00:00Okay, Spotify Wrapped has been and gone, but I would like to present to you Megan Markle Wrapped.
00:06That's right. We are going to break down Megan's year in just a few quick minutes and give you a whole host of highlights of everything she did this year.
00:15At least the things that we care about.
00:16The things that we care about, the biggest things that she did.
00:19And speaking of Spotify Wrapped being a social media sensation on Instagram, Megan returned to Instagram.
00:25She did indeed. She really kicked off 2025 with a kick in the teeth to journalists everywhere when she posted her very first Instagram in years.
00:38She waited until January 1 until half the world was hungover and then she said,
00:43Don't forget about me. And she of course did it because she had so much to promote this year.
00:49Speaking of that, she launched With Love Megan with Netflix. We got two seasons of that.
00:55And a holiday special.
00:56And a recent holiday special, which of course we tuned into.
00:59So it does seem like they kind of went hand in hand. She's back on Instagram and now she has this show.
01:05Well, everything went hand in hand because she relaunches Instagram and teases the launch of her brand,
01:11which was originally called American Riviera Orchard.
01:14Mouthful.
01:14Then it was kind of, oop, got a Netflix show. Then it was, nope, it's no longer American Riviera Orchard.
01:21It's now As Ever. Then it was kind of Netflix and As Ever launching simultaneously.
01:27And then we learned that Netflix was actually a backer on As Ever.
01:30And it was kind of this big symbiosis, money making partnership extraordinaire.
01:34As it turns out, As Ever has proven a lot more successful than Megan's Netflix show,
01:41which kind of started on a high, I think, as the entire world tuned in to be like,
01:47what's this going to be about?
01:47Yeah, is she the next Martha Stewart? We were wondering.
01:49Exactly.
01:49She's doing lifestyle stuff on this show.
01:51TLDR, she's not.
01:53It kind of spent a couple of days at the number one spot during its first season.
01:57And ever since then, it really hasn't featured in the top charts on Netflix.
02:02So TBD on whether we will see a With Love, Megan season three in 2026.
02:08But, you know, to be fair to her, she cranked out a lot of episodes within the year.
02:14So, you know, we've had plenty to talk about.
02:17And for that, I am grateful.
02:18And we saw the products for As Ever.
02:20She was selling honey, flower sprinkles, different stuff.
02:23We're sure she'll get into more of that as she continues to grow As Ever,
02:27which she has spoken out about wanting to do more and kind of find her way to navigate
02:31how to make the brand bigger.
02:33Quick blip also on this year's radar was her other, her second podcast.
02:38A new podcast.
02:39That had one season with Lemonada Media.
02:42Again, TBD, if we will see her on a podcast again.
02:47Right.
02:47You know, the word I would use to describe the majority of Megan's products this year
02:53has kind of been eh.
02:55Yeah, it's like she's trying to see what's going to work maybe or something.
02:59She's just testing the waters, kind of how it feels at least.
03:02But I will say her social schedule was top of the charts.
03:07That really could have its own Spotify wrapped by itself.
03:11She was attending everything.
03:14Celebrity events like Beyonce concert where who could forget Harry's ridiculous Western hat.
03:19Kind of sweaty too.
03:19She was at a Beyonce concert.
03:21They were at the Invictus Games.
03:22She was like, well, both of them were at Kris Jenner's birthday party at Jeff Bezos' house.
03:27I mean, they were at the World Series game.
03:29It was just like bang, bang, bang, bang, bang.
03:31She went to Fashion Week.
03:33She was at, oh, yes, of course, she invited herself to Fashion Week.
03:37And then they were in New York to accept a humanitarian award.
03:41Everywhere you looked, Megan and Harry were there.
03:44And every time they attended one of these events, there was some sort of headline around it.
03:49Like people thought it was crazy.
03:50They were at Kris Jenner's birthday party where they were seated at the World Series was a topic of conversation.
03:56So anytime they stepped out, we were like, what are they doing?
03:59What's going on?
04:00Super busy social schedule and a busy year for them.
04:04But we can't forget, of course, the one main thing that I took away from their year in 2025 was the video of them dancing in the hospital to celebrate Lelabette's birthday.
04:15You say dancing.
04:16I say twerking.
04:18That's what I picked up from it was a twerk.
04:20It was.
04:21And I mean, as you said, she's getting back on her social game or social calendar.
04:26Everything social is Megan right now.
04:28She was leaning into the TikTok audios, dancing in her hospital room, getting ready for Lelabette.
04:35This was a throwback video, of course, for her birthday.
04:37To be clear, at the time in the video, Megan was very pregnant, about to give birth.
04:42And I guess she felt that the best way to kind of move things along was just to break it down.
04:47Dance it out.
04:48Dance it out.
04:48Bump and all.
04:49And then it took us a few years to get to see the hidden footage, the family footage of that moment.
04:54But she spoke out about it because everybody was like, oh, it's so cringy.
04:57And she just kind of said, like, I was doing my thing.
04:59Something like that.
05:00OK, now I do have to jump in with one final point, because I feel bad that I called it Megan wrapped.
05:05Technically, it's Megan and Harry wrapped.
05:08It's just Harry didn't have that many blockbuster moments.
05:11He's continued to fight in the UK to regain his taxpayer funded security.
05:17So that's one thing.
05:18He made a very brief cameo in a couple of episodes of Megan's Netflix show.
05:25Very briefly, yes.
05:25And then, of course, the most important thing, I guess, for some is the meeting that he had with King Charles in the UK.
05:34Very brief, but it is understood to have gone very well.
05:37And we believe it may well have signified a step towards reconciliation, at least between father and son.
05:46Yeah, it'll be interesting to see with both of the things that he has on his plate, the security situation and this first.
05:53It seemed like a first initial kind of meeting to touch base as we believe there is a rift in the family with the two of them to kind of reconnect.
06:02It'll be interesting to see where they go from here as we look forward to the new year and we wrap up this year.
06:08But they had a big, busy year and big family stuff, big personal stuff, big work stuff.
06:14We know Megan's going to continue to show us what's going on on social media.
06:17So we'll have to look out for that.
