Florida Republican Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna accused former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of insider trading, alleging she profited massively from stock market investments. Speaking at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest on December 20, Luna claimed Pelosi’s returns—estimated at 17,000 percent—outperformed even Warren Buffett, calling it statistically implausible. In a viral clip, Luna labeled Pelosi the “real Wolf of Wall Street.” Pelosi has said she will retire in 2026 when term ends.

00:00But do you ever expect a sitting member in the House or the Senate to vote for peace
00:04when they are personally invested and backed and owned by the military-industrial complex?
00:09Do you ever think that's going to happen?
00:12The answer is no.
00:14Nancy Pelosi.
00:15Do you guys like her?
00:19It's funny, my husband says the same thing.
00:22Nancy Pelosi, by the time that she announced that she was no longer seeking office,
00:26had outperformed Warren Buffett.
00:28We've nicknamed her the real Wolf of Wall Street.
00:32And she's currently outperformed the S&P and made over 17,000% returns on her stock investment.
00:40That statistically does not happen unless you are engaged in insider trading.
00:45Both Democrat and Republican members of Congress that have promised to protect the American people
00:50and our country are making, on average, 600% on their returns.
00:54They sit on committees of jurisdiction that oversee the policy that impacts this country.
00:58Do you think they're ever going...
01:00Like, first of all, let's just talk about foreign policy, right?
01:02We see this debate.
01:03Are you pro-Russia?
01:05Are you pro-Ukraine?
01:06How about you be pro-American and maybe not advocate for foreign wars?
01:10How about that?
01:10Do you ever expect a sitting member in the House or the Senate to vote for peace when they are
01:19personally invested and backed and owned by the military-industrial complex?
01:24Do you ever think that's going to happen?
01:27The answer is no.
01:28And it doesn't happen.
01:29And I see it happen every single day.
01:30In fact, President Trump's peace plan that he just put forward, he's been trying so hard
01:35to index the war in Ukraine, where thousands upon thousands of young men have died on both
01:40sides because of what happened with Biden's failed foreign policy, of which, to be clear,
01:44they could have stopped the war.
01:45We've sent millions and millions of tax dollars over there.
01:48And you know what they're doing?
01:49They're laundering the money.
01:50That's exactly what happened.
01:51I'm proud to report I never voted for a single dollar to go to Ukraine, okay?
01:54And I still won't vote for that.
02:00But you have members of the House and the Senate that are vocally against what President
02:04Trump is doing, against what Steve Winkoff is doing, against what Jared Kushner is doing,
02:07because they are personally invested and benefiting from a continued conflict in Ukraine, of which
02:13we have no business being involved with, of which a peace deal with Russia could mean
02:17$2 trillion trade deal for the American people.
02:20And that is exactly what we need to be backing, but because they are corrupt.
02:23And because we haven't fixed it from within our own institution, this war continues, and
02:27it has to end.
02:33What about codifying President Trump's executive orders to cap prescription pricing?
02:38People are talking about affordability.
02:39President Trump's doing all the heavy tackling and blocking, and yet Congress is so slow to
02:44follow through.
02:45Why is that?
02:46Well, maybe it's because a majority of members of Congress have over $100 million personally
02:51invested in their individual stock portfolios within the pharmaceutical companies.
02:55Do you ever think they would vote to cap the prescription pricing that would benefit the
02:59American people?
03:00And the answer is no.
03:02And so that is why, after seeing all of this nonsense play out for years, I finally saw,
03:07I think it was on that website, Inusual Wales, and I saw my own colleague, a Republican
03:11colleague, making a multi-trillion dollar trade.
03:14It was in violation, insider trading, to be exact.
03:18And I looked at Tim Burchett, who's a representative from Tennessee.
03:21He's actually a really good guy.
03:23Yeah, we love Tim Burchett.
03:25And I'm literally sitting on the steps of the Capitol.
03:28I said, we have to stop this.
03:29This cannot continue.
03:30And so we did a discharge petition.
03:32And I have reached across the aisle, and I have gotten people that you wouldn't believe
03:36to sign on to this discharge petition because they understand the problems of this.
03:39That's why I'm proud to report that I met with Speaker Johnson at one o'clock on Thursday.
03:45And the Speaker of the House understands and agrees that this is a problem.
03:49And we discussed the piece of legislation that we'll be bringing to the floor in the
03:53first quarter of this next year.
03:55And after it came out because Democrats reported that Hakeem Jeffery, the leader of the Democrat
04:00Party, is actively working to block the ban on insider trading, that we will be securing
04:05the deal and the House Republican majority to ban insider trading for members of Congress
04:10from ever happening again in the United States of America.
