00:00Hello, everybody, and welcome to Giants Live.
00:22We're in Sacramento, California,
00:24counting down to this year's World's Strongest Man finals.
00:27Currently, some of the most powerful men on the planet
00:29trying to win their places here on the Giants Live qualifying tour.
00:33And for today's action, we head now to London for the Strongman Classic.
00:37It features a stacked line-up of athletes
00:39and also a particularly special setting, the Royal Albert Hall.
00:52Radzi, it's time.
00:53Mark, I don't think I can do it.
00:59I've only got one take at this.
01:01You can do it. Come on.
01:03Roger that. Can't believe he's 59.
01:05Thanks, Big Tell.
01:07The Royal Albert Hall in 1867.
01:08It took four years and six million red bricks
01:12to create this architectural masterclass called the Royal Albert Hall.
01:16It was the dream of Prince Albert, but the dedication of Queen Victoria.
01:20And since Her Majesty,
01:22every single reigning monarch has attended a show here.
01:25Two Edwards, two Georges, a Charles and an Elizabeth.
01:29And as well they might, because adorning these walls,
01:31evidence of the pantheon of pop culture.
01:35Jimi Hendrix, Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Beyoncé.
01:39Eric Clapton performed here 200 times.
01:41Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Jay-Z, Led Zeppelin, Luciano Pavarotti.
01:47Muhammad Ali even competed in an exhibition boxing bout here.
01:51Albert Einstein performed one of his lectures here.
01:55And Winston Churchill even orated his wartime speeches
01:59right in this very special place.
02:02And as for what happened in 1901,
02:04well, that was the first ever global bodybuilding competition
02:07with none other than Eugene Sandow.
02:10One of the judges that day was the author of Sherlock Holmes' Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
02:21Going up.
02:43Ground floor.
02:45Not awkward at all, but how about Giants Live?
02:52Well, that itself has left an indelible mark on an iconic structure.
02:57What a place this is.
02:59World records have been set courtesy of Giants Live.
03:02And how about the loudest noise ever recorded in its over 150-plus year history?
03:11Incredible.
03:12But how, I hear you ask.
03:13Well, that's courtesy of the passion of the strength, athletics fans.
03:18Because when special things happen, we get a special response.
03:22Don't believe me?
03:23Take a listen to this.
03:27Royal Albert Hall, welcome to the best fans in the world!
03:33I love Royal Albert Hall as a venue.
03:43I think it's most iconic.
03:56Like, it sort of embodies where we were in the past.
04:00But in the past, we were a circus show that was adjacent to the royal activities.
04:04And now, we're a legitimate sport being recognized that way in one of the most iconic venues in England.
04:13Getting the opportunity to compete at the Royal Albert Hall, it's just absolutely crazy.
04:16Like, this is the one.
04:17It's very humbling when I think about everybody that has been on the stage at the Royal Albert Hall, and now I can count myself amongst one of those great, great people in history.
04:28It's something that I hold very close to my heart.
04:30It makes me feel like all of the sacrifices were worth it.
04:38It's a laundry list.
04:42I mean, I've lost girlfriends.
04:45I've lost jobs.
04:46I've been homeless.
04:47I've lived in my car.
04:48But I continue to pursue this crazy dream of being a professional strongman anyway, and it's led me to the most prestigious coliseum-like theater in the entire world.
05:00I feel like I'm still a rising star.
05:09Obviously, I've had almost a dream year.
05:11It's been absolutely unbelievable.
05:13I've done things I never thought I would.
05:16Every show I'm coming to, I'm feeling stronger, faster.
05:19I mean, we're just getting better all the time, which is just what I want to keep doing for the next 15 years or so.
05:24Like, my mother was the one when I said in 2023 that I'm going to quit my pretty good job in finance to pursue a career of lifting rocks in my garage.
05:35I think it took a lot for her to sort of, I know she always believed in me and she gave me that, like, you do, like, you can always get back to that life.
05:43But I agree, like, you've got to go for it.
05:45And ever since I quit my job, that was, for me, the turning point.
05:50It meant I could really focus on it, and it just became my life and all-consuming.
05:53I think that the younger me would realize a little bit more that he is worth it and that he is enough and that there's an entire crowd waiting to cheer him on when he goes out there and does what he loves.
06:15I think that that would mean everything to the child version of me.
06:23Well, you can see just how much this event and this venue means to these men.
06:42My heart racing.
06:43But who else have we shoved on the minibus and driven to the Royal Albert Hall?
06:50I've seen him already.
