00:00You want a coffee or anything?
00:02Uh, no. No, thanks. I'm okay.
00:04I, uh, I just wanted to check in and see how Rocco was doing.
00:10Well, he's at school, and he was in such a rush, he actually even left his tablet.
00:15But how did he see him this morning? Like he was still pissed at me?
00:21I mean, he wasn't overly chatty, but he did see him in a slightly better mood.
00:26Oh, yeah?
00:26Yeah. I don't want to jinx it, but maybe things are looking up.
00:32I hope that's work-related.
00:57I hope that's good.
01:07Hey, you're not, uh, dressed yet. I thought I was taking you home to rest up.
01:13And while that was a really generous offer, there's been a change of plans.
01:18Jack, it's Nina. Listen, my daughter's trial starts in half an hour. Did you take care of that problem for me?
01:34Well, what is the holdup? It needs to happen now. My daughter's life and future depend on it.
01:40I need to go. Get me updated.
01:45Wow. Conspire much?
01:51Okay, here you go.
01:54What do you got?
01:55Herbal tea.
01:56I know you're stressed. I thought it might help.
02:00A little too far gone for that.
02:02Last-minute notes?
02:04Just editing some things on my opening statement.
02:07Mom, you have rehearsed your opening statement hundreds of times. I've heard it. It's perfect.
02:11Yeah, well, it can't be perfect enough. I don't have to tell you what's at stake here, right?
02:16I know. Future access to Scout.
02:18Yeah. And also Willow's freedom.
02:24Are you sure I look okay? Alexis told me to wear neutral, subdued colors, but I'm worried I overdid it.
02:30I think you hit the tone perfectly.
02:32I don't know.
02:32Hey.
02:35The jury's going to take one look at you, and they're going to see exactly what I see.
02:40What's that?
02:41A beautiful, kind, innocent woman.
02:48Good morning, Tracy.
03:14You're very chipper, considering what lies ahead.
03:20I'm just trying to stay positive.
03:22You go for a walk?
03:23I did. I actually went to the crypt to talk to your grandmother.
03:30Alan and Lila got the cold shoulder, huh?
03:32Not at all. I see them all the time, but I just figured that your grandmother would be the one who would be most concerned about today.
03:40So I wanted to reassure her that I am going to do everything I can to protect you in court.
03:50That's assuming I need protection.
03:53Don't you?
03:53You just need to be patient.
04:00Oh, that's not my best event.
04:03None of us is going to meddle in that particular event, but I do think if you just give Rocco some space, I bet he'll come around.
04:12Gio came to my, um, Anna's office last night, talking truce.
04:19Well, why wouldn't you start with that? Gio, he came to you?
04:22Yeah, yeah. He'd want us to get along for Rocco's sake.
04:27Considering everything that's happened, that was really big of him.
04:31Also, I, uh, I invited him here to do all the tree stuff with us.
04:38I hope that's okay with you.
04:41Mm-hmm.
04:43I'm on condition.
04:45You pick out the tree, you figure out a way to get it here, you wrangle it into the stand, and...
04:51That's a lot of stuff, but I mean, the lights, too?
04:56And you put on the lights.
04:57Mm-hmm.
04:59Fine.
05:02You're welcome.
05:04I'm all for this.
05:06Rocco would love to get time with you.
05:09Yeah, that's... that's a little.
05:12And after the whole break-in debacle, Rocco deserves a nice, quiet Christmas.
05:19Surrounded by family.
05:21Of course it's work-related.
05:23Great. Let me see it.
05:24That is a blatant invasion of privacy.
05:26Not if you're being honest.
05:27Ever heard of doctor-patient confidentiality?
05:29But you're not a doctor.
05:31At the moment, you're a ward clerk.
05:33I know.
05:35And you just love throwing that in my face, don't you?
05:37We have a policy about not using cell phones for personal use while on duty.
05:42Oh, okay.
05:43As if you're never on your phone.
05:44I have kids.
05:45So, because I don't, and I'm just a ward clerk, it's okay to discriminate against me?
05:53Wow.
05:53Okay, good to know.
05:55Hey, Britt.
05:56I have that letter of recommendation.
06:00Unless you are in the middle of something more important.
06:03No, no, I was just, uh, I was just about to apologize to Nurse Baldwin for being on my phone.
06:09I'm so sorry about that.
06:10I appreciate the apology.
06:15Thank you for going to bat for me.
