Tucky Buzzard formed in 1969 from the ashes of the band The End. Its original lineup was: David Brown (bass), Paul Francis (drums), Nick Graham (keyboards), Jimmy Henderson (vocals), Terry Taylor (guitar), and Paul Kendrick (guitar, vocals). From the very beginning, the band received considerable support from "Rolling Stone" Bill Wyman, who took on the mantle of overseeing Tucky Buzzard's affairs. Bill secured a contract with Capitol Records for his protégés, arranged studio time, and arranged and produced their debut album, which was recorded at London's Olympic Studios. Wyman also invited his colleague Mick Taylor and a couple of guys from the Stones' backing horn section, Bobby Case and Jim Price, to appear as guests. For unknown reasons, the sessions stretched out for 15 months (during which time Francis was replaced by Chris Johnson), and the debut album, 'Tucky Buzzard', was released only in June 1971...