06:52A very special guest here trying to break the Hercudys hold world record tonight, Mark Felix.
07:04Making his debut.
07:07The winner of the official Strongman Games last year, Nick Gardione.
07:10From South Africa, former rugby player, it's Jaco Schoenwinkel.
07:22And another South African, two-time Africa's Strongest Man, Rayne O'Neill.
07:29Mr. Ben!
07:30Did so well at Britain's Strongest Man recently, known as Big Ben, Ben Glascott.
07:39Two-time World's Strongest Man athlete, former collegiate football player, Spencer Remick.
07:45Reigning America's Strongest Man, a brilliant loglifter, Lucas Hatton.
07:55The 2023 Europe's Strongest Man came third in this event last year, handsome Pablo Cordiaca.
08:06We're so pleased this guy's back.
08:08Came third, Europe's Strongest Man, it's Kieloskovsky.
08:15There was a prize for the most surprising Strongman and most improved.
08:20That'd be this guy, Paddy Haynes.
08:22Pound for pound, arguably the Strongest Man in the world when it comes to pure, raw power, Trey Mitchell.
08:28He's won five Giants Live titles before the former WWE wrestler, Evan Singleton.
08:39And this guy, well, he's set world records in this amazing hall.
08:43The man to beat tonight, former World's Strongest Man, Mitchell Hooper.
08:53So those are your Strongmen, why not pick a favourite and have a tattoo done?
08:58And this is the first event, Danny, the Log Medley.
09:02120 kilos up to 180 kilos.
09:05Five logs, 60 seconds to press them all out.
09:08So far, we've seen Cordiaca take the lead with four in 32 seconds.
09:13No one has done all five yet.
09:17So next up in the Log Medley, a mighty pairing.
09:21Of T-Rex, Evan Singleton.
09:28Looking serene.
09:30Oh, not so much.
09:31Up against the return of the Terminator, Matthias Kielskowski.
09:36Kielskowski.
09:41Lucas Hatton, America's Strongest Man, giving him some encouragement.
09:44Great luck pressure himself, of course, Conor.
09:47Absolutely, yeah.
09:49Probably the favourite for this event, actually.
09:52And it's Kielskowski, who we saw at Europe's Strongest Man has overcome that triceps injury.
09:58It looks really strong now in the overhead press again.
10:02It's great the way he flicks it straight from his hips up overhead.
10:05That's the normal technique that Singleton's doing.
10:08And on to the fourth.
10:11Four and 32 seconds to beat.
10:13He's done that.
10:14Kielskowski takes the lead.
10:17Well, Kielskowski takes on the fifth.
10:19It's a solid work from Evan Singleton, but Kielskowski on the right-hand side.
10:26Wow.
10:29Oh, surely.
10:31He manages it, as does T-Rex.
10:34He was under pressure there.
10:35T-Rex was catching five in 45.25.
10:39There's our new leader.
10:42And five in 47.22 for Singleton.
10:45He'll be delighted with that.
10:46Look at the way he lifts these logs.
10:51Snatches it up, just rolls it up from the hips and keeps going.
10:55Saves him so much time.
10:57And the last one, well, he had to take it to his chest there.
11:02Impressive stuff.
11:03But there's the early leader then.
11:04But coming up at the Royal Albert Hall,
11:06there's more big dogs taking on big logs in our opening event,
11:10including the reigning champion.
11:12That's next on the Strongman Classic.
11:16Well, welcome back
11:27to the Royal Albert Hall
11:30as we continue.
11:32We can log medley.
11:34Trey Mitchell up next.
11:35Incredibly strong man.
11:37Former farmhand in Texas.
11:41Going up against, well,
11:42the reigning America's strongest man,
11:46Lucas Hatton.
11:48Fantastic at this event.
11:51He's about as tall as he is wide.
11:53He's really a unique shape.
11:55Lucas, look at the legs on him.
11:56This guy can just about press anything.
11:59Well, absolutely.
12:00Not so good at the hurdles, though,
12:04as he moves on to the second.
12:07Got his leg over eventually.
12:09There we go.
12:11Now then, Trey Mitchell.
12:13Just about matching, I think,
12:15for power here.
12:16Certainly can from the shoulders.
12:17Look at that.
12:18Number three flies up.
12:21Hatton looking really good, though.
12:22Ooh, tried to snatch it
12:24from the waist
12:24and nearly got caught.
12:25Well, it's 45 seconds to beat
12:27as laid down by Kieliszkowski
12:29and Hatton.
12:32I wouldn't bet against him.
