00:00Hey everybody, I'm Taylor. I'm gonna be doing some songs for you guys tonight.
00:05I hope you guys are having a great time.
00:07Very early on, she just knew she was gonna have to work hard.
00:14I mean, it depends on how far back we want to go.
00:18But it escalated from school play, theater group, karaoke nights.
00:26I'm gonna be doing some songs for you guys, and I hope you guys are having a great time because I sure am.
00:31Calling around to festivals and amusement parks to see if there was a spot for a little kid with a guitar and a couple of speakers.
00:40It was as basic as you can possibly imagine.
00:44Dragging guitars through airports, piling them into a rental car.
00:51Hit another city, another city, and just keep going.
00:56And she, from a very early age, always knew exactly how she wanted things to be.
01:04And she was always planning what her headline tour would be like.
01:09You know, I never heard her say the word fame or money.
01:15It was always just about the opportunity to go sing her songs and have everybody else singing those same words back to her.
01:26She would do these theaters, and they kept getting bigger and bigger and sold out faster and faster.
01:36So it was a gradual thing.
01:42But I don't think that when you are doing that, you ever, for a split second, take the time to think, it will become this.
01:54.
02:07So
02:37The European tour was so intense that, by the end, I was exhausted past a point that
02:47I can remember.
02:50So we need the break after Wembley to recharge not only our bodies, our energy, but our passion
03:01for giving that much every night.
03:06So that by the time we got back to the US, we were all just like fired up.
03:26Since we finished the massive European leg of the ARES tour, it's really just been trying
03:33to get back up to speed, being home.
03:39We have this two month break, we'll kind of regroup and catch our breath a little bit.
03:44Oh buddy, I'm taking care of my home life and then we'll get ready for the final push.
03:50I love traveling.
03:51I love my job.
03:52It's the best.
03:53And like everything's planned for us and then you get home and you're like, what do I do?
03:57And you have to learn how to schedule things for yourself again.
04:02So why I'm really excited for this break is so that I can sit right here and practice.
04:10I do live with my parents, my little brother and my grandma.
04:16I love coming home to them, getting like home cooked meals and stuff.
04:20I am eventually going to get my own apartment in LA.
04:24Yes, don't embarrass me.
04:26Definitely, for sure.
04:28It's a long time to be away.
04:32Rachel and I don't have children, but I mean, I went crazy how much I missed the dog.
04:37You know, just trying to get back into being a normal human and having a schedule and adulting.
04:45Trying to get life back together.
04:47It's four months, it's a long time to just check out and have fun, but come back to like,
04:54Oh, reality, my car registration, yikes.
05:01Love this, love this, love this, love this, love this, love this, love this, love this,
05:06love this, love this.
05:07Okay.
05:09Um.
05:10So we'll just start in show order.
05:12Yeah, let's put on all the, you know, if you want, we can take these for a spin for the run through.
05:21Sunset.
05:22Hello, Miami.
05:23Yeah, this should be first probably.
05:25So pretty.
05:26Nostalgia is a huge part of the era's tour.
05:31If you were 12 years old during the red era, you're going to remember certain things that
05:37you saw and certain things that you felt.
05:39It's my job to bring those feelings and those visuals back to you.
05:42Wardrobe is one way to do that.
05:45Oh, I love it.
05:46Oh, I'm so excited.
05:47The costume design for the era's tour was undertaken by my longtime stylist, Joseph Cassell.
05:56He's been with me since I was 16.
05:58The era's tour is all about the fans.
06:01You know, the reason I'm able to do my job so well is because I am a fan too.
06:13I love the organic way that Taylor and I work.
06:18It's like this secret language that we have.
06:21She would send me images.
06:22She'll be like, ooh, send me an image.
06:25And I'm like, aha.
06:26Wow.
06:27I saw Epiphany last night.
06:28You did?
06:29And I pulled about 50 different pictures from online.
06:32Nice.
06:33For the acoustic set.
06:34Awesome.
06:35I want it to be all 50s dresses.
06:37For the tour, we chose to be a little reflective and sentimental and tie in the designers who
06:45had been with Taylor from the beginning.
06:49I mean, dancing all night.
06:50Yeah, my feet ache, but I'm wearing Louboutins.
06:53Like, it is a privilege for these feet to ache like this.
