00:00THE END
00:03The END
00:07THE END
00:09OKAY.
00:12OH, WHAT DO WE GOT?
00:14MICHAEL JORDAN.
00:15OH, MIKE.
00:17CAN I PICK IT UP?
00:18OF COURSE.
00:19LOOK AT THIS.
00:21LOOK AT THAT ON-CARD AUTO,
00:23HAND-NUMBERED ONE OF ONE,
00:25I ALWAYS LOVE THAT.
00:26THAT'S A HUGE CELL POINT FOR ME.
00:28This was pulled in the old-school Japanese card shop.
00:34The clock is ticking.
00:35If we don't hit this goal for 10, it is going to be bad news.
00:39It's do or die here.
00:40I need 2 million, or else I don't get on that plane.
00:43So is this one coming to Golden?
00:50Of course.
00:51Of course. I love that answer.
00:53That's a fantastic answer.
00:55Two for one.
00:56Another?
00:56Dessert before dinner.
00:58Michael Jordan.
00:59Another Michael Jordan.
01:01Oh, my gosh.
01:02Nine-five.
01:03This is huge.
01:052005 exquisite collection, limited logos, number to 50.
01:11The 9.5 grade is impossible on these.
01:13I mean, we're talking 100,000 plus right there.
01:16So that's a massive card.
01:18I feel like the items you bring us and Golden just keep getting better and better.
01:22So, again, thank you so much, as always.
01:24It's, uh, it's amazing to work with you guys.
01:28Um, every time we work with you guys, every single card, every little item, a customer on our side has got a giant smile on his face.
01:36Or her face.
01:36That's amazing.
01:37Shall we eat?
01:38Let's please, yes.
01:39Manja.
01:39Let's do it.
01:40Manja.
01:41Manja.
01:41Manja.
01:42Manja.
01:42Manja.
01:43I'm leaving Japan knowing I did exactly what I wanted to do.
01:46I wanted to strengthen that already tight-knit partnership that I have with some of the best people from around the world.
01:52Struggling with the-the chopsticks stuff.
01:54My chopstick game is an absolute disaster.
01:57I'll finish eating next week.
01:59Konnichiwa.
02:00Konnichiwa.
02:01Uh, pork?
02:02Fork.
02:03Oh, fork?
02:04Yeah.
02:04Hork.
02:05Hork.
02:05Hork.
02:06Hork.
02:06Perfect.
02:07Thank you so much.
02:08I figured we'd have a typical Tokyo night, so we got a little spot picked out for us.
02:30Wow, look at this view.
02:31Look at the view.
02:32Is this view amazing, right?
02:33Holy moly, this is crazy.
02:35You look straight down, you might get a little scared.
02:37This is unbelievable.
02:38Wow.
02:39We came to Japan with a job to do, right?
02:42Well, guess what?
02:43We consigned over two million.
02:45We've kicked some ass in Asia.
02:48Think about it.
02:49People are gonna think of us not only number one in North America, but number one in Asia.
02:54Looking out and seeing everything we've done over the last week, we've reached our goal.
02:59Being on the front lines of that is just, there's nothing better.
03:02This is the first global trip we took together, but it's not gonna be the last.
03:06Okay?
03:07Yeah, let's go.
03:08So let's cheers.
03:09Let's go.
03:10Come on, please.
03:11Number one in the world.
03:12And again, on our way to Rebellion.
03:14Rebellion is the goal.
03:15Let's go.
03:16Come on.
03:17Carly, I got some really, really cool Star Wars stuff and I set it all up for you.
03:18Yeah.
03:19Go step on this so you can see it.
03:24What do you see?
03:25R2-D2.
03:26R2-D2.
03:27Luke Skywalker.
03:28Darth Vader.
03:29Yep.
03:30Stormtroopers.
03:31Chewbacca.
03:32You know what you see?
03:33R2-D2.
03:34R2-D2.
03:35R2-D2.
03:36Luke Skywalker.
03:37You're like him?
03:38Mm-hmm.
03:39Yes, you like Adam Driver.
03:40Yeah, why am I?
03:41What's up?
03:42Carly, I got some really, really cool Star Wars stuff and I set it all up for you.
03:45Yeah.
03:46Go step on this so you can see it.
03:47What do you see?
03:49R2-D2.