06:18This will go a long way towards getting my medical license back.
06:20It was very kind of you to offer for me to do my bed rest at home.
06:32And you agreed.
06:35Trina was in the room.
06:37But now that I've had time to think about it, I'm just not sure that it's the best idea.
06:43Look, I know things have been strained between us lately.
06:45But we can set that aside to make sure you and the baby are healthy.
06:53Can't we?
06:54But that's the thing.
06:55I just think it'll be less stressful for me if I stay here one more night.
07:00Okay, but then what?
07:01Then I go back, back to the Metro Court.
07:04You'd be alone.
07:05In my room, maybe.
07:07But there's an entire staff there.
07:09Okay.
07:10That staff can't take care of you the way I can.
07:13I promise you.
07:13If I need any help, I'm going to give you a call.
07:18I just truly think it's for the best.
07:20For me, the baby, and you.
07:24Okay.
07:28You just let me know if you need anything, okay?
07:30Okay.
07:32You're going to Willow's trial, right?
07:36Yeah, I was planning to head that way once I made sure you were settled in.
07:40I would really appreciate it if you kept me updated.
07:42Uh, yeah.
07:45I'll do that.
07:45I'll, uh, I'll keep you posted.
07:48It's going to drive me insane wondering if you or I get thrown under the bus.
07:54I have no idea what you're talking about, Carly.
07:56I wasn't conspiring.
07:58I haven't done anything wrong.
07:59Maybe not, but it sounded like to me that you were making plans to help Willow go on the run.
08:04That is absurd.
08:06I was asking a friend to run some positive press about Willow.
08:11That's it.
08:13Well, having a plane fueled and ready to go wouldn't be such a bad idea.
08:17I mean, she is about to be convicted of attempted murder.
08:19Willow is innocent.
08:21Well, the evidence says otherwise.
08:22If I were Willow, I would plead guilty and throw myself on the mercy of the court.
08:26You would love that, wouldn't you?
08:28Wouldn't hate it.
08:28Yeah, you wouldn't, because then you wouldn't have to worry about the real truth coming out.
08:34That Michael is the one that shot Drew.
08:39Or maybe it was you, Carly.
08:41Okay.
08:43Everyone knows that Willow is guilty.
08:45All right.
08:46Hell, I don't even blame her for shooting the bastard.
08:48No one does, including you.
08:50But if she claims that there were extenuating circumstances, she may get a reduced sentence.
08:55My daughter's going to be exonerated, and when she is, she and her children are finally going to be reunited.
09:01A girl can dream.
09:02Trust me, Carly.
09:04That's never going to happen.
09:05The prosecution thinks that they have a slam dunk on their hands.
09:09But their evidence isn't as solid as they think.
09:14The thought of Scout being cut out of our lives again, I honestly don't think I can take it.
09:26I know.
09:26And if you don't get Willow exonerated, then Drew's just going to enforce a restraining order.
09:30And the person that's going to suffer the most is Scout.
09:34Okay, Mom, I believe in you.
09:35And if Drew and Willow want to win this case, then they just have to believe in you, too.
09:40Easier said than done.
09:42You got this.
09:43All right, I'm going to go and let you do your...
09:45Come in.
09:50I'll see you later.
09:51Good luck, Willow.
09:54We should get to the courtroom.
09:56We're not quite ready yet.
09:58Why not?
09:58You should be fully prepared to win the case by now.
10:01I am.
10:03Your wife isn't.
10:08I wish that you'd never seen me outside of Drew's that night.
10:11I hate that you may have to purge yourself to protect me.
10:13You and me both.
10:18Tracy, I swear to you, I didn't shoot him.
10:19You know, usually I can tell when someone's lying to me, but you're like my father.
10:27There's a steeliness about you that makes you very hard to read, especially when you're hiding something.
10:32I'm not hiding anything.
10:35Why would I lie?
10:36Because the stakes are so high.
10:39It's not just about your freedom.
10:40It's about your children.
10:41And if you go to prison and not Willow, she gets custody.
10:45And now that she's married to Drew...
10:46It's not an option.
10:47Exactly.
10:49You will do anything you have to do to protect your family.
10:54Which includes getting on the stand and lying through your teeth.
10:59Luckily, I'm willing to do the same.
11:01So, what do you think?
11:08You crushed it, right?
11:09Crushed me, maybe.
11:10What?
11:12I mean, let's just say I have some notes.
11:14It's a solid first draft.
