00:01:37Check this out, I know y'all have heard all of the rumors that I'm looking for a new assistant. The rumors are true.
00:01:43I started working for Puff in April of 2004. I was his assistant. My first day started off cool and it got interesting over the course of the day.
00:01:57We drove around the city and he was giving me like the run of the show like, you'll take notes, you'll go with me in meetings, you'll make sure my food is ready in the morning.
00:02:08No, no, no.
00:02:09Did he, can we ask you a question?
00:02:10No, no, no.
00:02:11Later that night, he took me to Central Park with his head of security. And he said, Cap, I want to talk to you about a couple of things.
00:02:22At some point, Puff found out that I knew Suge.
00:02:27My relationship was with his baby's mother, who is still to this day my best friend. He says, hey, I didn't know you had anything to do with Suge. Like, if something happens, I'm going to have to kill you.
00:02:41He wanted to let me know how it would happen. You will be in a dark park and there will be no one around if this shit goes left. And I'm telling you, I'm telling you, like, we're just going to do it like this so you really understand.
00:03:02I never told anyone. I never called the police. Anybody else would have said, Cap, Daddy told me he's going to kill me in the park.
00:03:13I think his trust came from that.
00:03:19I had a lot of history with dealing with addicts and intense personalities. My mother was addicted to cocaine.
00:03:28If you're dealing with someone who's on coke five days a week as a child, by the time you're 23 and she's dead, it desensitized me to a lot of things.
00:03:42Puff was a disorganized chaos that I understood.
00:03:47I have a reputation that, you know, I may be hard to work with or hard to work for. And that's the truth.
00:03:53He made me write a book. It's leather bound. How to assist Sean Combs.
00:04:00Good morning, everyone.
00:04:02Capricorn. Out of anybody knows what it takes to be successful around me.
00:04:072008, I got promoted to be global brand director.
00:04:10This basically means de facto manager.
00:04:14I worked for him till 2012.
00:04:16And so I know him more than most people.
00:04:22He's very good at mental games.
00:04:24I'm the king.
00:04:26He's very good at getting up under your skin.
00:04:30He's very good at attacking your fears.
00:04:33I'm not everybody else.
00:04:34And he's very good at retaliation.
00:04:38Whether you call him Sean Denny, Puff Daddy, or Mr. Combs, he's always been in a class of his own.
00:04:54So tonight, he is the esteemed recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award.
00:05:02Get up!
00:05:03Everybody stand up for Puff!
00:05:06Yes!
00:05:06This guy is a real professional at masking and lying and making himself look like the greatest of them all.
00:05:16This is my favorite artist.
00:05:19How do we crown our kings?
00:05:22Some people are looking at him like they're demolishing our kings.
00:05:26They're taking...
00:05:26Man, what Puffy do for you?
00:05:30He ain't did nothing.
00:05:32It's an honor to present this BET Lifetime Achievement Award.
00:05:36To Sean Puffy Combs.
00:05:40Puffy ain't no king for us.
00:05:42He's a monster.
00:05:43Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:05:46It didn't really register until maybe a year after working with him.
00:05:55It's like, yo, all this was a plan.
00:05:58I got a call.
00:06:09Puff was doing a writer's camp for his new album, the Love album off the grid.
00:06:14For the first two weeks, there was hundreds of people.
00:06:21What identified me and made me different was I play multiple instruments.
00:06:28Out of all those people, he asked me to make the album.
00:06:34One day, we got our headphones on and we were working.
00:06:42I see this guy named G.
00:06:45I don't know his full name.
00:06:47I see him, Justin, and Puff going to the bathroom together.
00:06:53Moments later, I hear boom, boom, two shots.
00:06:58I'm like, yo.
00:06:59So I'm going through sounds.
00:07:01I'm like, this can't be, you know, it's like, okay, maybe I hit one of those gunshots on the keypad.
00:07:08I see Justin and Puff walk out.
00:07:16I opened the door and he was in there just bleeding.
00:07:19He was bleeding out.
00:07:20You know, growing up in the hood, you know, people get shot all the time.
00:07:29So immediately, I'm like, yo, I need towels, towels, bring me towels, towels.
00:07:33And I just start patching them up and applying pressure.
00:07:39Amelians come, they pull three blocks down.
00:07:42I'm trying to wave them.
00:07:43Like, I go running down.
00:07:44Like, what y'all doing?
00:07:45He's like, yo, we got to wait for the police kids here.
00:07:47I'm like, yo, he's getting ready to die.
00:07:51I got to get this guy outside so when the Amelians come, he can be getting in so that, you know, time is of the essence right now.
00:08:00The police did arrive.
00:08:02Puff said, yo, tell them that the shooting did not happen here.
00:08:08And the way they were saying it, they weren't asking.
00:08:11You know what I'm saying?
00:08:12I do remember Puff's security, Fahim, just there on the scene, just actively moving in and out as the LAPD was there.
00:08:24And he's like telling us all stay inside.
00:08:28And somehow he was able to make this all go away.
00:08:36That shook me.
00:08:37I'm still shook.
00:08:38The only time I've heard about some type of shooting in the studio where we all creating was Tupac.
00:08:46Tupac Shakur was shot five times last night in a robbery.
00:08:49After the shooting, Puff and Justin, they walked out with confidence.
00:08:54The next day, the reporter showed up.
00:09:03He told him something totally different.
00:09:04And they reported that and left.
00:09:11That video was after I had helped him get to the ambulance.
00:09:16No one knows who he is, where he's at.
00:09:19He just disappeared.
00:09:23And at the studio, everybody acting like it never happened.
00:09:27Unfortunately, if you want to make it to something in this industry, you have to work for certain people, like Puffy.
00:09:39He's one of the gatekeepers.
00:09:47I knew if I finish this job, it would be a good accomplishment for my career.
00:09:54This would pay my kids bills and my bills and my grandkids.
00:09:59So, I just want to get right back to work.
00:10:07We're working on this Justin Bieber song, Moments.
00:10:10I can see it in your eyes, in your eyes.
00:10:12No, no, no, no, no.
00:10:13Puff wanted moments to feel like Michael Jackson can't help it.
00:10:18He had a bunch of people taking stabs at it, trying to crack the code, and couldn't.
00:10:23I've been patient, patiently waiting.
00:10:28I've been faking for a long time.
00:10:32I got into it and I made five versions of it.
00:10:37And I played that song.
00:10:39He danced for probably four hours straight just to that song.
00:10:54He's like, yo, we had cracked the code.
00:10:55He did it.
00:10:57He said, yo, put me in the A room in the studio tomorrow with him.
00:11:01And it was at that moment, he flew me to Miami to work at his house.
00:11:14There's a little ride over here.
00:11:15We're in Cones Entertainment, Bad Boys, Love Records.
00:11:18I just thought about it.
00:11:19We're making history, baby.
00:11:20Never lied to you.
00:11:23Life ain't perfect.
00:11:23We just live it.
00:11:24Fuck what they say we did.
00:11:26We just did it.
00:11:28God.
00:11:30Miami was when the relationship really began, the working relationship.
00:11:35But now, now, now, niggas, that's scarlin' hot.
00:11:39While we're working on his album, he's recording everything all day, all the time.
00:11:45Oh, that's crazy.
00:11:49Yeah, come on.
00:11:50We're gonna do three songs tonight.
00:11:52I'm on a yacht with him, and there's a song where he's talking to Cassie.
00:11:56He's telling her, please come on home.
00:11:58Never lied to you.
00:12:00Life ain't perfect.
00:12:01We just live it.
00:12:02You're gonna take it.
00:12:03Take it out.
00:12:03Take it, take it, take it.
00:12:04Come on.
00:12:05But I just remember it because eight bars took us probably seven months to record.
00:12:13Cry for you.
00:12:14No, no, no, no, no, no.
00:12:15Come on, come on, come on.
00:12:16Oh, yeah, let's go.
00:12:17Come on, champ.
00:12:18I got it for you.
00:12:19Come on, I got it.
00:12:20Yeah, yeah, don't do that.
00:12:21Okay.
00:12:22Ever.