03:50R2-D2.
03:51R2-D2.
03:52Luke Skywalker.
03:53Dark Vader.
03:54Yep.
03:55Stormtroopers.
03:56Chewbacca.
03:57You know what these are?
03:58Luke Skywalker, and I forget who that is.
04:01C-3PO.
04:02Oh.
04:03I like him.
04:04You like him?
04:05Mm-hmm.
04:06Yes, you like Adam Driver.
04:07Hey, guys, what's going on?
04:08Did you check this stuff out?
04:09What we got over here.
04:11This is like vintage Star Wars consignments we've got in.
04:14Oh, this is awesome.
04:15This is really hot right now.
04:16You know, the movie stuff, it's one of the categories
04:19that we've got to grow at Golden.
04:21So I met this guy, Brad, owns this brand-new company
04:25in business maybe 18 months called Studio Auctions.
04:28They're very small, but they have really good stuff.
04:32Hey, Brad.
04:33How you doing?
04:34You've got a very interesting business out there in Burbank.
04:37With such a young company, how are you able to go out
04:40and get such big items?
04:42A lot of hard work, a lot of time away from home,
04:45and a few bucks all rolled into one.
04:49I'd like you guys to check it out.
04:50Are we gonna bring back some consignment, grab some stuff?
04:52I want you to check out the place.
04:54I want you to talk to the employees.
04:56I want all the information I can.
04:58Tell me, is it worth my time?
04:59Let's see what type of opportunity there is, okay?
05:01Awesome.
05:02We'll get you all the info.
05:03Absolutely.
05:04Thanks, guys.
05:05So, Carly.
05:06Yeah?
05:07You know what they have out there that they're gonna see?
05:08Take a look at that.
05:09Who's that?
05:10A 2-D2.
05:11He looks like he's almost as tall as me.
05:13Yes, he does.
05:15Woo!
05:16He makes noise.
05:17I talk a 2-D2.
05:19Me!
05:20I can do a little chewy.
05:21What's he doing?
05:22What?
05:23Is that what it is?
05:24No.
05:25No.
05:26What does he sound like?
05:27What's he go like?
05:28Oh.
05:29Move!
05:39Welcome to Golden.
05:41My name's Dallas Hawkman.
05:42I'm Amber Hawkman.
05:43So, I hit the Bo Nix Gold Vinyl one-of-one downtown.
05:47Ryan!
05:48Hey, there they are.
05:49I got Dallas and Amber here.
05:50Oh, my gosh.
05:51So good to meet you guys.
05:52I absolutely support his collecting.
05:54It's a fun hobby for him.
05:56And we both love football so much.
05:58I mean, this is a massive, massive card.
06:00And then he came into his rookie season,
06:02took Denver back to the playoffs,
06:03first time since the Super Bowl win in 2016.
06:06Yeah.
06:07Bo Nix was the 12th draft pick in the 2024 draft.
06:10He actually took the Denver Broncos to the playoffs
06:12for the first time in almost 10 years.
06:14He set multiple records for passing yards, touchdowns,
06:17and he's still just a young kid.
06:19Amber and Dallas hit a one-of-one downtown,
06:22which are the hottest cards in the hobby right now.
06:24This couple definitely might want to hold this card
06:26as, like, a long-term investment piece.
06:28I can't blame them if they want to,
06:29but I'm gonna feel it out.
06:30You hit this one, correct?
06:31I did, yeah, in a one-box break.
06:33One box.
06:34Yeah.
06:35I actually called off of work that day.
06:37No way.
06:3811 o'clock a.m., come across alive.
06:40Eight packs in, nothing.
06:41I'm like, can I get one base card, please?
06:43Right.
06:44Something.
06:45Something.
06:46And, uh, all of a sudden, boom.
06:48I'm just gonna quick rip it.
06:50Oh!
06:51Bo Nix, what a one downtown!
06:54Box breaking has gotten bigger and bigger every single year.
06:57It's a livestream.
06:58Tons of people, sometimes thousands of people,
07:00are tuning in.
07:01So, for me, when you see people like Amber and Dallas
07:03who hit that lottery,
07:04you kind of have to make sure that they understand
07:06this is not something that's going to probably ever happen again.
07:09I'm dying to see it.
07:10Can we at least check it out?
07:11Absolutely.
