A Russian drone struck a residential apartment block in the southeastern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia early on December 16, injuring at least three people, according to regional officials. Emergency crews rushed to the scene as flames engulfed parts of the building and residents were evacuated from damaged apartments. Inside one shattered home, Viktoriia, a 34-year-old mother of three, described how her children barely reacted to the blast, saying they may have become used to the explosions. The attack comes amid continued Russian drone strikes targeting civilian areas across Ukraine, raising concerns over the safety of families as winter sets in.