00:12:22Okay.
00:12:24To the earth for your touch.
00:12:25Ride for you, cry for you, die for you.
00:12:28I'm letting all y'all niggas know if I ain't hot, y'all niggas ain't hot.
00:12:31So I'm telling y'all, y'all better get to producing some motherfucking sex in the Porsche.
00:12:36I don't know.
00:12:36You're acting like, y'all, I could be motherfucking lukewarm, and y'all gonna be hot.
00:12:43You don't wanna be lukewarm.
00:12:44You know, it's been taking me fucking ever to get back to my exact tone, because I got
00:12:55so big, I could hear myself rapping.
00:12:59You know what I'm saying?
00:13:00But I'm figuring it out just now.
00:13:03I don't wanna be, like, figuring it out just now, and y'all witnessing Jesus walking on
00:13:07water.
00:13:08You know what I'm saying?
00:13:09Or Jesus having a breakthrough.
00:13:12You know what I'm saying?
00:13:12Because I can only compare myself to the Son of God.
00:13:15You feel me?
00:13:17I didn't realize it, but he was definitely grooming.
00:13:21Work hard to get those gifts.
00:13:23Those sneakers, those shoes.
00:13:25You know, he promised me $250,000.
00:13:29He also promised me a house right next door.
00:13:34We had a conversation about making me the producer of the year.
00:13:38You know what I'm saying?
00:13:41Love, love, love, love.
00:13:43I love you, Lil' Leroy.
00:13:45No, I'm Nick.
00:13:46We bringing back that signature sonic sound.
00:13:51We gotta figure out how to touch on some deeper level than the surface shit we've been rapping
00:13:56about.
00:13:57You know what I'm saying?
00:13:58That's when it began to get a little weird for me.
00:14:02Puff would show a video with someone penetrating a Caucasian man from the rear end.
00:14:10I didn't really understand that.
00:14:12You know what I'm saying?
00:14:12When he telling me, like, yo, this is the way to success and then the music.
00:14:16And I'm, like, confused.
00:14:18Like, you know what I'm saying?
00:14:20Like, what's going on?
00:14:23Is this, like, a joke?
00:14:25Let's keep the frequency high, man.
00:14:27Keep it high.
00:14:28It's too much shit trying to bring us down.
00:14:30I was told to go to Booby Trap on the River, a strip club in Miami.
00:14:37They put me on the recruiting sex workers.
00:14:40They gave me the bad boy hat.
00:14:43They would tell me, yo, put this hat on, get some girls, and come back to the house.
00:14:47Like, I'm, like, how do they know?
00:14:49They're, like, yo, they know once you put their hat on, they know, you know what I'm saying?
00:14:53The whole deal.
00:14:54This is like a routine.
00:14:56I'm just, like, yo, this has nothing to do with music.
00:15:00It's weird.
00:15:01But he felt like this is the only way he's going to be able to make this album.
00:15:09They'll be doing these freak-offs, and it'll be Puff and Justin in the room with multiple women.
00:15:17Closed doors and lots of music and lots of drugs.
00:15:21We just celebrating life, you know what I'm saying?
00:15:23And it's fucking Friday.
00:15:24And it's fucking Friday.
00:15:25I had Prime Puff.
00:15:27The man is, like, sure of himself.
00:15:30Now you're 50-plus, Puff.
00:15:33How do you even take ketamine?
00:15:36How is this fun for you at 50-something years old?
00:15:39Like, are you doing it to keep up with the kids?
00:15:42It goes back to fatherhood.
00:15:45You didn't groom them to take over this company.
00:15:48You groomed them to do the same things that you're doing.
00:15:51And the sad part about it is you will never know if they agree or disagree with their father because they can't say it.
00:16:00Yo, Raw, party next door.
00:16:03It would be the Tusi, the Cocaine, or even Molly.
00:16:07We were all on these products, whether we knew it or not.
00:16:12You would always hear people say, like, yo, Puff got God eyes or God spirit or he always knows.
00:16:23Like, people, he build his perception.
00:16:25I open the door and see, like, four or five different screens with a bunch of little pockets in there, like, yo.
00:16:33And that's when I realized that, yo, this whole property has hidden cameras everywhere.
00:16:40He who had no sin became sin.
00:16:46There were days we would party.
00:16:48I would wake up not knowing what the hell happened.
00:16:51Some days those girls next to me woke up.
00:16:55Some days he was in the bed.
00:16:58I'm going on a love rampage.
00:17:00I ain't hiding nothing.
00:17:01I ain't scared of nothing.
00:17:02That's the season that I'm in.
00:17:03I would wake up feeling sore, still not understanding exactly what's, you know what I'm saying, transpiring.
00:17:11But this is me starting to understand that I was drugged pretty often.
00:17:19I tried to confine in KK, Christina, that's Puff's chief of staff.
00:17:28And I thought it would be more, you know, understood if I took it to someone who's a woman.
00:17:35But she was always, like, trying to, like, downplay it.
00:17:39I think KK was the worst gatekeeper he ever had.
00:17:45Puff is the kind of person, um, you know, the story of the two wolves.
00:17:50Which wolf wins?
00:17:51The wolf you feed.
00:17:53All of us, we're cognizant of the bad wolf, but we're feeding the good wolf.
00:17:58And the good wolf in this case scenario, it's a history breaker.
00:18:01It's a record, you know, somebody that's going to drive our culture forward.
00:18:04KK, help me out because you're in this too, KK.
00:18:07Someone who's, like, good with the PR side of it, too, to, like, get out there and spin it.
00:18:11So, like...
00:18:12I believe that they said the bad wolf.
00:18:15Give me some real love.
00:18:16Turn that TV off.
00:18:18Just the energy just ain't right.
00:18:19There's a lot of things that happen to me I just don't even want to speak on.
00:18:24You know what I'm saying?
00:18:29Day 145.
00:18:31148.
00:18:33At that rate, I had to ask myself, man,
00:18:35how long you were willing to deal with him.
00:18:39My nigga Lil' Leon.
00:18:41His name is Lil' Rob, but I'm calling him Lil' Leon.
00:18:45You know what I'm saying?
00:18:46He's one of the first draft picks of the new hitmen.
00:18:49You know what I'm saying?
00:18:50Incredible talent.
00:18:52Look at that nigga.
00:18:53Lil' Leroy's hat.
00:18:55You have to be strong and able to tough this out.
00:18:59We are, we are, them niggas.
00:19:02I can still make sure everything that I did on this album still makes it.
00:19:08And I'm just trying to fake the funk.
00:19:10And they can.
00:19:11And they can.
00:19:12Fuck with us.
00:19:13Fuck with us.
00:19:14But then...
00:19:18Right after I finished the album,
00:19:26they kept putting my business on the back burner for months.
00:19:30And it was like, where's my payment?
00:19:32Yeah, I'm on it, bro,
00:19:34but I'm not going to be able to get nothing done today.
00:19:38One thing you know about me is I'm going to always keep it 100.
00:19:43Diddy is back.
00:19:44The love album.
00:19:45The love album.
00:19:46Off the grid.
00:19:47The R.B. album you can fuck to.
00:19:49This is the first time we were hearing music from you in, what, 13 years?
00:19:54This is my love story.
00:19:56Just me and you.
00:19:57We just locked in in 48 hours of love.
00:19:59They dropped the album.
00:20:03And I was like, where's my money?
00:20:06Yo, bro, it's going to take that time that I said.
00:20:08A lot of shit got backed up and everything due to the circumstances.
00:20:11Nobody's saying you're not getting paid.
00:20:14He didn't want to pay the people closest to him
00:20:16because if you have money,
00:20:18you have a little bit more bravado about how you move.
00:20:22He didn't want you to ever to feel too comfortable.
00:20:24He wanted you to feel like there's a carrot being dangled.
00:20:27He did that with me.
00:20:31He enjoys to see people not having.
00:20:34He enjoys to see him having and everybody else wanting and needing.
00:20:38And I don't want to know, you know what I'm saying,
00:20:40problem with you, uh,
00:20:41you feeling like I'm not taking it seriously.
