I bet some people watched this and thought she was wrong, but he killed the live she had for him. Then when he realized he had hurt her over and over for the snake he let come between them. When she was gone he thought she’d come back because she loved him so much, never realizing she didn’t love him anymore.
The ending was cut a bit short because the wrong person died, the snake didn’t get her come upance!