06:57This was designed by Roberto Cavalli.
07:00She puts it on in the dark on stage.
07:02The magic of Velcro.
07:03The video for 22.
07:04I remember it like it was yesterday.
07:07Reputation.
07:08These strips are all sequined by hand.
07:11Cavalli, 1989.
07:13I remember meeting with Versace in Milan, and I was like, oh, my gosh.
07:18When you see the Versace bodysuit, just made of all these crystals, and the light hits it, and it's just...
07:26Oh, wow.
07:27Ooh.
07:28So obsessed with this.
07:30This is my new favorite, for sure.
07:32It somehow, like, heals me from having the stomach flu.
07:37It can take me from being utterly exhausted.
07:40I'm just like, nope.
07:41If I'm wearing this, I gotta level up.
07:43I gotta be on the level of this outfit.
07:45So here's another option of the coat.
07:51It's less overtly military, you know?
07:54When I start working on something with tea...
07:58You wanna try the white one?
08:00Yeah.
08:01I'm only thinking about the effect that it has on her.
08:04Oh, my God.
08:08That's amazing.
08:09Until I step into a stadium, and I'm, like, blown away.
08:15Listen for the best.
08:16My reputation's never been worse, so you must like me, fool me.
08:22Thousands of people dress in a way that reflects one of Taylor's looks.
08:27Diver on the east side, where you at?
08:29Falling lights at my nightstand in the black.
08:31Come here, you can meet me in the back.
08:34They use tape, they use stones, they use whatever.
08:36I am a lover.
08:38She has an outfit with, like, a lot of rainbow fringe.
08:40That's kind of where this came in.
08:43The commitment the fans have is beyond the music.
08:49There's a connection on a deep soul level with Taylor.
08:53During her New Jersey concert, Taylor debuted a new dress in this beautiful burgundy.
08:58Again, like the jacket.
09:00I really love this one.
09:01The costumes generally mean a lot.
09:07But reputation was monumental.
09:22My favorite part of the show is the reputation set.
09:24My mom made this outfit from scratch.
09:26I have, like, a reputation bodysuit inside.
09:28Like, it tears into a bodysuit.
09:30I'm a reputation girl, of course.
09:35Taylor Swift's most iconic outfit on the Heiress Tour is, of course, this never-changing reputation bodysuit.
09:42Which we've only gotten one the entire 131 shows.
09:45What we're waiting for right now is to see if Taylor Swift is going to come out with a new reputation outfit.
09:50Just the same.
09:51Same outfit.
09:52Yeah.
09:53We were clowning.
09:54We keep waiting for a new reputation bodysuit, just for funsies.
09:59If she were to have a new reputation bodysuit, what would you want it to look like?
10:06This is the new one.
10:07This is the new one.
10:08This is the new one.
10:09Yeah.
10:10Oh, it doesn't look bad at all.
10:17No, it does.
10:18It does.
10:19See this?
10:20It's got to come up.
10:21It has to come up because they think my boobs are here, but they're here.
10:24You know?
10:25The original catsuit was made from a different fabric.
10:30That was all the fabric that there was in the world.
10:32So we had to recreate the fabric for the second one.
10:35And for this one.
10:36I know what you mean.
10:37Yeah, it's just really annoying and I have to do really athletic shit in this.
10:40We thought we could fix it because there was no time for them to actually recreate a new one in time for Miami.
10:46They couldn't do it.
10:47Also, the owner...
10:48the owner...
10:49the owner...
10:50the owner...
10:51...busy, the owner...
10:52the owner...
10:53the owner...
10:54The owner...
10:55the owner...
10:56...τοnages...
10:57Well...
10:58You have a piece.
10:59That's it.
11:00Well.
11:01Oh, yeah.
11:02No!
11:03What?
11:04Oh, yeah.
11:05What!
11:06What!
11:07You have a piece!
11:09Sit!
11:14Oh!
11:15What!
11:16What!
11:17Actually, I've never done that before.
11:20Dude, that was great.
11:21I'm going to get one more time.
11:25This is the tour gift wall where at the end of each tour,
11:29we get a plaque thanking us for participating in the tour.
11:35This was my first tour with her.
11:37I started with Taylor in 2009.
11:39In the trajectory of my professional life and career,
11:44yeah, that's probably the zero to 60 right there.