00:20:43I'm just telling you,
00:20:44I'm telling you at the time it takes.
00:20:46Just got nominated for a Grammy.
00:20:49Let me make it clear.
00:20:50I didn't just get nominated for a Grammy.
00:20:54We just got nominated for a Grammy.
00:20:56No, bro, I'm not letting you get out of this.
00:20:58Like, you're going to have to answer to this.
00:21:00You know what I'm saying?
00:21:01Yo, my brother, are you all right?
00:21:04I'm starting to get concerned about this.
00:21:07He was calling me, like, left and right.
00:21:10You're trying to handle something, bro.
00:21:12You actually sent me something that I could take a certain way.
00:21:16Like, you're trying to make a problem with somebody
00:21:18that don't want a problem.
00:21:20In fact, I've never seen my phone ring that many times.
00:21:23I don't know who's in your head
00:21:25or what's going on in your head.
00:21:27I hope your ass ain't bipolar, little Leroy.
00:21:29I don't really like the way that this shit feels,
00:21:32you know what I'm saying?
00:21:32But I ain't taking shit personally,
00:21:34you know what I'm saying?
00:21:35I don't need no extra stress.
00:21:37I'm prepared to pay any bills I owe anybody.
00:21:40In the time that I was with him,
00:21:42two Thanksgivings, two Christmases,
00:21:44my kid's birthday,
00:21:46all they offered me,
00:21:49offered,
00:21:50for producing this album
00:21:52was $29,000.
00:21:56$29,000.
00:21:57Which I still ain't even got that to this day.
00:22:02Yeah, Lil' Rod,
00:22:03you know, I never see or admit nothing but love for you
00:22:07and I just would never
00:22:08be on the side of some bullshit with you,
00:22:11you know what I'm saying?
00:22:12I just would never,
00:22:13I don't even see you that way.
00:22:14When I think about you,
00:22:15I think about you and your hats
00:22:17and how talented you are
00:22:18and making me smile
00:22:19and you fucking smile
00:22:21and everything in your limp leg.
00:22:23Nigga, don't fuck with the way I think about you
00:22:25over no shit,
00:22:27over no, like, the love album.
00:22:28Come on, B.
00:22:29The album had probably been out a little over a month.
00:22:39All of a sudden, CNN comes on.
00:22:42In our pop culture lead,
00:22:43just in,
00:22:44producer and musician,
00:22:45Sean Cohn,
00:22:46accused of doing such and such with Cassie.
00:22:48She was abused.
00:22:50She was a part of the cycle of violence,
00:22:53physical.
00:22:54That was the turning point for me.
00:22:56One lawsuit updated just yesterday
00:22:58by a New York artist named Rodney Jones.
00:23:01Rodney, Lil' Rod Jones.
00:23:02Who worked with Combs on his latest love album.
00:23:05Jones claims that for more than a year,
00:23:07Combs sexually harassed,
00:23:09drugged,
00:23:09and threatened him
00:23:10while working on the project.
00:23:11I understand that
00:23:18I may get blackballed
00:23:20or I may get people
00:23:22attempting to take my life.
00:23:25Yeah, I was trying to help out, bro.
00:23:26You got to do whatever you feel you got to do.
00:23:29I don't know what your lawyers,
00:23:30what anybody trying to do.
00:23:32Whatever they trying to do,
00:23:33I guess they could get out of my lawyers.
00:23:35You know what I'm saying?
00:23:36Everybody coming at a nigga now,
00:23:37so it ain't nothing different.
00:23:38I had to tell myself, man,
00:23:42it was time for me
00:23:43to now stand up for justice.
00:23:46Standing up for justice for myself
00:23:47actually stands up for justice for everybody.
00:23:51They actually go to the prosecutor's office.
00:23:52This guy committed another crime.
00:23:54And I would do the same thing with Lil' Ron.
00:23:56Go to the prosecutor's office.
00:23:57Really put a package together.
00:23:59Here's what he said.
00:24:00You shouldn't report it.
00:24:08As all of the civil lawsuits
00:24:13started to come down,
00:24:15I had a lawyer reach out to me
00:24:18in regards to
00:24:20an affidavit that they had received
00:24:24from a person
00:24:26that was allegedly a victim
00:24:28and that wanted me
00:24:30to be aware of something
00:24:31that she had seen.
00:24:33I was told it was an assault.
00:24:35The affidavit says,
00:24:41On a very cold night
00:24:43at the end of 2005,
00:24:45I am not sure of the exact date
00:24:47because it was over 20 years.
00:24:49I walked in on Sean Combs'
00:24:51puff daddy P. Diddy
00:24:53and another individual,
00:24:55a tall, heavy-set, light-skinned male.
00:24:58I believe he may have been a bodyguard,
00:25:00sexually assaulting Aubrey O'Day.
00:25:02Around this time,
00:25:06I had just finalized
00:25:07my divorce paperwork
00:25:08and a close friend
00:25:11decided to drive
00:25:12from Allentown, Pennsylvania
00:25:13to New York City
00:25:15to celebrate
00:25:15and had met up
00:25:17with my ex-boyfriend
00:25:18and Bad Boy executive,
00:25:20Conrad.
00:25:21Everybody wants to get a piece
00:25:22of this man right now.
00:25:24Conrad was one of my bosses
00:25:25at Bad Boy.
00:25:26He was on Making the Band.
00:25:28You gotta understand
00:25:29where our interest lies.
00:25:31The goal is to have
00:25:31an incredible album.
00:25:33We met Conrad
00:25:34at Bad Boy Studios
00:25:35in Manhattan,
00:25:37otherwise known
00:25:38as Daddy's House.
00:25:43While waiting for Conrad
00:25:45to arrive,
00:25:46I went upstairs
00:25:47to use the bathroom.
00:25:49I had forgotten
00:25:50which door the restroom was in,
00:25:52so I went down the hallway
00:25:53and I kept opening doors.
00:25:54I opened a door that was not
00:25:58the restroom
00:25:59because of what I witnessed
00:26:00happening in there.
00:26:03What I saw
00:26:05as soon as I opened the door
00:26:07was Aubrey sprawled out
00:26:08on a leather couch
00:26:10looking very inebriated.
00:26:13And I didn't drink
00:26:15like that at all.
00:26:17But this time,
00:26:18I don't drink at all.
00:26:19It's never been an issue
00:26:20with me.
00:26:22She was naked
00:26:23from the bottom half
00:26:24and she had something
00:26:27over her top.
00:26:30Puff Daddy was penetrating
00:26:32in her vagina
00:26:33and there was another
00:26:35stocky, light-skinned man
00:26:36with his penis in her mouth.
00:26:38I haven't read the...
00:26:43I only heard it
00:26:45when it was read
00:26:45over the phone.
00:26:46I have not read it myself.
00:26:47I don't...
00:26:49I just...
00:26:50I don't...
00:26:51I've put this
00:26:52out of my memory.
00:26:57Stocky, light-skinned man
00:26:58with his penis in her mouth.
00:27:01Aubrey looked out of it
00:27:02and was just lying there.
00:27:08I am 100% certain
00:27:11that the woman I saw
00:27:13was Aubrey O'Day.
00:27:15100% certain
00:27:17this person is.
00:27:20Well, Danny Lee Cain
00:27:21is more of a pop-rock
00:27:22feeling joint
00:27:23with soulful vocals.
00:27:25I told Conrad that night
00:27:27what I had seen
00:27:27and his response was
00:27:28for me to mind my business
00:27:30because I don't know
00:27:32the dynamic of the situation.
00:27:35Well, fuck,
00:27:36I don't know the dynamic
00:27:37of that situation either.
00:27:39Not to my memory.
00:27:43I did what I was told.
00:27:45Minded my business
00:27:47and went about
00:27:48enjoying my night
00:27:49with my friends.
00:27:54Even after I told her
00:27:55I didn't have
00:27:56a recollection of this,
00:27:57I said,
00:27:58could she be making a mistake?
00:28:00I asked in every way
00:28:01I possibly could think of.
00:28:03She was certain.
00:28:05She said,
00:28:06you can come public with this.
