00:49Our first date, Mateo being Italian, he had to take us to an Italian restaurant.

01:11We have also bought and sold a few properties, and now we are looking for a vacation home.

01:17On my wish list, I would absolutely love a gourmet kitchen.

01:21That's all on my wish list as well, because I also like to cook.

01:24Best thing I make is pancakes.

01:26Crispy on the top and then fluffy in the center.

01:29She puts a ton of love in them.

01:30Best dishes that I make are pizza and pennella vodka.

01:33I ask him to make that for me almost every other day.

01:37I'm a car collector, so I would like to have a big garage, and I also like making a cocktail, so I would like the bar.

01:44I would love shallow entry to the water, so I can take a kayak out.

01:49This is something that we've been wanting to do for a long time.

01:52I'm looking forward to this house journey almost as much as I'm looking forward to Julia's pancakes.

02:46Before we go, I want to point out this detached garage.

02:49It's big enough to fit at least four cars.

02:51We're off to an incredible start, Woodrow.

02:57Wow, this is a large open kitchen.

03:00It was designed to look Mediterranean.

03:03You have rustic original beams painted with fresh white.

03:06It does remind me of being in Italy.

03:08You have this marble island, commercial-grade high-end appliances.

03:12You also have a wet bar.

03:14We can put an espresso bar there, too.

03:15I'm really enjoying this six-burner gas stove.

03:18I can picture six pots of pasta on top of there to feed my entire family.

03:22I like that deep sink.

03:23However, I would prefer it to be in the island so that I'm not looking out at the front of the house but having a view of the water.

03:30Obviously, there's an additional cost, but you can definitely move the sink.

03:33I'm glad you like the kitchen, minus some cosmetic changes, but I can't wait to show you the living area.

03:43In between, they have this plastered effect and a lot of natural light.

03:50I do like the effect in the ceiling, and I also like the skylights.

04:21It may seem small, but you do have a king-size bed, and we have a walk-in closet.

04:37Marble top, floating vanity, large shower with terrible tile, and you have this access to outdoor space.

04:45I really like the walk-out.

04:46I just wish that it was in the primary bedroom.

04:48Unfortunately, you can't move the deck.

04:50We haven't been outside yet, so let's check out the lakefront.

05:01Directly behind me, you see that spiral staircase, and that takes you to a sun deck.

05:05It gives you panoramic views of the property.

05:08We're sitting on 117 feet of water frontage.

05:11This place is so peaceful.

05:12I feel like I am more in a conservation area.

05:15This is a natural inlet, so you're not going to get that heavy wind from being in front of a lake.

05:19I guess I was envisioning just all lake and water.

05:22I understand what you guys are saying.

05:24I would love to take you back inside the house and do a recap.

05:29Mateo and Julia, we've seen this beautiful Mediterranean-inspired home.

05:40It's a bit higher than we thought, but considering the size of the property, we can understand that price.

05:47When I walked into this kitchen, I liked how the ceilings were very old school, and it reminded me of Italy.

05:52I wish there was a sink in the island that faced the views of the lake.

05:56Walking to the living room, that shaved, log look was really unique.

05:59But that fireplace reminded me a little bit of a crematorium.

06:04The ensuite was very luxurious.

06:07But I would have preferred to have the walkout in the primary bedroom.

06:09That outdoor environment felt very peaceful.

06:12But I guess our expectations were we would see more of the lake as opposed to an inlet.

06:19I think I'd like to see something a little smaller with a little bit of a smaller price point.

06:22And something with a better lake view.

06:25I think this house was wonderful.

06:27We just need to see something a little bit smaller.

06:29I agree, and I wasn't really wowed by that lake view.

08:10When I'm cooking a nice big breakfast, we can all sit around here and look at the big, beautiful views.

08:15Stainless steel, high-end appliances, contemporary cabinetry, induction range, and the pot filler.

08:22As an Italian myself, I do love cooking pasta, so I love the pot filler being right there.

08:28The only thing is, the other house had the gas stove, which I would rather over this one.

08:32I'm loving this kitchen, the granite countertop, all the counter space.

08:36I'm just finding that there might not be a lot of storage space.

08:39I got something else that's very special to show you.

08:43Oh, this is so cool.

08:45I love this bar.

08:46It's beautiful.

08:47You got the sink behind you with a fridge, and you got that live edge shelf, which mimics the mantel.

08:53I do love the glasses hanging.

08:56It gives you that bar feeling.

08:57Mattel, I'm actually glad that you like this area, because unfortunately, the house only has a two-car garage, and I know you're a car collector.

09:05So hopefully this kind of balances it out.

09:13This is the second floor loft.

09:18It's great for having a cup of coffee in the morning while you're looking at the lake, or a glass of wine at night before you go to bed.

09:25I really love these rails, and the fact that it does feel like you're on a cruise ship, looking right into the water there.