11:48Strapped onto that rocket
11:49and have been able to do all of this with her, which is great.
11:57Remember this?
11:58Oh.
12:02It was her first birthday present from Taylor.
12:06It's got a little photo of Mommy and Sophie,
12:10Daddy and Sophie, and then Miss Taylor, as she calls her.
12:13Yes, Miss Taylor.
12:14We had both our kids while I was working for her,
12:17so she was kind of around both of the births,
12:20and I think that this was the first child.
12:23Yeah, it was the first kid born while in the band.
12:27And so, yeah, I think it was a special moment.
12:29Yeah.
12:30Yeah.
12:33It's so wonderful being able to carry a professional family with you
12:39as you go through phases of life,
12:41as you go through ups and downs and heartbreaks.
12:51There is such a special bond among the touring family.
12:55It's like having another family.
12:58They're the only other people really in the world who know what this is like.
13:01Before the show, after the show, on the off days, we are like this.
13:08And that's not normal.
13:10It's like she's handpicked these incredible people to be a part of this family.
13:19Most of the people I'm out here on the road with have known me since high school.
13:24But also, there are people that I just got to know in this phase of my life.
13:35Jeslyn is one of the most talented, resilient, loving people I've ever been around.
13:43She was the newest addition to our backup singers.
13:45I started with her reputation.
13:48I had never done a stadium tour before,
13:50and so the first show was just like,
13:54whoa, this is a lot of people.
13:56We've been singing together for a couple of years,
13:59and when Jeslyn got sick,
14:03it was the first blow that the tour family experienced emotionally.
14:09It was like completely unfathomable to us.
14:16Sucks.
14:16While on tour, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
14:25And obviously, it was devastating.
14:29But every weekend, we had a show, so I still flew to the next city,
14:33did a show with everyone,
14:35and like in the middle of the week when we weren't doing shows,
14:37I would fly back to L.A. and just had biopsies
14:40and just poked and frauded to learn really what I had to do treatment-wise,
14:44and then hopped back on stage and pretended like nothing was happening.
14:51I'll never forget when she told us.
14:53Everyone was just in shambles,
14:55and it's the not knowing.
14:58Here I go.
14:59When I let Taylor know, she came storming in with hugs and crying and just saying,
15:05I'm so sorry, and her mom said,
15:07you just take care of you and we'll be here when you're ready.
15:10So six months, I had to like take off and go through chemo, surgery.
15:22I had edema.
15:23I had like skin issues.
15:26I usually have all this curly hair.
15:30I lost about 75% of my hair.
15:35I felt and looked completely different.
15:38And just kind of watched my friends on live streams in the show.
15:44It was a hard one because we got to come be together for months.
15:50We love you, Jess.
15:51We miss you.
15:52We love you, Jess.
15:53She was home by herself.
15:55I miss you.
15:57Isolated from the family.
16:00We just wanted her to know that no matter what,
16:03under any circumstances,
16:05if she wanted to come back, she could.
16:12Goodbye treatment.
16:17I said, how quickly can I get back on tour after I'm done with radiation?
16:22My doctor said, that night.
16:25But you have to get back into shape.
16:28She literally finished radiation and got on a plane.
16:33I actually have a video of when we saw each other at the hotel.
16:36Just coming back to this joy-filled show and these people just emphasized even more how much we're a family.
16:48I cannot believe that she was back in a few months.
17:03The will to come back and do the hardest show ever, none of us could believe it.
17:10I still can't.
17:10Blacked out.
17:39Right, you just keep your body still.
17:43In no way do I ever apply this to my, at any point in the show.
17:50Just want to flag that as I do every time I have to do pull-ups.
17:53Five.
17:55There we go.
17:56And 12, that's it.
18:01Strong dislike.
18:03Two thumbs down.
18:04You have gotten stronger on those throughout the years.
18:07It's from all the pent-up rage and resentment I have for them.
18:10So you leave on Thursday night?
18:12Thursday morning, go there, do a full run-through in the stadium, which I'm really excited about with costumes.
18:21I want to be like back in it so much that I can like not be so like remember your stuff that you don't want to forget.
18:29Like, you know, you don't want to see me do this without a rehearsal.
18:33That's what you don't want.
18:34Yeah.
18:38There are a lot of things that we pulled off on this tour that I've never even attempted on past tours.