00:28:09I'm going to stand by you.
00:28:10I know what I saw.
00:28:13Does this mean
00:28:14I was raped?
00:28:17Is that what this means?
00:28:22I don't even know
00:28:24if I was raped
00:28:24and I don't want to know.
00:28:27My name is Aubrey.
00:28:28I'm from Irvine
00:28:29and I'm 20 years old.
00:28:32I don't want to find out
00:28:33any more
00:28:34that that woman has to say.
00:28:37If she made it up,
00:28:38I would be compelled
00:28:39to take her the fuck down.
00:28:40and you realize
00:28:44the burden
00:28:45that that puts on my soul
00:28:46for the past year,
00:28:47which is
00:28:48if I expose
00:28:50one person
00:28:51who's got a civil lawsuit,
00:28:53that gives Diddy
00:28:55and his legal team
00:28:56credit
00:28:57to take down
00:28:58everybody else
00:28:59as potential liars.
00:29:02Says Aubrey O'Day.
00:29:04Goes right back on my shoulders
00:29:06just like that.
00:29:07The weight of that man
00:29:09and his bullshit,
00:29:10I will never
00:29:11get up
00:29:12from under it.
00:29:17The legal troubles
00:29:18for long-time
00:29:19entertainment mogul
00:29:20Sean Diddy Combs
00:29:21have been building
00:29:22for months.
00:29:23Diddy is facing
00:29:24another lawsuit.
00:29:25Don Richard
00:29:26from Dirty Money.
00:29:27Doing Sean Diddy Combs
00:29:28for alleged assault.
00:29:29Combs' lawyer said
00:29:30these complaints
00:29:31are full of lies.
00:29:33We will prove them false
00:29:34and seek sanctions
00:29:35against every unethical lawyer.
00:29:37Media is the most
00:29:40powerful industry
00:29:41in the world.
00:29:43In this day and age,
00:29:44I do have to address
00:29:45all types of things
00:29:47that need to be cleared up.
00:29:51Game time.
00:29:56Hey, yo,
00:29:57you think we can hire
00:29:57an editor
00:29:58to go and find
00:29:59all the
00:30:00throwing clips?
00:30:02You're an editor, right?
00:30:03If you don't control
00:30:04your narrative,
00:30:05somebody else
00:30:06will control it.
00:30:06It's a media war.
00:30:08Let me ask you
00:30:09positive comments.
00:30:11Say,

00:30:15positively
00:30:15about
00:30:17her
00:30:17relationships
00:30:18with Dirty?
00:30:21She did a lot
00:30:22of interviews.
00:30:23On the interviews,
00:30:24they want to talk
00:30:25about me.
00:30:26You know what I'm saying?
00:30:27In the interviews,
00:30:28so we know, like,
00:30:29if you can track down
00:30:30the interviews,
00:30:31it'll know she'll get you.
00:30:32What's up, baby?
00:30:32What's up, boy?

00:30:46to be played in real-time.
00:30:48It's going to be played
00:30:48in front of the public.
00:30:51Billions of people
00:30:52in real-time.
00:30:54Talking to fans,
00:30:56taking selfies with them.
00:30:57Over the weekend,
00:30:58was in Central Park.
00:30:59So he seemed like
00:31:01he didn't have a care
00:31:02in the world.
00:31:04Diddy was staying
00:31:05in Midtown Manhattan.

00:33:23person we know of
00:33:24that he contacted.
00:33:25That was after
00:33:26September 10th,
00:33:26after Dawn Richards
00:33:27filed.
00:33:28This was a
00:33:28deep breakdown.

00:34:12I'm in an investigation.
00:34:13She's putting this shit

00:34:17Bugging.
00:34:18I never had a problem
00:34:18with this girl.
00:34:19I read the 55 page
00:34:31lawsuit that Dawn
00:34:32had just filed
00:34:34and I just,
00:34:37my heart literally
00:34:39dropped on the floor.
00:34:42Dawn Richard is suing
00:34:43Sean Diddy Combs
00:34:44for alleged to solve
00:34:46sexual batter,
00:34:47forced labor
00:34:47and gender motivated violence.
00:34:50She and her bandmate
00:34:50Kalina Harper
00:34:51waited in the kitchen
00:34:52where many of them
00:34:53appeared to be lethargic
00:34:54or passed out
00:34:55while Diddy
00:34:56and his guests
00:34:56performed sexual acts
00:34:58on them.
00:35:00I'm asking for the
00:35:02brother's favor of life.
00:35:04You know what I'm saying?
00:35:06Yeah, but like

00:35:14Granted,
00:35:14I'm dealing
00:35:15with my own situation.
00:35:16I am caught up
00:35:18in a contentious
00:35:20child custody battle
00:35:21and now this.
00:35:28The only person
00:35:29I could call
00:35:29in the beginning
00:35:30was Puff.
00:35:32Just trying to get help.
00:35:33Like,
00:35:33I need you to help me
00:35:34get more powerful lawyers.
00:35:38I was like,
00:35:38I need 5K.

00:35:42And at the time,
00:35:43he was like,

00:35:44because I'm doing
00:35:44something else
00:35:45or whatever.
00:35:49So prior to those phone calls,
00:35:51you asked him to help you?
00:35:52Yeah.
00:35:53And he said no?
00:35:54He said he couldn't help me.
00:35:56But then he called you
00:35:57to ask you
00:35:57to make a statement?
00:35:58Yep.
00:36:00And I was like,
00:36:01I said,

00:36:03because I needed you,
00:36:04my nigga.
00:36:08Kalina,
00:36:09she's a
00:36:09a great key.
00:36:11Especially if she's
00:36:12with her every time.
00:36:15You know what I'm saying?
00:36:16Like,
00:36:18just give the blackness
00:36:19but I didn't just
00:36:20tell everybody that like,
00:36:22hey,
00:36:22just watch that happen
00:36:24if she was there.
00:36:26It's not right.
00:36:28You gotta figure out
00:36:29what you gotta do.
00:36:30God told me
00:36:31to do nothing.
00:36:36So for me,
00:36:37it was like,
00:36:38this is a prime opportunity
00:36:39to tell him
00:36:40I know you got that
00:36:42going on
00:36:42but I got this going on.
00:36:43I want my kids.
00:36:46I don't know why
00:36:47Dawn is doing this
00:36:48but I have to talk
00:36:50to my husband
00:36:51because anything I say
00:36:52can fuck around
00:36:56and not,
00:36:58you know,
00:36:58I could not get
00:36:59my kids back.
00:37:02So I was like,
00:37:03look,
00:37:03you know,
00:37:04y'all can't call me
00:37:05because you're scared
00:37:06to go to jail now
00:37:07and rush me
00:37:08to say anything.
00:37:09I need time
00:37:10to think about it.
00:37:11Like,
00:37:11what am I going to say?
00:37:13I didn't see that.
00:37:14I didn't.
00:37:15But I don't want people
00:37:16to think like
00:37:17I'm trying to wear
00:37:18a bulletproof vest
00:37:19for Puff
00:37:20because I'm not.
00:37:21It's just like
00:37:22I'm not a bad person
00:37:23and I wasn't around
00:37:25that shit.
00:37:26Like,
00:37:26I don't fucking know
00:37:26what they was doing.
00:37:27I don't know.
00:37:32He had been reaching out
00:37:34to witnesses
00:37:34who had been subpoenaed.
00:37:35They're able to track it
00:37:36according to the prosecutors,
00:37:38allegedly,
00:37:39on a timeline
00:37:39where there were some people
00:37:40that were subpoenaed
00:37:41that Diddy hadn't spoken to
00:37:42in years
00:37:43but after they were subpoenaed
00:37:44he directly reached out
00:37:46to them.
00:37:47He was actually telling people
00:37:48like,
00:37:49I'm not supposed
00:37:49to be talking to you.
00:37:50Don't text me.
00:37:51So he knew
00:37:51what he was doing
00:37:52was not right.
00:37:54I got some recordings
00:37:55that I could let you
00:37:56hear as well.