07:12I've heard about it.
07:13I just haven't seen it yet.
07:14So, I mean, it's...
07:15It's...
07:16Oh, my gosh.
07:17Look at that thing.
07:18It's unbelievable.
07:19It's unbelievable.
07:20People don't realize, with the gold vinyls,
07:22they're impossible cards to grade.
07:24Yeah.
07:25With that surface, it's so easy to nick a corner and edge.
07:27There's so many surface blemishes on these.
07:29So, to have that card in a PSA perfect grade,
07:32it's...
07:33It's unheard of.
07:34I mean, I think this could be anywhere from
07:36$45,000 upwards of $75,000.
07:38I mean, obviously, a card like that, you know,
07:41it's life-changing money.
07:42Yeah, we are planning to hopefully do IVF with it,
07:47because we've had some fertility issues.
07:49Wait a minute.
07:50So, we've been trying for two years now,
07:53and I've already gone through fertility treatments.
07:55It's a lot to save for it.
07:57IVF alone can cost up to, like, $45,000.
08:01Oh, my gosh.
08:02Yeah.
08:03You know, it's tough to continue to get invited
08:06to baby showers and have family members and friends say,
08:10when are you guys gonna have a baby?
08:11When are you guys gonna have a baby?
08:12Yes.
08:13It sucks.
08:14I mean, this is what people across the world
08:16go through every day.
08:17Yeah.
08:18I can relate.
08:19I'm 35.
08:22Something I want more than anything in my life
08:24is a baby.
08:25So, like, last year I froze my eggs for...
08:28It was $30,000 out of pocket.
08:30Oh, my gosh.
08:31So, like, I wiped out my savings account.
08:33Yeah.
08:34And I'm, like, wishing you all the best.
08:36And, like, that's the most amazing hobby story
08:38I've ever heard for me personally.
08:39Yeah.
08:40I hate to even talk business in a situation like this,
08:42but obviously we have to ask the question,
08:44because I know we both really want to work with you
08:46on this card.
08:47Do you guys want to work with Golden?
08:48Potentially.
08:49I have had an offer of $45,000.
08:53Okay.
08:54Wow.
08:55You know, with where we're at right now
08:56and what we're going through,
08:58that kind of money is just...
09:00It's a game-changer.
09:01It's a game-changer.
09:02Hard to turn down.
09:03Of course.
09:04I had no idea that IVF treatments were so much money.
09:07For someone who wants to bring a life into this world,
09:09which is obviously a priceless thing in its own right,
09:11this just kind of adds such a new element
09:13for this entire deal,
09:15and I just want to do everything in my power
09:17to get every single dollar for them
09:19to hopefully start that family.
09:21You know, we have an amazing marketing team here.
09:23I'm sure you've seen a lot of the videos she does.
09:25We all do, you know, really strong videos for cards,
09:27but I think on a card like this,
09:29you don't really want us on that video.
09:31I think it's more of you two telling your story
09:33and bringing awareness to what you're going through.
09:35So I hope we get to work together
09:37if you guys see fit.
09:39As much as it is our story,
09:41I will...
09:42I want this to completely be...
09:44No, it's our story.
09:46Up to you.
09:51Yeah, I mean, I want to definitely commit.
09:53We're doing it.
09:54Yeah.
09:55Oh, my gosh.
09:56Unbelievable.
09:57I'm so excited.
09:58At the end of the day,
09:59whether it does 10,000 or 100,000,
10:01we just want our story to be known.
10:03Other family members have fertility issues,
10:05lots of friends having fertility issues,
10:07so it can be talked about more.
10:10Yeah.
10:11And we also know that Golden and Ryan
10:13will go above and beyond to get our story,
10:17our card, our future out there.
10:20Well, when you have your baby,
10:21it has to be Bo middle name or something.
10:23I don't know.
10:24We do plan on if we have a boy naming him Bo.
10:26Are you not?
10:27Yeah.
10:28And if we have a little girl,
10:30either Bo or Bo for the middle name.
10:32Okay.
10:33Oh, my gosh.
10:34That's so good.
10:35Yeah.
10:36So incredible.
10:48So what's new and exciting?
10:50I mean, obviously, you heard about Ben.
10:53Yes, tell me about Ben.
10:54So new boyfriend.