12:35Easy.
12:37Mitchell might do it as well.
12:39He does.
12:41Well, that's fantastic
12:43from both Americans.
12:44Five in 43.22 for Trey Mitchell
12:46and five in 37.71 for Hatton.
12:49For Hatton, it's more
12:52of an Olympic movement.
12:53He's a bit more dynamic
12:54for Mitchell.
12:55It's just raw power and pressing.
12:59We'll remember
13:00the top three
13:02at the end of the title race
13:04automatically qualify
13:05for the World's Strongest Man finals.
13:08We've seen Hooper there.
13:11He took the overall title.
13:14Mighty Canadian.
13:15He can set his mind to anything.
13:19Really going head-to-head
13:21with Rayne O'Neill.
13:24Two-time Africa's Strongest Man
13:26and really one to watch.
13:29I mean, he's two-time Africa's Strongest Man.
13:30He's only been doing this sport
13:32two years.
13:33He's extraordinary.
13:35Goodness me.
13:37Wow.
13:40Hooper's just got to recover now.
13:41Just calm down.
13:43Get his heart rate down a little bit.
13:44That was a really bad start
13:46for the man who won here last year.
13:48He didn't just win.
13:49He actually broke two world records
13:51on the way to winning as well.
13:52So,
13:53I'm sure he can
13:54calm himself down here
13:56and
13:57start to catch up.
13:59Rayne O'Neill looks really great though.
14:01First time in a Giants live.
14:02Looks really solid.
14:04Oof.
14:06Did look really solid.
14:07Something wrong there
14:08with his right arm.
14:09And Mitchell did exactly
14:12what he needed to do.
14:13Just steady the ship.
14:16Now,
14:16can he get the fifth up?
14:17Looks like Nell is stuck
14:18on that fourth.
14:22And Hooper
14:22looks beaten.
14:25Has Nell got it?
14:27No.
14:28No.
14:30Nell managed to three
14:3121.44 seconds.
14:35Surprising.
14:36Surprising also with Hooper.
14:38Four.
14:3934.97.
14:40And that means
14:42that Lucas Hatton
14:43takes this event.
14:45This is a bad moment
14:46for Hooper,
14:47I think we can say.
14:47You can't teach that.
14:50Nor would you want to.
14:51But Lucas Hatton
14:52is with Razzie now.
14:54Lucas Hatton.
14:55It was almost like
14:56hurdling the log
14:57was the biggest obstacle.
14:58Lifting it wasn't an issue.
14:59Yeah,
15:00I'm six foot
15:01but I got a 30 inch inseam
15:02so
15:02these short legs
15:04it was about all I had
15:04to get over the logs.
15:05Almost bit it on the first one.
15:07But it held the pace.
15:08I knew Trey was right behind me.
15:09And I got it done.
15:11It was a close one
15:11but talking about your size
15:13statically
15:14for those at home
15:14statically
15:15you're one of the strongest men
15:16on earth period
15:17amongst these guys.
15:18Yeah
15:19and Trey
15:19I'm glad I was with him
15:21because he's really
15:21the only guy
15:22in that category
15:23especially pressing
15:24that can really push me.
15:25And I'm excited
15:26for future shows
15:27me and him
15:27are going to push
15:27on events like Log
15:28for years to come.
15:30I'm very excited for today.
15:31Thanks for your time.
15:34Lucas looking limber
15:35on the timber there.
15:36Six seconds faster
15:37than Trey Mitchell.
15:38Kieloskoski and Singleton
15:39the only other men
15:40to make all five lifts.
15:42Hooper down in seventh.
15:44Over to Radzi
15:44for event two.
15:47The Hercules hold.
15:49An iconic event
15:50in an iconic venue.
15:52It is the equivalent
15:53of a quarter of a ton
15:55in each hand.
15:57How these gentlemen
15:58do what they do
15:58is frankly preposterous.
16:00the world record
16:02goes back to 2020
16:03with one Mark Felix.
16:06What a feat that was.
16:08Could the record go
16:09again today?
16:11And where better
16:11for it to happen
16:12than the Royal Albert Hall,
16:14the Coliseum of Strength.
16:19Hercules hold.
16:21This is what it involves.
16:22250 kilos in each hand.
16:24The world record
16:25held by Mark Felix
16:26is 92.37 seconds.
16:31Well, anyone who gets
16:32over a minute
16:33is doing well.
16:34And so far,
16:35the top six
16:36are over one minute.
16:39But we still have
16:40some of the best to come.