11:16Oh, no, I think you misunderstood.
11:18That's the draft.
11:20I already sent the letter to the medical board.
11:22No, you didn't.
11:23Yes, I did.
11:24You sent them this hatchet job?
11:25Excuse me.
11:27I spoke in glowing terms about your diagnostic ability,
11:32your surgical proficiency,
11:33your nearly encyclopedic knowledge of medicine.
11:37Thank you, but you made me sound like a robot.
11:39Cold, clinical.
11:41You didn't once praise my warm bedside manner
11:43or how my work elevates those around me.
11:45Well, I'm not gonna lie.
11:48Britt, you are an excellent doctor,
11:50but you are a notoriously less than excellent human being.
11:54And that's being generous.
11:56Oh, okay.
11:57This is a favor.
11:58Oh, yeah.
11:59Well, seeing that I didn't say anything
12:01about the horrible human stuff in the letter,
12:03then yeah, that's a favor.
12:04You sabotaged me.
12:05I did.
12:06No such thing.
12:06You know what?
12:08I should have known it would be stupid
12:09to try to do anything nice for you.
12:12You're welcome, by the way.
12:13I didn't say thank you.
12:14Shocking.
12:17Anyway, I don't need him
12:18as long as Agent Brennan comes through.
12:20Making friends and allies wherever you go, I see.
12:24I'm taking my break.
12:25Hang in there, little one.
12:34We're gonna be okay.
12:35If we can just get through this trial unscathed.
12:39Knock, knock.
12:42I hear congratulations are in order?
12:45Hey, Rocco.
12:58Thanks so much for your text.
13:01Tree decorating will be a nice distraction for Charlotte.
13:05Get her focused on something other than
13:06the Valentin nightmare for a couple of hours.
13:08Still no sign of him?
13:11Nothing.
13:14I can't tell you how nervous I was sending her to school,
13:16but I can't keep her home forever.
13:18No, you can't.
13:19Like I told you, we have squad cars all around the campus.
13:22Charlotte is safe.
13:24I gotta get going to the courthouse.
13:30Are you testifying at Willow's trial?
13:32Oh, yeah, because Anna's away on assignment.
13:34I get to be the one grilled by Alexis on the PCPD's investigation.
13:38Lucky you.
13:39Yeah.
13:41How about you?
13:41You, uh, covering the proceedings?
13:44Yep.
13:45Just, uh, you know,
13:46trying not to make me sound like a complete idiot.
13:51It's my job to report the facts.
13:52All right, I'll see you later.
13:58See ya.
13:58See ya.
13:58K.
14:27K, wait up.
14:28What are you doing here?
14:30I thought I should hear the case firsthand.
14:32You know?
14:36Since we were the only ones that night at Drew's,
14:39maybe we'll catch something about the shooter that other people won't.
14:42Maybe, but I can do that on my own.
14:44Drew expects me here for moral support.
14:46The reason you're so interested in the trial is,
14:48it's harder to explain.
14:51How about that I'm the world's clinkiest girlfriend?
14:55The kind that won't let her boyfriend go anywhere without her.
15:00Not even to a trial.
15:01Okay.
15:02Well, you will really have to sell that,
15:04because anyone who knows you knows how independent you are.
15:06I think I can make it convincing.
15:09You know, I am glad you showed up.
15:13And I like that we'll be working together now as a team.
15:15Yeah, me too.
15:16I think I can muster enough credibility to convince the jury that I did not see anything suspicious.
15:30Well, thank you.
15:33I appreciate you having my back.
15:38Isn't that my job?
15:40I not only inherited this house from Monica,
15:44I inherited her role as head of the family.
15:52And it's my job to keep the Quartermains together.
15:57It's a big responsibility.
15:58It is.
16:01And the jury is still out as to whether I am up to the task.
16:08But I owe it to Monica to try.
16:13Well, for what it's worth,
16:15I think my grandmother chose a worthy successor.
16:21I have no doubt that the family's in good hands.
16:29You told me I shouldn't testify.
16:30You shouldn't.
16:32Then what do I need to prepare for?
16:33You may not be up on that stand, but they're going to be watching you like a hawk.
16:37The whole jury will have their eyes on you.
16:40Every expression, your jaw clenching, anything that you do, they'll be seeing it.
16:45So how you conduct yourself on that stand is vital to proving your innocence.
16:49Okay, so then what does Willow need to know?
16:52What do we do?
