Justin Bieber got Booed at the 2014 Canada Juno Awards. He was accepting the Fan Choice Award. Fellow winner Serena Ryder did her best to defend him.

00:00So you know that whole saying where Canadians are the nicest people in the

00:08world? Well, they're not really being so nice to Justin Bieber. The guy couldn't

00:12even catch a break in his own country after winning the Fan Choice Award at

00:15Canada's Juno Awards over the weekend. I guess some people in the audience

00:19didn't really approve of the results.

00:21And the Juno goes to...

00:23Justin Bieber!

00:30Of course, this was his fourth time winning the award, so clearly there are

00:34some people up there that are Team Bieber, and one of them is fellow Canadian Serena

00:39Ryder. After winning her own Juno for Artist of the Year, Serena gave a

00:43surprising shout-out to the Biebs in her speech.

00:45I really think that Justin Bieber is an amazing musician and that he deserves

00:50every bit of that award because he's been working his ass off his entire life and we

00:55need to support how awesome he is. I think he's great.

00:58That's the nicest thing anyone's said about Bieber in the longest time.

01:01Anyway, Bieber wasn't at the award show, but he did thank his fans on Twitter.

01:05And to anyone hoping that those rumors about Justin retiring are true, sorry.