16:41This man here,
16:44Mitchell Hooper,
16:46world's strongest man winner
16:47last year's
16:48Royal Albert Hall champion.
16:50Didn't have the best
16:51first event.
16:53Didn't have the best
16:54second event.
16:56Well, normally so good
16:57at this kind of thing.
16:58Just looked a little off.
17:02So, we move on
17:03with Paddy Haynes.
17:05The young Brit
17:07who has just
17:09incredible farmer boy
17:11grip strength.
17:13He'll be looking
17:13to bounce back
17:14after that opening event.
17:17Impressive,
17:18not his forte.
17:19But does have
17:20incredible grip strength.
17:25He looks pretty calm
17:26when you see the view
17:27he's looking out onto
17:28and all the people
17:29all around him
17:30at the Royal Albert Hall.
17:32He seems very chilled,
17:34but he'll be
17:34in a world of hurt
17:37right now
17:37as the lactic acid
17:38builds up
17:39at his forearms
17:40and his grip.
17:42Those handles
17:42start to pull
17:43out of his hands.
17:45The big shake
17:46will come on
17:46at some point,
17:47but right now
17:47holding firm.
17:50So, one minute
17:51ten to beat.
17:53A psychological game
17:54this, isn't it?
17:55We're going to dig deep.
17:57Find your happy place.
17:59This is very few
18:00people's happy place.
18:01It's starting to bite
18:04big time now.
18:04You can see he's shaking,
18:06he's moving around a bit,
18:07trying to just offload
18:08some of the pain
18:09onto other muscles
18:10in and around
18:10the shoulders and chest.
18:12I think he can beat
18:12one ten.
18:13No, he can't!
18:15Oh!
18:16Well, he wasn't far off
18:17and he's disappointed
18:18by that.
18:20Time stops
18:21when those pillars
18:22hit the ground.
18:24One minute and seven
18:24in the end.
18:25left hand went first.
18:33And of course,
18:34Mark Felix coming up soon
18:35here as a guest
18:36just for the Hercules
18:37hold, 59 years old.
18:43Evan Singleton
18:44just finds that
18:48grim determination
18:49so early on,
18:50squeezes his eyes shut.
18:55And he's one of these
18:56characters who can just
18:57go to a really,
18:58really dark place
19:00and find the determination
19:02to pull himself through.
19:04He's almost a little
19:05smile in his face
19:06of pleasure.
19:08That's the mentality
19:09you need for this
19:10kind of event.
19:11He's no stranger
19:12to blocking out pain.
19:18Breathing gently,
19:19just keeping the oxygen
19:21going in.
19:21He's past 30 seconds
19:23without a problem.
19:24He's got some
19:24enormous hands
19:25and they almost
19:25take up the whole
19:26handle there.
19:29Getting to a minute
19:30is extraordinarily hard.
19:35He just wants
19:36to let go
19:37but he won't.
19:451.10 still to beat.
19:48How close
19:48will Evan get to that?
19:50Will he blast
19:53past it?
19:54He shakes his head
19:55no, he's even
19:56trying to pull his arms
19:57in.
19:59Oh, he's just done it.
20:00Goodness me.
20:031.11
20:04So Evan Singleton
20:09wins that event.
20:11Yes indeed
20:11and now just the guest
20:13in this contest.
20:14Mark Felix to come.
20:16Evan Singleton
20:17did enough
20:18to beat the 1 minute
20:19and 10.
20:19By the time
20:20those pillars
20:21hit the floor
20:21he was the second
20:23clear and he takes
20:24event two.
20:28Evan, you know
20:29this venue
20:30extremely well.
20:30You've won here before.
20:32You've also pulled out
20:32injured here before.
20:33How good is it
20:34to be back
20:35performing as you are?
20:36Oh, it feels so good.
20:37It feels good
20:38to be able to put on
20:38all of the hard work
20:40and the sacrifices
20:40that I've went through
20:42on display
20:42for everybody here.
20:44This venue is amazing.
20:45This crowd is amazing.
20:46I want my title back.
20:48You're always intense
20:49but something tells me
20:50you're in a really
20:51good place.
20:52Yeah, yeah.
20:53A lot of things
20:54starting to really click
20:55in my personal life
20:56and my professional life.
20:58Things are going amazing
20:59and I couldn't ask
21:00for any better circumstance
21:01than to be out here.
21:02Go well today.
21:06Mark Felix then.
21:08He's back.
21:11Officially retired
21:12from Strongman
21:13but wanted to
21:14give this a crack.
21:17Almost 60 years old.
