00:00Amy Schumer announced over the weekend that her and her estranged husband, well, not estranged, Chris Fisher, are divorcing, but they are living together for the sake of their son, according to sources.
00:12But this is great. I mean, they still want to, you know, stick it out for their cutie little boy, Gene.
00:18When Page Six is told, an insider close to the couple says she expects that they'll co-parent full-time together and that he'll see Gene, Chris will see Gene, almost as much as he does now, if not more.
00:30They are still largely under the same roof for the kids' sake.
00:33For the kids' sake and also for New York City rent's sake.
00:36Yeah.
00:37Like, you know what I mean? Like, it's expensive. And her house, like, they are living together in Brooklyn Heights in a townhouse.
00:42She sold it last week for $11 million, which is jaw-dropping, but it's below the price she paid for the property in 2022.
00:51Yeah, so she sold it at a loss. And fun fact, it's the house, the townhouse is featured in Moonstruck.
00:59So it's a historical house, and she's ready to bid adieu to it because Gene got into a good school in Manhattan.
01:06So she wants to live in Manhattan, closer to his school, find a new place in the city.
01:11Maybe she can consult with Ryan Serhan.
01:13Oh, wait.
01:14One of the Serhan agents can help her find a new place.
01:16She was DMing him. Remember that?
01:18Oh, really?
01:18Oh, my God. Maybe that's why she's also DMing him because she DMed her.
01:22Oh, about the show.
01:23That breaking of the fourth wall, Amy Schumer DMed me yesterday, and she was like,
01:28You, just finished the season. When you looked at camera, what? Oh, my God.
01:33It's so good.
01:34I'm like, but Amy!
01:36You're like, hi, you're watching the show. What?
01:37I know.
01:38I wonder if she's like, oh, my God, it was so good. Congrats. By the way.
01:41Help me find a new place.
01:43He could help her out for sure.
01:44He really could. Isn't it crazy? Well, I know this is just kids.
01:47Like, to get into a good school at six years old.
01:50Like, that's New York. Like, I think that's just like schools now.
01:53Isn't that sad? Gene got into a great school. Gene just entered first grade.
01:57It's like his sixth.
01:58Yeah.
01:58I'm like, what is going on?
02:00Yeah, it's wild.
02:00But that's how they do it.
02:02Yeah, but happy for Gene.
02:03Happy for Gene.
02:04Well, actually, Gene is winning. He got into a good school at just six years old.
02:07His parents are co-parenting.
02:10They're living together for this.
02:11Like, honestly, like, Gene is the center of his universe, and I love that for me.
02:14And I do like, because remember they were saying, a source was saying yesterday, is maybe one of the reasons is Amy wants to, like, reprioritize her career a little bit.
02:24So the source is going on to say, if she does another comedy tour at any point in the future, she wants Chris to be the one looking after Gene and ideally be willing to travel with her.
02:34She just never wants to be romantically involved with him again.
02:37Okay. Well, yeah. That's what divorce is there for.
