00:14face-offs they showed off their holiday spirit Merry friggin Christmas forget

00:21about it okay in star quality challenges they shared their charm will you please

00:25take my hand yeah their humor hello what'd you think of that stunt and their heart I

00:35don't know who I really am without him either now just three hunks remain Angel

00:41Craig and Rustin everything you've worked for has prepared you for this finale but

00:47only one will land a lead role and be crowned the next mr. Christmas

00:55my last coffee in this house guys last day fellas we all need more coffee I

01:01don't drink coffee today's the day Craig that is today today is not the day it'll

01:06never be the day Craig Angel and I are in the top three we made it to the finale

01:12there's only one acting challenge left until we find out who is crowned mr.

01:18Christmas I am so proud and excited I'm still blown away by the whole our

01:22our stockings are next to each other on the fireplace mantel and the house is so quiet

01:26now all the time you know when we were first here they were like football flying all over

01:30the place guys laughing and now it's just like so chill I'm gonna miss you guys I'm gonna miss

01:35all these experiences we've become really good friends man this is cool yeah that's the kind

01:40of a bigger reward to be honest how do you guys feel about your growth I think that I've grown in

01:46the way of just opening up some more and showing more colors to who I am you know I came in as the

01:55guy with the jokes the guy willing to take the risk hey yo how you's doing my name Santini okay and

02:01I'm the New York version of Santa Claus I've grown so much with the help of all the guys around me with

02:06Jonathan Melissa I became more willing to open up I'm here mom

02:10oh Merry Christmas express more emotions go a little bit deeper I'm a sugar cookie all day

02:18oh you wanna know why yeah I'm impossible not to love

02:22winning this competition would mean the world to me I noticed that growth in you thank you being

02:30able to take those opportunities for growth those failures those shortcomings whatever and learn from

02:35them grow from them show up keep delivering like that's why we're still here pretty proud of myself

02:39for everything I've done so far I bring everything I possibly can emotionally oh he's coming like

02:46Donner okay Donner is silent now quack like a duck with zero hesitation yeah okay very funny the scene

02:55gets the truest version of myself to it every single time when I see something I like I don't rest till

03:03I get it I think that that sets me apart from the rest of the competitors here all the knowledge

03:08we've been given all the experiences the friendships the challenges I'm blessed I'm glad I made it this

03:18far guys all my perseverance is finally paying off I knew the competition was going to be difficult but

03:25I've made it this far and all I have to do is be myself and all about giving love and showing my heart

03:31to others Melissa this is for you honey this is for me this is for you Melissa

03:44now smolder right down the barrel of the lens oh that's it

03:49I'm a little nervous so it's been a long time since I've written oh no worries my lady this is

03:54a life-changing opportunity I want to prove to everybody that I am a leading man whoever gets

04:01crowned Mr. Christmas well done yeah absolutely well done dude bring in here bring in here

04:07I want to introduce you to hallmark legend Christopher Palaha Craig Craig great to meet you man what's

04:27your name what a pleasure to meet you Angel Angel Christopher good to be nice have a seat I wanted

04:32to bring my buddy Christopher Palaha because today is your final star quality challenge you know he

04:37can help answer questions and see if there's anything we can help you with Chris how many hallmark movies

04:42have you done oh my goodness 18 18 last what 10 years I think it's been a little run Christopher is in

04:48my favorite hallmark movie a built more Christmas I'm blown away he's right here I'm sure he has so much

04:55helpful knowledge and experience that we are going to be able to draw from let me be the first to say

04:59congratulations to the three of you for getting this far it's not an easy thing so that means

05:03you've got the chops you've got the looks you've obviously got charisma you've got all the things

05:07that you need at least that's what he's telling me so I'll find out today when we get to work with

05:11each other yeah looking forward to how are you guys feeling good last day is pretty exciting nervous

05:16good nerves um more toward uh excitement I would I would say my high school acting teacher he said

05:29nerves are good it means you care it's like rocket fuel so if you're nervous use it it's good stuff

05:33you can't you can't go wrong if you're a little shaky you know so my advice for you today is you're

05:38going to work with a hallmark leading lady it really is this idea of supporting and understanding your place

