That was really, really, really great.
00:59:15Beautiful choreography again, but everything went so smoothly.
00:59:19The transition, your personality on the dance floor,
00:59:23the best Christmas gift ever.
00:59:25Oh, lovely.
00:59:27Well, it was like the icing on the cake, everything.
00:59:33I love details.
00:59:34You had attention to details.
00:59:35Like you said, the choreography was yummy.
00:59:38You did a fabulous job on that.
00:59:39You were connected to one another.
00:59:41I mean, you just look absolutely terrific.
00:59:44We like that.
00:59:45Well done.
00:59:47And you're fun.
00:59:49Oh, like the star at the top of one of our trees.
00:59:54You absolutely are.
00:59:55Beautiful.
00:59:55I mean, the ladies have said everything.
00:59:57It was a tremendous cha-cha-cha.
00:59:59I mean, the leg action was good, the feet with the thing,
