00:00Well it was so new you know we'd spent time on the show but you just have a

00:04limited amount of time you spend together and now even though we live

00:07apart we have spent a very good amount of time together and over the next two

00:12to three weeks we'll be together a lot and we'll take a week and see each other

00:16so we're we're still learning you know in all honesty you still learn about

00:19someone a year later and it's been very enjoyable and what we're also learning

00:23is the strengths and weaknesses that we have or you know the positives where

00:27somebody is very good Joan loves to schedule she loves to like getting here

00:31she's like okay we're leaving at 9 13 we're taking this and it's actually nice

00:36for me because I'm a little bit of I'll get there you know I might have to walk

00:39might have to take a train whatever I do but Joan is on it so it really it helps

00:43my life it makes it much better well he kind of said that in the beginning of

00:45a relationship he's like he really pretty much raised his kids on his own like for

00:50a bunch of years and he's like I'm tired like I've been everybody's scheduler and

00:54organizer for a lot of years he's like if you'll take that on and I was like fine

00:57because I also I'm a little bit of time control brief but I'm very punctual and

01:03I like life is busy and I feel like we need to plan because I have four kids who

01:08have significance three of them are married once engaged like like I have to

01:11plan things to you know get everybody together or life needs to be planned

01:15otherwise it just kind of passes by and you don't get to do all the things you

01:18want to do so there's a little part of me that like is we'll get married but

01:23right now we're busy like I couldn't plan a wedding right now if my life

01:26depended on it I mean it would have to be like in elope or like go to City Hall or

01:29whatever I have a son who got married last summer I have a son who's getting

01:32married this summer there may be babies on the way with people so like life is so

01:38busy and we kind of put ourselves when it comes to putting our kids first there

01:42first and then we'll chime in when the time is right and I would say we want to

01:47it's just I guess the best way to say it's not a priority with everything we have

01:51going on right now we're together I mean it won't change the way we are I mean

01:54we'll have I'll still take out the trash make the bed every now and then I don't

02:03think it will change the way we are very much to be honest with you I'm gonna be

02:06honest I do feel that way that like if something happened with us which nothing

02:10is gonna happen but if something did that it would be hard on the golden

02:15franchise I thought that when I went on the show to be honest I'm not sure if I ever

02:18told said this to anybody that I felt a lot of pressure to be successful

02:23because Gary and Teresa had just broken up right before I started filming like

02:28within months and I felt a lot of pressure that if I wasn't successful if I

02:33didn't find somebody that it would be the end of it I remember the first night

02:37that we actually got to sleep together so film the whole show get through the

02:41finale and we have a night that we are allowed to be together until we have to

02:45kind of be separated you know because of the show and you can't be together until

02:49the finale so we have a suite on the ship that we're staying on where we're you

02:55know we're kind of staying during filming and we fall asleep and he snores the

03:00whole night it was like it was a purr every guy says that and I didn't sleep the

03:09whole night and I had never experienced this before and so we get up in the

03:13morning and I actually had left during the night I actually went back to my

03:17room I was like see you later and he explains to me in the morning that he

03:21didn't have his remote control and he has sleep apnea but he had he's like it's

03:25okay it's gonna be fine because I have this inspire implant and he told I had

03:28never even heard of it and he told me all about it and the next night no

03:32snoring at all and I know that people really deal with this in their marriages

03:36I have a friend he says when he wakes up in the morning sometimes his wife is like

03:39really mad at him and he's done nothing but sleep and she's like yeah that's

03:42what you did you slept I didn't sleep at all so I mean it is a thing in marriages

03:46and I am very thankful that like of all the things that we've dealt with as you

03:50know dating on national TV that was not one of them and if the tables were turned I

03:54would drive Joan to the doctor's office and say let's look into this I do want to

03:59mention that I travel a lot and a lot of it's for Joan and I to get together but

04:03then also just for work but I did want to bring this this is the remote and I

04:07people ask me all the time they go how does it work in this remote you just go

04:11here turn it on with me traveling I actually carry it on me it is that

04:16important because I don't want to lose my bags or anything else but then again

04:20it's a very simple process to turn it on and off and he did forget it one time oh

04:24yeah I heard about it all she's like can you know that can you go to the

04:30drugstore and get another one it's not that simple