16:53The ADA is going to drag your whole life out into the open.
16:57She's going to say horrible things about you, some true, some false.
17:01No matter how hurt or embarrassed or angry you get, you don't express it.
17:07So now I can't show any emotion.
17:09You can be sad about your children, but even then you don't overdo it.
17:14If you lose control in their courtroom, we're done.
17:17Right?
17:18It'll make you look unstable, and if you're unstable, then you're capable of shooting him.
17:22That's a really fine line to walk.
17:24You can do it.
17:25I have faith in you.
17:26Just don't lose sight of the goal.
17:28In order to be with Wiley and Amelia, you need to be a free one.
17:33You having a relationship with your kids is what this is all about, right?
17:36It's all I want.
17:38I will do whatever it takes to be with my children again.
17:48It's very generous of you to write that letter for Britt, even if she didn't appreciate it.
17:53Generous and stupid.
17:54No, generous and nice.
17:55I keep wondering if I made a mistake by vouching for her.
17:59I don't think so at all.
18:01But you can't stand Britt.
18:03Well, it doesn't change the fact that she's an excellent doctor.
18:06I fully support her efforts in getting her medical license back.
18:11You just don't want to be her supervisor anymore.
18:13I mean, that would be a bonus.
18:16Well, fingers crossed my letter did the trick, then.
18:19Well, convinced you to write that letter.
18:21Talking about not standing Britt.
18:22What the hell are you doing here?
18:25In Port Charles or your hospital room?
18:28What?
18:29Portia, I missed you.
18:31Along with all my other fellow co-workers at GH.
18:34So I decided to take a break from my travels abroad and pop in for a visit.
18:39You ran through all that money, didn't you?
18:41That has to be a record.
18:43Even for you.
18:44Okay.
18:45A, finance shaming is not cool.
18:48And B, I was hoping to keep this civil.
18:51Brad, you blackmailed me.
18:53And then sold me out to Drew for a huge payday.
18:57And what?
18:58You came back after, what, seven months?
19:01Six.
19:02I'm sorry.
19:03I bet you are sorry for blowing through all that money.
19:06Not just that.
19:07Can't we start fresh?
19:08We cannot, no.
19:10I don't know what you want, but you're not getting it from me.
19:13You have nothing on me.
19:15Not anymore.
19:16So please, just feel free to leave.
19:18Well, maybe there's no physical evidence.
19:22But I still have quite the tale to share with Dr. Randolph and the hospital board.
19:29What's going on?
19:30Dr. Robinson is on bed rest.
19:32You need to leave.
19:33I didn't mean to.
19:34Go!
19:36Now.
19:36Fine.
19:38I'll be back.
19:40Not on my watch.
19:50Is that Brad Cooper?
19:54I recognize him from your description.
19:57He does give off weasel vibes.
19:58Because he is a weasel.
19:59But you, you need to really be careful around him.
20:04I'm not scared of him.
20:05You should be.
20:07He has this incredible talent for sniffing out secrets.
20:09So if he finds out that we're involved, it could be disastrous for both of us.
20:15Can I help you?
20:31Yeah.
20:32You can stay the hell away from my son.
20:34Hey, you, uh, need anything from me before we get started?
20:43No, I think we're in good shape.
20:44And, um, thanks again for pulling all of that traffic footage.
20:47We now nearly have a complete video progression of Willow driving from the hospital to Drew's house.
20:53Yeah, I gotta admit, I wasn't sure we had the right person, but that's the second alibi she's lied about.
20:57Yeah, big mistake on her part.
20:59And, um, my job just got a whole lot easier.
21:12Hey.
21:12Hey.
21:13Oh, how you holding up?
21:15I'm, uh, feeling confident.
21:17Justice will be served.
21:18Yeah.
21:19Well, let's hope so.
21:20Yeah.
21:20Have you seen Willow?
21:22I haven't.
21:23I wouldn't be surprised if she made a run for it.
21:27Willow, finally, you're here.
21:29Can we talk to each other in private?
21:31We don't have a lot of time.
21:32It's not gonna take long.
21:33There's something that you should know.
21:34Thank God.
21:35Let's go, guys.
21:36Court's almost in session.
21:37Sorry.
21:38Mom, it'll have to wait.
21:39No, Willow, I...
21:53I...
21:53I didn't realize that you were back in town.
21:55Yeah, I just, uh, I just got in today.
