00:00:00of celestial visitors, rituals that echo lost technologies and ceremonies intended to reconnect
00:00:10with otherworldly beings. For nearly two decades, ancient aliens has traveled the globe exploring
00:00:19towering megalithic structures, mysterious artifacts, and stories of otherworldly beings
00:00:27in a quest for evidence that might reveal the truth of our extraterrestrial origins.
00:00:34You know, it's fascinating that we have these rituals where people dress up to look like spacemen or aliens.
00:00:41Now, we take a look back through the ancient aliens archives to the show's very origins
00:00:47to examine the evidence that we are not alone. We have never been alone.
00:00:57Some of the most compelling evidence we have of our extraterrestrial past is found in our rituals,
00:01:07these deliberate practices and ceremonies that we've created that typically honor some otherworldly entity.
00:01:14Right, and oftentimes you see ancient cultures wearing these elaborate outfits commemorating some extraterrestrial contact.
00:01:22And my question is, could that be living mythology?
00:01:26Yeah, it's like there's something in our DNA that wants us to commemorate things in humanity's past.
00:01:32And ancient aliens covered this way back in 2011.
00:01:35The same year Giorgio Osmeid was born.
00:01:38Correct.
00:01:39The Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico, Mexico.
00:01:52Here among the ancient Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza stands the Great Pyramid of El Castillo.
00:01:59Built by the Mayan sometime between the 9th and 12th centuries A.D.
00:02:07El Castillo served as a temple to the feathered serpent god Kukukhan.
00:02:14It is also believed to be the site of the Mayan's most important ritual, human sacrifice.
00:02:21They would bring human victims up the stairs of their temples.
00:02:30They would cut out their beating hearts.
00:02:33And that would be the form of sacrifice the Mayans engaged in.
00:02:38In the rituals, there was the central importance of blood sacrifice.
00:02:43That by shedding blood, they could empower their desire and be granted what they wanted.
00:02:51So there is a theme of blood that runs through this system of sacrifice.
00:02:58That blood must be shed.
00:03:01Although ritual sacrifice is no longer practiced at El Castillo,
00:03:08worshippers still come to celebrate a time when the Mayans say god Kukukhan descended from the heavens to bring wisdom to man.
00:03:16They light fires to unite with the spiritual realm, perform sacred dances and repeat prayers in numerical sequences to enter a deep state of meditation.
00:03:28But the most powerful ritual that takes place at El Castillo is a reenactment of Kukukhan's descent to earth.
00:03:37A reenactment that is literally built into the pyramid itself.
00:03:42This is a model of the pyramid of Chichen Itza in Mexico.
00:03:46And every year on March 21st, when the sun goes up, directly on the stairway here is created triangles of light and shadow coming down the stairs,
00:04:01which represents God Kukukhan has descended to the humans.
00:04:09At the end, you see the face of God Kukukhan.
00:04:13On September 21st, it's the opposite.
00:04:16This time, when the sun rises up in the morning, God Kukukhan goes up the stairs and ends in a bright light up on the little temple.
00:04:28Which means God Kukukhan visited the earthlings, teach them, and after a certain period, he disappeared again into the sky with the promise to return one day.
00:04:40It could be that not only are the Mayan celebrating their extraterrestrial ancestors,
00:04:51but it could well be that the ancient aliens who came to earth instructed the societies that they helped to maintain a connection with them
00:05:01by performing certain rituals, celebrations at the appearance of stars, and keeping the story of the extraterrestrials alive in their legends.
00:05:11Did the Maya really conduct these elaborate and bloody rituals to honor a mythical deity?
00:05:18Or might they have been, as ancient astronaut theorists contend, commemorating an actual visitation by extraterrestrial beings?
00:05:29A ritual is absolutely a way to kind of reconnect with the gods.
00:05:34So not only are you reenacting your faith in this god, right?
00:05:38You are actually reenacting the original moment when the god did a very specific thing.
00:05:44All over the world, ancient people and modern people are using rituals to connect them with gods.
00:05:53Yet these gods may well be ancient astrologers.
00:05:57The hill of Uschnik, Ireland.
00:06:05Each year on the first day of May, the local citizens celebrate the sacred festival of Beltaná,
00:06:12similar to the one first performed by the ancient Celts more than 2,000 years ago.
00:06:17Like the ceremony at Chichen Itza, it is designed to connect and communicate with beings from outside our world.
00:06:26This day was the day when you would set fires, bonfires, and then you would walk your cattle between the fires as a way to protect them for the coming spring and summer.
00:06:41And these May Day fires were a magical way of calling down protection upon animals and human beings.
00:06:52But why fire?
00:06:55What was it about this most basic of elements that made it so important to the ancient Celts?
00:07:01The association of fire with Beltaná suggests that this is a time when extra vision, extra knowledge is available.
00:07:13And what the Celtic peoples were most interested in knowing about was in fact the other world.
00:07:21There is this notion that at Beltaná there is a greater opportunity for actually perhaps meeting people from the other world.
00:07:31Might the fire rituals of the Beltaná festival have been started by the early Celts
00:07:36as an attempt to recreate the strange lights and ignitions they saw from an alien spacecraft?
00:07:43Although no written records exist to explain the event's true origins,
00:07:48there are those who believe that such an incredible idea is possible.
00:07:53And to prove it, they point to a ceremony practiced each year by the Kayapo people of Brazil.
00:08:07A long time ago, Bebcor Roti appeared descending from the sky.
00:08:13And when he landed, there was a lot of wind.
00:08:16The earth was shaking and trembling.
00:08:18There was a lot of noise.
00:08:20The appearance of Bebcor Roti has been preserved to this day.
00:08:28In fact, it's a medicine man wearing a straw suit.
00:08:32And that straw suit looks eerily similar to a modern-day astronaut suit.
00:08:38The Kayapo remember the very special suit, this man or alien war,
00:08:48which essentially completely enclosed the body.
00:08:52And what's more interesting is what a neighboring tribe said, namely the Bukari.
00:08:57They already had such a thing hanging in a hut in the 19th century.
00:09:01But for the Kayapo, the Bebcor Roti festival is only one of the ways they honor an ancient visitation
00:09:11by an extraterrestrial being.
00:09:13They also recount his visitation in their everyday lives by wearing symbolic headdresses made of feathers.
00:09:22There is this feather headdress that has a row of feathers, and when it's worn, it looks like a halo.
00:09:34And these feathers represent no more and no less than outer space.
00:09:41The Kayapo see outer space as being a flat disk, spreading out into infinity.
00:09:47The band that holds these feathers together is a symbol for the rope
00:09:53that the Kayapo ancestors used to climb down to Earth from a celestial world.
00:10:06Could the Kayapo rituals of Brazil really have been inspired by an extraterrestrial visitation?
00:10:13Perhaps the answer can be found by examining a sacred African tradition
00:10:20encrypted with the knowledge of the cosmos.
00:10:28You know, it's fascinating that we have these rituals
00:10:31where people dress up to look like spacemen or aliens.
00:10:35Right. Or, for example, in Africa, where we have the Dogon people
00:10:39who celebrate this celestial deity, Namo, every year
00:10:43by wearing these elaborate, very bizarre-looking wooden masks.
00:10:48And they even say that their creator god comes from a star called Sirius B.
00:10:53Which can't even be seen with the naked eye.
00:10:55Right.
00:10:56We covered this in the first season of Ancient Aliens
00:10:58in an episode called The Visitors.
00:11:00Mali, in Northwest Africa.
00:11:07Deep in a remote valley live the Dogon people,
00:11:10who are the descendants of a nomadic tribe that settled here around 1000 A.D.
00:11:16The Dogon claim a very long and ancient tradition
00:11:21and, in my opinion, maintain some of the ancient Egyptian traditions
00:11:28and myths that have been carried on right into the present age.
00:11:34Parts of Ancient Egypt may not have died.
00:11:37They were carried on to this day among the Dogon.
00:11:41But what exactly are their beliefs?
00:11:48Dogon mythology holds that the sky god Amma
00:11:51created the first living creature known as Namo.
00:11:57Still today, Dogon celebrates a festival in the honor of Namo
00:12:04and that visitation that occurred in the remote past.
00:12:09How do we know this?
00:12:12For this festival, they have wooden masks
00:12:16that date back to a very long time ago
00:12:21when this festival began.
00:12:30Dogon masks tell the mystic stories of their ancestors.
00:12:34This is a sculpture of the creator.
00:12:37They call him Amma.
00:12:39He's embracing the universe.
00:12:42This is how they pass on information from generation to generation
00:12:46by stories carved in masks.
00:12:48But could Namo have been a real person?
00:13:02Some see eerie similarities between the Dogon's legend
00:13:06and the story of the mysterious pharaoh Akhenaten.
00:13:11Akhenaten believed he was directly descended from the sun god Aten.
00:13:15Namo was said to have been created by the sky deity Amma.
00:13:20Is it a coincidence that both cultures,
00:13:24although thousands of miles apart,
00:13:27shared mythical tales of beings coming from the skies?
00:13:30And both Namo and Akhenaten were depicted with elongated heads.
00:13:36Is it possible that these legends were based on real events?
00:13:40The Dogon dwell in the central plateau region of Banya Gara.
00:13:51Their knowledge is centuries old,
00:13:53and their priests have been sharing it with chosen individuals only.
00:13:56In the 1920s,
00:14:01French anthropologist Griel and ethnologist Dieterlin
00:14:05visited the tribe and were invited to share their secrets.
00:14:08But one secret stood out.
00:14:16The Dogon claimed that their god Amma
00:14:18came from a specific star in the Sirius constellation,
00:14:22the same place where the ancient Egyptians believed
00:14:26their god Osiris was born.
00:14:29This star, which modern astronomers refer to as Sirius B,
00:14:34the Dogon called Potolo.
00:14:36But what baffles experts is that the star is so far from Earth,
00:14:41it's impossible to see with the naked eye.
00:14:46I was very intrigued by this, by the way.
00:14:48I mean, the Dogons should not have known about the existence of this star.
00:14:54Sirius is the second nearest star from our solar system.
00:14:58It's eight light years away.
00:15:00In fact, it's not even visible with standard telescopes.
00:15:02It was first seen, literally seen, and photographed in the 1970s.
00:15:08Modern science has corroborated that Sirius B does indeed exist.
00:15:15Problem is, the Dogon knew about this
00:15:19before modern science corroborated it.
00:15:23I mean, that's spooky.
00:15:29Measurements taken with the Hubble Telescope in 2003
00:15:32have confirmed that Sirius B is what's known as a white dwarf.
00:15:38We're a partially burnt-out star with extremely dense mass.
00:15:42Although it is smaller in size than Earth,
00:15:46it's estimated to weigh eight times as much as our sun.
00:15:51But how did the Dogon acquire this ancient knowledge of astronomy
00:15:55that seems to be centuries more advanced than that of modern science?
