00:00What was one thing that surprised you most working alongside Amanda?

00:04I think that her capability to immerse herself in every scene

00:09and then come out of it and be such, and be a mother and be a leader

00:13and be, you know, and laugh was baffling.

00:18I don't know how she was able to juggle that and deliver the performance that she did.

00:22I mean, she is phenomenal in this.

00:24It seems like she really, like, set the tone for the cast

00:29and just, like, everybody who I've talked to just raves about her.

00:34Was there anything that you learned about her that surprised you?

00:40Everything surprises me about Amanda.

00:42You learn something new about her every day.

00:44She's very unpredictable.

00:45She is very, she has a beautiful lack of, like,

00:52she doesn't, like, second-guess her truth and her opinion, you know,

00:58and there's something so encouraging and beautiful about that

01:01and I think that in many ways that's very true to who Ann Lee was

01:05and she was going against all odds.

01:08She was saying, you know, she was starting a movement

01:11that everyone thought she was either the second coming or she was a witch, you know,

01:15and so Amanda was able to elegantly, you know, carve that character out so beautifully.

01:22And then your dad, Bill, he's here tonight.

01:24He's one of your biggest supporters.

01:26How does it feel to make your own name in this industry

01:28and what's the best advice he's given you?

01:30You know, I get so much great and valuable advice from my dad.

01:38How much time has he ever loved him and he said that he doesn't really give you enough advice?

01:42Well, he doesn't give, I guess, that's probably true.

01:45He doesn't give me straight-up advice.

01:48He sort of leads by example and through storytelling.

01:52He's very much kind of also, you know, doesn't want to stand in the way of me finding a path that is my own

01:59and very conscious of the fact that we're different people with different kind of tendencies

02:05and how we grow is different.

02:08But I don't know how I'd be able to do anything without him.

02:13I love him so much.