05:45in the story it's just listen and respond listen and respond and hallmark movies are unique the

05:52first one I ever did was with megan markle about six months before she met how cool is that and I

05:56remember saying to her I'm here for you whatever you need I'm here to make you feel pretty to make

06:02you feel loved to make you feel wanted that's my job I'm going to be here for 15 days my character's

06:08going to fall in love with your character and I want you to feel that it has to be safe it has to feel

06:13like you have to be a safe haven for people and it really matters because it translates to the

06:18audience and that's my best advice for you guys today I love that it's so simple in concept yeah

06:24but you know people don't realize how challenging myself included um acting can be sometimes it's like

06:29it's all these imaginary circumstances but you're trying to make it feel like the truth yes right I

06:34walked into this house ready to win this thing throughout the way there have been lots of ups and downs

06:40peaks and valleys but I'm hopeful to really make some magic in this last scene the three of you

06:46are exactly where you're supposed to be right now because you all have something so special to give

06:52the world and I am so proud of the men you've become I'm so proud of how much you've all grown

06:59and I just want to say thank you for having the courage to be vulnerable and grow with all of us

07:08together to become even better versions of yourself than you were when you walked in the store there

07:14were so many moments I thought I might not make it but whenever it's my time to perform I'm gonna push

07:20through and make it to the top this is what I want to do with my life and this is an opportunity for me to

07:27bring that leading man energy I'm over the moon man I'm absolutely ecstatic I can't wait I'm gonna

07:34shine one two three I'm gonna shine how you boys feeling you ready oh so ready so absolutely the last

07:42one guys I can't believe the three of us are bringing it home this is crazy proud of you guys

07:47man proud of you too we started with 10 now it's three of us three man here we are with three this is

07:53gonna be it this is gonna be everything all the things that we've learned Jonathan is expecting

07:57a lot from us I want to make it proud whoa dude wait a minute are we doing a scene on a train are you

08:04serious oh we are oh man wow look at the look at the steam coming out hi boys choo choo yeah

08:26what's the next stop Melissa Hollywood that's right welcome to the finding mr. Christmas finale

08:35you're here you made it yup for your final challenge you will be performing a quintessential

08:42hallmark scene right here in this vintage train station okay this scene is about getting your girl

08:50and finishing it with that kiss we all wait for at the end of a hallmark movie okay all right this is

08:59next stop love oh cute your scene is going to be shot in three parts in three different locations

09:06this is a glimpse into what a hallmark leading man's life looks like on set every day there are three

09:13different camera setups so you have to find the emotions at different points which could be a tough

09:19thing to do but I'm really happy to be here get that experience and learn on the fly this is a star

09:26star quality challenge it's a master class and a motivation to level up and rise to the occasion

09:32if this feels overwhelming just breathe because you will have an incredible cast of hallmark actors

09:39who you might have seen in the hallmark series

09:44including Melissa Peterman and myself oh okay we get to do a scene together boys

09:46up to now Jonathan and Melissa have been our judges but it's going to be so cool to be able to act in

09:51a scene with them I'm really excited to see what Melissa has to offer we also have an incredible

09:56director a perfect leading lady and Christopher Palaha may be popping in the scene too oh sweet love that

10:03your leading lady today is a hallmark sweetheart who you might have seen in the hallmark series

10:09when calls the heart we are so lucky to have her please welcome the amazing talented aaron krakow

10:20hi aaron hi aaron nice to meet you nice to meet you look beautiful oh thank you

10:28she has so much experience with hallmark she's going to be such an amazing co-star to act across from

10:34especially for a period piece let's meet your director for today oh he's directed 15 hallmark

10:40movies including my most recent christmas movie a keller christmas vacation he's also the director

10:46of the haul out the holly trilogy with Melissa Peterman wow he writes produces directs and we couldn't

10:53put you in better hands it's the incredible mclean nelson hey guys how's it going boys really

11:01take in what mclean has to say because for this challenge you will get two takes for each scene

11:06after the first take he's going to give you insight and feedback and you'll be judged on how well you

11:12take that direction in your second take you have acting training you have all that but i want you

11:17to bring yourself to these roles as well i want to see a little bit of that because when you bring