00:15:59The mystery is, how did this story get passed on down generations?
00:16:07If the story came from a time before astronomers knew
00:16:10there was a companion star to Sirius,
00:16:12which can't be seen with the human eye.
00:16:15This is the Dogon symbol for Sirius.
00:16:19When you move it around,
00:16:20you can see an orbit around the center marked by Sirius A.
00:16:23Sirius B circles around it,
00:16:27so it is a circular system.
00:16:29This sign is practically an astronomical model
00:16:32that the Dogon could not have invented
00:16:34because only Sirius A is visible.
00:16:38Sirius B and C are invisible.
00:16:41However, their description of the orbit is correct.
00:16:45One assumption is that this god, Namo,
00:16:48who brought them this knowledge,
00:16:50could have been an extraterrestrial intelligence.
00:16:53Since the early 20th century,
00:16:58the tribe has been routinely studied
00:17:00and researched by anthropologists.
00:17:03This has led many modern historians
00:17:05to claim that the Dogon
00:17:07must have learned about astronomy from Westerners.
00:17:11When critics suggest
00:17:13that this knowledge was given to them
00:17:15by modern ethnologists,
00:17:16that's simply incorrect
00:17:18because we know that this story
00:17:21goes back hundreds of years earlier
00:17:24than any modern ethnologist ever went there.
00:17:31If it were ever proven
00:17:32that all this information
00:17:33is exactly correct,
00:17:36including the parts
00:17:36that are still being studied by astronomers,
00:17:38this would mean that the Earth
00:17:40had visitors from outer space
00:17:42in prehistoric times.
00:17:45Either they inherited that knowledge
00:17:47and the question is from where?
00:17:49From a previous civilization
00:17:50or from some sort of extraterrestrial civilization
00:17:54or it's a coincidence.
00:17:55In my view, it is not a coincidence.
00:17:57If the Dogon people
00:18:01really possessed
00:18:02this advanced astronomical knowledge,
00:18:05were there legends based on real events?
00:18:09The ancient Egyptians and Dogon
00:18:11were far from alone
00:18:13in their belief in gods
00:18:14or mystical beings
00:18:15that came from the sky.
00:18:20Is there an explanation
00:18:21for similar myths
00:18:23shared by ancient cultures
00:18:25all around the world?
00:18:27And what does that reveal
00:18:28as to who these visitors may be?
00:18:32Perhaps the answer can be found
00:18:34not in northern Africa,
00:18:36but here,
00:18:37in the rocks and canyons
00:18:39of the American Southwest.
00:18:4130 miles south
00:18:54of Gallup, New Mexico
00:18:55lies the Pueblo of Zuni.
00:19:03Sheltered from the desolate
00:19:04high plains,
00:19:06this adobe city
00:19:07is home to the Zuni Indians,
00:19:08one of the oldest indigenous tribes
00:19:11in North America.
00:19:13They have inhabited this land
00:19:15for almost 2,000 years
00:19:17and have protected their secrets
00:19:19even longer.
00:19:24The Zuni
00:19:25are a very interesting culture
00:19:26in that they're one
00:19:27of the few cultures
00:19:28that really have not opened up
00:19:29to the rest of the world
00:19:31about their star knowledge traditions.
00:19:34Most of this type of information
00:19:35is very closely held
00:19:37by the natives.
00:19:39And I really find it
00:19:41very intriguing
00:19:42that this is the time period
00:19:44in history
00:19:44where now we're starting
00:19:45to learn more and more
00:19:46about their star knowledge.
00:19:53Much of the Zuni people's history
00:19:55is etched in the rocks
00:19:56in the New Mexico desert.
00:19:58Tribal elder Clifford Mahouti
00:20:07and archaeologist Dan Simplicio
00:20:10have studied the Zuni's
00:20:11secret history firsthand.
00:20:14They've collected stories
00:20:15passed down through generations
00:20:17that are rooted in the belief
00:20:19that the tribe's creators
00:20:20and protectors
00:20:21are supernatural beings
00:20:23from the sky.
00:20:25This one's kind of interesting here.
00:20:28I would imagine
00:20:29it was created
00:20:30in the last century,
00:20:32but on this design
00:20:33you can see the star figure.
00:20:37Celestial images
00:20:38oftentimes are depicted
00:20:39in a lot of our
00:20:40cultural petroglyphs.
00:20:42And this is one of them
00:20:43where it depicts the star.
00:20:45It could be the supernova
00:20:47of the Crab Nebula.
00:20:51Our Zuni mythology
00:20:53in the prayer system
00:20:54and the ritualistic protocols
00:20:58talk about these people
00:20:59that came over here
00:21:01and told us how to actually
00:21:02live our lives
00:21:03as beings, sky people.
00:21:09If you listen to a lot of
00:21:11religious chants and songs
00:21:13and prayers,
00:21:14that's all they talk about.
00:21:16They're talking about space.
00:21:17They're talking about out there
00:21:19in the universe
00:21:19where they came from.
00:21:20So they depicted
00:21:22on that rock wall here.
00:21:23But the actual meaning
00:21:25of it is somewhere
00:21:26more profound
00:21:27and more complex
00:21:28than that.
00:21:31These drawings
00:21:32are thought to have been created
00:21:34around 1200 B.C.
00:21:36Yet they appear
00:21:37to depict modern space travelers
00:21:39and their vehicles.
00:21:40If you move back
00:21:45a little bit,
00:21:46you can see
00:21:47another figure here.
00:21:49It has a dome
00:21:51as eyes.
00:21:53There's something
00:21:54coming down
00:21:55and a nose
00:21:56like a nose
00:21:57through the nose
00:21:58but it kind of
00:21:58flares out.
00:22:00I think it was something
00:22:00to do with
00:22:01the ancient ones
00:22:02when they saw something.
00:22:04They took as much
00:22:05description of it
00:22:06to put it on there.
00:22:07Of course,
00:22:08it's not going to be
00:22:08exactly what they saw
00:22:10but that's as best
00:22:11as they can do
00:22:12for something
00:22:13that they saw.
00:22:15With all petroglyphs
00:22:16and things like that,
00:22:18I mean,
00:22:18they're up to interpretation.
00:22:20Sometimes they're
00:22:21just doodlings
00:22:22of people
00:22:23but other times
00:22:25they may well be
00:22:25actual descriptions
00:22:27and depictions
00:22:28of some kind
00:22:30of god
00:22:31from outer space,
00:22:32some ancient astronaut.
00:22:35And when you go around,
00:22:36say, like the Zuni Pueblo,
00:22:38I mean,
00:22:38that's what they'll tell you.
00:22:39Those petroglyphs
00:22:40aren't.
00:22:41Even the Zunis
00:22:42themselves
00:22:43call them
00:22:44the spacemen.
00:22:46This one seems to have
00:22:48two legs
00:22:49coming out like that.
00:22:50It has a
00:22:51broad,
00:22:53diamond-shaped body.
00:22:55There probably was
00:22:56a bitter head
00:22:57that chipped off here.
00:22:59That's very different-looking
00:23:01than humans are.
00:23:02Now, usually they're
00:23:05called UFOs.
00:23:06But in the Zuni way,
00:23:08we've always been taught
00:23:10that they're the keepers
00:23:11of the upper world,
00:23:12which means space.
00:23:14Now, they're sky people,
00:23:16beings that are
00:23:17of the extraterrestrial origin.
00:23:20And this is still
00:23:21within our mythology
00:23:22and our religious practices today.
00:23:24Like most Indian tribes,
00:23:33the Zunis
00:23:34call these sky people
00:23:35Kachinas.
00:23:37According to the Zuni's
00:23:38creation story,
00:23:39the Kachina gods
00:23:40came down from the sky.
00:23:42Every year,
00:23:50the Zunis participate
00:23:51in a ceremony
00:23:52known as
00:23:53the Chilaco Festival.
00:23:55Dressed in traditional costumes
00:23:56to represent the Kachinas,
00:23:58the Indians celebrate
00:23:59the arrival of the gods
00:24:01on Earth.
00:24:05This is a figurine
00:24:07of Kachina gods.
00:24:09And these guys
00:24:10are some gods
00:24:11from the sky
00:24:12who came down.
00:24:13They wear weird helmets.
00:24:16This one has
00:24:16a helmet as a head.
00:24:19And if you look
00:24:20at the whole body of it,
00:24:24it's as if it wears
00:24:25some type of a suit.
00:24:28This one here also
00:24:29has the helmet
00:24:30and the visor.
00:24:33For the Pueblo Indians,
00:24:34like the Zunis,
00:24:35these are their sky gods
00:24:37that every year
00:24:38they have special ceremonies.
00:24:40People put on these
00:24:41special costumes
00:24:42and masks
00:24:42to reenact
00:24:43the coming of the gods.
00:24:46They really look
00:24:47like ancient astronauts.
00:24:48If you look at the poetry
00:24:58and the legends
00:24:59and the stories
00:25:00from American Indian tribes
00:25:02in the southwest,
00:25:04they have the legend
00:25:05of the star people.
00:25:08The star people came to Earth
00:25:09and seeded planet Earth.
00:25:11And they came on flying ships.
00:25:13If you speak to the elders,
00:25:16they will tell you that
00:25:17a lot of us believe
00:25:18in the existence
00:25:19of extraterrestrials.
00:25:22The Zunis
00:25:23don't have a written language.
00:25:26The storyteller comes
00:25:27and he tells the young children
00:25:28how it all happened.
00:25:30All of their songs
00:25:31that they do
00:25:32in their ceremonies
00:25:32tell the story
00:25:34over and over.
00:25:35And that's how
00:25:37they pass it down.
00:25:38Traditions, customs, beliefs.
00:25:40They tell it
00:25:41in the Indian way.
00:25:42They use things
00:25:43they understand
00:25:44to explain things
00:25:45that they don't understand.
00:25:47I remember
00:25:48my grandparents
00:25:49talking about
00:25:50a craft that flew
00:25:52and had actually
00:25:53crash-landed
00:25:54on one of the
00:25:55mesas east of here.
00:25:59There's no interpretation
00:26:01of what an aircraft is.
00:26:03So the closest thing
00:26:04that they could interpret
00:26:06as anything capable
00:26:08of flight is a bird
00:26:09or are mass kachina dancers.
00:26:13We're very, very
00:26:15superstitious people.
00:26:17It's always been
00:26:18in the history of Zuni
00:26:19that they have always
00:26:20been here.
00:26:22Even right here
00:26:22where we're sitting
00:26:23right now.
00:26:24But you just don't see them.
00:26:25They're in a different frequency.
00:26:27And those are very,
00:26:28very sacred
00:26:29and those are very,
00:26:30very secret.
00:26:32They're out there somewhere.
00:26:37Could rituals
00:26:38really serve
00:26:39as ancestral records
00:26:40of contact
00:26:41with extraterrestrials
00:26:43who came to Earth
00:26:44in the remote past?