00:37:58Baby girl,
00:37:59for real,
00:37:59for real,
00:38:00no pressure.
00:38:01You know,
00:38:01I just felt like
00:38:02me and you
00:38:02was close enough
00:38:03like that.
00:38:03I ain't asked,
00:38:04I ain't never asked
00:38:05nobody to make
00:38:06a statement,
00:38:07you know what I'm saying?
00:38:07I feel comfortable
00:38:09and I feel comfortable
00:38:10asking you
00:38:11because I know
00:38:11real deal,
00:38:12real, real,
00:38:13real, real dog shit
00:38:14that if it's a nigga's
00:38:15funeral
00:38:16that you'd be
00:38:16jumping in my casket.
00:38:18Because I love you, bitch.
00:38:20Yeah, because you
00:38:21really love me,
00:38:22you know what I mean?
00:38:22I really do.
00:38:23And you know
00:38:24how I feel about you.
00:38:26But it's all good
00:38:26sometimes.
00:38:27You gotta put yourself
00:38:28and your family first
00:38:29and I respect that.
00:38:31You know what I'm saying?
00:38:32If you have
00:38:33any apprehensions.
00:38:34If God don't tell you
00:38:35100% to do it,
00:38:36your man TV
00:38:37don't tell you
00:38:37anybody.
00:38:38Kalina Harper
00:38:40is speaking out
00:38:44in support of
00:38:45the music mogul.
00:38:45Many of the
00:38:46allegations and incidents
00:38:47described in this suit
00:38:48are not representative
00:38:50of my experiences
00:38:51and some
00:38:52do not align
00:38:53with my own
00:38:54troop.
00:38:58Who's willing
00:38:59to cooperate
00:39:00with the government
00:39:01in this case?
00:39:01given who the defendant
00:39:04is,
00:39:05what do you expect
00:39:06that witness list
00:39:07to look like?
00:39:10Hey, yo, cat!
00:39:12Cat!
00:39:12Cat!
00:39:13Cat!
00:39:13I got a text
00:39:15from the lead investigator.
00:39:17You've been formally subpoenaed.
00:39:19They'd like to begin
00:39:20the pretrial process.
00:39:22They had talked
00:39:24to well over
00:39:24200 people
00:39:25before they got to me.
00:39:27They were like,
00:39:28you kept coming up,
00:39:29you kept coming up,
00:39:29you kept coming up.
00:39:31But I never wanted
00:39:33to tell you anyway.
00:39:35I wanted you
00:39:36to think it was all
00:39:37bad boy for life.
00:39:41I answered
00:39:41their questions.
00:39:43Then they say,
00:39:44is there anything
00:39:45missing?
00:39:46And I blew
00:39:47their minds.
00:39:49It was 2011.
00:39:50Puff and myself
00:39:52had moved
00:39:53to Los Angeles.
00:39:55That's the original,
00:39:57that's the original thing,
00:39:58right?
00:39:58Exactly.
00:39:58Everything's original.
00:39:59Yeah.
00:40:01He had a trip
00:40:02and Cassie came out
00:40:04and stayed with me.
00:40:06That gave her
00:40:07a little bit of freedom.
00:40:09Is that 8 and a minute?
00:40:10Mm-hmm.
00:40:11Don't get that out.
00:40:12So when Cassie's
00:40:13stepping out,
00:40:13she's like,
00:40:13oh, I'm gonna go
00:40:14hang out with my friend.
00:40:17And who was he?
00:40:18Kid Cudi.
00:40:18Scott Muscutty.
00:40:22Wake up the next morning.
00:40:23She texts me.
00:40:24She says,
00:40:24hey, can Scott
00:40:25go hiking with us?
00:40:27And I was like,
00:40:29ooh.
00:40:30And then the hairs
00:40:30raised on my arm.
00:40:32And I said,
00:40:33this is going to be
00:40:36monumentally problematic.
00:40:41He can cheat on you.
00:40:42You can't cheat on him,
00:40:44Cassie.
00:40:44And I work for him
00:40:46at the end of the day.
00:40:47So now you've involved me
00:40:48by just texting me,
00:40:50can he hike with us?
00:40:55Kid Cudi goes hiking with us.
00:40:57Totally normal day.
00:40:59About a week after
00:41:00we went hiking,
00:41:02about 6, 6.30 in the morning,
00:41:04I hear a banging at my door.
00:41:06Go chop, chop.
00:41:07It's Puff.
00:41:10His pants are split open
00:41:11like a maniac
00:41:13frothing the side of his mouth.
00:41:17He has a gun
00:41:18and he's mad as hell.
00:41:21He's like,
00:41:22why didn't you tell me?
00:41:24And I'm like,
00:41:25I don't know what you're talking about.
00:41:27Kid Cudi.
00:41:29And I was like,
00:41:29oh, that's Cassie's friend.
00:41:31And he's like,
00:41:32like, yeah,
00:41:33fuck all this.
00:41:34Go get dressed.
00:41:34We're going to go kill him.
00:41:35And I'm like,
00:41:38I don't want to do that.
00:41:41And he's like,
00:41:42I don't give a fuck
00:41:43what you want to do.
00:41:46He kidnapped me
00:41:47and we drove 15 minutes
00:41:49up to Cudi's house.
00:41:53He went in with his gun.
00:41:56I was praying that Cudi wasn't home
00:41:58and I called Cassie.
00:42:03What the fuck?
00:42:04He came and got me
00:42:05with a gun.
00:42:06We came up to Cudi's house
00:42:07to kill him.
00:42:08He's inside the house.
00:42:09I don't know what's going on,
00:42:10Cassie.
00:42:11What the fuck is going on?
00:42:12What happened?
00:42:15She said,
00:42:15Cudi's with me.
00:42:17Then I see Puff
00:42:18coming back down the walkway
00:42:19and he was like,
00:42:21tell her I have you
00:42:23and I'm not going to let you go.
00:42:26Cassie,
00:42:26he has me.
00:42:27He won't let me go
00:42:28until I'm coming to get you.
00:42:30She says,
00:42:30come get me.
00:42:31He immediately begins
00:42:35kicking shit out of her.
00:42:38She was just crouching
00:42:40and
00:42:41he was just kicking her.
00:42:45He never balled up his fist
00:42:46and it reminded me of
00:42:47like Pimp 70s shit.
00:42:49Like, oh, you're not going to,
00:42:50you're not going to touch her face
00:42:51because that's where the money is.
00:42:53Puff is like,
00:42:57what y'all got to do
00:42:57is tell Cudi
00:42:58to not tell the police it's me.
00:43:01If I get in trouble today
00:43:02for this bitch,
00:43:04I'm killing everybody.
00:43:06First of all,
00:43:06I want to start by saying
00:43:07I'm very proud of y'all.
00:43:09You know,
00:43:09when I started out
00:43:10on my professional career,
00:43:13it's this fire
00:43:14and this passion
00:43:15that you have inside of you
00:43:16that makes you want
00:43:17a better life for yourself
00:43:19where you put your ego to the side
00:43:21and you're ready to serve
00:43:23whoever your boss is.
00:43:24You ready to be there
00:43:25and be loyal
00:43:25and help take them to the top.
00:43:28He was so mad
00:43:30for not telling him
00:43:31that Cassie was fucking Cudi.
00:43:33I was fired
00:43:34and I went from being in charge
00:43:35of the company
00:43:36to you'll never be a president
00:43:37of any company.
00:43:40The kidnapping is for me
00:43:42is that's like
00:43:43the most detrimental thing.
00:43:47I work so hard
00:43:48to be able to take care of myself.
00:43:51And I work so hard
00:43:52for Pup.
00:43:56His life would have been over then.
00:43:58He would have gone to jail
00:43:58for kidnapping
00:43:59in Los Angeles.
00:44:02But I protected you
00:44:03because I had more love
00:44:04for the culture
00:44:05than to embarrass him
00:44:06and take it all away
00:44:07from him like that.
00:44:09But you and Cassie
00:44:10put me back in it
00:44:11after I was out.
