North Korea just welcomed home its troops who fought alongside Russia in the war in Ukraine. Kim Jong Un personally attended the emotional ceremony in Pyongyang, hugging wounded soldiers and awarding the unit one of the country’s highest honors.
These troops spent 120 days in Russia’s war-torn Kursk region, reportedly clearing mines and engaging in combat. While state media says only 9 soldiers died, outside sources claim thousands of North Korean troops were killed.
This rare public recognition highlights a deepening alliance between North Korea and Russia — and confirms what many feared: North Korean boots are now on Ukrainian soil. WooGlobe Ref : WGA621102 For licensing and to use this video, please email licensing@wooglobe.com