21:59I would have given you a heads up, but I didn't know if you want to hear from me.
22:04It would have been fine.
22:06Good to know.
22:09So what brings you back?
22:11Uh, you know, traveling the world can be exhausting.
22:14I just need a little break.
22:16Yeah, I get that.
22:17Yeah, uh, how have you been?
22:19Good.
22:19Good.
22:20Work's been keeping me busy.
22:22Yeah.
22:22Too busy for, uh, personal life?
22:26I managed to juggle both.
22:29Oh, does that, uh, does that mean you're seeing someone?
22:32If I remember correctly, you were starting to date some guy when I left town?
22:37Uh, Marco.
22:38So, and yes, we are still a thing.
22:40Or, actually, more than a thing.
22:43We've moved in together.
22:46There was nothing suspicious about me giving Brad the boot.
22:50As far as everyone at GH is concerned, you're my boss, and we're friends.
22:56So, of course I'd stick up for you.
22:58No, you're right.
22:59You're right.
22:59I just get a little paranoid when it comes to Brad.
23:03He's got a gift for stressing me out.
23:05Well, since paranoia slash stress is the last thing you need, let's change the subject.
23:10Yes, please, let's.
23:12When is Curtis coming to take you home?
23:14He already came by.
23:16I told him that I changed my mind.
23:19I asked Dr. Navarro if I could stay here another night.
23:22Here?
23:23Mm-hmm.
23:24Yeah, and then I'm going to go back to my room at the Metroport.
23:26Or we could stick with the original plan and you could come stay with me at the cabin.
23:38Hey, sweetheart.
23:40I didn't know you were coming.
23:41Yeah, I didn't have anything big to do today,
23:43so I thought I'd just keep kind company.
23:45Did you get Mom settled in at home?
23:49That's not happening.
23:50There's been a change of plans.
23:54I'm right behind you, so if you need a pick-me-up or anything, just turn around, okay?
24:00I love you.
24:07Here we go.
24:09All rise.
24:10Court is now in session.
24:11The Honorable Judd Sullivan presiding.
24:20I'm in the middle of my shift, so if you're not here as a patient...
24:23You have been texting with my son behind my back.
24:27Hey, Rocco.
24:28Thanks so much for your text.
24:29It's been a lot to me.
24:30Glad it worked out.
24:31Let's meet up soon.
24:33The horror.
24:33This isn't funny, Brit.
24:36But your hysteria over a nothing text kind of is.
24:39That was a private message.
24:40I know, because you aren't supposed to contact him.
24:43Rocco reached out to me.
24:44Am I just supposed to ignore it?
24:45Yes.
24:45That's ridiculous, Lulu.
24:46He's a child, Brit.
24:47You're the adult here.
24:49Rocco has nearly grown.
24:50He is old enough to decide who he wants in his life.
24:53You keep this up, you'll push him away.
24:56Parenting advice, really?
24:58Do I truly threaten you that much?
25:00You are a selfish liar who destroys everything you touch.
25:03I will not let Rocco be next.
25:05I am blocking your number from his phone.
25:08And trust me, that is just the beginning.
25:15Good morning.
25:17The court calls the case of the people of the state of New York versus Willow Tate.
25:22I trust both sides are ready to begin?
25:24The people are ready, Your Honor.
25:26The defense is ready, Your Honor.
25:29D.A. Turner, you may make your opening statement.
25:38Wow.
25:39Living in domestic bliss, huh?
25:43Congrats.
25:45Where can I send the housewarming gift?
25:48You don't need to send anything.
25:50But we're at Windermere with his dad.
25:53Oof.
25:54Doesn't it cramp your style?
25:56Are they your father or the Fortress?
25:58Both.
25:59We make it work.
26:02You're a good sport.
26:06Oh, I'm sorry.
26:08A patient needs me.
26:11It's good seeing you, Brad.
26:12You too.
26:13When I first pitched the idea, you seemed excited about staying at the cabin.
26:26I was.
26:27Oh, it truly sounds ideal.
26:29But, um, if Trina and Curtis were to find out, it would be really tricky for me to explain.
26:37No.
26:38Oh.
26:39You don't have to know that I'm staying there, too.
26:43We could say that I offered up my place and you accept it because it's peaceful and quiet there.
26:50But in reality, you'd be there with me, too.
26:56Oh.
26:57That's okay.
26:58I'd really like to take care of you and the baby.
27:03After all, there is a chance it's mine.
