Transcript
00:00It looks like Harrison Ford's injury on the set of Star Wars Episode 7 is a little more serious than we thought.
00:06I got a bad feeling about this.
00:08Initially, it was reported that the original Han Solo broke his ankle when a hydraulic door closed on his leg.
00:14Now, his rep revealed that Ford actually suffered a broken leg.
00:21But don't worry guys, the rep also confirmed that the 71-year-old actor had a successful surgery and will begin rehab shortly.
00:27Everything's perfectly alright now. We're fine. We're all fine here now. Thank you. How are you?
00:32So, what does this mean for his role in the film?
00:34Well, when the news of his injury first broke, word was he'd be out for about two months.
00:39I feel terrible.
00:40Okay, I don't know about you guys, but it seems like it would take a lot longer to heal from a leg injury, even if you're Indiana Jones.
00:46You know, sometimes I amaze even myself.
00:49But according to Ford's son Ben, J.J. Abrams would possibly opt to shoot the actor from the waist up for a short time until he is able to move on his feet.
00:58Those guys must really be desperate.
01:00Plus, other reports suggest that Ford is anxious to get back to work and will do so when he damn well pleases.
01:06So far, it doesn't seem like his injury has affected the shooting schedule too much.
01:10As of now, the studio is sticking to its December 2015 release date.
01:14I'm Brian Corsetti. Stay tuned to ENTV for all your entertainment news.