00:26:47Ancient astronaut theorists
00:26:49say yes
00:26:50and suggest
00:26:51further proof
00:26:52can be found
00:26:53in an elaborate ceremony
00:26:54that honors their descent
00:26:56from the sky.
00:26:58You know,
00:27:03it's incredible to me
00:27:04how many of these
00:27:05ancient rituals
00:27:06involves the power
00:27:08of flight.
00:27:09In Mexico,
00:27:09for example,
00:27:10you have the participants
00:27:11descend from the sky
00:27:13commemorating the arrival
00:27:15of their so-called gods.
00:27:17Right.
00:27:17And anthropologists
00:27:18might argue
00:27:19this has something
00:27:20to do with bird worship.
00:27:21But that's not what
00:27:22the ritual looks like
00:27:23at all.
00:27:24They're not flapping
00:27:25their arms like wings.
00:27:27They're attached
00:27:28to a pole
00:27:28and they're smoothly
00:27:29gliding through the air.
00:27:32Yeah, right.
00:27:33It's like they're mimicking
00:27:33something technological,
00:27:35like a glider
00:27:36or an airplane
00:27:37or something.
00:27:37Right.
00:27:38Vera Cruz, Mexico.
00:27:46Five men
00:27:47in ceremonial dress
00:27:48ascend a 100-foot pole.
00:27:52Once at the top,
00:27:53one of the men
00:27:54performs a sacred dance
00:27:55while playing a flute
00:27:57and drum
00:27:57atop a platform.
00:27:59The other four men
00:28:00launch themselves off.
00:28:04It is a ritual
00:28:05known as La Danza
00:28:07de los Voladores
00:28:08or the Dance
00:28:10of the Flyers.
00:28:12The ritual
00:28:13has the leader
00:28:14stand on the top
00:28:14of the pole,
00:28:15tiny little platform
00:28:16and the four flyers
00:28:17wrap a cable
00:28:19around that pole
00:28:20and then branch out
00:28:21and fly around
00:28:22in a pyramid shape
00:28:23in perfect synchronous order.
00:28:25It's a stunning
00:28:26and daring thing to do.
00:28:28And they are
00:28:29representing the birds,
00:28:30they are representing
00:28:31the four cardinal directions,
00:28:32they are representing
00:28:33the elements,
00:28:34heavily symbolic
00:28:35and mythic.
00:28:36It is a powerful ritual.
00:28:42The Teutonic people
00:28:43who practice
00:28:44this ceremony today
00:28:45claim it is a dance
00:28:47that was invented
00:28:47500 years ago
00:28:49as a plea to the gods
00:28:50to end a severe drought.
00:28:53But could this ancient ritual
00:28:55have different,
00:28:56perhaps otherworldly,
00:28:58origins?
00:28:59What we have here
00:29:01with the Volodorus
00:29:02is 100%
00:29:05living mythology,
00:29:07something that describes
00:29:09and illustrates
00:29:10in front of our living eye
00:29:13the descent of the gods
00:29:16from a long time ago.
00:29:19According to ancient astronaut theorists,
00:29:23the Volodorus ritual
00:29:24is a reenactment
00:29:25of a close encounter
00:29:26with alien visitors
00:29:28in the distant past.
00:29:31They believe
00:29:32extraterrestrials
00:29:33descended upon
00:29:34the flat mountaintops
00:29:35of the Palpa region
00:29:36in Peru
00:29:37around 500 A.D.,
00:29:40dropping from their aircraft
00:29:41and gliding down to earth
00:29:43in spiraling circles.
00:29:46The Volodorus ritual
00:29:48was very technological
00:29:52as in, you know,
00:29:53these beings
00:29:55descending from the sky
00:29:56in the circle
00:29:57signifying
00:29:58arrival
00:29:59of the gods.
00:30:02Where does that
00:30:03flying
00:30:03or descending
00:30:05gods motif
00:30:06originate?
00:30:10Our ancestors
00:30:12saw something
00:30:13because
00:30:14why would you
00:30:16hurl yourself
00:30:17from a 100-foot pole
00:30:20out of nothing
00:30:21to imitate a bird?
00:30:23Birds are not
00:30:24that important.
00:30:25Something very
00:30:26significant happened.
00:30:28Could an alien encounter
00:30:30really be the inspiration
00:30:32for the Volodorus ritual?
00:30:35And could the Teutonic people
00:30:37who created the ceremony
00:30:38really have been trying
00:30:40to mimic
00:30:40the ancient gods'
00:30:42power of flight?
00:30:42As further evidence
00:30:49that early humans
00:30:50may have encountered
00:30:51alien visitors
00:30:52equipped with
00:30:53the power of flight,
00:30:54ancient astronaut
00:30:56theorists
00:30:57point to various
00:30:58artifacts and statues
00:30:59depicting ancient gods.
00:31:02One such example
00:31:03is the Mayan god,
00:31:05Amuzankam,
00:31:06also known
00:31:07as the flying
00:31:08bee god.
00:31:09another is the most
00:31:11prominent god
00:31:12of early
00:31:13Mesoamerican culture,
00:31:15the winged deity
00:31:16Quetzalcoatl.
00:31:19The Mesoamericans
00:31:21believed in the
00:31:21plume serpent
00:31:22or Quetzalcoatl,
00:31:24which came from the sky
00:31:26bringing wisdom,
00:31:27powered the wind,
00:31:29and also influenced
00:31:30everything that happened
00:31:31in the daily life
00:31:32of the Mayans.
00:31:34In fact,
00:31:34they looked to the sky
00:31:35for all their answers,
00:31:36from everything as simple
00:31:37as when to plant corn,
00:31:38to when to go to war.
00:31:40They believed all answers
00:31:41in the universe
00:31:42came from the sky
00:31:43and trying to relate
00:31:44that to their daily lives.
00:31:46The ancient record
00:31:47are loaded
00:31:47with fantastic examples
00:31:49of the gods
00:31:50flying around.
00:31:52These are the ancient aliens
00:31:53and humans are being shown
00:31:55the ultimate capability
00:31:56of these gods.
00:31:57In my eyes,
00:32:00because we are the sons
00:32:01of the gods,
00:32:02we are the upsprings
00:32:03of the gods,
00:32:04whatever humans can dream,
00:32:08whatever humans think,
00:32:11was once reality
00:32:12in the past
00:32:13or will be reality
00:32:15in the future.
00:32:20July 31st, 2003.
00:32:23The English Channel.
00:32:25Felix Baumgartner
00:32:26becomes the first person
00:32:28to cross this 22-mile-wide
00:32:30body of water
00:32:31in free fall
00:32:32using a specially made
00:32:34fiber wing.
00:32:35But the Austrian daredevil
00:32:37is just one of many
00:32:38who have used wingsuits
00:32:40to simulate flying
00:32:41by means of a free fall.
00:32:48A wingsuit
00:32:49is basically a jumpsuit
00:32:51that you put on
00:32:53under your rig
00:32:54and it's designed
00:32:56to actually make you fly
00:32:58when you exit the plane.
00:33:00The material inflates
00:33:02underneath your arms,
00:33:03in between your legs
00:33:04and creates basically
00:33:07an airfoil
00:33:07that you glide on
00:33:09through the air.
00:33:11It's an amazing feeling
00:33:12because you're actually
00:33:14the pilot
00:33:14and the plane.
00:33:17It is total freedom.
00:33:19You feel as though
00:33:20you're flying.
00:33:21Though you are falling,
00:33:25you're using the air
00:33:27to maneuver your body
00:33:29and the wingsuit
00:33:30helps you cover
00:33:30a lot of ground
00:33:31as you're descending.
00:33:34Some people have been
00:33:35exceeding
00:33:35two-to-one glide ratio.
00:33:38For example,
00:33:39three-to-one
00:33:40would mean
00:33:41for every foot
00:33:42you descend,
00:33:44you're traveling
00:33:45three feet forward.
00:33:46we got these flying guys
00:33:50that have these wings
00:33:51attached to their backs
00:33:53and they hurl themselves
00:33:54out of planes
00:33:55and some even have
00:33:56rocket engines
00:33:58attached to them
00:33:59and so they essentially
00:34:00themselves
00:34:01become airplanes.
00:34:03Now imagine
00:34:06showing that
00:34:07to someone
00:34:08from a hundred years ago.
00:34:10That person
00:34:11would be
00:34:11in complete awe
00:34:13of what they're witnessing
00:34:14not understanding
00:34:16that there is
00:34:17technology involved
00:34:19with this.
00:34:20Just using
00:34:21our own body
00:34:22we cannot fly.
00:34:24We have no wings
00:34:25but of course
00:34:26we have the fantasy
00:34:27and we have the technology
00:34:28to develop wings
00:34:30that we can fly.
00:34:32The pursuit
00:34:33of flight
00:34:34has been
00:34:35one of the most
00:34:36sought after quests
00:34:37in all of mankind's history.
00:34:40Why?
00:34:41Because with flight
00:34:43you could reach
00:34:45conceivably
00:34:46the realm
00:34:47of the gods.
00:34:54From the ancient
00:34:56Greek myth
00:34:56of Icarus
00:34:57fashioning wings
00:34:58of feathers
00:34:59and wax
00:34:59to modern daredevils
00:35:01like Felix Baumgartner
00:35:03human beings
00:35:05have been
00:35:05fascinated with
00:35:06and often
00:35:07frustrated by
00:35:08their desire
00:35:09to fly.
00:35:11But have birds
00:35:12really served
00:35:13as mankind's
00:35:14inspiration
00:35:15or
00:35:16something else
00:35:17something
00:35:18extraterrestrial?
00:35:21And if so
00:35:22might ancestral
00:35:23rituals
00:35:24preserve the memory
00:35:25of their visitation?
00:35:27Perhaps
00:35:28further evidence
00:35:29of otherworldly
00:35:30contact
00:35:30can be found
00:35:31in our oldest
00:35:32and most sacred
00:35:34funerary rites.
00:35:36when you're thinking
00:35:42about rituals
00:35:42that involve
00:35:43whole communities
00:35:44of people
00:35:44you're typically
00:35:45not thinking
00:35:46about funerary rites
00:35:47but these are
00:35:48some of the most
00:35:49powerful and mysterious
00:35:50practices we have.
00:35:52Right
00:35:52and they include
00:35:53some pretty interesting
00:35:53rituals
00:35:54like mummification
00:35:55for example
00:35:56and the Egyptians
00:35:58you know
00:35:58were very elaborate
00:35:59in how they prepared
00:36:00the body.
00:36:01Right
00:36:01and we're told
00:36:02that allegedly
00:36:03all of this
00:36:03was done
00:36:04in order to
00:36:05prepare them
00:36:05for the afterlife.
00:36:07But my question
00:36:08is
00:36:08did they witness
00:36:10extraterrestrials
00:36:11getting ready
00:36:12for a journey
00:36:13to space?