11:21yourself i can really push and pull where i need you to go but i really need that base level of like

11:25what makes you special as an actor what are your choices how you see the character great

11:30this is it boys your final chance to prove that you are mr christmas this is everything i've worked

11:39so hard for there's no room for mistakes i want to be mr christmas here are your scripts let's get to

11:46work all right thank you break a leg coming up i mean hurry please hold the train i just need a moment

11:54felt a little too action movie for me if i explained all that you'd think i'm crazier than i already am

12:00we're doing a classic get the girl scene she's taking a train to boston so he's doing everything

12:13he can to find her to prevent her from getting on that train and in true hallmark fashion it ends with

12:19a kiss we are getting to do a period piece at this epic location everyone is is in costume head to toe

12:28and i feel immediately transported into the scene i'm so excited to be able to do this

12:34all right we will be angel first hey ready for this yes how are you doing okay we are shooting the

12:40scene in three different locations with three different parts this is the beginning of the scene

12:46for this piece i arrive into the train station looking for erin it's really important just hit your mark

12:52do the lines react cool honestly and then we'll go from there all right thank you for the first time

12:59we get to have two takes i just have to pay attention on what the director wants

13:05and i'm hoping i bring this character to life okay so jonathan what they don't know on this yeah

13:13melissa she's amazing at improv uh-huh i've given her the liberty to change the lines a couple times

13:19improv is a great way to see how they stay in character so we're gonna see how angel takes

13:24this curveball i like that i like that and action i'm so sorry folks

13:35oh pardon me my lady which way is the train to boston oh boston so beautiful this time of year

13:43i'm in a hurry madam oh right right apologize yeah that will be on track number five you can't miss it

13:49okay but it's leaving right now you're never gonna make it we'll see about that okay wish my

13:55husband would go stop a train for me thank god good job angel thank you so it's fun so i had her

14:02throw a little curveball she added those extra things yes i want you to keep the urgency up and

14:07when you come through these people here play the comedy of trying to get through them quickly you

14:13know it's it's it's a delicate balance because you want to be polite but you also need to find your

14:17love all right okay so all right have have fun with that bit and okay come on in all right all

14:22right thank you okay take two here we go and rolling city cameras action excuse me folks oh

14:31pardon me may could you please tell me which way is the train to boston oh boston oh it's just

14:36a beautiful city this time of year i don't mean to be rude i'm in a hurry right and that is

14:42track number five but it's leaving right now so you're never gonna make it we'll see about that

14:47okay cut hey that was great took that worked yeah it's nice i love that you were able to roll with

14:53both versions and give me great options for both great job brother thank you i appreciate it i felt

14:59like i listened to his direction i interacted politely and in a hurry i don't know if i did

15:05quiet enough to stand out all right brother ready to do this this is the real deal so i'm just gonna

15:15be as coachable and directable as possible and prove that i can really do this action excuse me

15:22pardon me i'm sorry sorry oh excuse me pardon me miss yes which way is the train to boston oh gosh boston

15:30that is such a beautiful city this time of year it absolutely is uh-huh yeah which way is the train

15:36oh right right um oh sure enough in very common melissa fashion she throws us a curveball but i'm

15:44staying polite i think it's track number five straight out those double doors you can't miss

15:50it thank you but it's leaving right now you're never gonna make it we'll see about that gosh track

15:56number five sees a lot of action cut great job dude you're like what's happening

16:04it's gonna be a curveball yeah exactly this happens a lot in movies especially with an amazing

16:09improviser like melissa i love that you kept up the intensity but let's turn it up a little bit great

16:15great grab it okay awesome awesome do it yeah let's see what he does with the next level and action

16:22excuse me i'm sorry you both look lovely boston which way is the train to boston oh gosh boston god

16:30that city is so gorgeous this time isn't it yes i just love it we had the best lunch there where's

16:35the train to boston i'm so sorry it is track number five straight out those double doors thank you great

16:40yeah but it's leaving right now you're never gonna make it we'll see about that cut great i had another

16:48fun line there but they cut me never cut melissa well done thanks mcclaine i'm proud of it that's

16:54it guys thanks now that i've got one under my belt i'm ready for the second scene all right rustin you