18:42I think the longest show I ever did before was two hours and 15 minutes.
18:48Five.
18:49I never would have believed you if you would have told me we would be doing a three and a half hour show.
18:54Now, saying that is one thing.
18:57Doing that physically is another.
18:59I've never worked out this much in my life.
19:02It's horrible.
19:03I feel too late.
19:06Got nothing in my brain.
19:08I really had to up my game in terms of physical training.
19:13What?
19:14You're strong.
19:16Six months ahead of my first rehearsal, running on the treadmill every single day at the tempo of the songs that I was playing while singing them out loud.
19:29You just don't want them to see you panting.
19:321989 and Reputation are very high cardio.
19:36Anything's hard when you're scaling a stage that goes the entire length of an NFL stadium.
19:43I think I run like eight miles in the show.
19:48Once we get to Miami, the turnaround time from landing and performing will be very short.
19:55We leave in six days.
19:57Haven't played the show in a couple months.
19:58And there are some things I want to make sure that I don't mess up.
20:03My ex-man brought his new girlfriend.
20:06She's like, oh my god.
20:08I'm just gonna shake into the fella over there.
20:10What the hell I did here?
20:12Won't you come on up and baby, make me shake, shake, shake.
20:23All right.
20:24All right.
20:24Can I do a video, um, like out in the stadium with my cat?
20:41We'll find a place out in the stadium, but it'll be like me walking in with my cat, just like take my sunglasses off.
20:50And like, so it would be behind me.
20:53And then once I stopped, start going around me like this.
20:57It's basically like we're back in the office, you know?
21:01Yeah, yeah, for sure.
21:02And I've got my most well-behaved cat for it.
21:14She is my best one.
21:20What an idiot.
21:22Oh, shirts on backwards.
21:24I knew something looked weird.
21:26It's wild being back.
21:32So it's lots of hugging, telling the same story like 50 times as far as what you've been up to over the break.
21:36It's awesome.
21:36It's awesome to be back.
21:37It doesn't feel like work.
21:38Florida.
21:39One, two, three, four.
21:40We are starting our last leg of this tour.
21:44We have 18 more shows left, which is very bittersweet.
21:48It's very sad.
21:49We're cramming.
21:58Yeah, cramming for the test at Miami Stadium.
22:01I'm a little nervous, but, you know, it's because we want it to be good.
22:07Oh, man.
22:08Well, we'll see.
22:09We'll see what I remember.
22:14I keep thinking today is a show day.
22:16Huh?
22:16I keep thinking today is a show day.
22:18It is a show day.
22:19It is a show day.
22:20In my brain, it has to be a show day.
22:22I have got to, like, plan.
22:25I need to do a full run-through because my brain just, it's like I can't remember a single part of the show.
22:31We should all treat tonight like a show day.
22:33Show day.
22:36Fitting time.
22:38What are you trying to do?
22:40Oh, when are you bringing out the rep?
22:42That's what I was about to say.
22:44Are we actually going to get to see it?
22:45I know.
22:45I'm like, I got really excited all of a sudden.
22:47I got to see if this can even happen because they put my boob cups on my ribcage.
22:55Either way, I want to see it.
22:57It's so beautiful.
22:59It's not that beautiful the way it fits me now.
23:02It fits, it fits, it fits, it fits, it fits, it fits.
23:15I don't know how you guys manage this.
23:18What if it's for her boobs?
23:20Oh, wait.
23:21Oh, wait.
23:23How does it fit so well?
23:25This is beautiful.
23:26I'm really glad they're here to document this.
23:28It's so good.
23:28They documented the other the other way.
23:30Oh, it's perfect.
23:33It is.
23:34Nothing's going to pop out.
23:35And look, it's like, it's in the, how is it in the right spot?
23:39Because Diana's a genius.
23:40You guys took the cups out?
23:41What happened?
23:42It kind of hit perfectly.
23:43Oh, it's now my favorite.
23:46I didn't see this coming.
23:47Oh, my gosh.
23:48I'm shocked.
23:50That's amazing.
23:51What?
23:52This, I don't know.
23:53I don't know.
23:54I don't know.
23:55I don't know how you did it.
23:58I truly don't.
24:00When I tell you guys that the bra was in a corset here,
24:05like a second row of others.
