It evil and sick if you actually think about it all that crying and claiming to love was a lie. He pretended to be broke claiming it was a test. It doesn’t take 7 years to determine if someone a gold digger or not. Then pretend to be crippled so he doesn’t have to work and she work multiple jobs to provide for another lie he told ( don’t want tell the plot twist near the end) just evil stopped her from going abroad and bettering herself. He didn’t love her he love the game he was playing.