00:44:12The trauma that this case
00:44:20has caused me
00:44:21has been more traumatized
00:44:25than the first go-round with it
00:44:27because now I have to tell you
00:44:29what he did
00:44:30before I could pretend
00:44:31it was fine.
00:44:35And I think I did a good job of it.
00:44:37If you look at my Instagram,
00:44:38you'll see good stories
00:44:40about the past.
00:44:43I didn't call him the devil
00:44:45until Cassie finally came out
00:44:47and said something.
00:44:48The most anticipated trial
00:44:57of the year
00:44:58officially underway
00:44:59in New York City.
00:45:00Mom, how are you seeing?
00:45:02How are you seeing?
00:45:03Music mogul Sean Diddy Combs
00:45:04facing life in prison
00:45:05on charges of sex trafficking,
00:45:07racketeering,
00:45:07and transportation
00:45:08to engage in prostitution.
00:45:10In the matter of U.S. vs. Combs,
00:45:33count one, not guilty.
00:45:35Max Travigin,
00:45:36Alva Cassandra, Ventura,
00:45:37not guilty.
00:45:37It is a mixed verdict,
00:45:56if you will.
00:45:57It's a mixed verdict,
00:45:58but it is a stunning victory
00:46:00for the defense.
00:46:01When we were in the deliberation room
00:46:09and we've come to an agreement
00:46:12and we're only saying
00:46:15that he's guilty
00:46:15for these two counts,
00:46:17my words exactly were,
00:46:19oh, S-H-I-T.
00:46:22Do you think that justice was served?
00:46:24100%.
00:46:25We saw both sides of it
00:46:28and we came with our conclusions.
00:46:30Today's a great victory.
00:46:32It's a great victory
00:46:34for Sean Combs.
00:46:36Today is a win.
00:46:38I wasn't shocked
00:46:39by the verdict.
00:46:42He knows how to control
00:46:43the narrative
00:46:44or change the narrative
00:46:45by throwing money at it.
00:46:48Sean threw good money
00:46:50towards a bad situation
00:46:52that he was in.
00:46:53He threw a lot of it
00:46:54at that situation.
00:46:56Eight lawyers.
00:46:57Combs' legal team,
00:46:59which has been dubbed
00:47:00the dream team,
00:47:01it's a multi-million dollar
00:47:02group of lawyers.
00:47:04We had a wonderful jury.
00:47:06They listened to every word
00:47:07and they got the situation right.
00:47:11I'm not a rapper,
00:47:14music lover or anything,
00:47:16so I need zero knowledge about him.
00:47:18I am of that generation
00:47:20who basically grew up
00:47:23listening to the music
00:47:25that he was involved in
00:47:27from Biggie to 112.
00:47:31I even like Day 26.
00:47:33I wasn't like a personal fan of his,
00:47:36but in general, the music.
00:47:37Twelve jurors
00:47:41looking at a celebrity
00:47:43for the first time,
00:47:44up close and personal,
00:47:48in a unique situation
00:47:49where they have the power
00:47:51over that celebrity.
00:47:55It's easy for him
00:47:56to play on people's consciousness,
00:47:59on their opinion of him,
00:48:00on their thoughts of him,
00:48:01on their view of him,
00:48:03by just turning a PR switch on.
00:48:05In the trial,
00:48:08one of the things
00:48:09that blew my mind
00:48:10is I actually saw
00:48:11a huge PR machine at play.
00:48:14I'm going to be at this trial
00:48:15every single day.
00:48:16I'm going to be in the morning
00:48:18to turn your notice.
00:48:19I was one of 14 members
00:48:20of the public
00:48:21that were allowed
00:48:22in the courtroom.
00:48:23It was a lot.
00:48:25Other people on social media,
00:48:27they were right there with me.
00:48:28And I saw Diddy's PR team
00:48:31working out,
00:48:33literally talking to bloggers.
00:48:35Talking to everybody.
00:48:38It's like we have a movie
00:48:39and you're speaking this language
00:48:41and, you know what I'm saying,
00:48:42we need subtitles.
00:48:44Diddy's team actually approached me
00:48:46and said,
00:48:47hey, we want to give you
00:48:48the transcripts.
00:48:50Every day we send out
00:48:51a highlight of the parts
00:48:54that you should actually
00:48:55pay attention to
00:48:56and that you might want
00:48:59to share with your people.
00:49:01Now when that happened,
00:49:02I was like, okay,
00:49:03but no thank you, right?
00:49:04So you have to have
00:49:05some sort of calms
00:49:06to constantly
00:49:07be pushing that mark.
00:49:09You have to.
00:49:10This is a 10-year relationship
00:49:12and it was adults
00:49:13and consensual
00:49:14and everybody who was there
00:49:15wanted to be there.
00:49:17Because you may just be
00:49:17the person that just does,
00:49:18you just may watch CNN.
00:49:20You know what I'm saying?
00:49:21And there's like,
00:49:22there's 9 billion people
00:49:23in the world
00:49:23and 7 billion of them
00:49:25is on Instagram
00:49:26and TikTok.
00:49:29And so you had,
00:49:30you had the wrong place
00:49:31looking to see
00:49:32what the people
00:49:32with the possible jurors
00:49:33are thinking.
00:49:36In the lunchroom,
00:49:37Diddy's PR team
00:49:38was holding court.
00:49:40I saw them
00:49:41with a lot of bloggers,
00:49:43Instagram, TikTokers.
00:49:45Every day they would convene.
00:49:46They would be whispering
00:49:47back and forth.
00:49:49And I literally saw
00:49:51how something would happen
00:49:52in court.
00:49:53And the same group of people
00:49:55that were like this
00:49:56with Diddy's PR,
00:49:58they were reporting
00:49:59their version of events.
00:50:02And it spread everywhere.
00:50:05You got a jury
00:50:06that's not sequestered.
00:50:07They're going to be
00:50:07going home every night.
00:50:09And this will be
00:50:10all over social media.
00:50:12When they did not
00:50:14sequester the jurors,
00:50:16I was like,
00:50:16this can turn upside down
00:50:18by the end of the trial
00:50:19because I knew
00:50:20that there would be
00:50:21a way in for him.
00:50:22Got it all for him, sir.
00:50:23My tripping?
00:50:25Cassie takes
00:50:25absolutely zero accountability.
00:50:28Cassie was pretty much
00:50:30the ringleader.
00:50:31That bitch was going back
00:50:32to the freak off.
00:50:33Baby, you went back.
00:50:34Being freaky
00:50:35is not a crime.
00:50:36People have that
00:50:36motherfucking jury
00:50:37questioning everything
00:50:39they fucking see
00:50:39with their damn eyes.
00:50:42For me,
00:50:43staying out of social media
00:50:45and things wasn't difficult,
00:50:46but some people
00:50:47I know
00:50:48were like
00:50:50fiending
00:50:50to get back
00:50:51onto Instagram
00:50:52or like,
00:50:53oh my gosh,
00:50:53I have to check
00:50:54my X, Y, and Z.
00:50:57It's funny
00:50:57because you would
00:50:58hear rumors
00:50:59that something
00:51:00happened in court
00:51:01and we're like,
00:51:03what?
00:51:03That didn't happen?
00:51:04What do you mean?
00:51:07The jurors
00:51:08definitely started
00:51:09to feel that
00:51:10there was a major shift
00:51:11in tone of energy
00:51:12towards the future.
00:51:13In closing arguments,
00:51:13they were saying things like
00:51:15this was a modern-day
00:51:16love story.
00:51:17You didn't see
00:51:18any force fraud
00:51:19or coercion
00:51:20between Cassie and Sean.
00:51:22That was a very,
00:51:25very interesting
00:51:26relationship.
00:51:27Two people
00:51:28in love,
00:51:30you know,
00:51:30they are like
00:51:31overly loved.
00:51:32You cannot explain
00:51:33she wanted
00:51:35to be with him.
00:51:36He took her
00:51:37for granted.
00:51:38He never thought
00:51:39that she'd leave her.
00:51:41So it's like
00:51:41both hands clapping
00:51:43together.
00:51:44You cannot clap
00:51:44with one hand.
00:51:45The both hands
00:51:46like this,
00:51:47then you get the noise.