17:00ready for this absolutely awesome looking forward to it i this entire time have been reaching for the

17:06moon shooting for the stars i know i have what it takes and all i got to do is get out of my own way

17:13show up do the work have fun and action oh excuse me i'm sorry pardon me which way is the train to

17:22boston oh gosh boston it is so pretty that time of year that's true that's true my sister got married

17:29in boston did i ever tell you that gareth that my sister got married in boston how's it going yes she

17:34did but we were asking which way is the train to boston the train the love of my life is leaving right

17:40now well why did you say so track number five straight out those double this way you can't

17:44miss it thank you so much you know what but you're never gonna make it it's leaving right now we'll see

17:49about that so good great we have such a tight mark here that if you drift a little bit we get a bar

17:56shadow on your face and we lose you so you've got to really square up on this mark okay yeah camera set

18:03up he's good camera likes him and action oh excuse me i'm so sorry pardon me which way is the train

18:12to boston boston such a pretty pretty city isn't it it is i tell you what my sister got married there

18:19i was always jealous of claire that sounds very very lovely i was just curious though which way is

18:24the train to boston the love of my life is leaving in two minutes well why didn't you say so it's track

18:28number five straight out those double doors you can't miss it okay thank you but it's leaving right

18:32now you're never gonna make it we'll see about that hey cut that felt great too right okay i feel

18:40so confident after that portion of this scene but the next piece has a lot of moving parts which means

18:46a lot more room for mistakes all aboard the finding mr christmas finale all aboard all right we're

18:54gonna do a quick walk through for the next part so follow me gentlemen part two of the scene is the

19:00lead guy running down the platform trying to catch up with his leading lady and then jonathan's there

19:07announcing the train leaving i have to ask him to hold on and then you go off before that we have

19:14some luggage that flies down on the ground jump jump a ladder that i have to dodge and then run through

19:23the city banner it's a lot be here for the line of that love you can drift a little bit but you can't

19:29drift too far back or we lose you off the camera completely okay okay roll with it you're gonna have

19:37to jump that thing sell all the things okay you're gonna do it you're gonna nail it okay let's do it

19:41there's a lot going on there's the train there's smoke there's props there's backgrounds it's starting to

19:49become super real and the nerves are starting to hit until he's a little nervous i can tell he's in

19:55his head a little bit coming up if i don't tell you now i'm afraid i'll oh what could you possibly say

20:01to me that would change anything oh no hold your train i just need a moment yes it's action but also

20:07you're in love hey watch where you're going pal

20:14last call for the finale of finding mr christmas and action

20:31hey hey watch where you're going pal i apologize sir the love of my life is about to leave a train out of here

20:37i've been there before my friend you go get your girl fair hall just a moment i just need a moment

20:45good job angel great that's a lot um okay so yes it's intense yes it's action but also you're in love

20:53i want to feel that joy that intensity but in a way that's like a romance movie not an action movie

20:58got it got it okay all right camera's up and action

21:10sorry garrett jody dad tell me love i'm sorry hey watch where you're going pal

21:18sir sir my apologies the love of my life is about to put a train out of here i've been there my friend

21:23you go get your car hold on sir hold that train i just need one moment

21:30kids these days oh cut angel oh my gosh way to go give it up for angel yes i am so relieved that we

21:41got two takes i feel proud for my work all right we're setting to our next competitor russner my heart

21:49is pounding through my chest i think this is the first time in the entire competition that i've

21:54felt this nervous all right we set and camera set and action

22:03all right hey watch where you're going pal the love of my life is about to board a train out of

22:17here i've been there my friend go get your gal last call for the 215 to boston sure hold the train i just

22:23need a moment oh and cut cut great great job pretty good pretty good let's reset right away

22:35no one's ever stopped a train for me no one make a bigger physical leap over that even though it's

22:40not that hard to do if you sell that physically it's going to be a lot more fun it's going to amp

22:45up the twist if that thing gets wrapped up in you and you're sorry i'm in love it was great it's

22:50great let's go again okay rolling camera and action action sorry oh my goodness i'm in love sorry hey

23:07hey watch where you're going pal my the love of my life is about to board the train i've been there

23:12before my friend what are you waiting for go get your girl hold them on for the 215 to boston sure

