00:00Handa ang House Ethics Committee na tumanggap ng mga reklamo laban sa mga kongresista na iniuugnay sa budget insertions at flood control scandal,
00:08kung saan isa sa mga pinakabagong idinadawit dito ang Bicol Saro Party List ni Congressman Terry Ridon.
00:15Bagamat ang kongresista pumalaga ang detalye sa report ni Mela Les Moras.
00:20Nanindigan si House Committee on Public Accounts Chair Terry Ridon na walang dahilan para siya'y magbitiw sa pwesto.
00:31Ito ay bilang tugon sa panawagan ni Batangas 1st District Representative Leandro Leviste na mag-resign na siya bilang pinuno ng Public Accounts Panel.
00:41Iniuugnay kasi ni Leviste ang Bicol Saro Party List na kinakatawa ni Ridon sa malalaking kontraktor na dapat na anyang maimbestigahan.
00:48Talagang we had been very fair and we had been able to contribute to the truth telling that we had been seeing in the flood control controversy.
01:00We had been firm and fair and there is no reason for me to actually resign on the matter.
01:07But if he would want me to recuse, kung yan po ang gusto niyang gawin,
01:11if we will do an investigation for example, o yung sinasabi niyang Bicol Gold Rock,
01:17I think wala naman yung problema doon.
01:19Pero I think resignation is out of the question.

01:34na nakuha niya mula kay Yumaong DPWH Undersecretary Maria Catarina Cabral.
01:40Iniuugnay din kasi rito ni Leviste si Ridon,
01:42bagamat hindi pa siya kongresista noong panahong iyon.

01:52Alam ko maraming gustong bagong kwentong gawin po si Congressman Leviste.
01:57Pero unahin muna niya yung pong mga tanong hoon natin sa kanya

02:05pangalawa, aminin muna niya na nag-fake news siya at nagsinungaling siya
02:09na meron po akong 150 million insertion for the 2025 national budget.

02:29Ayon kay House Committee on Ethics Chair J.C. Abalos,
02:32kahit sino maaari ring maghain ng reklamo sa kanilang kumite ukol dito.
02:37Well, anything that infringes upon the dignity and integrity of the institution
02:42can be a ground for an ethics complaint.
02:45And mas ka sino po pwede mag-file ng case.
02:48So, these things on insertions or anomalous infrastructures,
02:52these are things that can possibly fall under the jurisdiction of the Committee on Ethics.
