00:12and Selena Gomez has spoken to the New York Times about the new show she is executive producing with Netflix, 13 Reasons Why.

00:19Sel reveals at the tender age of 15 she sought the rights for the book 13 Reasons

00:24and was able to convey her interest to the author,

00:27confessing she used to be bullied while working at the Disney Channel.

00:30I think he understood that I knew what it meant to be bullied.

00:33I went to the biggest high school in the world, which is the Disney Channel,

00:36and my mom had a lot of history dealing with bullying.

00:39I heard her stories growing up. She's been very open about it.

00:42But why isn't Selena starring in her own passion project?

00:48To be honest, this book has such a huge following. I wanted it to be credible.

01:22However, she also says the way she looks does hold her back.

01:26I will audition for a part that I feel very passionate about.

01:29Meet with the people. Tell them I'm willing to go places.

01:32I think that they think I won't go there.

01:34I look really young, and image-wise, it's difficult for people to grasp.

01:38Switching gears, quickly let's mention the film that helped Sel break away from her Disney mold, Spring Breakers.

01:43Even though she played a very religious character who quit the gang as soon as shit got real.

01:48But anyway, Deadline is reporting the movie is in the process of becoming a web series.

01:53It's also reported Selena, James Franco, and the writer-director of the film Harmony Corrine won't be involved.

03:01OK also reports the two connect at a spiritual level, which we know because they go to church together.

03:07But also they often spend most of their days in bed.

03:10Justin makes Court laugh, feel sexy, desired and they talk for hours.

03:14Although OK's source makes it clear they're just having fun and it's nothing serious.