27:14That's really tempting.
27:17I'd say yes.
27:17Hey, checking in to see if you got my earlier text.
27:27Let me know.
27:41Miss anything?
27:42No.
27:43I was about to give her up an excuse.
27:45Are you okay?
27:46Why?
27:47Let me seem a little agitated.
27:49I'll tell you about it later.
27:52Good morning, ladies and gentlemen.
27:54I know you're all very busy people, so I'm not going to waste your time with a sales pitch.
27:59I'm just going to give you the facts.
28:01The PCPD has gathered a mountain of evidence to make it undeniably clear that Willow Tate
28:07had motive, means, and opportunity to shoot Congressman Cain.
28:12The defendant's attorney will try her best to distract you from that evidence.
28:16Ms. Davis will paint the heart-tugging portrait of a mother who has been separated from her children,
28:24who is nothing more than a victim herself.
28:27Ms. Davis will also try to throw a lot of other suspects at the wall in hopes that one of them sticks just enough.
28:34But let's get back to the facts, starting with motive, this man seduced her away from her husband.
28:46Because of Congressman Cain, Ms. Tate's family was torn apart, and she lost custody of her children.
28:54This led to Ms. Tate suffering not one, but two psychotic breaks,
28:59one of which took place after learning that the congressman had slept with her own mother
29:05while he was courting her.
29:11Then, on the night of the shooting, Ms. Tate found out that the judge assigned to her custody hearing had been murdered,
29:18which would mean that any potential reunion with her children would be delayed.
29:24Any mother would have snapped.
29:28And Ms. Tate did.
29:32There's motivation.
29:34As for means, the weapon was taken from the estate where the defendant once lived,
29:40and after the shooting, it was found among her belongings at her temporary residence.
29:46As for opportunity, we have footage of Ms. Tate driving from her place of work
29:53to the congressman's house at the time of the shooting.
29:59By the time this trial is over, the facts will leave you with only one reasonable conclusion.
30:05On the night of September 2nd of this year, Willow Tate drove to congressman Kane's house,
30:15shot him not once, but twice in the back,
30:18and left him for dead.
30:22Portia, I'm coming to check on you.
30:44Portia, I'm coming to check on you.
30:46Brad Cooper?
30:47As I live and breathe.
30:52Yeah.
30:53I heard you were doing both those things, but then I thought, no.
31:16No.
31:17No, that couldn't possibly be true, because my best friend in the world wouldn't have let
31:23me think that she was dead for two whole years.
31:26I am so sorry.
31:27The last thing I wanted was to hurt anyone, but especially not you.
31:37Is there any way that you could forgive me?
31:43I'll consider it if you watch the Oscars with me in March, including the red carpet coverage.
31:58My fridge is stocked with Rocky Road ice cream in preparation.
32:04Then I guess all is forgiven.
32:05Really?
32:06Come here, you heartless skank.
32:18ADA Turner was right about one thing.
32:21Back in September, Miss Tate's life was a mess.
32:28Her family was fractured, and she was unable to see her children.
32:32But it was not because of Drew Kane.
32:35It was because of her ex-husband and the father of her children, Michael Corinthos.
32:44Mr. Corinthos was very angry, and he was jealous because his wife had left him for another man.
32:54And to add insult to injury, that other man was his uncle.
33:01So he retaliated.
33:05And he retaliated in a very bad way.
33:10He stripped his ex of her children.
33:13Now, I'm sure you can imagine how devastating that would be for any mother, right?
33:21And it was devastating for Willow Tate.
33:26And she did put some of the blame at the congressman's feet.
33:30But it was brief because long before he was shot, they had well reconciled.
33:35In fact, they were just married this past Thanksgiving.
33:41So, then you ask yourself, why, right?
33:46Why in the world would this woman then shoot the man she loves?
33:52Her future husband.
33:54Why?
33:58She didn't.
34:00She wouldn't.
34:01The only reason she's sitting in this courtroom today is because the PCPD and the district attorney's office were desperate.
34:09They had a congressman who was shot and they needed to find a suspect fast, so they focused solely on Willow Tate.
34:17They rushed to judgment at the exclusion of everybody else.
34:21I mean, there are suspects, unlike Miss Tate, who have actual motive to want to kill Drew Kane.
34:32But they rushed to judgment.
34:35They did.
34:37My client, Willow Tate, she's innocent.
34:43And I relish the opportunity to prove that to you.