00:36:14In fact
00:36:14we covered that
00:36:15question
00:36:15in a 2014 episode
00:36:17called
00:36:18Secrets of the Mummies.
00:36:19Vatican City
00:36:24April 2nd
00:36:262005
00:36:27Pope John Paul II
00:36:30dies
00:36:31bringing his historic
00:36:3426 year papacy
00:36:35to a close.
00:36:37His corpse
00:36:38is chemically preserved
00:36:40and transported
00:36:41to St. Peter's Basilica
00:36:43for public viewing.
00:36:44In a funeral service
00:36:46watched by millions
00:36:47Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger
00:36:50speaks of the
00:36:51beloved pontiff's soul
00:36:53being guided
00:36:54to the eternal
00:36:55glory of heaven.
00:36:57His body
00:36:58is then interred
00:36:59in a large
00:37:00underground tomb
00:37:01beneath the church.
00:37:06We can see
00:37:07that a great deal
00:37:09of care
00:37:09was taken
00:37:10to preserve
00:37:11Pope John Paul's body.
00:37:14And the idea
00:37:15is that death
00:37:16in fact
00:37:16is just the beginning
00:37:17of this journey.
00:37:22Many modern funerals
00:37:23those that take place
00:37:25in Europe
00:37:25and the Americas
00:37:26many of the initial ideas
00:37:28actually have their
00:37:29roots in ancient Egypt.
00:37:33In ancient Egypt
00:37:35bodies were mummified
00:37:36and put into sarcophagi
00:37:38that resemble
00:37:40human beings
00:37:40and this is
00:37:41still done today
00:37:42in many religious traditions
00:37:44including the Roman
00:37:45Catholic Church.
00:37:46the preserved body
00:37:48of Pope John Paul II
00:37:50is essentially
00:37:51a mummy.
00:37:53But why do so many people
00:37:55go to such great lengths
00:37:57to preserve the body
00:37:58after death?
00:37:59our ancestors believed
00:38:04in an afterlife
00:38:04and that the proper
00:38:06ceremonial rites
00:38:07at time of death
00:38:08allowed the departed
00:38:09to travel to the reward
00:38:11to the next life
00:38:12which was often imagined
00:38:15to be in the heavens
00:38:15the stars
00:38:16and that this travel
00:38:18allowed the person
00:38:20to come into
00:38:20their full reward.
00:38:21we have all over the world
00:38:23people continue
00:38:24to preserve bodies
00:38:25and it's because
00:38:26there is this idea
00:38:28of living forever
00:38:28that death is not the end
00:38:30it's a beginning
00:38:31it's a transitory state.
00:38:35For some reason
00:38:36everyone has this idea
00:38:37that we need the body
00:38:38to live forever.
00:38:40If people truly believe
00:38:41there was a spiritual essence
00:38:43that infused the body
00:38:44that left
00:38:45at the moment of death
00:38:46they can't justify mummification.
00:38:52What can explain the fact
00:38:54that for thousands of years
00:38:55in cultures
00:38:56throughout the world
00:38:57people have held a belief
00:38:59that the preservation
00:39:00of the body
00:39:01is necessary
00:39:02to transition
00:39:03into the afterlife?
00:39:06Ancient astronaut theorists
00:39:08believe
00:39:09clues can be found
00:39:10hidden beneath
00:39:11the desert sands
00:39:12of Upper Egypt.
00:39:16The Valley of the Kings
00:39:21located on the western bank
00:39:25of the Nile River
00:39:26lies one of the most
00:39:27expansive burial grounds
00:39:29in all of Egypt.
00:39:31The tombs were constructed
00:39:33between 1539
00:39:35and 1075 BC
00:39:37for pharaohs
00:39:38and other nobility.
00:39:43To date
00:39:4463 tombs
00:39:46have been discovered
00:39:47in the Valley of the Kings.
00:39:50One of the best preserved
00:39:51is that of Pharaoh
00:39:53Ramses VI
00:39:54who ruled
00:39:56from approximately
00:39:571145
00:39:58to 1137 BC.
00:40:07More than 4,000 years ago
00:40:09King Ramses
00:40:10would have started
00:40:10digging this
00:40:11to become his tomb
00:40:13or as he called it
00:40:14his house of eternity.
00:40:18For ancient Egyptians
00:40:20a tomb
00:40:21wasn't just a place
00:40:21where they would
00:40:22end up dead.
00:40:24A tomb
00:40:25was a place
00:40:26where they would start
00:40:27their eternal life.
00:40:34The Egyptians
00:40:35believed that in death
00:40:36the soul would split
00:40:38into several parts
00:40:39and begin the journey
00:40:41and begin the journey
00:40:41to the afterlife.
00:40:43But to make
00:40:44this transition
00:40:45it was essential
00:40:46to reunite the soul
00:40:48with the physical body.
00:40:51And while the Egyptians
00:40:53were not the first
00:40:54to mummify their dead
00:40:55no other ancient culture
00:40:57went to such great lengths
00:40:59to preserve the body
00:41:01and ensure entrance
00:41:02into the next life.
00:41:06Ancient Egyptians
00:41:07would put a body
00:41:09that needed to be
00:41:10mummified
00:41:11in a dry room.
00:41:14And they would first
00:41:15take out
00:41:16the internal organs
00:41:17and they'd pack
00:41:19that body
00:41:19with natron salt
00:41:20to start the drying process.
00:41:22And then
00:41:25they would remove
00:41:25the brain.
00:41:28And then they would
00:41:29rinse the body
00:41:30with sweet smelling oils
00:41:32and they'd cover
00:41:34the entire body
00:41:35in natron salt
00:41:36and it would stay
00:41:37that way
00:41:37for about
00:41:3835 to 70 days.
00:41:42Once the body
00:41:43was all dried out
00:41:44they would wrap
00:41:44the entire body
00:41:45putting amulets
00:41:47and other special
00:41:49jeweled objects
00:41:50in the linen
00:41:51and then
00:41:52once it was
00:41:53completely wrapped
00:41:53and be done.
00:42:00The Egyptians
00:42:01understood
00:42:02the most important
00:42:03factor in mummification
00:42:04the removal of fluids
00:42:06which ensures
00:42:07that bacteria
00:42:08cannot survive
00:42:09and the body
00:42:10will not decay.
00:42:13Although archaeologists
00:42:15have discovered
00:42:16much about
00:42:17how these mummies
00:42:17were prepared
00:42:18the Egyptians
00:42:19left behind
00:42:20note texts
00:42:21or instructions
00:42:22on mummification.
00:42:24Just how the Egyptians
00:42:25came to create
00:42:26this complex practice
00:42:28remains a mystery.
00:42:30But they did
00:42:31leave behind
00:42:32extensive records
00:42:33regarding their thoughts
00:42:34on the afterlife.
00:42:35This right here
00:42:40is a very good depiction
00:42:41of the journey
00:42:44of the afterlife
00:42:45with King Rameses.
00:42:46You see him here
00:42:47on a solar barge
00:42:49being protected
00:42:50by all the different
00:42:51gods behind him
00:42:52goddess Isis
00:42:53and goddess Osiris.
00:42:56This right here
00:42:57is god Anubis
00:42:59and god Anubis
00:43:00is the god
00:43:01of the mummification.
00:43:02The most important
00:43:05story in Egyptian
00:43:07mythology
00:43:08is the god Osiris
00:43:09how his brother
00:43:10Set coveted
00:43:11his brother's
00:43:13power
00:43:14and killed him.
00:43:16Then
00:43:17his wife Isis
00:43:19in grief
00:43:20got help
00:43:20from Anubis
00:43:21who then helped
00:43:23Isis breathe life
00:43:24back into him
00:43:25to survive
00:43:26into the next life
00:43:28with the help
00:43:29of Anubis
00:43:30the inventor
00:43:31of embalming
00:43:32and mummification.
00:43:34The mummification
00:43:35process in Egypt
00:43:37is often related
00:43:38to the star Sirius
00:43:41which we call
00:43:42the dog star.
00:43:44And the mummification
00:43:44rites were
00:43:45overseen
00:43:46by the Egyptian god
00:43:47Anubis
00:43:48who was a
00:43:49jackal headed god.
00:43:51And so you have
00:43:51to wonder
00:43:52if Anubis
00:43:53wasn't some
00:43:55real physical
00:43:56extraterrestrial god.
00:43:59The ancient
00:44:00Egyptian temple
00:44:01walls are
00:44:02covered
00:44:03with images
00:44:04of transformation.
00:44:07And what it reveals
00:44:08is that their
00:44:09core sacred science
00:44:10was about
00:44:11human transformation
00:44:13or ascension
00:44:14into celestial beings.
00:44:17So you wonder
00:44:18is it possible
00:44:20it's because
00:44:20those who
00:44:21originally taught us
00:44:22the concept
00:44:23came from the stars.
00:44:29Could it be
00:44:32that the ancient
00:44:33Egyptians' beliefs
00:44:34about the afterlife
00:44:35were influenced
00:44:36by extraterrestrial
00:44:38visitors?
00:44:39Was it from
00:44:40these visitors
00:44:41that they learned
00:44:42the process
00:44:42of mummification?
00:44:44And if so
00:44:45what was their
00:44:47ultimate agenda?
00:44:49Perhaps further clues
00:44:51can be found
00:44:51by examining
00:44:52the rituals
00:44:53of the Inca
00:44:54who believed
00:44:55that mummies
00:44:56could communicate
00:44:57with beings
00:44:58from beyond earth.
00:45:09Cusco, Peru.
00:45:12This sacred city
00:45:14was once the capital
00:45:15of the Inca Empire
00:45:16and by the 13th century
00:45:19was the center
00:45:21of one of the largest
00:45:22and most sophisticated
00:45:24pre-Columbian civilizations
00:45:26in the Americas.
00:45:31The Inca
00:45:32were renowned
00:45:33for their proficiency
00:45:34in architecture
00:45:36and widely regarded
00:45:38as the most important
00:45:39of their many temple complexes
00:45:41was the one known
00:45:43as Coricancha.
00:45:45Historical accounts
00:45:46describe it
00:45:48as a magnificent
00:45:48palace of gold
00:45:49that housed
00:45:51the most holy objects
00:45:52of worship
00:45:52for the Inca
00:45:53the mummies
00:45:55of their dead kings.
00:46:01That's where
00:46:02the king did
00:46:02his most important rituals
00:46:04and where the mummies
00:46:06of the previous
00:46:07Sapa Incas
00:46:09or kings were kept.
00:46:11And those mummies
00:46:13were communicated with
00:46:15on a regular basis.
00:46:16Even today,
00:46:19descendants of the Inca
00:46:20recreate the centuries-old practice
00:46:23of using the mummies
00:46:24in sacred ceremonies.
00:46:28Four times a year
00:46:29they were brought out
00:46:30and the living descendants
00:46:32would then consult with them
00:46:33about the affairs of state
00:46:35as well as what they should do
00:46:36in the future.
