00:00Um, so how far is Madeline, do you think she'll go to expose Gore?
00:14I think Madeline will go all the way to expose Gore.
00:17I don't think there's any stopping her.
00:19He stole 10 years of her life by putting her in prison for a crime she didn't commit.
00:23I don't think that that's something that she's going to just be able to move on from.
00:27Do you think there's any redeemable quality in Gore?
00:33Can she feel anything for him positively?
00:38Yeah, no, I do.
00:40I do think there's a redeeming quality in Gore Bellows.
00:43And it's sort of, I think the tragedy of his character, which is that he genuinely believes
00:49that he's on the right side.
00:52Um, and those are the hardest villains to watch because it's heartbreaking.
00:57Because you get the impression that if he, if he could just see the truth, that he could
01:03actually be an incredible ally.
01:05And he's the kind of guy you want on your team and you want him in your foxhole.
01:09It's just that he believes the wrong thing.
01:12And so they can't find their way to one another.
01:16When do you want to know who killed Rosemary?
01:19I will find out who killed Rosemary Lynch when Madeline Scott finds out who killed Rosemary Lynch.
01:24And not a moment before.
01:25And there's a bounty on the head of anyone who tells me.
01:27Is there any benefit to knowing earlier for yourself for the role?
01:34No.
01:35I actually feel like it would be a detriment to know.
01:38Um, I, when I, look, actors all the time pretend to not have information that they actually have.
01:45Right?
01:46Um, and so it's not that I think I can't do it if I know who killed Rosemary.
01:50Um, it's just more interesting for me as an actor to look at a scene and look at a character
01:55and see what the conversation is and see what the questions are and get to genuinely ask them from the point of view,
02:02come at it from the point of view of somebody who doesn't know.
02:05What happens in season six when they say, oh, by the way, we were joking and you actually did it.
02:11And I really did it.
02:12Well, it won't be in season six that I find out who really did it because they promised we're finding out the first season.
02:17They promised that at the end of the first season.
02:20Um, and so we'll, we'll see, we'll see if they make good on their word.
02:24Um, what would it be like if I found out that I actually did it?
02:27Oh, it'd be great.
02:28It would be great.
02:29It would open up a whole other can of worms for a new season.
02:32Why not?