24:09Oh, I'm so excited.
24:10I'm so excited.
24:11I've never had an alternate outfit for the reputation section.
24:15Not once.
24:16People are going to lose their mind.
24:18As we were getting ready to go back into the shows again,
24:42Taylor was like, Mom, I'm really worried.
24:44I'm trying to go back in my mind and run through the show.
24:48And I get to certain spots and it just stops.
24:51And I said, don't worry about it.
24:54I said, you're going to get back on that stage and everything will come flooding back.
24:59I guarantee it.
25:00And I hoped that I was right.
25:02But I didn't know.
25:05Performing that show is incredibly technical and hard.
25:09This tour isn't kind of like, oh, we just fly by the seat of our pants around here.
25:13No, like, we stage manage the shit out of this show.
25:18We're dealing with lots of production elements.
25:22Lighting, screen content, pyro, moving floors, confetti, costumes, choreography.
25:31There's so many moving parts and it has to be no mistakes.
25:37Perfect timing.
25:40There's a lot going on that happens really fast.
25:44A lot of fast cues from one end of the stage to the other.
25:49See piano lift up.
25:51Go.
25:51It's nerve wracking.
25:523.3 UFO.
25:55Go.
25:57Go.
25:58Go.
25:59Go.
26:00It takes a lot to get the right stuff out at the right times.
26:07So we all have to communicate well.
26:09We're always moving.
26:12The wings can be challenging.
26:14We have had incidences where they broke.
26:17If there's high winds, it gets really hard for them because it's super heavy.
26:23Q4301.
26:25Go.
26:25Go.
26:25Go.
26:30She's singing and having to engage and having to figure out what's coming next.
26:37She has some flexibility in where she might go.
26:41But there are some times when it's very exact.
26:44And if she's not standing in the right place, it's actually dangerous.
26:47I don't want to fall in a hole and I don't want to have like pyro go off on my head.
26:52I legitimately celebrate like every moment that something doesn't go wrong.
26:56Everybody is firing on all cylinders.
27:01It's not alone in this place.
27:05I don't cater to all these wipers dressed in El Paso.
27:09I work in the wardrobe department.
27:17And I also am one of Taylor's dressers.
27:21There's two of us.
27:23Every alpha change is about a minute and 15 or less.
27:29Our fastest quick change, though, is 39 seconds with her in the room.
27:34Those quick changes are like nothing you've ever seen before.
27:37It is like watching a NASCAR race.
27:44How many quick changes does she have?
27:4620 quick changes.
27:48Our crew helped us build four quick change booths.
27:52From there, we kind of travel through the underworld of the stage.
27:56It's all very, very fast.
28:00We don't really have time for snags.
28:03It's very choreographed.
28:05Every second counts.
28:06Every millisecond counts.
28:07There were moments where I thought,
28:12I don't know if these costume changes are going to happen in time.
28:17I'm only off the stage for a maximum of two minutes at a time.
28:21Those transitions, it's like I'm going under the stage.
28:24I'm getting on a weird, like, pulley system.
28:27I'm getting pulled over here.
28:29Meanwhile, I'm unzipping my thing.
28:31I'm running upstairs.
28:32I'm going into a different quick change room on a whole different floor.
28:35I'm ripping this off.
28:36I'm putting this on.
28:38Stomp your feet three times.
28:39It's literally the most complicated system.
28:43You have no idea the panic of worrying you're not going to be dressed in time for the song to start.
28:49And it is that panic that drives me to never be late.
28:59I remember one time I was running from the Evermore era.
29:02I trip over the hem of my dress, bust my knee, I skid the palm of my hand off, hobble into the quick change room.
29:15Blood's coming down my hand.
29:17I'm changing into the reputation bodysuit.
29:20The skin that's flapping off, I just pull it off.
29:23More blood.
29:24But they don't have a Band-Aid back there.
29:26Dun, dun, dun.
29:28Wasn't late.
29:30Wasn't late for the intro of that song.
29:34The fans noticed it a couple days later.
29:36They're like, oh, her palm's gone.
29:39I was like, I am not acknowledging this.
29:42What?
29:42Nothing's wrong.
29:44It's always been like that.
29:45What are you doing?
29:49I thought you said she might want to go back up.
29:51Doesn't matter.