00:46:37It was believed that these mummies
00:46:41could communicate
00:46:42with deities
00:46:43or otherworldly beings
00:46:45in this twilight realm
00:46:47or in this state
00:46:50between life and death.
00:46:53They even had people
00:46:55specially trained
00:46:56to take care of the royal mummies
00:46:57and some of the duties
00:46:59that these caretakers had
00:47:02were interpreting
00:47:03what the mummy wished to say
00:47:04arranging meetings
00:47:06with the living
00:47:07and the dead
00:47:07and strangely
00:47:08even taking the mummy
00:47:10outside
00:47:10so he could urinate.
00:47:12But why would the Inca
00:47:20the most advanced civilization
00:47:22in South America
00:47:23at the time
00:47:24treat corpses
00:47:25as though they were living
00:47:27thinking beings?
00:47:29Perhaps the answer
00:47:31can be found
00:47:32by examining
00:47:33the Incan creation story.
00:47:35The Incan creation myth
00:47:38describes
00:47:39how the world
00:47:40was created
00:47:41by the Ayer brothers
00:47:42and the word
00:47:44Ayer actually means
00:47:46mummy.
00:47:48So written right
00:47:49into the myth
00:47:49from the very beginning
00:47:50is the idea
00:47:52that mummification
00:47:52is of central importance
00:47:54to whomever
00:47:56and whatever
00:47:57these gods are.
00:47:59Is it possible
00:48:00that those mythical gods
00:48:02were actually
00:48:03extraterrestrial
00:48:05flesh and blood
00:48:06beings of some kind?
00:48:10But if the Ayer brothers
00:48:12really were
00:48:14extraterrestrials
00:48:15why would the Inca
00:48:16have used the same term
00:48:18for these alien visitors
00:48:19as they did
00:48:21for their mummified dead?
00:48:23Ancient astronaut theorists
00:48:25suggest
00:48:26that the Inca
00:48:27may have witnessed
00:48:28these otherworldly
00:48:29space travelers
00:48:30emerging from a state
00:48:31of suspended animation.
00:48:35what if
00:48:36they were trying
00:48:38to mimic
00:48:38whatever it is
00:48:40they saw
00:48:41and so
00:48:44if someone
00:48:45with no technological
00:48:47knowledge
00:48:48witnesses someone
00:48:50who is in
00:48:51suspended animation
00:48:52and then
00:48:54they come
00:48:55alive
00:48:56they have just
00:48:58witnessed
00:48:58the resurrection
00:48:59of someone
00:49:00someone coming back
00:49:02from the dead
00:49:02when in reality
00:49:04that was never
00:49:05the case.
00:49:06is it possible
00:49:11that the Inca
00:49:12witnessed alien visitors
00:49:14coming out
00:49:15of hibernation
00:49:16and that this is why
00:49:17they mummified
00:49:19their dead?
00:49:21Ancient astronaut theorists
00:49:23say yes
00:49:23and claim
00:49:25that this might
00:49:26also explain
00:49:27mummification
00:49:27in other cultures
00:49:29most notably
00:49:30the Egyptians
00:49:31it's possible
00:49:34that the exeterrestrials
00:49:36who visited Egypt
00:49:37would have needed
00:49:38to have some sort
00:49:39of hyperbaric
00:49:40isolation chambers
00:49:41to get from
00:49:41their home world
00:49:42to here
00:49:43now if that is true
00:49:45then it's also possible
00:49:46that the mummification
00:49:48ritual
00:49:49actually originated
00:49:51from this
00:49:52long term
00:49:53hyperbaric storage
00:49:54that they were doing
00:49:55with their bodies
00:49:56inside
00:49:57sarcophagus
00:49:58like chambers
00:49:59one idea
00:50:01certainly
00:50:01is that
00:50:02human beings
00:50:04and the societies
00:50:05were seeing
00:50:06extraterrestrials
00:50:07who were
00:50:08wrapped in
00:50:08certain body suits
00:50:10and then they would
00:50:11come back alive
00:50:13they were put
00:50:14in a special
00:50:15suspended animation
00:50:16that was
00:50:17similar
00:50:18to mummification
00:50:19and perhaps
00:50:21this is why
00:50:22the Egyptians
00:50:23were doing
00:50:25mummification
00:50:26could mummification
00:50:30really have been
00:50:31an attempt
00:50:32by ancient people
00:50:33to imitate
00:50:34extraterrestrial
00:50:35space travelers
00:50:36perhaps
00:50:38but ancient
00:50:39astronaut theorists
00:50:40propose
00:50:41that there may be
00:50:42an even more
00:50:43profound explanation
00:50:44that early humans
00:50:47were not simply
00:50:48imitating alien
00:50:49visitors
00:50:50but intended
00:50:52to join them
00:50:52in the future
00:50:54and they suggest
00:50:56that other
00:50:57ritualistic processes
00:50:58were left behind
00:51:00granting humans
00:51:01the ability
00:51:02to commune
00:51:03with other
00:51:04worldly beings
00:51:05at will
00:51:07you know
00:51:11while we have
00:51:11a lot of rituals
00:51:12that are about
00:51:13people commemorating
00:51:14the past
00:51:14or past encounters
00:51:16we also have
00:51:17a lot of rituals
00:51:18that are about
00:51:19people contacting
00:51:20the gods
00:51:20oh absolutely
00:51:21there are multiple
00:51:23cultures that talk
00:51:24about creating
00:51:24specific sound
00:51:26frequencies
00:51:26in order to
00:51:28communicate with
00:51:28the gods
00:51:29but that's not all
00:51:30they also took
00:51:31mind altering
00:51:32substances
00:51:32in order to
00:51:33access other realms
00:51:35yeah and all
00:51:36these cultures
00:51:36had shamans
00:51:37and priests
00:51:38that acted
00:51:38as guides
00:51:39and we still
00:51:40have them today
00:51:41so you wonder
00:51:42were some of our
00:51:43present day rituals
00:51:44taught to our
00:51:45ancestors by
00:51:46extraterrestrials
00:51:47to make contact
00:51:47with them
00:51:48the amazon jungle
00:51:55peru
00:51:56stretching from
00:51:59the andes mountains
00:52:00to the eastern
00:52:01shores of brazil
00:52:02this rainforest
00:52:04is home to more
00:52:05than 80,000 species
00:52:07of plants
00:52:08many of which
00:52:09shamans and
00:52:10religious healers
00:52:11have consumed
00:52:13for thousands
00:52:14of years
00:52:14as a way
00:52:16to access realms
00:52:17they say
00:52:18are inhabited
00:52:19by otherworldly
00:52:20beings
00:52:21in the amazon
00:52:25one of the shamans
00:52:26jobs aside from
00:52:27going to the
00:52:28otherworld and
00:52:29speaking with the
00:52:29spirits
00:52:30is to find the
00:52:32plants right here
00:52:33on earth
00:52:34that can heal
00:52:36the people of
00:52:36his tribe
00:52:37and in the
00:52:41amazonian belief
00:52:42systems
00:52:42each plant
00:52:44in the jungle
00:52:45has its own
00:52:46spirit
00:52:46and one of the
00:52:51shamans
00:52:51gifts
00:52:52is that he can
00:52:53communicate with
00:52:54these plant spirits
00:52:55originating in the
00:52:58central andes of
00:52:59south america
00:53:00ayahuasca
00:53:02meaning the vine of
00:53:03the souls
00:53:03is a psychedelic
00:53:05brew
00:53:06consisting of two
00:53:07different types of
00:53:08plants cooked with
00:53:09water
00:53:09and this is drunk
00:53:12by the shaman
00:53:13but in order to
00:53:14enter the spirit
00:53:15world
00:53:16to gain information
00:53:17about diseases
00:53:17to force
00:53:18see the future
00:53:19to carry out a
00:53:21healing for somebody
00:53:22we know
00:53:24some of the history
00:53:25of ayahuasca
00:53:25because archaeologists
00:53:27have found artifacts
00:53:27from the rainforest
00:53:28which date back
00:53:29three and a half
00:53:30thousand or
00:53:31four thousand years
00:53:32but those are only
00:53:33the surviving artifacts
00:53:34that they've found
00:53:35potentially this could
00:53:37go back to the
00:53:37beginning of time
00:53:38ayahuasca contains
00:53:42dimethyltryptamine
00:53:43or dmt
00:53:44one of the most
00:53:45powerful hallucinogens
00:53:47known to man
00:53:48but strangely
00:53:49this chemical compound
00:53:51only works
00:53:52when consumed
00:53:53under precise conditions
00:53:55ingest dmt
00:53:56it's inactivated
00:53:57in the intestine
00:53:58by
00:53:59certain enzymes
00:54:01so
00:54:02in order to get
00:54:03the dmt
00:54:04to be activated
00:54:06and to be able
00:54:06to be absorbed
00:54:07they had to combine
00:54:08it with other
00:54:08plants
00:54:09ayahuasca
00:54:10contains a mixture
00:54:12of two plants
00:54:13there's actually
00:54:14quite subtle
00:54:16and sophisticated
00:54:17knowledge of plants
00:54:19goes into the
00:54:20preparation
00:54:20because these two
00:54:21things on
00:54:21separately will not
00:54:22work
00:54:23you have to mix
00:54:24them together
00:54:25and let's not forget
00:54:26that there's
00:54:26a hundred and fifty
00:54:28thousand different
00:54:29species of plants
00:54:29and trees
00:54:30in the amazon
00:54:30it's really quite
00:54:31an amazing
00:54:31achievement
00:54:32of ancient chemistry
00:54:34to bring these two
00:54:35plants together
00:54:36to produce a highly
00:54:37psychoactive
00:54:38visionary brew
00:54:40but how did
00:54:43ancient people
00:54:44living in the jungles
00:54:45of peru
00:54:46over three thousand
00:54:47years ago
00:54:48with tens of thousands
00:54:50of plants
00:54:50to choose from
00:54:51figure out
00:54:53that combining
00:54:53these two
00:54:54particular plants
00:54:55would produce
00:54:56these powerful
00:54:57visions
00:54:57according to the
00:55:00mythology
00:55:00of the ashwer
00:55:01people of the amazon
00:55:02their ancestors
00:55:04didn't discover
00:55:04this on their own
00:55:05but were guided
00:55:06by extraterrestrial
00:55:08beings
00:55:09the shamans
00:55:16communicated
00:55:16with their spirits
00:55:17and were told
00:55:18to go into
00:55:19the jungle
00:55:19and turn
00:55:20two corners
00:55:21as the myth
00:55:22goes
00:55:22and then they
00:55:23would find
00:55:23this plant
00:55:24and they brought
00:55:27that back
00:55:27to the village
00:55:28prepared it
00:55:28in the appropriate
00:55:29way
00:55:29the oral tradition
00:55:32says that ayahuasca
00:55:33is a linkage
00:55:34to the upper
00:55:36world
00:55:36and it is
