00:00so it's been a few years in the making and it's come about to basically support cancer patients
00:19and when really they've had that terrible diagnosis and throughout their journey when
00:26we're here to support them and their families their loved ones and to bring people together to
00:33connect with each other and throughout that terrible process really and to try and help them
00:41find a common goal and to bring them together to talk to each other to try and support each other
00:49center is literally outside the hospital you can't miss it when you come outside and the word is in
00:57the title of the center it's a help center so much needed for many years yeah so and it's been a good
01:05few years in the making we're able to get to this point but it's non-clinical it's comfortable it's
01:11tranquil it's gorgeous what we want really is people who who who get that dreadful life-changing
01:17diagnosis of a cancer diagnosis and when they're on the way out of the hospital and they're coming
01:22across them they're either going to the bus or they're going to the car or they're going to try
01:26and get a taxi or whatever they see us and they can come over and we can you know we can offer as
01:31much help as possible we've got mcmillan cancer in here and support they are amazing so they're in
01:39actually one third of the building if you like and then the part we're in here now which is our
01:44based on a maggie center it's you know it's offering support it's offering you know all
01:49sorts of of help to people and then in our third section we've got minds matters who are offering
01:56psycho-oncology and people who you know some people need a little bit of help and some people
02:01unfortunately need a lot of help so you know between the three areas it all comes together to help
02:06people as much as we can