21:19That's right.
21:21He's an extraordinary
21:22human being, Mark.
21:23And when he broke
21:24that world record
21:25in 2020
21:25oof, there was a bit
21:27of a jerk there.
21:27He didn't have it
21:29particularly tight
21:30but then again
21:31it's Mark Felix.
21:32Look at the way
21:32he can wrap his fingers
21:33around the whole thing
21:34and lock it in.
21:35He's just got
21:36colossal hands.
21:39So his own
21:40world record stands
21:42at one minute
21:4432.
21:48I'll tell you what
21:49the way it jerked
21:50to the start there
21:51it looked a bit like
21:52it wasn't quite
21:53holding it tight enough

33:57schoonwinkel
33:58he wasn't
34:00giving up on

34:01no way
34:02again it's
34:03almost a face
34:03of pleasure
34:04with singleton
34:05he just
34:05loves it
34:06seven reps
34:10sees t-rex
34:10take third
34:11this time
34:12alongside
34:12mitchell hooper
34:13paddy haynes
34:14in second
34:14but taking the
34:15win with a
34:16mighty ten
34:16reps
34:17the big
34:17thicket
34:18trey mitchell
34:18he's with
34:19radsey
34:19trey mitchell
34:21that was
34:22absolutely
34:23phenomenal
34:23but a question
34:24usually you have
34:25the one rep
34:26max as your
34:26eddie halls
34:27then you have
34:28guys who are
34:28good for reps
34:29mark felix
34:30adam bishop
34:30you're both
34:31how are you
34:32doing that
34:32oh it's just
34:33practice so
34:34you know
34:35like i'll do
34:36one week
34:36where it's
34:37light for reps
34:38and the next
34:39week i'm
34:39pushing for
34:40the heavier
34:41weights
34:41so it's like
34:42basically trying
34:43to push
34:44both at the
34:44same time
34:45and building
34:45that base
34:46and then
34:47peaking for
34:47whichever
34:48competition
34:48i need
34:49the max
34:49you know
34:50i'll push
34:50that
34:50and then
34:51you know
34:52for competitions
34:52like giants
34:53live
34:53where it's
34:54more repetitions
34:54like i'll push
34:55the sets
34:56of reps
34:57good to talk
34:57to you trey
34:58thanks for your
34:58time
34:58yeah no problem
34:59trey moves up
35:01then to sixth
35:02place overall
35:02mitchell hooper
35:03to fifth
35:04while paddy
35:05haynes climbs
35:06into the podium
35:06positions
35:07but up top
35:08t-rex still
35:09dominates
35:09seven and a half
35:10points clear
35:11now
35:11is he on course
35:14is he on course
35:14for a sixth
35:15giants live
35:16title
35:16standing between
35:17singleton
35:18and another
35:18honour
35:19are the stones
35:20and some of the
35:21best stone
35:21lifters on the
35:22planet
35:23our strongman
35:24classic finale
35:25when we return
35:26welcome back to
35:35london
35:35it's been capital
35:37punishment for our
35:37strongmen so far at the
35:39royal albert hall
35:40a day that's pushed
35:41them to their limits
35:42now for the finale
35:43of the strongman
35:44classic
35:45with just the
35:47castle stones to go
35:48evan singleton
35:49has a commanding lead
35:50but with t-rex
35:51you never know
35:52skoonwinkel is second
35:53paddy haynes is third
35:55but facing a real
35:56challenge for the
35:57podium from the
35:57men behind him
35:58both hooper and
35:59mitchell are
36:00exceptional stone
36:01lifters
36:01let's hear now
36:02from paddy
36:03with radsey
36:04paddy haynes
36:06who knew
36:07that you were
36:07that good
36:08at the deadlift
36:09that was superb
36:10what has happened
36:11to you in the
36:11last 12 months
36:12yeah it's been
36:13been a real wild
36:14journey to be honest
36:14i think since europe's
36:15getting on that podium
36:16against such a strong
36:17lineup like my
36:18confidence has just
36:19skyrocketed since that
36:20um and yeah just
36:22just believing that i
36:23can actually do stuff
36:24and i belong here as
36:25opposed to having
36:26imposter syndrome and
36:26thinking how the hell
36:27have i done this
36:28it's like i know i can
36:29hold my own on most
36:30events now and it's
36:31just just living the
36:32dream
36:32you're more than
36:33holding your own
36:34you're very much
36:34flying the flag for
36:35england it does feel
36:37like a little bit of a
36:38changing almost of the
36:39guard in that the
36:40veterans that's one thing
36:41but the stars are really
36:43shining now with the
36:44youngsters like yourself
36:45yeah absolutely the new
36:46waves coming through i
36:47think that's very
36:48unavoidable now i think
36:49we're pretty much here
36:50and there are so many
36:51good athletes now in
36:52england and yeah i think
36:54i'm sort of leaving the
36:55charge now which is
36:56really really cool
36:56and just finally if you did