00:55:38entirely possible
00:55:39that they were
00:55:41given this
00:55:42gift
00:55:43by their own
00:55:44gods
00:55:45which may be
00:55:46extraterrestrials
00:55:48if the ashwer
00:55:54story of how
00:55:54their ancestors
00:55:55discovered
00:55:56ayahuasca
00:55:56is true
00:55:57could they
00:55:59have been
00:55:59guided not
00:55:59by spirits
00:56:00but by
00:56:01extraterrestrial
00:56:02beings
00:56:03beings
00:56:04who communicated
00:56:05with them
00:56:06on another
00:56:07plane of reality
00:56:08between
00:56:131990
00:56:14and 1995
00:56:15scientists
00:56:17at the
00:56:17University of
00:56:18New Mexico
00:56:18administered
00:56:19DMT
00:56:20the active
00:56:21ingredient
00:56:22in ayahuasca
00:56:23to 60
00:56:24volunteers
00:56:25and discovered
00:56:27shocking results
00:56:28medical researchers
00:56:30actually administered
00:56:32DMT to patients
00:56:33in a controlled
00:56:34medical setting
00:56:35and they had
00:56:35exactly the same
00:56:36experiences
00:56:37as those reported
00:56:38in the jungles
00:56:39of South America
00:56:40and elsewhere
00:56:40who were experiencing
00:56:41ayahuasca
00:56:42ayahuasca users
00:56:44typically experience
00:56:46hallucinations
00:56:47in the visual
00:56:48form
00:56:48and a lot
00:56:49of them
00:56:50say that
00:56:50they see
00:56:51other beings
00:56:52and a lot
00:56:55of them
00:56:55say that
00:56:55they get
00:56:56messages
00:56:56sent to them
00:56:57from these
00:56:58beings
00:56:58in several cases
00:57:01those intelligent
00:57:02entities
00:57:02said to them
00:57:03roughly the following
00:57:04we're so pleased
00:57:06you've discovered
00:57:07this technology
00:57:07now we can
00:57:09communicate
00:57:09with you
00:57:10more often
00:57:11perhaps what we're
00:57:12dealing with here
00:57:13is intelligent
00:57:14inhabitants
00:57:15of other dimensions
00:57:16why would so many
00:57:18people report
00:57:19such similar
00:57:20experiences
00:57:21while using
00:57:22ayahuasca
00:57:23is it possible
00:57:25extraterrestrials
00:57:27gave the ancients
00:57:28the recipe
00:57:29for this powerful
00:57:30concoction
00:57:31as a way to
00:57:32communicate
00:57:32healing powers
00:57:33with shamans
00:57:34and if so
00:57:36might the very
00:57:37core of mankind's
00:57:39knowledge about
00:57:39medicine
00:57:40have come from
00:57:41an otherworldly
00:57:42source
00:57:43Huashan Mountain
00:57:47China
00:57:48this 7,000 foot
00:57:52high peak
00:57:52in the Shanxi
00:57:53province
00:57:54is believed
00:57:55to have been
00:57:55the place
00:57:56where Shenang
00:57:56a benevolent emperor
00:57:57that ruled the area
00:57:58more than
00:57:594,500 years ago
00:58:01was conceived
00:58:02according to
00:58:04accounts from
00:58:04the Han dynasty
00:58:05Shenang
00:58:06not only introduced
00:58:08agriculture to
00:58:09mankind
00:58:09but also developed
00:58:11a profound
00:58:11knowledge
00:58:12of Chinese herbs
00:58:13Shenang
00:58:17pledged
00:58:18that he would
00:58:18venture out
00:58:19into the world
00:58:19and test
00:58:21every plant
00:58:22on the planet
00:58:23in order to
00:58:24determine
00:58:24its benefits
00:58:26for humans
00:58:27and also
00:58:28to catalogue
00:58:28the more
00:58:30toxic or dangerous
00:58:31effects
00:58:32of ingesting
00:58:33these plants
00:58:33sometimes
00:58:36he would ingest
00:58:37of course
00:58:38poisonous plants
00:58:39and he would
00:58:40suffer poisonings
00:58:42up to 70 times
00:58:43per day
00:58:44more than
00:58:472,000 years later
00:58:48Shenang's findings
00:58:50were compiled
00:58:50in the Divine
00:58:51Farmer's Herb Root
00:58:53Classic
00:58:53a medical journal
00:58:55that became
00:58:55one of the foundations
00:58:56of Chinese medicine
00:58:58but just how could
00:59:01this mysterious being
00:59:02have tested
00:59:03so many herbs
00:59:04some even
00:59:05containing deadly
00:59:06poisons
00:59:07Shenang was a
00:59:10quite unusual
00:59:11person
00:59:11it said that he
00:59:12had a transparent
00:59:14stomach
00:59:15and he himself
00:59:16after ingesting
00:59:17these poisons
00:59:18would look into
00:59:19his own stomach
00:59:20and see how
00:59:22these poisons
00:59:23were interacting
00:59:24with himself
00:59:25and then he would
00:59:27take the antidotes
00:59:28for it
00:59:28so you have to wonder
00:59:31if he's not
00:59:33some kind
00:59:34of extraterrestrial
00:59:36Shenang
00:59:37could in fact
00:59:38have been
00:59:39an astral
00:59:40or star being
00:59:41who came to
00:59:42Earth
00:59:42to teach
00:59:43the secrets
00:59:43of healing
00:59:44this idea
00:59:46would explain
00:59:47his strange
00:59:48appearance
00:59:48and also
00:59:50his ability
00:59:50to withstand
00:59:51ingesting
00:59:52poisonous plants
00:59:53without ever
00:59:54being harmed
00:59:55might Shenang
01:00:00have been
01:00:00an alien visitor
01:00:01one who traveled
01:00:03to Earth
01:00:03in order to
01:00:04educate mankind
01:00:05about medicine
01:00:06and the healing
01:00:07nature of plants
01:00:08and is this proof
01:00:11that ingesting
01:00:12DMT
01:00:13a practice
01:00:14that dates back
01:00:15thousands of years
01:00:16actually connects
01:00:17shamans
01:00:18with extraterrestrial
01:00:20beings
01:00:20ancient astronaut
01:00:22theorists
01:00:23say yes
01:00:23and claim
01:00:25further
01:00:25evidence lies
01:00:26with the
01:00:27supernatural
01:00:27healing rituals
01:00:28of the
01:00:29San Bushmen
01:00:30the Kalahari Desert
01:00:40South Africa
01:00:42here
01:00:44the native
01:00:45San Bushmen
01:00:45hold elaborate
01:00:46fireside rituals
01:00:48lasting for hours
01:00:49into the night
01:00:50during these
01:00:51ceremonies
01:00:52their shamans
01:00:53perform what's
01:00:54known as a
01:00:54trance dance
01:00:55through which
01:00:57they reach
01:00:57an altered
01:00:58state of being
01:00:58and access
01:01:00other dimensions
01:01:01the trance dance
01:01:05is thought to
01:01:06activate an energy
01:01:07in their body
01:01:08called
01:01:08noon
01:01:09and this energy
01:01:10opens a portal
01:01:12of sorts
01:01:12that enables them
01:01:13to travel
01:01:14into the spirit world
01:01:15and when the
01:01:18Bushmen
01:01:18activate this energy
01:01:19they're able to
01:01:21put their hands
01:01:22in the fire
01:01:22without being
01:01:23burned
01:01:23they can see
01:01:24vast distances
01:01:25and it's as if
01:01:26in every way
01:01:27shape and form
01:01:27they're transformed
01:01:29into super powerful
01:01:30beings
01:01:31by accessing the power
01:01:34of noon energy
01:01:35it is believed
01:01:37that a shaman
01:01:38who can extract
01:01:39illness
01:01:39see the insides
01:01:41of the sick
01:01:42and travel out
01:01:44of their own body
01:01:44to the land
01:01:45of the gods
01:01:46this number
01:01:49goes up the body
01:01:50and then often
01:01:51it goes out
01:01:51of the crown
01:01:52of the head
01:01:52and that's usually
01:01:53when the out-of-body
01:01:54experience occurs
01:01:55and they travel
01:01:56to the spirit world
01:01:57I've seen a Bushman
01:01:59put a coal in his mouth
01:02:01and he wasn't burnt
01:02:02they put their heads
01:02:03in the fire
01:02:03and although their hair
01:02:04might singe
01:02:05and even catch fire
01:02:06their face won't be burnt
01:02:07so something is happening
01:02:09with this num energy
01:02:10they call it
01:02:12boiling energy
01:02:12it's almost like
01:02:13there's a vibrational change
01:02:15in the whole body
01:02:16and probably
01:02:17in the DNA
01:02:18in some way
01:02:19could the so-called
01:02:22num energy
01:02:23really be inherent
01:02:24in shamans
01:02:25accessed
01:02:26only while
01:02:27in a sort of
01:02:27dream state
01:02:28and is it possible
01:02:30that the genetic makeup
01:02:32of these medicine men
01:02:33is what allows them
01:02:34to access
01:02:35other dimensions
01:02:36the San Bush people
01:02:43have a tradition
01:02:44that they are
01:02:45the first tribe
01:02:47ever created
01:02:48they're the oldest
01:02:49people in the world
01:02:50DNA tests
01:02:52have shown
01:02:53that they probably
01:02:55are
01:02:55that all other
01:02:57cultures
01:02:58and all other peoples
01:03:00that spread
01:03:00throughout the world
01:03:01came originally
01:03:03from where
01:03:05the San people
01:03:07are now
01:03:08when we look
01:03:12at the San Bushmen
01:03:13and we see
01:03:14the clear genetic evidence
01:03:16that they are
01:03:17the primordial seed
01:03:18of human civilization
01:03:19and life
01:03:20on earth
01:03:21it is possible
01:03:22that their DNA
01:03:24is especially
01:03:25well equipped
01:03:27to have this potential
01:03:29to access
01:03:30these non-ordinary
01:03:31states of consciousness
01:03:32which may in fact
01:03:34be a key
01:03:34to physically journeying
01:03:36into them
01:03:37giving these people
01:03:39the ability
01:03:40to do things
01:03:41that most of us
01:03:42seemingly cannot
01:03:43is it possible
01:03:46that the San Bushmen
01:03:47have special knowledge
01:03:49of how to alter
01:03:49their genetic makeup
01:03:50in order to access
01:03:52other realms
01:03:53a knowledge
01:03:54that is shared
01:03:55by shamans
01:03:56around the world
01:03:57and might this knowledge
01:03:59or power
01:04:00have been given
01:04:01to them
01:04:01by alien beings
01:04:03ancient astronaut
01:04:05theorists
01:04:05believe an undeniable
01:04:07connection
01:04:07between shamans
01:04:08and extraterrestrials
01:04:10can be found
01:04:11in cave paintings
01:04:12that date back
01:04:13thousands of years
01:04:14the Lascaux Caves
01:04:20southwestern France
01:04:21discovered in 1940
01:04:24near the village
01:04:25of Montagnac
01:04:26this cave complex
01:04:29is covered
01:04:29in paleolithic paintings
01:04:31dating back
01:04:32more than 17,000 years