10:55Yeah, we met at Jenna's birthday, bonded,
10:58and then, yeah, now we're dating.
11:01So would you look at that?
11:02Well, I'm supposed to meet him this weekend, right?
11:04I believe so.
11:05Are you gonna be on your best behavior?
11:06I'm always on my best behavior.
11:10Okay, no, I'm never on my best behavior,
11:11but I will put on a good act for him, okay?
11:13Yeah, yeah.
11:14Okay.
11:15So what's new with you, Big K?
11:17Did you ever meet Darren Prince before?
11:19Is that the guy from Glee?
11:21No, it's not the guy from Glee.
11:23Absolutely.
11:24So Darren Prince is an agent.
11:27Mm-hmm.
11:28So he represents Magic Johnson,
11:30a lot of models,
11:32and when they were alive,
11:33he was working with both Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier,
11:36and he invited me to L.A.
11:38and said he's got some boxing items
11:40from Ali and Frazier.
11:42So I'm hoping it's something related
11:44to the thriller in Manila.
11:46This year marks the 50th anniversary
11:48of Ali Frazier III,
11:50the thriller in Manila.
11:52And if I know that,
11:55you can be damn sure Darren knows that,
11:57and I bet that's why he's reaching out to me.
12:00I might need you to help out with the kids while I'm gone,
12:02but just remember,
12:04cameras all over inside and outside the house.
12:07If Ben comes over, I'll know about it.
12:09That's fine.
12:10What is going on here?
12:11Uh-oh.
12:12Are we getting pulled over?
12:14I hope not.
12:16Maybe they saw the...
12:17No, it's an ambulance. Okay, fine.
12:18Maybe they saw the Ken effin' golden license plate.
12:20Yeah, I know, right?
12:25There's something about these L.A. streets that
12:27make you wanna buy
12:29make you wanna buy
12:32Welcome.
12:33Come on in.
12:38What?
12:39Look at this!
12:42There's so much stuff here.
12:44I recognize so much, but the scene in person.
12:47This is unbelievable.
12:48I mean, I see Kruger.
12:49I'm getting emotions from when I was a little younger.
12:51There you go, yeah.
12:52I'm getting scared looking at that guy.
12:53I've always wanted that glove.
12:54A glove, yeah.
12:55How do you even get something like this, Joe?
12:57In our space, we're a boutique house,
12:59and Brad called us all together to bring in the best of the best,
13:02but give it all attention.
13:03Because a lot of the bigger houses, you know, they're doing 1,200 sale.
13:06So we just select these very well-curated pieces
13:09from the beginning of time in filmmaking to yesterday.
13:12I'm gonna put this down, because this is valuable.
13:15That's incredible.
13:16I mean, I feel like that's one of the biggest props in cinema history, right?
13:19That's a holy grail, no pun intended.
13:21That's probably a million-dollar prop.
13:23How do you get that even authenticated?
13:25Well, you know, luckily, a lot of our material comes from production.
13:27Okay, so you get it right from the source.
13:29It comes right from the special effects guys,
13:31from collectors that have relationships with the guys.
13:33You know, in our business, confidentiality is important,
13:35so we're very, very quiet about that with bidders and with consignors.
13:39Yeah.
13:40Joe Moe is on staff for Studio Auctions
13:41and heads up their pop culture department.
13:43He describes Studio Auctions as a boutique company.
13:46These are some of the biggest, best movie props across all genres.
13:50This is the equivalent to a sports collectibles auction house
13:52saying they're a boutique, and then you come in
13:54and there's Honus Wagners and Ruth Batts just lying all over the place.
13:58This is a golden, worthy auction house.
14:01As soon as I look over two seconds, you got Harry Potter.
14:03Harry Potter, Case of Wands.
14:04Alien.
14:05Who wants to be the bad guy?
14:06I mean, Dave, you're kind of a villain.
14:07Voldemort.
14:08You're more of a bad guy.
14:09I'm more of a villain.
14:10You can be Harry himself.
14:11Oh, lovely.
14:12And I shall be Dumbledore, being the senior member of the tree house.
14:15This is incredible.
14:16So what spells do you like?
14:17You break us, you pay us.
14:18I go with the, uh, I expecto some patrono.
14:21Expecto some patrono.
14:22I got Kruppio, so you can turn into Ryan Krupa.