29:52You guys, we need to get out.
29:53Straight in.
29:55It was really good, but I made three mistakes, and I'm so glad I made it in a rehearsal.
29:59You know what I mean?
29:59Yeah.
30:00Can I talk to the dancers real quick about how I'm supposed to fall off that thing?
30:04Because I've completely forgotten.
30:05Can you hold Balen for me?
30:08Yeah, she'll just remind me, and I'll just do it right.
30:11Good.
30:11Going up.
30:13Jazz hands.
30:15Jazz hands.
30:15Look at that full moon.
30:18So funny.
30:19It's gorgeous.
30:22Hi.
30:24Three mistakes in three, three and a half hours.
30:27That's not too bad.
30:28It's been way worse before.
30:29That's almost nothing.
30:30It's way, way better than I thought it would be.
30:31Good job.
30:31My first mistake was.
30:33Tell me.
30:33Is it, baby, let the games begin.
30:37Let the games begin.
30:38Let the games begin.
30:39Are you ready for it?
30:40That's it.
30:41That's it.
30:41Yeah.
30:42I went too early.
30:44That's okay.
30:44Okay.
30:45Fairly's hell.
30:46What about your quiet treason?
30:48Yes.
30:49Yes, yes, yes, yes.
30:49And for a fortnight there, we were forever running to you sometimes.
30:55Okay.
30:56And then.
30:57Do you need me?
30:58No, I really, really, really do for this next part.
31:01Because I still cannot remember what happens for my fall for midnight rain.
31:05Which hand?
31:07I know that I go, he was sunshine, I was midnight.
31:11I think it's this one.
31:12I reach out for, I can't remember.
31:13Sunshine, uh, yes, that's right.
31:16Do you want to try that one tomorrow?
31:19Just the lift?
31:20He was sunshine, I was midnight.
31:22Yes.
31:23I do want to try it.
31:25Yeah.
31:25Yeah, just for good luck.
31:26Just so that I can confidently fall.
31:28Yeah, yeah.
31:29Eight feet.
31:30I just, sometimes I get, like, a cat stuck in a tree.
31:33Yeah, but you haven't done it for two months.
31:35Ah!
31:36Yeah.
31:37It's going to be great.
31:40Good morning, South Florida.
31:41We have that full moon.
31:43It is going to cause coastal flooding.
31:45We're also under wind advisory.
31:46We have winds expected to gust up to 35 miles per hour.
31:49And around 7 p.m., Swifties, heads up if you're headed to the concert.
31:52Hang on to your umbrella.
31:53Even the potential for downpours headed through the evening and tonight.
31:56Don, I'm fine with you.
31:58Good to see you again.
31:59Good to see you again.
31:59Nice to meet you.
31:59Hi, Ryan.
32:00Hey, Ryan.
32:01Good to meet you.
32:02Why don't we do a quick review on what we're seeing for weather for these next few days?
32:06All right.
32:07Sounds good.
32:08The main concern pretty much for every day this weekend is going to be the winds.
32:12Today, we've already had gusts to around 30 across the area.
32:16Chances of wind gusts to around 35 miles per hour.
32:20I don't know what you guys have been seeing in the stadium itself, down in the bowl.
32:24We haven't seen anything over 20 in the last 24 hours.
32:27That's good to know because it has been higher outside the bowl.
32:31The weather element of playing outdoor stadiums is at times delightful and exciting.
32:39At times, it is frustrating.
32:42At times, it feels really, really horrific.
32:46Looking at precipitation right now, it looks like as you go on later in the day, the chances
32:52for showers start to increase.
32:54Like, that's how much crazy weather we've run into on this tour.
32:57This is the rainiest rain show that ever rain showed ever, ever, ever.
33:19So, um, weather components I don't enjoy.
33:25Extreme wind.
33:26Do not like it.
33:27Do not love it.
33:29Do not like to see the speakers doing this.
33:31Hate that.
33:32Don't want it.
33:33When you hear the word lightning, that's when we start having to really worry about postponements.
33:40We also have the lightning detection system.
33:44And this, you can come in here, monitor it.
33:47Come and go as you please.
33:49All right?
33:50We're good.
33:51Yep.
33:52Then you get situations where sometimes it's kind of wonderful.
33:58Just cinema.
33:59Just drama.
34:01Just, it adds to it.