36:58shave off the tash does all
36:59the strength go i don't want
37:01to risk it i mean do you
37:02this is never going anywhere
37:04i can't grow on me
37:05so the castle stones the
37:09climax of this competition
37:10they get heavier and heavier
37:12up to 200 kilos how many
37:14can you lift and place in 60
37:17seconds here's who's gone so
37:19far only mitchell hooper so
37:21far has failed to get all five
37:23but rayne o'nell has done it
37:25fastest 24.46 to bit
37:31big moment then for paddy haynes
37:34as he takes on the official
37:36strongman games champion nick
37:38gardione when you think paddy
37:41after the log was down the
37:42bottom of the pile and he's
37:44clawed his way back up to a
37:46shot at the podium this is a
37:48massive moment for him oh my
37:51goodness me gardione messes up
37:52the first one haynes is flying
37:55on the right hand side for
37:56great britain here we go
37:57number four look how fast he's
38:00going as well 24.46 to beat
38:02he could win the stones goodness
38:06mess me certainly take the lead
38:08look at that well five in 22.88
38:12seconds that's very fast from
38:13the brit paddy haynes lending
38:16his encouragement now to nick
38:18gardione
38:19these stones are quite slippy and
38:23he just goofed up on the first
38:24platform and it slipped off that
38:27will have cost him not just time
38:28but energy
38:29he's struggling to get under
38:32this stone
38:33slipping in his hips there
38:39oh goodness me
38:43hopefully he hasn't uh smashed his
38:46face off that and uh well done
38:48paddy haynes for taking the lead
38:50just one pair to go i think that's
38:54cemented him on this podium
38:55i think so
38:57so our final pairing
39:01jaco schoonwinkel
39:02evan singleton
39:04i suppose we all have different
39:10ways of getting ourselves psyched up
39:13that's not one i choose
39:13it's not one we'd recommend
39:15now it's uh yeah what can you say singleton
39:21is just a force of nature my goodness me
39:25the blood is flowing now as he pops the third one up and i'm not sure it's helped him as
39:30jaco schoonwinkel goes for four schoonwinkel will make it onto the podium as well
39:35he won't be as quick as haynes but i think he's taken the silver all the same now then if singleton really screws up here could he lose his lead
39:46i think the whole head butting the plinth and bleeding profusely idea was on reflection of the stake
39:55no kidding and i think he's realizing that now as well
39:59well i think he's done four quicker than guardian and hooper quite that
40:04what that turns out to be in terms of points because he's done
40:08he hasn't done all five oh my goodness me has he grabbed defeat from the jaws of victory
40:13well that's the question has he done enough or did he throw it all away
40:18in a moment of madness
40:20oh my goodness me he's saying please please
40:25oh he's done it
40:26goodness me
40:27well it was a moment of madness
40:30it could have cost him much more
40:32and paddy haynes
40:35absolutely delighted
40:38they've met it's fine
40:40terrific result then for paddy haynes who beats the superstar south african
40:47nail into second but down in ninth singleton luckily beats three other men
40:52evan singleton moments before you go onto the podium and people at home don't necessarily know
41:00the journey that you've gone through what would the evan singleton now say to nine-year-old evan
41:07singleton growing up i know it's hard i know it seems like nobody cares that you matter you are good
41:14enough and you will be one of the best in the entire world just keep working and don't give
41:19up and what does that mean to you to know that you are now one of the best everything this is i've
41:24dedicated my entire life to this title i will win world's strongest man i will go down in history
41:30as one of the best americans and best strong man that has ever graced this planet evan well said
41:36congratulations you've done it mate thank you well it's hard to argue with him
41:42evan singleton then wins the strongman classic 2025
41:49you've got to ask what's next
41:53i think anything's possible for this man and what a podium schoonwinkel paddy haynes and this man on top
42:01the american evan singleton winner again at the royal albert hall
42:10which means well there's just one thing left to do colin i'd be honored if you would say the magic word
42:16you've got to do it montage time that's two words
42:30you
42:36you
42:40and the competition rolls on tomorrow at seven it's team peter versus team julian as the festivities get