14:25Krupa?
14:26What's up, bro?
14:27This is absolutely incredible.
14:30You feel the power.
14:31You do.
14:32I thought I was worried about flying right now.
14:33It's like if you just shoot me to the ceiling.
14:34Whoa!
14:35How much would a little tiny wand like this from such a big franchise like Harry Potter bring?
14:40In the hand of Voldemort, that probably would go for $30,000 to $40,000.
14:43That's an average, you know?
14:44So we've got like $100,000 worth of wands, right?
14:46Easily.
14:47Yeah, easily.
14:48All right, I'll let you handle that one.
14:49Over here, we have the coup de grace.
14:53The Star Wars table.
14:55Wow, here we go.
14:56And I want to show you a magic trick.
14:57Lightsaber?
14:58Watch what happens when you hold this.
15:02There, that's it.
15:03You turn 12 years old, you start making the sound effects.
15:06Right along.
15:07I knew you'd get there, yeah.
15:08That is so awesome, man.
15:10Come on.
15:11All right.
15:13It's not a fair fight, but there's a grenade.
15:15You guys could have another little battle if you want.
15:18Yeah, right.
15:19He caught me up, man.
15:20I just like to walk into the other room while you do it.
15:22Right.
15:23And then our friend here.
15:25Wow.
15:26Is this the actual full-size R2-D2?
15:28It is made from production molds.
15:30It was a walk-around character at Disney World.
15:32That's about as close as you're going to get nowadays.
15:34And being that it actually works, what's the value of something like this versus one that
15:39doesn't work?
15:40I would expect we could make 80 grand, maybe.
15:42Wow.
15:43Or more.
15:44So if you had to put a value on inventory in-house right now.
15:47I hope we have a couple million.
15:49It's only a 260-lot sale.
15:51So this is all one auction?
15:52This is all one auction.
15:53Wow, that's a heck of an auction.
15:55I've been telling the team we need to dive into movie props, and we've come across our
15:58share here or there, but we've just not gotten over the hurdle.
16:02This is just the mecca.
16:04These guys are the big boys of Boutique.
16:06A company like this can put us right there with the top five in the space immediately.
16:11I'm impressed.
16:12I'm going to let Ken know, and I want to come down here and back with Ken in a few days.
16:16I think there's something we can do together.
16:17There's potential here, yeah.
16:18Well, thank him for sending you down.
16:19Joe, thank you.
16:20I have a feeling you guys are family already.
16:21Our pleasure.
16:22Our pleasure.
16:23This was incredible.
16:24Hustlin' a night that you flex with.
16:26Flex with.
16:27Know we eatin' well, how belts fit.
16:29I'm Dallas from Western Maryland, and this is my wife Amber.
16:32My wife and I have been trying to have a baby for the past two years and have been unsuccessful.
16:37We plan on using a portion of that to finally be able to afford IVF treatment and hopefully have a little baby.
16:44Hustlin' a night, what you flex with.
16:47Know we eatin' well, how belts fit.
16:50Took a break from the cook and let my chef whip.
16:53Went all money in, what you left with.
16:56There he is.
16:57There he is.
16:58How you doin', Aaron?
16:59Good God, it's been at least a year or two.
17:01Oh my God, yes.
17:02I am Darren Prince, president and CEO of Prince Marketing Group.
17:07We represent iconic athletes and celebrities.
17:10Clients that have passed were Smokin' Joe Frazier, Muhammad Ali, Jerry West.
17:14Magic Johnson's been a client for 31 years.
17:17This is Nutsa.
17:18Nutsa, hi.
17:19Nutsa, hi.
17:20She was a client for about two, two and a half years, and Saturday night we got engaged.
17:27Oh my God.
17:28Come here.
17:29Congratulations.
17:30Thank you so much.
17:31Make an ass man out of him.
17:34All right, I know you're dying to see what you came here for.
17:38Yep.
17:39So let's go do it.
17:40All right.
17:41I'll let you guys talk.
17:45How you doin'?
17:47Here they are.
17:49This is...this is royalty.
17:52Yep.
17:53These are worn robes from the Thrilla in Manila era.
17:58In 1974, Muhammad Ali regains his title.
18:02However, one main rival stood in his way, Joe Frazier.
18:07They had fought twice.