01:04:34anthropologists believe
01:04:38ancient shamans
01:04:39used these subterranean
01:04:41chambers
01:04:41to perform
01:04:42sacred rituals
01:04:43and curiously
01:04:46among the many
01:04:48ice age animals
01:04:49that are depicted
01:04:50on the walls
01:04:50there is a strange creature
01:04:52that has the body
01:04:54of a man
01:04:54and the head
01:04:55of a bird
01:04:56the technical term
01:04:58for such a creature
01:04:59is a therianthrope
01:05:01and that's from
01:05:02the Greek therion
01:05:02which means wild beast
01:05:04and anthropos
01:05:05which means man
01:05:06clearly these are not
01:05:08things that one
01:05:09encounters
01:05:10in everyday life
01:05:12the imagery
01:05:13of cave art
01:05:14is best explained
01:05:16as the experiences
01:05:18that shamans
01:05:19undergo
01:05:20in a deep state
01:05:21of trance
01:05:22when they return
01:05:24from the trance state
01:05:26they then depict
01:05:28on the cave walls
01:05:30the visions
01:05:30that they have seen
01:05:32in this deeply altered
01:05:33state of consciousness
01:05:34the bird man
01:05:40the bird man found
01:05:41in lasco
01:05:41is reminiscent
01:05:42of one of the
01:05:43Egyptians
01:05:44most important gods
01:05:45Thoth
01:05:46it is also consistent
01:05:48with the depiction
01:05:49of the Sumerian sky gods
01:05:51the Anunnaki
01:05:52but is it mere coincidence
01:05:54that these shamans
01:05:56are encountering
01:05:57the same types of beings
01:05:58while in a trance
01:05:59that the world's
01:06:00earliest civilizations
01:06:01depicted
01:06:02as their gods
01:06:03in all of these
01:06:07different indigenous
01:06:08cultures around the world
01:06:09there are remarkable
01:06:10similarities
01:06:11of what types
01:06:12of beings
01:06:13people claim
01:06:14to be meeting
01:06:15when they go out
01:06:16of body
01:06:17this suggests
01:06:19that in the dream plane
01:06:20and in the shamanic state
01:06:22there is in fact
01:06:23a real place
01:06:24that we are going
01:06:25and real beings
01:06:27that we are encountering
01:06:28when we get there
01:06:29this is where the ancient
01:06:31astronaut theory suggests
01:06:33that they were the same
01:06:36teachers
01:06:36the teachers
01:06:37that went to all
01:06:39the ancient cultures
01:06:41and brought them
01:06:43the basics
01:06:44for what we've accomplished
01:06:45today
01:06:46but there was
01:06:51a big
01:06:52noticeable change
01:06:54in human behavior
01:06:56around 40,000 years ago
01:06:57exactly at the time
01:06:59that our ancestors
01:06:59begin to manifest
01:07:00the first
01:07:01amazing
01:07:02cave art
01:07:04but what is clear
01:07:06is that it's not
01:07:07a coincidence
01:07:07that at the moment
01:07:09that the
01:07:10cave art
01:07:11begins
01:07:12we also witness
01:07:13in the archaeological record
01:07:15a radical change
01:07:16in human behavior
01:07:18could the lasco cape paintings
01:07:21be proof
01:07:22that shamans
01:07:23really do communicate
01:07:25with extraterrestrial beings
01:07:27as ancient astronaut
01:07:29theorists suggest
01:07:30and if so
01:07:32might it be
01:07:33that the rituals
01:07:34performed by tribal elders
01:07:36enable them to bridge
01:07:38the gap
01:07:38between humans
01:07:39and these
01:07:40otherworldly entities
01:07:42perhaps the answer
01:07:44can be found
01:07:45by examining
01:07:46a somewhat more
01:07:47traditional ceremony
01:07:48one still performed
01:07:51to this day
01:07:52and to an audience
01:07:53of millions
01:07:54around the world
01:07:56you know
01:08:02a lot of these
01:08:03ancient ceremonies
01:08:04have survived
01:08:05to the present day
01:08:06like for example
01:08:07coronation ceremonies
01:08:09yeah
01:08:10look at the
01:08:10british royal family
01:08:11their rights
01:08:13with the coronation
01:08:14involve
01:08:15scepters
01:08:15and crowns
01:08:16and other objects
01:08:17as part of their
01:08:18coronation
01:08:19going on for centuries
01:08:20yeah
01:08:21they even have
01:08:21this strange object
01:08:22called the stone of destiny
01:08:24that they place
01:08:24in the throne
01:08:25and what all this is doing
01:08:27is elevating
01:08:28the king or queen
01:08:29to a higher realm
01:08:30these strange rituals
01:08:32give them the right
01:08:33to rule
01:08:33edinburgh castle
01:08:38scotland
01:08:39in the crown room
01:08:42lies a 336 pound
01:08:44oblong stone block
01:08:45known as the stone
01:08:48of destiny
01:08:49and also
01:08:50as the stone
01:08:50of scone
01:08:51it has been present
01:08:53at the coronation
01:08:54of nearly every
01:08:55english and scottish
01:08:56monarch
01:08:57for more than
01:08:58800 years
01:08:59its purpose
01:09:02to unite
01:09:03the new ruler
01:09:03with god
01:09:04and there are
01:09:06those who believe
01:09:07it is part
01:09:08of a meteor
01:09:08that fell to earth
01:09:09more than
01:09:103,000 years ago
01:09:12the stone
01:09:15that was seen
01:09:15as an axis mundi
01:09:16the connection point
01:09:17between heaven
01:09:18and earth
01:09:19it was almost like
01:09:20the english
01:09:21strengthened
01:09:22their own belief
01:09:23that westminster abbey
01:09:25was the axis mundi
01:09:27they placed it
01:09:29within a throne
01:09:30right in front
01:09:32of the cosmarchy pavement
01:09:34and within this
01:09:36cosmarchy pavement
01:09:37are circles
01:09:39and swirls
01:09:40and lines
01:09:41that represent
01:09:42the universe
01:09:44as a whole
01:09:45and the
01:09:47monarch
01:09:48becomes
01:09:48what's known
01:09:50as a
01:09:50cosmocrata
01:09:52looking over
01:09:54not just
01:09:55what was going on
01:09:55on the earth
01:09:57but the stars
01:09:58the heavens
01:09:59as a whole
01:10:00by sitting
01:10:01on the throne
01:10:03is this ancient stone
01:10:07merely a symbol
01:10:08of divine right
01:10:09or might it
01:10:11at one time
01:10:12have held
01:10:13some strange
01:10:13unknown power
01:10:15throughout recorded history
01:10:19coronation rituals
01:10:21have incorporated
01:10:22devices like
01:10:23the stone of destiny
01:10:24as a way of linking
01:10:26the new ruler
01:10:26with superior beings
01:10:28beyond our world
01:10:30what is a coronation
01:10:32in the first place
01:10:33well it's the idea
01:10:35that the monarch
01:10:37can embody
01:10:38some kind of
01:10:40cosmic consciousness
01:10:42something that is divine
01:10:44and this is actually
01:10:46best seen
01:10:47through
01:10:48the eyes
01:10:49of the old traditions
01:10:50relating to the
01:10:51Japanese mikados
01:10:52they would have to
01:10:55sit upon the throne
01:10:57which would be
01:10:58considered to be
01:10:58the point of creation
01:11:00of the world
01:11:00there's a notion
01:11:02called the divine
01:11:03right of kings
01:11:04that certain
01:11:06british kings
01:11:07had
01:11:07that somehow
01:11:08the sovereign
01:11:10is god's representative
01:11:12on planet earth
01:11:13but for the ancients
01:11:14it went steps
01:11:16further
01:11:16but if some
01:11:19otherworldly power
01:11:20is actually being
01:11:21handed down
01:11:22who
01:11:23or what
01:11:24is the source
01:11:26of that power
01:11:26if you are an
01:11:28extraterrestrial
01:11:29and you came
01:11:30down to this planet
01:11:31one of the first
01:11:32things you try to do
01:11:33would be to mingle
01:11:34with leadership
01:11:35and I think
01:11:36the pharaohs
01:11:37believed that they
01:11:38might have been
01:11:39gods themselves
01:11:40the king was considered
01:11:44the king was considered a deity
01:11:45did he go back
01:11:47into his room
01:11:48and sit and talk
01:11:49with the gods
01:11:50we don't know
01:11:52we weren't exact
01:11:53we weren't there
01:11:53but he certainly
01:11:55did communicate
01:11:56with the deities
01:11:57through these rituals
01:11:58in addition to the stone
01:12:01of destiny
01:12:02another ritualistic symbol
01:12:04which features
01:12:05in most coronation
01:12:06ceremonies
01:12:06is that
01:12:07of the scepter
01:12:08the scepter
01:12:10is a symbol
01:12:11of divinely granted
01:12:12authority
01:12:12and in ancient times
01:12:14it often took the form
01:12:16of a staff
01:12:17or a golden wand
01:12:19according to historians
01:12:23its use dates back
01:12:25to ancient Egypt
01:12:26and there are those
01:12:27who believe
01:12:28it is connected
01:12:29symbolically
01:12:30to the Egyptian Ankh
01:12:31when it comes
01:12:33to the Ankh
01:12:34in ancient Egypt
01:12:35we find that it is
01:12:36intimately familiar
01:12:37with Isis
01:12:38Isis symbolizes
01:12:40the Ankh
01:12:41because she is the one
01:12:42who was able
01:12:42to restore life
01:12:44it is the symbol
01:12:45of transformation
01:12:46the symbol of alchemy
01:12:48the symbol of ritual
01:12:49you have to wonder here
01:12:51if the original Ankh
01:12:53wasn't some kind
01:12:54of high-tech device
01:12:56that the ancient
01:12:57astronauts used
01:12:58and that it was given
01:13:00to the kings
01:13:00for their use
01:13:02and with a coronation
01:13:03ritual
01:13:04and holding a scepter
01:13:05suddenly
01:13:06normal people
01:13:07become
01:13:08as gods
01:13:09and today
01:13:11all we have
01:13:11is a symbolic
01:13:12representation
01:13:13of this high-tech object
01:13:15if the throne
01:13:20and the scepter
01:13:21are identified
01:13:22are identified
01:13:22with a connection
01:13:23to otherworldly
01:13:25or extraterrestrial power
01:13:27what about
01:13:28the most iconic
01:13:29of all coronation symbols
01:13:31the crown
01:13:33itself
01:13:34what says kingship
01:13:37it's the crown
01:13:38it's clearly a device
01:13:40whether you see a crown
01:13:41as a symbol
01:13:42or whether you see a crown
01:13:43as something literal
01:13:44it's clear
01:13:45that somehow
01:13:46it was very specific
01:13:48something placed
01:13:49on your head