23:17all the train i just need a moment

23:23okay cut how'd that feel that was great how'd that feel like right that felt like out of breath

23:28everything was moving you didn't even really have to act because you're so in it all right resetting

23:32to our next competitor all right correct make this thing happen it's ten times anything we've

23:38done to this point so far i'm doing everything i can to not let that overwhelm me camera start and

23:46action

23:58hey hey watch where you're going pal the love of my life is about to board a train i'm so sorry i've been

24:02there before my friend go get your girl oh hold your train i just need a moment oh nothing ever

24:10changes in loveland thank god great couple tweaks that one was feeling very intense okay remember this

24:17is a romance do you remember there's there's joy in this it felt a little too action movie for me

24:22okay what's up and action

24:34i'm so sorry i have to find her hey watch where you're going pal i'm so sorry the love of my life

24:39is about to board a train i've been there before my friend you go get your girl hold the train i just

24:44made a moment always the same in loveland that was great yeah it's cut boom boom

25:02knocking dead brother this is it this is the last part of the scene where the guy has to go and

25:09and try to catch the girl and you get to kiss the leading lady look at this look it's amazing hi

25:18oh yeah i'm fine thank you so on action they're going to be stepping into the train i need you to

25:25in a dashing debonair gentleman way be able to romantic way take her and spin her and then do-si-do

25:34you're now on this mark and then let her know how you feel she will lead that hug and then into the

25:39kiss okay cool you got this nice show me you done oh it's a good tip all right everyone to first

25:46positions please jonathan are you gonna yell all aboard um yes okay she's good to know and action

25:57ali wait how did you even find me if i explained all that you'd think i'm crazier than i already am

26:04all aboard i have to go wait wait i beg you hear me out look i

26:18if i don't tell you now i'm afraid i'll i'll

26:22what could you possibly say to me that would change anything that i love you

26:26but i'm sure of one thing when you feel something as beautiful as love it will stop at nothing to keep

26:35it and cut great job guys couple of notes coming in rustin he knew he should have switched spots with

26:59aaron do-si-do right there and he didn't do it and that threw him off and then he had to get back

27:02into it that was clunky clunky physically kind of move closer you need this chance to really look her

27:10in the eyes with those words and tell her how you feel does that make sense yes great that scene didn't

27:16go exactly how i had hoped i've really fallen short of what i have to offer i'm going to really have

27:21to step up this last part of it if i have any chance of being crowned mr christmas coming up a couple

27:30tweaks more of the energy at the top it went a little too sad i love you the next mr christmas is

27:44rustin really hasn't had a misstep in like the acting portion but he's got another take you do it

27:50we'll see how he does action allie wait how did you even find me if you knew

28:00you'd think i'm crazier than you probably already do look i am sorry but i have to go i beg you hear me

28:10out i'm afraid if i don't say it now that well i'm afraid i'll what could you possibly say that would

28:20change anything for me but i love you what but i know this

28:29if you feel something as beautiful as love you'll suffer nothing to keep it

28:58great job wow that i love you was very very powerful that was great all right man one more

29:07my first take for my last one i came in a little hot but this is the most important moment and i need

29:17to focus on winning aaron back action wait ally wait how did you even find me if i told you that you

29:26think i'm crazier than you already probably do oh the mom i've got to go no ally wait please

29:37hear me out if i don't get the chance to say this i fear that i'll never be able to get to

29:41what could you possibly say to me that would change i love you ally now if there's one thing that i'm sure

29:48of it's that finding something as beautiful as love you'll stop it nothing to keep it

29:57could you ever forget

30:18a couple tweaks bring me a little bit more of that excited energy at the top the moment before

30:23you just ran through that sign told them to hold the train you need that little moment before okay

30:27great let's do the man action wait ally wait

30:32how did you even find me if i told you that you'd think i'm crazier than you probably already do

30:38all i'm on look i'm sorry but i have to go no i i beg you ally wait please

30:45hear me out if i don't get the chance to tell you this i fear that i'll never be able to what could

30:49you possibly say to me that would change i love you you what i love you and i hate that this is how

30:56i have to tell you for the first time and it's definitely not the way that you deserve to hear it but