00:51:48Do you believe
00:51:49that Sean Combs
00:51:50is a violent person?
00:51:52Based on that
00:51:53Intercontinental video,
00:51:55he can be.
00:52:01Unforgivable,
00:52:02honestly.
00:52:05You can't beat
00:52:05that small girl
00:52:06like that
00:52:07the way he did.
00:52:08The defense
00:52:09was smart to say,
00:52:10hey,
00:52:10it's not against the law
00:52:11to be a bad person.
00:52:13You can say
00:52:14he was a terrible person.
00:52:15Mike Klein is not being
00:52:16charged with domestic violence.
00:52:17But...
00:52:17he's not charged
00:52:18with domestic violence.
00:52:21Domestic violence
00:52:21wasn't one of the charges.
00:52:24The very next day,
00:52:26the following day,
00:52:26if you see how
00:52:27they are getting back
00:52:28together and exchanging
00:52:29text messages
00:52:30and like nothing
00:52:32ever happened.
00:52:33So now we are confused.
00:52:35What's going on here?
00:52:36He's beating her.
00:52:37Next minute,
00:52:38they are going on
00:52:39dinners and trips.
00:52:42It's like going
00:52:42back and forth,
00:52:43back and forth,
00:52:44back and forth.
00:52:46Allegations of
00:52:47I was forced,
00:52:48I had to say,
00:52:49are nonsense.
00:52:50She could have done
00:52:51whatever she wanted to do.
00:52:53That's my answer.
00:52:54I mean,
00:52:54if you don't like something,
00:52:56you completely get out.
00:52:58You cannot have
00:52:58worth this.
00:52:59Have the luxury
00:53:00and then complain about it?
00:53:02I don't think so.
00:53:03He's turning a PR switch on
00:53:07and turning it off,
00:53:09turning another one
00:53:10on over here,
00:53:11lighting a match
00:53:12for diversion over here,
00:53:13and then you get people
00:53:14confused about whether
00:53:16any of this is real
00:53:17or people are just
00:53:19coming after him
00:53:20to attack him.
00:53:22Combs has really
00:53:23been eyeing jurors,
00:53:24looking for their reaction
00:53:25to all of the testimony.
00:53:27where the judge
00:53:27threatened to remove
00:53:29Combs from the courtroom.
00:53:31At one point,
00:53:32the judge did reprimand
00:53:33him for nodding
00:53:34at the jury.
00:53:35Did you ever
00:53:36make eye contact
00:53:37with Sean?
00:53:39No, no, no.
00:53:40No, we are not
00:53:42supposed to.
00:53:43If they catch you
00:53:44doing eye contacts
00:53:46or any other
00:53:47gestures,
00:53:49you'll be removed.
00:53:51You'll be kicked out.
00:53:52There were times
00:53:54where he would feel
00:53:55strongly, I guess,
00:53:56for something
00:53:57and would nod.
00:53:59But that's pretty much
00:54:00all it was.
00:54:01It wasn't anything crazy
00:54:03or, like,
00:54:04it wasn't like he was
00:54:05trying to sway us.
00:54:07It was, I think it was
00:54:07more of just him
00:54:08as a person
00:54:10just reacting
00:54:11to whatever was being said
00:54:12and forgetting
00:54:13where he was
00:54:14at the time.
00:54:16It's funny because
00:54:17I remember that nod
00:54:18watching Making of the Band.
00:54:20Like, he would do that
00:54:21often.
00:54:22I think that's just
00:54:23his go-to.
00:54:27If he felt
00:54:28it was something
00:54:29that he wanted,
00:54:30I guess, approval on,
00:54:31he would look towards us
00:54:32and be like,
00:54:35you heard that.
00:54:36And sometimes
00:54:37look over to us like,
00:54:38can you believe
00:54:39they said that?
00:54:40And his facial expressions.
00:54:42What the f***
00:54:43did you just get?
00:54:45It was funny to see
00:54:47because I had
00:54:48the same facial expressions
00:54:49that he did at times
00:54:51when it was something
00:54:52that someone said
00:54:54and it's like,
00:54:54that didn't make
00:54:55much sense.
00:54:56Like what?
00:55:00Um,
00:55:01I think
00:55:02the biggest one
00:55:04I remember
00:55:04was when
00:55:06Capricorn Clark
00:55:08said something
00:55:11about being kidnapped.
00:55:12The jurors heard
00:55:14the emotional testimony
00:55:16from Capricorn Clark.
00:55:17She alleges
00:55:18the music mogul
00:55:18kidnapped and threatened her.
00:55:19Clark described
00:55:20her relationship
00:55:21with Combs
00:55:22as, quote,
00:55:22complicated.
00:55:23Everything that I said
00:55:25in court
00:55:26is mad real.
00:55:27I said,
00:55:28I've been kidnapped
00:55:29with a gun.
00:55:30My life has been threatened.
00:55:31I've watched him
00:55:32beat up his girlfriend.
00:55:34We went to murder somebody.
00:55:35But that jury
00:55:38in there
00:55:39that day,
00:55:40I knew
00:55:40they didn't believe
00:55:42anything.
00:55:43I mean,
00:55:44it's hard to believe.
00:55:46It's hard to believe.
00:55:47I think we kind of,
00:55:49I think the whole juror,
00:55:51the room,
00:55:52felt
00:55:52that question mark
00:55:54pop up.
00:55:56I'm watching them
00:55:57as they relate to him.
00:55:58but I think
00:55:59they all kind of had
00:56:01a like for Puff.
00:56:03Whenever they looked
00:56:04over at Puff,
00:56:05it was like,
00:56:05like buddy, buddy.
00:56:07They were starstruck.
00:56:10I never looked
00:56:11at him once.
00:56:13But every time
00:56:14I caught the glance
00:56:15of him in the corner
00:56:16of my eye,
00:56:17he would make me cry.
00:56:18I cried a lot in there
00:56:19because I was like,
00:56:22this is a nightmare.
00:56:24You look like
00:56:25a fucking walking corpse,
00:56:27Puff.
00:56:27I'm hearing
00:56:29some disgusting stuff
00:56:30and I have to
00:56:32re-traumatize myself
00:56:33about what you took
00:56:34from me.
00:56:35But what happened
00:56:36to you?
00:56:39Capricorn Clark
00:56:40had a lot of
00:56:41information
00:56:42that was
00:56:43very emotional.
00:56:46She's remembering
00:56:46these events
00:56:48more than a decade ago
00:56:50and with the emotion
00:56:52attached to it,
00:56:54maybe the details
00:56:55are skewed.
00:56:56But the problem is
00:56:57that that just
00:56:57leaves room
00:56:58for doubt.
00:57:01That's where
00:57:03her credibility
00:57:04became an issue,
00:57:05I think.
00:57:13They miss the nuances.
00:57:16They get these highlights
00:57:18like he beat her
00:57:22for 15 minutes
00:57:23and kicked her
00:57:24in the face.
00:57:25Well, he had been
00:57:26beating women
00:57:26since 1992
00:57:28and he was kicking them
00:57:30when they were down.
00:57:32It's just not on film.
00:57:35It seems to be
00:57:36all of a sudden
00:57:37with Sean
00:57:38and it isn't.
00:57:42This has been
00:57:43a slow build.
00:57:44Some of it happened
00:57:46before our eyes.
00:57:49The death toll
00:57:50from last week's
00:57:51stampede
00:57:51at a New York
00:57:52charity basketball game
00:57:53has risen to nine.
00:57:55Whatever must be done
00:57:56must be done
00:57:57to ensure
00:57:58that this never,
00:57:59ever, ever
00:58:00happens again.
00:58:01And we blinked twice.
00:58:03Puffy,
00:58:03as well as
00:58:04the head
00:58:04of his security team
00:58:05are both charged
00:58:06with second degree
00:58:06assault
00:58:07in connection
00:58:07with a beating attack
00:58:09on music industry
00:58:10executive Steve Stout.
00:58:11Stout and Combs
00:58:12have settled out
00:58:13of court
00:58:13for a half a million dollars.