34:02It adds to the show if there aren't other weather situations at play.
34:08Did they want to go straight up to stage for the fall?
34:14Yeah, let's go.
34:14Erica's with us.
34:21Oh, hello.
34:22Hi, hi.
34:23Hi, guys.
34:24Hey.
34:25All you do is you twist, and then they'll catch you.
34:30Okay.
34:30Easy.
34:31And no matter which way you go, they're going to catch you.
34:33So if by chance you happen to have left your left, they're still going to get you.
34:38I will definitely do that.
34:40I always remembered Mike out.
34:42Yep.
34:42Okay.
34:43Want to try it again?
34:44Yeah.
34:44Okay.
34:45Okay.
34:46Because he was sunshine, I was midnight.
34:50Beautiful.
34:51Yeah.
34:51That's what it was.
34:53Thanks, guys.
34:54Sorry about that.
34:55No, no, no.
34:55Don't worry.
34:56See you later.
35:00See you later.
35:01First song I'm going to do is, this is me trying, and then I'm going into Daylight.
35:13Here we go.
35:31I've been having a hard time adjusting
35:44Had the shiniest wheels, now they're resting
35:48Didn't know if you'd care if I came back
35:52Have a lot of regrets about that
35:55Pulled the car off the road to the lookout
35:58Could have followed my fears all the way down
36:02Maybe I don't quite know what to say
36:05But I'm here in your doorway
36:07I just wanted you to know
36:10This is me trying
36:13I just wanted you to know
36:18This is me trying
36:20And I can still see it all in my mind
36:28All the you, all the me intertwine
36:30Once believed love would be black and white
36:34But it's golden
36:36And I can still see it all in my head
36:40Back and far from New York sneaking in your bed
36:44I once believed love would be burning red
36:47But it's golden
36:49Like daylight
36:51Like daylight
36:54Like daylight
36:58Daylight
37:02Cause I don't wanna look at anything else now that I saw you
37:08I don't wanna think of anything else now that I thought of you
37:12I don't wanna think of anything else now that I thought of you
37:14I've been sleeping so long in a twenty year dark night
37:20When I would see daylight
37:23When I would see daylight
37:24I only see daylight
37:27I only see daylight
37:29I only see daylight, daylight, daylight, daylight, daylight
37:33I only see daylight, daylight, daylight, daylight
37:37I only see daylight, daylight, daylight, daylight
37:41I just wanted you to know that this is me trying.
37:48I just wanted you to know that this is me trying.
38:07I love all of you guys so, so much.
38:10And I feel heard and seen and loved.
38:13And there's one thing I admire many things about you,
38:18but there's one thing that I'll never forget.
38:20I came to your birthday last year,
38:23and I actually tripped on the sidewalk.
38:26I fell on my face, like, in front of paparazzi that were outside.
38:32I was dealing with side effects and stuff.
38:34But when you introduced me to everyone, you said,
38:38Guys, this is Jessalyn. We sing together.
38:46I said, hmm, that's a way to put it.
38:48That's exactly what it is.
38:51No one, no one says that.
38:54And I think that's, it just says something about who you are and how humble you are and how you like to shed light on people.
39:04And, like, make them feel bigger than they think they are.
39:09And in that moment, I needed that.
39:11It's never a me, it's always a we.
39:16And I think that it just makes me feel like, like, we are the only we that will ever be on the biggest fucking tour in the world.
39:25Oh, that was beautiful.
39:37Now I'm ready.
39:38Let's go.
39:41Let's go.
39:43Let's go.
39:45Let's go.
39:47Let's go.
39:54Let's go.
39:56Let's go.
40:00Let's go.
40:02Let's go.
40:06Let's go.
40:24Let's go.
40:26Let's go.
40:28Let's go.
44:25I'm very well aware of mysterious forces at play that I will never have any control of.
44:55So all I can ever do is say to myself, I'm going to use every tool in my tool kit. I'm going to paint with every single brush I've got. I'm going to be as detail oriented as possible. I'm going to try as hard as I possibly can to give these people everything that they want.
45:12But sometimes there's something that happens that's amazing. That's not something you can plan for and not something that you can manufacture.
45:30You know, it's like, there's still got to be some like magical, beautiful mystery to life.
45:51It's time to pour out. He can't wait.