18:09Frazier won the first time.
18:10Ali won the second time.
18:13The ultimate tiebreaker, that was the Thrilla in Manila, with Muhammad Ali coming out on top
18:19and retaining his heavyweight title.
18:21And that, people say, was the greatest boxing match of all time.
18:26Amazing.
18:27Absolutely amazing.
18:29I gotta check these out.
18:31Oh, man.
18:32Oh, wow.
18:33Holding worldwide history.
18:36The first thing I notice, you gotta look at the tag.
18:40Made expressly for Muhammad Ali.
18:44The public was never able to buy something like this.
18:47See how all these threads here are popped?
18:50That is from multiple wearings and multiple washings.
18:54And then, Smoke and Joe, I mean, this is your guy.
18:57I mean, this is my heart.
18:58Incredible.
18:59You can see here.
19:00See the markings.
19:01That is a consistent buildup of the sweat that he had.
19:07This is really, really, really worn a lot.
19:10When you have boxing robes worn by warriors, finding blood or finding sweat is not a bad thing.
19:19This is literally their DNA on the robe.
19:22Seeing something like that makes people feel closer to the boxer.
19:26It also makes the item more valuable.
19:29Incredible.
19:30Two incredible pieces, especially to have both of them available at the same time.
19:36So what, does somebody go for one?
19:38Or I know you have so many collectors, investors.
19:42How iconic to get them side by side.
19:44The great thing about this, especially Ali, is these guys are borderless.
19:49We are looking at a global market here.
19:52And that's what's great about boxing.
19:53It's a worldwide sport.
19:55And we at Golden reach a global audience.
19:58And I think the way to do it is we put them in the same auction side by side.
20:04And I think you could be easily looking over a quarter million for the pair.
20:08This is tremendous.
20:09I love boxing.
20:10I am set for the 50th anniversary of the fight.
20:13I remember some of the late Ali fights as a kid.
20:18So to be able to sell classic pieces like this is tremendous.
20:22I appreciate your trust in me to handle this.
20:25But I have to ask you, you know, what's your reasoning now to let them go?
20:29So the Aiming High Foundation was named after my book, Aiming High.
20:32It's my own 501c3 scholarship.
20:35Dozens of people a year with mental health and substance abuse issues.
20:39It's obviously very near and dear to me.
20:41Yeah.
20:42And so I'll take some of my proceeds.
20:43And that allows me to scholarship people that are needed help with mental health and substance abuse.
20:50Amazing.
20:51It's just such a beautiful thing to be able to do that.
20:53What you have accomplished, the way you've turned your life around, the way you have now dedicated yourself to this.
21:00I mean, I'm so proud that you've been able to do this and stick with it for so many years.
21:05Real wealth is what you could do to impact lives and touch other people that are struggling.
21:10And, you know, to have that ability again now through Ken, you know, is a beautiful thing.
21:16Let's do this.
21:17We good?
21:18Yeah.
21:19Give me a hug.
21:20Love you.
21:21Love you too, brother.
21:22They say I'm well put together.
21:23It's funny how things just fall in place.
21:25Taking it to another level.
21:26How much damage will I make?
21:28Dude.
21:29Here we go, bro.
21:30Sunny California, bro.
21:31This place is awesome, man.
21:32Look at this.
21:33Carlo and I are in Marina del Rey, California at Bartel's Harley Davidson.
21:37And we're meeting up with the owner of a one-of-a-kind motorcycle.
21:40He's been hesitant to put it up for auction.
21:42So hopefully some face time will lead to a deal.
21:44So there he is.
21:45There he is.
21:46This is what we're looking for here.
21:47It is Elvis' Harley Davidson from 1976.
21:51And it's not just an Elvis Harley.
21:54It's the last Harley Elvis ever owned.
21:57And when it comes to a name like Elvis, it doesn't get much bigger than that.
22:00How you doing?
22:01Who's the owner?
22:02Bill Bartels?
22:03That's me.
22:04David Amman.
22:05How are you?
22:06Bill and Carlo.
22:07Pleasure to meet you.
22:08So we've come a long way.
22:09If you could tell me a little bit more about it, I'd love to hear.
22:10Elvis called the dealer that I worked for at that time.
22:13And told him he'd like to come in.
22:15And he said, I don't want a circus.
