00:41to be 20 used to be 20 we used to go to the ritz for dinner 20 of them including the prince and
00:46princess of wales back then the king when he was prince wales um so when i was there it was 90 to
00:50100 and you'd arrive and you'd be given a drink and what was extraordinary for me
00:56was suddenly there you are mixing with the prince of wales the duchess of colmo william and harry
01:02i remember standing with william and harry and a magician came up and started doing these kind of
01:06um magic tricks and kind of one had to give him something i don't know what he had to give him
01:11so he could use it for magic trick and william was a bit worried he wasn't going to get this back
01:14as you know magician take things off and you what was going to happen to it and this kind of thing
01:18so a lot of fun a lot of kind of um laughter um the boys were great william and harry were on great
01:25forum and then it was a sit down meal back then and i remember going into this room the other room
01:31where all the tables were set up and i sat with uh william um harry was at one of the tables behind
01:38me and the king was directly behind me and i think it's probably my very first christmas party
01:44and it was ever so cool kind of i remember thinking and never in a million years that i think i've sit
01:50down and have lunch with william you know because i'm there as a butler and there suddenly i'm sitting
01:55being served by the staff having lunch with william i mean it was it was ever so cool and um but what i
02:02do remember this which i think i've mentioned in the book was what caught me off guard was
02:07william started blowing up initially blowing these balloons up and send them over to me you know like
02:15you know you blow up and you let the air out and you just and i was kind of this i was doing this
02:18back to him thinking am i supposed to do this because i was so confused this whole situation
02:24and then he was doing it to his father trying to hit his father and then harry then started doing
02:29it um and then decided putting water into the the balloons and then you had you had um water kind
02:37of um coming out of the balloons as they were going to cross it was it was crazy but fun