30:59now there's one thing that i know for sure it's that finding something as beautiful as love you'll

31:05stop at nothing to keep it could you ever forgive me

31:13i love you too

31:23cut great job guys it was incredible working alongside erin thank you bravo well done she looked

31:33at me and she has those beautiful blue eyes and instantly i could feel that connection both

31:38takes both were wonderful thank you yeah there's literally nothing else i can do at this point

31:43except hope for the best that's the perfect angel on the board

31:48erin i'm excited me too have fun yeah what do you love in life besides being on set i just ask

31:55everybody just to connect oh my dog i love my dog i have animals too i love my two puppies

32:00great cool two puppies yes great we're gonna bring that love into the scene all right thank you good

32:05question and action holly wait what are you doing here how did you even find me if i explain all of

32:15that you would think i was crazier than you probably already do i i have to go just just hear me out what

32:25could you possibly say that would change anything that i love you you what i love you when someone feels

32:33something beautiful as love you will stop at nothing to keep it

32:58god very nice guys the hat the hat off that smart i need you to play the emotion a little bit more

33:06it went a little too into the sad we want people to be cheering for that kiss rather than like

33:12worried that if you're okay sound good sounds good okay thank you awesome and action holly wait

33:23how did you even find me if i explain all of that you would think i was crazier than what you're

33:30already now i really have to go i beg you

33:36if i don't tell you now i fear i'll never get a chance to tell you what could you possibly say

33:44that would change anything i love you ali if there's one thing that i am sure of is that when

33:52you feel something as beautiful as love you will stop at nothing to keep it

34:06oh my gosh

34:09yeah that's how you do a scene cut yeah yes i feel like i nailed the second take i didn't get emotional

34:18but i still brought that vulnerability so i feel pretty good about it three leading men before

34:24lunch huh that sounds fun it's a living that was what stars look like doing a scene from a hallmark

34:34movie that was incredible they did a great job they're all so talented they're all so charming they

34:40were lovely to work with all good kissers i might add there you go i mean it needs to be mentioned

34:46aaron what was it like working with rustin so confident grounded it felt like he really knew

34:52what he was after with rustin this was actually the first time we saw rustin falter in a way but

34:59he recovered from that charms you with that smile though he lands he lands on screen he takes his mark

35:05yeah and you're just drawn in you want to watch absolutely that's an actor let's talk about craig

35:10craig is a breath of fresh air he was so so focused and present i could see the sparkle in craig's eyes

35:18he was the only one that i thought brought a little dose of comedy to those scenes i sometimes

35:23wanted to feel a little more vulnerability from him that's a place i would push and i will say though

35:28when he was on screen i was like leading leading man yeah absolutely let's talk about angel what was

35:34it like working with angel angel was so present and vulnerable and emotionally available he really

35:42brought something special to the scene he really wasn't afraid to go there if you go straight to

35:48emotion and crying and that like kind of welling up it makes the scene about you and not about the

35:54partnership and that i think is one thing that angel needs to work on yes we have a tough decision to make

35:59to be honest i could see all of them taking home the crown but there can only be one there can only

36:05be one mr christmas and we have to make that decision right now

36:19my heart is pounding through my chest i want to be a hallmark leading man because

36:23i want that community this is my purpose i don't know whether i'm coming or going

36:28i'm replaying 10 years of acting in my head i feel like my heart is going to explode if i win mr

36:34christmas i will be the happiest man alive hello gentlemen welcome to the finale of finding mr

36:42christmas you made it through all the challenges and the lessons that we threw at you on this journey

36:48towards becoming hallmark's next leading man hallmark leading men capture the hearts of viewers at home

36:54and you have all captured our hearts in this competition you're exactly where you're supposed

37:01to be it was a pleasure for me to get to work with you and i'm truly so excited to see what comes in the

37:07future for all of you in person you walk in a room and you light it up but on camera it is times a

37:12thousand to end i'm just so proud of you i'm looking at three leading men right now in front of me in

37:18today's final star quality challenge you all made your own unique choices and you sunk right into your

37:24characters but as you know only one of you will leave here with a leading role in a hallmark christmas

37:30movie and be crowned mr christmas