22:17So he said, don't tell a soul.
22:19Well, my boss never even told me until I had two limos pull up in the yard.
22:24And I go, that looks a lot like Elvis.
22:27No way.
22:28So you sold it to Elvis originally?
22:30Yeah.
22:31He passed away not shortly after he purchased this.
22:33One year.
22:34Wow.
22:35Elvis Presley.
22:36We're talking about the absolute king of rock and roll.
22:40Had so many top hits.
22:41You know, he was larger than life.
22:43Getting mobbed everywhere he went.
22:45But he needed something to escape with.
22:47And motorcycles gave Elvis that feeling of escape.
22:50When he was on the road, he was in his own element.
22:53It kind of just took him out of all that craziness just for a little bit of time.
22:59This bike is a 1976 bicentennial FLH 1200 Harley Davidson.
23:05They made 750 of them.
23:07Okay.
23:08So it's a limited bike.
23:09We have the original title signed twice by Elvis Presley.
23:12Look at the signature on that thing.
23:14Looks like he just signed it yesterday.
23:15It's incredible.
23:16That's a collectible by itself.
23:17The client had his time with this, and he's very happy to let it move to the next person.
23:22Like all collectors, they get something, they love it, and then they're ready for it to move on.
23:27I guess it wouldn't hurt if I took a seat, right? That's okay?
23:32I'm on my way.
23:33Ooh, baby.
23:35Oh, yeah.
23:39Hey, hey, hey.
23:40Thank you very much.
23:41Thank you very much.
23:42Checking himself in the mirror.
23:43Ooh, looking pretty good there, bro.
23:46There have probably been more people that have actually landed on the moon
23:49than to have sat on Elvis Presley's actual personally-owned motorcycle.
23:54Piece of history right here.
23:55Wow.
23:56So we're going heavy in pop culture.
23:57We're going heavy in music.
23:58This is one of the biggest items in the space when it comes to Elvis
24:01and collectibles.
24:02So for us, we need something that's really going to wow people.
24:05So this bike just captures all of that.
24:08Wow.
24:09This is an all-timer right here.
24:10Absolutely, man.
24:11It hits a little different than a baseball card.
24:12Absolutely.
24:13That's for sure.
24:14Thanks so much for having us out here.
24:16This has been amazing.
24:17Yeah, Tom, thank you so much.
24:18This has been such an honor right here.
24:21So I guess what I've honestly been wondering the whole time is
24:26I'd love to know what it's going to take to get this to auction.
24:31As you guys know, anything with a motor has a different value when it comes to memorabilia.
24:38So you already understand how significant this is with the paperwork, the history, the provenance.
24:45But what other things have you guys sold that has a motor that will provide some confidence for this consignment?
24:52We've absolutely sold some items like that.
24:55We sold Cal Ripken Jr. Chevy Tahoe he got when he passed the consecutive game streak.
25:01Shaq Cybertruck.
25:02We just sold the Shaq Cybertruck pretty well, actually.
25:05Uh, I think, um, are you more concerned with cash?
25:15This is a holy grail asset because the bike is very historic.
25:19You can't get another one.
25:20It should fetch a premium because of the authentication package that comes with it.
25:24I mean, Elvis' jumpsuit sold for $600,000.
25:27Mm-hmm.
25:28I would say that everything with a motor has more value, especially when it comes to memorabilia.
25:33This is a million-dollar bike.
25:36There's a lot of things we can do to market this, not just between Golden and what we've done.
25:45We've been acquired by eBay.
25:47eBay Motors is one of the largest marketplaces for motors and automobiles in the world,
25:52and we have their marketing support.
25:53So I think between eBay and Golden, we can get this in front of everyone's eyeballs,
25:58and I think that's how you get the best value.
26:01That's how we set those record prices.
26:03Um, anything that we can do to market this that will be reflective of its importance in history.
26:09eBay is in every country.
26:11This is a music and a history item.
26:13Elvis relates worldwide.
26:15We have over 180 million users worldwide with eBay's marketing.
26:19It's gonna be marketed all over Golden Social, full two-page spread in a catalog.
26:23We're gonna do the works, but we wanna know at the end of it, it's gonna sell,
26:26and it's gonna get what you want.
26:28And if I didn't think this was a million, I wouldn't even sit here and take it.