09:34I'm actually starting to think I like this space better than the downstairs.

10:25Because it is so expansive, I'm really feeling a lot of the wind gusts, which is a little bit concerning.

10:32Adding some barriers to the deck will protect you from the wind.

11:05The only thing I was disappointed with, I prefer a gas range.

11:08That bar was a wonderful surprise.

11:10It's an incredible place to entertain family and friends.

11:13When we walked into the primary bedroom, I thought it was a great size and another area with phenomenal views.

11:18The en suite was lacking.

11:20It felt very cramped.

11:22Also, seeing how windy that lake could actually get is a concern for us.

11:26As much as we love this home, we'd like to see something a bit bigger.

11:29And we're looking for something with calm water.

11:31That's not a problem.

11:32I can see what I can do.

12:59I love these tall ceilings.

13:03We've got the large fireplace with stacked stone going all the way up to the ceiling, 26 feet high.

13:09And these very large windows.

13:11I love looking outside and being able to see nature.

13:13It's beautiful.

13:14The only thing is it's hard to see the water.

13:16It's so obscured by the trees.

13:19I can totally see that, especially coming from the last house.

13:21But I know you guys love pancakes and your pizza, so I want to show you the kitchen next.

13:26Lots of counter space.

13:27I love how it's all white and black.

13:29Here you have your chef's kitchen with very high-end finishes.

13:33In the center of the island, you have this induction stovetop with a stainless steel vent.

13:38I can totally picture myself making all kinds of different pancakes, serving them to our guests and friends.

13:43There's a lot of storage throughout the island.

13:46High-end stainless steel double-door oven and beverage station with a sink and wine fridge.

13:52The last house had the beautiful bar area.

13:55This house has espresso bar area, but I think I can make this work.

13:58I would prefer the sink to be somewhere in the island, but I just don't know how that would happen.

14:03Unfortunately, sometimes you either have one or the other on the island.

14:05Overall, I'm glad that you seem to like the space.

14:08I would love to show you the primary bed next.

14:12Oh, this is a nice space.

14:14It's a good size.

14:14The furniture is very specific to the owner, but I want you to see past that.

14:18You have the large window, raised ceiling.

14:20I love the black frame windows.

14:23I would like to see a water view as opposed to just the trees.

14:26You're probably giving me a 7 out of 10 on the bedroom.

14:30I think the en suite will give you a 10 out of 10.

14:43double sink vanity with quartz countertop, and large steam shower.

14:48I can picture myself after a workout, going into that steam shower and relaxing.

14:53And the vanity mirror offers perfect lighting when I'm getting ready.

15:02We are on a two-acre lot, and there is a nice walkway that's going to lead us to the water.

15:52When we walked in this home, I was really impressed with the height of the ceilings in the great room.

16:04The primary bedroom was great.

16:05I just wish I could see the water through the windows.

16:07That ensuite was one of the nicest ensuites I've ever seen.

16:14I just feel that the river is too calm and I'd be tiptoeing around.

18:42I loved all the tall windows and all the great lake views.

18:48I really liked that kitchen, and I can picture myself cooking there.

18:51I just wish that that kitchen had a gas range.

18:54That bar area was a big surprise.

18:56I can really see myself entertaining my entire family and friends.

18:59When we went upstairs to that loft space, I could not get over the phenomenal lake views.

19:04I thought that the primary bedroom was a great size.

19:07The en-suite just seemed really too small.

19:09I just feel that because it was such a large lake, we'd always be dealing with heavy, gusty winds.

19:14And lastly, what are your thoughts on Woodland Escape?

19:18This contemporary 4,900-square-foot home features four bedrooms and five bathrooms.

19:25There are 26-foot ceilings in the great room with a floor-to-ceiling dry-stacked stone fireplace.

19:30The kitchen includes top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar.

19:35The primary suite offers tranquil, natural views and a beautifully updated en-suite with a soaker tub and a steam shower.

19:41The two-acre property boasts mature trees, all in 112 feet of water frontage.

19:47The Woodland Escape is priced at $3.7 million.

19:52I like the height in the great room.

19:55My only issue was that the views of the lake were hard to see through the trees.

19:59I felt that that kitchen was very bright and modern.

20:02However, I didn't like how the sink was not facing the views.

20:06I did feel that the primary bedroom was a nice size.

20:09That en-suite was the best one we've seen out of all the homes.

20:12And that steam shower, I really liked that.

20:15When we walked down to the river, I really liked the feeling that I got.

20:18It was quite peaceful.

20:20This is where we differ.

20:21I prefer the lake over the river.

20:23Julia, Mateo, what property are you going to eliminate?

20:26We've decided to eliminate Rustic Vibes.

20:30At the end of the day, it had the weakest waterfront.

20:32It was neither a lake or a river.

20:34So guys, have you chosen a property?

20:40She can have the river, and I'll always be able to get to the lake very easily.
