00:18Hey guys, it's Ali for Hollywood Life with your KarJenner Roundup.
00:21But before we begin, make sure you hit the sub like and bell button
00:24so you can stay up to date with us for all the latest.
00:27Also, instead of following me on Instagram,
00:29I want you to follow two incredible Black artists.
00:32Their names are Stormy Nesbitt and Nicholas Smith.
00:35We're going to link them in the comments.
00:37They are absolutely incredible.
00:38A lot of their works have gone viral this week, so I want you to check them out.
00:41I love them.
00:42To the KarJenner news, we're starting with the fallout of the Forbes article
00:45that accused Kylie Jenner of lying about her billionaire status.
00:49According to The Sun, Kylie is so furious and not taking Kris Jenner's calls.
00:53Now, this really worries Kris because she gets 10% of all of Kylie's deals.
00:58So she's worried that Kylie might cut her off.
01:00So tensions are high.
01:02Apparently, tensions are so high that Cody, the beauty conglomerate that has a majority stake in Kylie Cosmetics,
01:08is now under investigation.
01:10In a press release, it was revealed that investors called for a probe into Cody's affairs
01:15and wanted to see if the company and its executives were in violation of federal securities laws following the Forbes article.
01:24However, that's not stopping the company from possibly collaborating with Kim Kardashian.
01:30That's right.
01:30Bloomberg reports that Kim Kardashian, a.k.a. the KKW beauty founder,
01:35is in talks with Cody for a potential beauty deal.
01:39Keep you up to date on that.
01:40Now to what is important, how the Cardenners are using their platform to speak out about the racial injustices in America
01:47following the murder of George Floyd.
01:50Kendall Jenner shared a long message about the senseless and tragic death of George
01:54and the subsequent protests that followed.
01:57She urged herself and her followers to keep researching, reading, and educating yourself on how we can become better allies.
02:03She continued,
02:04I will never personally understand the fear and pain that the black community go through on a daily basis,
02:10but I know that nobody should have to live in constant fear.
02:13I acknowledge my white privilege and promise I will continue to educate myself on how I can help.
02:18Then yesterday, Kendall, along with her sisters Khloe, Kim, and Kylie,
02:22urged their followers to get out and vote in the primaries that happened in several states yesterday.
02:27Now despite her words, Kendall's Pepsi ad from 2017 has come back to haunt her.
02:31Recall the old ad showed Kendall handing out Pepsis during a demonstration,
02:36and the shared love of the soda brought everybody together.
02:41Still, I commend the Cardenners sisters for speaking out and using their platforms to help black voices be elevated
02:47when they need to be heard the most.
02:49Kim Kardashian's also stepping in, offering to pay the medical bills of a teenage girl
02:54who suffered gruesome injuries after protesting.
02:57The teenager's face was disfigured after being hit with a rubber bullet.
03:01Kim responded to the image going viral by tweeting,
03:04This is heartbreaking and so disturbing.
03:07Does anyone know how I can get in contact with her?
03:09I would love to help her with her medical care if she needs it.
03:12It's unclear whether Kim and the young victim have connected.
03:14Kim spoke out days ago about the death of George Floyd
03:17and revealed that she was infuriated and exhausted with the systemic racism that is plaguing the United States.
03:23She also encouraged her fans to go out and vote yesterday to create the change that they want to see.
03:29All right, guys, that is all we got for you today.
03:31Stay safe out there and remember that no lives will matter until black lives matter.