26:31But if you're willing to let this thing ride, run it in true auction,
26:34I feel confident shaking your hand right now and saying,
26:36I feel good about getting you a million dollars if we can bring this to Golden.
26:41Hmm.
26:44I think, um...
26:49As Elvis would say, let it ride. Let's do it.
26:52Let's do it.
26:53Absolutely.
26:54Awesome, man.
26:55Hey, man, thank you so much for letting us even see this and just be in its presence.
26:59This is gonna be incredible.
27:01Oh, it's the catalog cover right here.
27:02This is an all-timer right here, man.
27:03Awesome.
27:04Fasten in, Carlo. Fasten in.
27:07Feel safe.
27:08Not bad. Not bad.
27:09This is relaxing, dude. This is so relaxing.
27:11This is awesome, dude.
27:12All right, I did or not.
27:14See, I've always been unstoppable.
27:16The way I move is so methodical.
27:18For you, it's not too logical.
27:19Step in alliance, then you can gobble dust.
27:21Hey, Ryan and Alex.
27:22Hey, guys.
27:23First and foremost, want to thank you guys so much for being so kind to my wife and I.
27:27I still cannot believe that the card brought $47,850.
27:32This is gonna go so far for me and my wife to help us try and have a baby with our IVF treatment.
27:39So, stay tuned.
27:41Hopefully, we get to meet baby Beau here soon.
27:44I wouldn't open the door if I saw you two standing there.
28:01I need to tie it for the shirts.
28:02Hi, Ken.
28:03How you doing, Lydia?
28:04Come on in.
28:05Good to meet you in person.
28:06Hi.
28:07How are you?
28:09Come on in.
28:10You here to see Brad?
28:11Absolutely.
28:12I'll go grab him, but feel free to take a look around.
28:13Great.
28:19Holy cow.
28:20After Dave and Carlo's recon mission, I got great reports.
28:23Golden needs to be globally recognized as the biggest name in this category.
28:28I see a way to make that happen.
28:30Ooh.
28:31R2-D2.
28:33Ken.
28:34Great to finally meet you.
28:35Hey.
28:36Good to meet in person finally.
28:37Absolutely.
28:38Dave.
28:39Good to meet you, Carlo.
28:40I started Studio Auctions about two years ago with a greater focus, emphasis on customer
28:45service and having smaller auctions so we could do a better job of highlighting everyone's pieces.
28:51When people think Bruce Lee, they think this item.
28:54Amazing piece of movie history right there.
28:56Look, I'd love to talk a little business with you if you don't mind.
28:59Of course.
29:00Sure.
29:01Guys.
29:02Entertain yourselves.
29:03All right.
29:04Plenty of stuff to entertain us with.
29:05First time, Cooper.
29:07Let me tell you about myself.
29:08Sure.
29:09I was a collector for many years.
29:10Then I started buying and selling.
29:12And I decided I wanted to open up my own auction house.
29:15Mm-hmm.
29:16Compete with some of the larger auction companies.
29:18Do things a little differently.
29:19Almost from the get-go, the first auction, we just exploded.
29:22We've done incredibly well.
29:23I'm very proud of it.
29:24To me, you know, I'm trying to grow golden in areas that would help expand categories we have.
29:30You know, I know competitors out there who do a hundred million dollars a year in this type of stuff.
29:35Or more, right?
29:36That's right.
29:37We are trying to become number one in every category, okay?
29:42I've got eBay behind me.
29:43I mean, 138 million monthly users, right?
29:47It's probably gonna be 10, maybe 15 years until you get to scale.
29:53I saw what you have here, and I've got to capture this magic.
29:58I know you weren't prepared for this, but I would like to acquire a studio
30:06and have studio auctions be a part of Golden.
30:18Yeah, here I go, what's up, what's up?
30:21Uh, here I come, what's up, what's up?
30:23Yeah, here I go, what's up, what's up?
30:26Uh, here I come, what's up, what's up?
30:29Yeah, you can holler if you want to, what's up?
30:32What's up?
30:33You can follow when I move.
30:34What's up?
30:35Nothing hotter than I do.
30:36What's up?
30:37So holler when I come through.
30:39Yeah, here I go, what's up, what's up?
30:42Uh, here I come, what's up, what's up?
30:44What's up?
31:02What's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what
