Pakistan Army Chief & Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, participated in Christmas celebrations at Christ Church, Rawalpindi. He extended warm greetings to the Christian community, emphasizing peace, harmony, and prosperity for all.
During his address, the COAS highlighted the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah for equality, freedom, and religious tolerance, stressing the protection of minority rights as a core pillar of Pakistan’s ideology.
He acknowledged the invaluable contributions of Pakistani Christians to national security and the armed forces across generations. The COAS also underscored the importance of interfaith harmony, mutual respect, and unity as the true strength of Pakistan.
Christian leaders thanked Field Marshal Asim Munir for supporting national unity, religious harmony, and the protection of all citizens’ rights.