01:13:50established this connection
01:13:51some historians believe
01:13:54the idea for the crown
01:13:56may have originated
01:13:57with the divine image
01:13:59of the halo
01:13:59Sumerians
01:14:02describe their gods
01:14:03the Anunnaki
01:14:04as literally having
01:14:04a glow about them
01:14:05and this was carried
01:14:06into more recent times
01:14:08as angels
01:14:08with a halo
01:14:09over their head
01:14:10these are the beings
01:14:10that from heaven
01:14:11came to earth
01:14:12kingship
01:14:13now wants to have
01:14:15that same lineage
01:14:16of connection
01:14:17with the gods
01:14:18by placing a crown
01:14:19on the king's head
01:14:20that headpiece
01:14:22symbolized
01:14:23the translation
01:14:25of a human being
01:14:27heir apparent
01:14:28into a sovereign
01:14:30to deify that sovereign
01:14:32to make that sovereign
01:14:34extraterrestrial
01:14:35some of the earliest
01:14:39cave drawings
01:14:40we can find in the world
01:14:41show these humanoid beings
01:14:44with halos
01:14:45around their heads
01:14:46and that is very fascinating
01:14:49because if you look today
01:14:50at modern day astronauts
01:14:52if you have the sun rising
01:14:54behind them
01:14:55or even just
01:14:55with their flashlights
01:14:57that they have
01:14:57on the sides
01:14:58of their helmets
01:14:59well if someone
01:15:01who is not knowledgeable
01:15:03in technology
01:15:04sees this
01:15:05well it looks like
01:15:07their head is surrounded
01:15:09by this divine light
01:15:10which it's not divine at all
01:15:13it's a light source
01:15:15so over time
01:15:17people
01:15:18our ancestors
01:15:19started to
01:15:20imitate the gods
01:15:22these extraterrestrials
01:15:24by wearing crowns
01:15:26the throne
01:15:31the scepter
01:15:33the crown
01:15:35could these symbols
01:15:37of coronation
01:15:38have been inspired
01:15:39not by the imagination
01:15:41or even spiritual visions
01:15:43but by some sort
01:15:45of alien encounters
01:15:47if so
01:15:49what other ancient rituals
01:15:51might find their roots
01:15:53in a kingdom
01:15:54not of this world
01:15:56it's really clear
01:16:01that rituals
01:16:02are very important
01:16:03to the human experience
01:16:04and the ones
01:16:05we most commonly
01:16:06practice today
01:16:06are religious
01:16:07the catholic mass
01:16:09for instance
01:16:09right
01:16:10there are so many
01:16:11ancient rituals
01:16:12that we are doing today
01:16:14while we have no idea
01:16:15why we're doing them
01:16:17or how they came about
01:16:18but
01:16:19we are still
01:16:21doing them
01:16:22yeah
01:16:23and this may trace back
01:16:24to the extraterrestrial visitors
01:16:25to me it goes back
01:16:27to this notion
01:16:27that there's something
01:16:28embedded
01:16:29in our DNA
01:16:30that compels us
01:16:32to commemorate
01:16:33and honor
01:16:34the past
01:16:34Vatican City
01:16:38Italy
01:16:39Pope Benedict XVI
01:16:42walks down the aisle
01:16:44in St. Peter's Basilica
01:16:45carrying
01:16:46a golden crucifix
01:16:47upon reaching the altar
01:16:50he lifts the thuribol
01:16:52a metal vessel
01:16:54suspended from chains
01:16:55in which incense
01:16:56is burned
01:16:57for purification
01:16:58the Pope recites
01:17:03the Eucharist prayer
01:17:04and then he
01:17:05and his congregation
01:17:06consume the consecrated
01:17:08bread and wine
01:17:09they are
01:17:11according to the most
01:17:12sacred laws of the church
01:17:13eating the actual body
01:17:15and blood
01:17:16of Jesus Christ
01:17:18the mass
01:17:20the communion
01:17:20the transubstantiation
01:17:22of eating
01:17:23the body of God
01:17:25allows us to ingest
01:17:27the divine energy
01:17:28this is called
01:17:29mana
01:17:29or magical energy
01:17:30and the
01:17:31almost cannibalistic
01:17:33aspect of the
01:17:34ritual is crucial
01:17:34for atonement
01:17:36which is
01:17:36at one-ment
01:17:37to become one
01:17:38with the divine source
01:17:40but what does it mean
01:17:45to become one
01:17:46with the divinity?
01:17:48most historians
01:17:49say the ritual
01:17:50of the Catholic mass
01:17:51can be traced back
01:17:52to the last supper
01:17:53when the act of Jesus
01:17:55serving bread
01:17:56and wine
01:17:57to his disciples
01:17:57during what was
01:17:59actually a Passover Seder
01:18:00created a powerful
01:18:02spiritual bond
01:18:03that must not
01:18:04be broken
01:18:05but there are others
01:18:08who believe
01:18:09the Catholic mass
01:18:10stems from a ritual
01:18:11practiced thousands
01:18:13of years earlier
01:18:14scholars have speculated
01:18:16that the mass
01:18:17is actually inspired
01:18:18by Egyptian mythology
01:18:19and a similar ritual
01:18:21that was done
01:18:21for the goddess Cyrus
01:18:22the idea is
01:18:24we take the divine substance
01:18:25the body of the God
01:18:26into us
01:18:27so that we are one
01:18:28with that transcendent energy
01:18:30the legend of Osiris
01:18:32tells how he was killed
01:18:34and dismembered
01:18:35by his jealous brother
01:18:36then resurrected
01:18:38from the various parts
01:18:39of his body
01:18:40by his wife Isis
01:18:41Egyptian priests
01:18:44reenacted this ancient event
01:18:46with a ritual
01:18:47involving clay
01:18:48and wheat
01:18:48the ritual
01:18:50has to do
01:18:51with making
01:18:51wheat cakes
01:18:52that resemble
01:18:54the pieces
01:18:55of the dismembered God
01:18:56which are then hidden
01:18:58and a woman playing
01:18:59the wife
01:19:00goes and finds
01:19:02the pieces
01:19:02and then in the end
01:19:04the priests
01:19:04eat the pieces
01:19:05those who ate
01:19:07the sacramental wheat cakes
01:19:08believed
01:19:10they had brought
01:19:10the God Osiris
01:19:11back to life
01:19:12within themselves
01:19:13but where did
01:19:16early Egyptians
01:19:17get such a profound idea
01:19:19the question then is
01:19:21are they mimicking
01:19:23things which they saw
01:19:24and somehow
01:19:26it involved
01:19:28this transformation
01:19:29from a data
01:19:30ziris
01:19:30to a person
01:19:31who was regenerated
01:19:32when we're looking
01:19:36at some of these rituals
01:19:37really contact
01:19:38with the divine
01:19:39is a technology
01:19:40whether it's spiritual
01:19:41or whether it's practical
01:19:42or whether it's to mimic
01:19:44extraterrestrials
01:19:45could the Roman Catholic
01:19:48ceremony
01:19:49of eating the body
01:19:50and blood of Christ
01:19:51actually have its origins
01:19:53in the ancient Egyptian
01:19:55story of Osiris
01:19:57and if so
01:19:58does it suggest
01:20:00that the Catholic religion
01:20:01like other ancient beliefs
01:20:03has its roots
01:20:05in an extraterrestrial encounter
01:20:07a ritual is a
01:20:09participatory performance
01:20:10and the main objective
01:20:12of a ritual
01:20:12is to communicate
01:20:13something about
01:20:14an underlying belief
01:20:15or an idea
01:20:15these ancient rituals
01:20:18coincided with the appearance
01:20:20of various constellations
01:20:22in the sky
01:20:23various stars
01:20:23all across the world
01:20:25in ancient societies
01:20:26there was a belief
01:20:28that human beings
01:20:29were placed
01:20:30on planet earth
01:20:30by the star people
01:20:31mythology like legend
01:20:35has real history in it
01:20:37there's a strong
01:20:40sense of connection
01:20:41to those sources
01:20:42when one enters
01:20:43into ritual
01:20:44our deepest yearnings
01:20:45are for things
01:20:46we cannot remember
01:20:47we yearn for lost wisdom
01:20:49lost possibilities
01:20:50it seems we work
01:20:53toward goals
01:20:54we do not understand
01:20:56and it seems
01:20:58we are driven
01:20:59by aspirations
01:21:00that are truly mysterious
01:21:02the ones who come
01:21:05from another world
01:21:06our relatives
01:21:08are the ones
01:21:09that bring the laws
01:21:10and the instructions
01:21:11and the ceremonies
01:21:12and the rituals here
01:21:13so that people
01:21:14will go through
01:21:15this process
01:21:16of evolution
01:21:17are today's frequently
01:21:22practiced rituals
01:21:23such as prayers
01:21:24funerals
01:21:26and coronations
01:21:28really based on
01:21:30early man's attempts
01:21:32to emulate
01:21:32ancient alien visitors
01:21:34or are they something
01:21:37even more profound
01:21:38could they provide
01:21:41an actual means
01:21:42with which humans
01:21:43may communicate with
01:21:44or even return to
01:21:46another perhaps
01:21:48extraterrestrial existence
01:21:50if so
01:21:53we may only know
01:21:54the truth
01:21:55when we
01:21:56ourselves
01:21:57make the journey
01:21:58or perhaps
01:21:59when they
01:22:01return
01:22:01the word ritual
01:22:10means right
01:22:11or truth
01:22:12so when we're
01:22:13enacting a ritual
01:22:14it is a performance
01:22:15of the original truth
01:22:17and then it's up to us
01:22:18then to pull on
01:22:19the thread
01:22:20and ask the question
01:22:21where did it come from
01:22:22yeah
01:22:22and so by studying them
01:22:24and finding their origins
01:22:26we can you know
01:22:27understand what these
01:22:28rituals are really about
01:22:29right
01:22:30I think many of these
01:22:31rituals still in existence
01:22:32today
01:22:33are breadcrumbs
01:22:35that lead to a past
01:22:38of extraterrestrial contact
01:22:40where our ancestors
01:22:42didn't quite understand
01:22:43we're communicating
01:22:44with flesh and blood
01:22:46extraterrestrials
01:22:47with flesh and blood
01:22:49with flesh and blood
01:22:51and so on
01:22:51what does nature
01:22:51look at each other
01:22:53and so on
01:22:53hashtag
01:22:54um
01:22:54inclash
01:22:55sharks
01:22:56join
01:22:56experience
01:22:57in
01:22:57odc
01:22:59birds
01:23:01and
01:23:01uh
01:23:02acağ
01:23:03it is
01:23:04ongoing
01:23:04and
01:23:04there
01:23:05is
01:23:06you