00:58:14And we blinked again
00:58:15and then we're like,
00:58:17okay,
00:58:17I guess this is
00:58:18what's cool now.
00:58:20Sean Puffy Combs
00:58:22was arrested
00:58:22here in New York
00:58:23today on a gun
00:58:24possession charge
00:58:25after leaving
00:58:26a nightclub
00:58:27in which three people
00:58:28were shot.
00:58:29The DA failed
00:58:30to prove
00:58:30that Combs
00:58:31was in any way
00:58:32responsible.
00:58:33I'm at really a loss.
00:58:34I'm very emotional.
00:58:36I'm just,
00:58:36I feel blessed.
00:58:37But you still have
00:58:38a victim road
00:58:40that leads
00:58:41to Sean Combs.
00:58:43Some pretty
00:58:44explosive allegations
00:58:45tonight against P. Diddy.
00:58:46Fox 5's Julie Banderas
00:58:48is at the courthouse
00:58:48in Lower Manhattan
00:58:49right now.
00:58:50Julie.
00:58:50Hey, Rosanna.
00:58:51Well, all of us know
00:58:52celebrities like P. Diddy
00:58:53get dragged
00:58:54through the mud
00:58:54all the time,
00:58:55but this latest
00:58:56allegation's so shocking.
00:58:58Would you believe
00:58:59they're accusing
00:59:00P. Diddy of murder?
00:59:02P. Diddy's been sued
00:59:03a bunch of times before,
00:59:04but by his best friend
00:59:06make that former friend
00:59:07Kirk Burroughs,
00:59:08he's even the godfather
00:59:09of one of Combs' sons.
00:59:10Yep, that's show business.
00:59:13I also am a victim
00:59:15on multiple levels
00:59:17with Sean Combs.
00:59:19I think out of everybody
00:59:22that has a gripe
00:59:23with Sean,
00:59:24Kirk is probably
00:59:25the most legitimate.
00:59:27Kirk was the foundation
00:59:29of Bad Boy.
00:59:30He wasn't the face,
00:59:32but in the early days,
00:59:34he was the foundation
00:59:34of it,
00:59:35and Bad Boy would not run
00:59:36unless Kirk was involved.
00:59:39He really caught
00:59:40a bad deal.
00:59:42Not only was he abusive
00:59:44to me
00:59:45from an employer,
00:59:47employee standpoint,
00:59:49he was also abusive
00:59:52to me in other ways.
00:59:55In what way?
01:00:01Sexually deviant ways.
01:00:03I did not want to do it.
01:00:10I didn't want to be around him
01:00:11and take care of him
01:00:12as he's essaying me
01:00:14and others.
01:00:18I had 25% ownership
01:00:20of Bad Boy.
01:00:21I worked day and night.
01:00:25After I was fired,
01:00:26I wanted to get
01:00:27my 25% paid out,
01:00:29and I started to get
01:00:31things together
01:00:32to build a lawsuit.
01:00:33to sue him
01:00:34for the stocks
01:00:36that he had taken
01:00:37from me.
01:00:39Burroughs claimed
01:00:39P. Diddy cheated
01:00:40him out of $25 million.
01:00:42Today, his lawyers
01:00:42made shocking allegations.
01:00:44They even accuse him
01:00:45of ordering the hit
01:00:46that killed
01:00:47rapper Tupac Shakur.
01:00:49This is a terrorist
01:00:50organization
01:00:51that uses fear,
01:00:52violence,
01:00:53and the threat
01:00:53of violence
01:00:54to take money
01:00:55from people
01:00:56and put it
01:00:56in their pocket.
01:00:59It was eventually
01:01:01labeled Rico
01:01:02and racketeering.
01:01:05I was the first
01:01:06to call it,
01:01:07but I was looked on
01:01:10as,
01:01:10that has to be a lie.
01:01:12Right now,
01:01:13the judge did say,
01:01:14this looks like
01:01:15it will be dismissed.
01:01:16After the filing
01:01:17of the lawsuit,
01:01:18I did not succeed,
01:01:20and then I was banished
01:01:22from the business.
01:01:25For 25 years,
01:01:27I was basically
01:01:28blacklisted
01:01:29and banned.
01:01:31Next thing you know,
01:01:32shelters,
01:01:33homelessness,
01:01:34homelessness.
01:01:38We've shown,
01:01:39sometimes you're
01:01:40humiliated.
01:01:42Sometimes you're
01:01:43made an example of.
01:01:46Sometimes violent
01:01:47things happen to you.
01:01:50Through the years,
01:01:52a lot of bad things
01:01:53happened to good friends.
01:01:54as bottomless
01:02:03as the hole
01:02:04that you think
01:02:05he's in,
01:02:05he comes up
01:02:06out like a whirlwind
01:02:07and like a shooting star
01:02:09into the sky.
01:02:12I made
01:02:13the big mistake
01:02:15in my life
01:02:16to think
01:02:17that when you
01:02:18are championing
01:02:19someone
01:02:20and taking care
01:02:21of them
01:02:22and you have
01:02:24their back
01:02:25and you are
01:02:26the holder
01:02:27of their secrets,
01:02:30the betrayal
01:02:33came at a great cost
01:02:36and the way
01:02:39he handled me
01:02:40was to erase me.
01:02:45Cassie Ventura
01:02:46released a statement
01:02:47saying,
01:02:48I am so scared
01:02:49that his first actions
01:02:50will be swift
01:02:51retribution
01:02:51towards me
01:02:52and others
01:02:53who spoke
01:02:53about him
01:02:54at this trial.
01:02:59People have asked,
01:03:00was I afraid?
01:03:01I was afraid.
01:03:04I've been afraid.
01:03:05I am afraid.
01:03:07What are you afraid of?
01:03:09Powerful people
01:03:10do scary things.
01:03:12He remembers
01:03:19all of the people
01:03:20that said no
01:03:21and that might have
01:03:22slighted him
01:03:22and there's a price
01:03:24to pay for that.
01:03:26He who never mistreated
01:03:27anyone
01:03:28and never stole
01:03:28anything
01:03:29and never abused
01:03:30anybody.
01:03:31He's devious.
01:03:32He's calculating.
01:03:35Master manipulator.
01:03:36I think in ways
01:03:39he's soulless.
01:03:41This shit is
01:03:42motherfucking history.
01:03:43Last night
01:03:44we was human.
01:03:46But tonight
01:03:47you're going to superhuman.
01:03:50And I think
01:03:51it's hate crimes
01:03:52that Sean has
01:03:53perpetrated
01:03:54against countless
01:03:55people
01:03:56that have crossed
01:03:57this path.
01:03:58It hurts.
01:04:04It hurts.
01:04:06It hurts.
01:04:07I hope
01:04:08he's getting
01:04:09everything he got
01:04:09coming to him
01:04:10and plus some more.
01:04:12He's going to get it all.
01:04:14He's going to get it
01:04:15the same way
01:04:15he gave it.
01:04:16He's going to get it.
01:04:18Everybody
01:04:19had to go
01:04:20do something
01:04:21with this dude.
01:04:23Sucker ass
01:04:24nigga.
01:04:27When I was
01:04:27first starting
01:04:28now
01:04:28I didn't have
01:04:29no mercy.
01:04:31If you live
01:04:31life like that
01:04:32too much
01:04:33I think your
01:04:33intentions
01:04:34can get
01:04:34misinterpreted.
01:04:36My intentions
01:04:37were just to
01:04:38make everybody
01:04:38the best.
01:04:40For everybody
01:04:41to eat
01:04:42to make history
01:04:43and to inspire
01:04:45the world
01:04:45and I think
01:04:46I did that.
01:04:48I don't want
01:04:49to wake up
01:04:50you know
01:04:50old and have
01:04:52any regrets
01:04:53that I didn't
01:04:54develop as a man.
01:04:55I'm still
01:04:59in this movie
01:05:00and I just
01:05:01plan on
01:05:02I just know
01:05:03the ending
01:05:03and that it's
01:05:04going to end
01:05:05happily ever after.
01:05:06I don't know

01:05:11if you're
01:05:12a man
