00:05:02here the first five weeks i think that would be different like i think all of us were put under a
00:05:08lot more pressure and challenges that we had to overcome i feel like gina had one of the biggest
00:05:13obstacles of anyone in this room you all and you all made her life a living hell she overcame that
00:05:22walked out on that stage and won overall solo audrey you can't tell me that you didn't rise to that
00:05:28occasion gina beat you that first competition i saw the look on your face when you did the math
00:05:34it's not just audrey who's needed an extra push this season not one of these girls has lived up to
00:05:39my expectations this week is nationals it's the final competition of the season and their last chance
00:05:45to show me that they are not replaceable it looks like no one really sees this opportunity i have a lot of
00:05:52reconsidering and thinking about if we go forward and we do this again who belongs here and who doesn't
00:06:01at this point there's about three and a half of you that i would even consider having back on this team
00:06:08almost close at half she was looking right at me
00:06:14so you were actually fourth on the pyramid so it would make sense that you were that half that she's
00:06:20talking about yeah but i don't want to be that i know so what are you going to do about it i'm
00:06:25going to prove this glow wrong at national like you're like talking like running on your words you
00:06:30got to be more articulate this week we have two solos the first solo we already know is going to gina
00:06:42gina you've very clearly earned yourself as a solo at nationals thank you
00:06:49and the second solo is going to audrey
00:06:58gina your solo will be called the monster audrey your solo will be called seeing red
00:07:04kaylee's in town this week to choreograph for you you know i'm easy on you sometimes that prevents me
00:07:10from pushing you to your full potential but i know kaylee's not going to hold back on you
00:07:14and you better be prepared for that girl kaylee does go really hard on me and i think she's
00:07:18going to work me until i break i mean i do think her choreography is a little better than her mom's
00:07:23so since it's an even playing field right now and someone didn't have a solo for a year and a half
00:07:29i have a very very very good chance gina's going down this week i am putting the most powerful dance i
00:07:37have ever choreographed on stage all eight of you will be dancing this week however some of you will
00:07:47be dancing longer than others i challenged audrey and gina to go out and give me the performance
00:07:58i needed to choose a lead for this group dance this week i think i definitely proved that i can
00:08:03lead at nationals i think throughout the season through a solo and the group dance and i think
00:08:07i've proven that no matter what the director of the competition texted me after you danced and said
00:08:14oh they're all backstage crying and i said they should be and you know what she said yep they should
00:08:22what audrey i wasn't crying backstage it was only lilla and gina okay i never cry
00:08:27you were tearing up when you walked back and you were saying how you messed up on the turns
00:08:36you were late for what it's okay well she got off stage and then she started to cry i was just
00:08:43tearing up i was upset with my performance and everything but that doesn't mean that i can't get
00:08:51upset like you can be upset and stuff but i don't think you should be able to show that on your face
00:08:55because when you come on stage the judges still can see you can still hear you i mean as far as
00:08:59i'm concerned basing a decision off of this week none of you blew me away
00:09:08but when you're making a big decision for nationals of like and you want to win
00:09:12do you have to consider the entire season i don't have to consider anything tammy okay fine
00:09:17the assignment was who was earning it this week
00:09:19it's not just about making mistakes in the choreography it's about the performance i've made
00:09:26a decision the lead of the dance is going to
00:09:33at least this time audrey versus gina will actually be on an even playing field spider whoa
00:09:38if she can pull it off she has gathered this lever it's because gina push her a lot
00:09:47moms i want you to go to one of the bags and i want you to write your kid's name on it
00:09:53okay i don't know what i would ever do ashlyn in my entire career this is the most important story i
00:10:01have ever told through dance and it's so important that these kids do this routine justice
00:10:19i've made a decision the lead of the dance is going to ashlyn
00:10:31i've given ashlyn chance after chance after chance and she's let me down each time but she's come
00:10:43really close ashlyn can cry we all know ashlyn can cry and ashlyn has an emotional connection to this
00:10:48story the only way we're going to beat these technical dancers in florida is to bring the most
00:10:54beautiful and compelling story to the stage and i think ashlyn can do that we have a close family member
00:11:00that was impacted by an overdose yeah it was sad because little did i know that one day that i saw
00:11:08him was the last day i would see him
00:11:14do you understand how serious this is you all have spent your entire childhood training for this
00:11:22moment regardless of what your moms might think i believe in each of you
00:11:27it needs to be the best thing you've ever done moms you can go kids stretch please
00:11:39remember the name of the group is body bags yeah this is the most intense story any of you will
00:11:44ever tell ashlyn you're starting on stage you're in the midst of something horrific there's body bags
00:11:51around you and your friends are dying so you have this gruesome discovery and this whole beginning is
00:11:59you acting you have to set the tone right from the minute you start moving the emotion has to come
00:12:06pouring out everyone is joining you and you're losing them one by one by one and you have no control
00:12:13over it and you're there trying to help your friends you're the last one left by the end of this dance
00:12:18i want you to bring yourself to tears if that's something you think you can do then you will sell
00:12:25this number the way that it needs to be sold oh my god this is like actually be the leader that's funny
00:12:36ashlyn doesn't do that the performers last week but still gave her the chance to be the leader for this
00:12:41thing so i mean it's every week like that being jealous not jealous ashlyn not performing in glow's
00:12:47eyes is still her performing better than everybody else so i think she's still putting her in these
00:12:53roles because of that miss low said this is ashlyn's story depends on ashlyn's performance
00:13:00i just feel like whole group dance is at a risk high risk i know actually cry a lot
00:13:08not on the stage do you think ashlyn can cry on this yeah i think she can i think you should really
00:13:14talk to her this time so that you can get her to cry and then that way she can get into character and
00:13:18like really perform this for the rest of us it's kind of funny to me that all of the moms are really
00:13:23upset that ashlyn's the lead this week but i think that glow doesn't have any faith in this group and
00:13:30she doesn't want to put my daughter as the lead for a possibly losing nationals dance honestly

00:13:45join audrey here oh god they're heavy once you die you go into the body bag and those of you who are
00:13:52not performing obviously will be dying off first so what you do in this dance is based on how you
00:14:01perform in rehearsal glow's going to be zipping the meat shop in a body bag yeah like the value do
00:14:10the quicker you get zipped up and the less you'll be dancing correct so the kids are gonna be
00:14:18in a body bag for upwards of a of a minute some of them yeah for at least it's kind of morbid
00:14:25it is morbid i'm not sure how much mina understand about this topic this story

00:23:19dance so if all the tricks in the dance were taken out what would the rest look like and right now

00:23:30gina you're doing a lyrical you're a monster but what you really want is for everyone to accept you
00:23:38even though you're a monster what's going to make this a little trickier for you is these

00:24:19will be more memorable if she can pull it off spider whoa are you okay that's what i was afraid of
00:24:29these fingers could be a blessing or a curse gina is a beautiful lyrical dancer but to stand out at
00:24:35nationals gina has to be extra strong and captivating if gina can embrace these hands she can beat audrey
00:24:42and every other dancer at this competition but if gina can't tell the story with all the help i've given
00:24:47her then i'm gonna have to really rethink her position on this team next season seven eight up

00:31:53that dancing can save lives
00:31:56and dancing can change someone's mind and change their decision.
